We had a very nice 5 day stay in the Mountain View Deluxe Room! We got a bonus partial view of the ocean but the mountain view was the stunner. The bed was incredibly comfortable — something I can’t usually say about hotel beds! After a few full-on days, it was wonderful to come back, relax, and genuinely look forward to going to bed without waking up with the usual aches and soreness from usual hotel beds. The layout of the room was a great sized space. The staff were excellent, friendly, and very accommodating. They provided us with a local map and pointed out the nearby areas of interest and answered any questions we had. Overall, a lovely stay and we would happily return! Added bonus was the cute octopus towel! Very much appreciated and made me smile the whole time!

Absolutely loved our top floor view of the ocean and the facilities itself. We had a wonderful week and relaxed at Amaroo and were grateful for the knowledge and information provided to us as well as how kind Kym was with some lost property. We were lucky to be there at non peak time and spoke to some of the other visitors who were lovely.

Fantastic room with stunning views. Got put in the mountain facing room and was shocked by how gorgeous it was. Room was clean, tidy and well maintained. 2 min walk to the beach and shops close by. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay close by to the beach.

We were allocated a room on the 4th floor, so had lovely, views. With fly screen doors, it was great to be able to leave the glass doors wide open at night to allow a breeze to come in. We were advised our room had not had a refurbishment, but we found it perfectly ok, with nothing to fault. For those with mobility problems, just be aware that it is a steep walk down the steps to the beachfront, and the driveway has an incline. However, with a vehicle, we found access to not be a problem and were happy to take the car to visit restaurants. Staff were lovely, both at Reception and Management. Not sure if we will ever visit this wonderful part of Australia again, but if we did would definitely love to stay here again
