We had a very good stay at Alamanda in Cairns. The property was clean, well maintained, and the pools were in very good condition. The apartment was spacious, with a nice kitchen and comfortable living area. It is worth noting that this is an apartment hotel and there is no restaurant on site, so you need to arrange your own meals. The kitchen makes this easy if you prefer to cook yourself. Overall, a very comfortable and well-kept place to stay, and we would happily stay here again.

Got a massage here! I’ve had a lot of massages in my life and this was BY FAR the best one i have ever received . It was unreal , i got a hour full body and it was divine. No complaints. They kept me warm and relaxed for the entirety of the session. I have never felt so relaxed. Everybody needs to receive a massage like this.
Solid four stars. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. Not super luxurious but a good size apartment. Three pools which was good (one adults only, one small heated rock pool, one regular pool). Apartment was up 3 flights of stairs which wasn't super fun, especially while carrying a baby! Decent location, walking distance to the rest of Palm Cove strip. Apartment had all the amenities (full kitchen, laundry etc) that we needed.
Beautiful location right on the beach. 3 pools, 1 adults only pool, 1 heated pool. The garden and surrounds just stunning. 2 bedroom suites, very roomy, but starting to get slightly dated . Have a kitchen, laundry and outdoor area, in these self contained suites. Restaurants and shopping so close. We had an amazing stay and will return again.
Stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment at Alamanda Palm Cove by Lancemore and came away a bit disappointed given the price point ($500+ per night). There are definitely positives. The beds were comfortable, the beachfront location is fantastic, and it’s an easy walk to most Palm Cove restaurants, cafes and bars. The views are beautiful and hard to fault. Unfortunately, the reality of the apartment didn’t really match the photos on the website. The property felt quite dated and a bit banged up in places. The cool white lighting throughout most areas gave more of a hospital vibe than a luxury beachfront resort. Our ensuite door also wouldn’t properly latch closed and kept jamming, which became frustrating pretty quickly. A couple of other things worth noting: there are no lifts meaning we had to carry all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs, and there’s no daily housekeeping service, which honestly felt a bit poor for the nightly rate. Overall, the location carries the experience more than the resort itself.
