Interesting tour and unfortunately very hot indeed , lovely guide but spoke too fast . She was most helpful but my husband wears hearing aids so prefers slower speech .

We will visit only surroundings of the Alcazar. The Alcazar is a group of fortified buildings of Almohad origin (probably the 12th century, being the oldest Almohad building in the Iberian Peninsula)
We will visit only surroundings of the cathedral. The cathedral of Jerez is a 17th century construction that combines Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles.

We had the pleasure of meeting Rose and having her guide us around Jerez, pointing out interesting historical sights and details, and regaling us with interesting bits of history. The tour was well-paced, and she sent us a list of local eateries to try when we finished.
El Chapparal and la siesta bars and restaurants are very good. If you want live music Rosie's bar, cha locos and Carmen's offer some good acts.If you want good food Carmen's,and Rosie's are good. Restaurant casa Mia offer a great choice of English and Italian food and a good breakfast.
We booked an English speaking tour. A Spanish couple were included so it became a bilingual tour. A lot of time to wait for the translation. The guide was sweet girl but her delivery in English was with too much information delivered at too high a speed. We felt very sorry for our Dutch members in the group who, although their English was impeccable, found it extremely difficult to follow the guide. We do either walking tours or cycle tours wherever we go but this one did not work for us.
Excellent customer service. Spacious and clean facilities. They need to work a better deal with the Arenal public parking.
We really enjoyed our walking tour in Jerez. Rose was a knowledgeable guide and delivered the tour in 2 languages. Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly recommend this tour.
We have always booked a private tour of new holiday cities and can honestly say that this one in Jerez was wonderful with one of the best guides we have ever had, Rose. She was charming, friendly, funny and had an incredible in depth knowledge of the area and other places we talked to her about. She also has great unknown insider facts which were fascinating. At the end of the tour she took us to a tiny authentic sherry bar called a Tabasco for a tasting and some atmospheric flamenco which was not at all touristy. We enjoyed it all very much. Highly recommended and do ask for Rose who speaks wonderful Spanish, and German.
Excellent guide who had so much knowledge. Ended in a flamenco bar with a sherry tasting . The flamenco was amazing and such a surprise.
We had a great time with Rose in the Jerez tour. She is so passionate and knowledgeable about the city and the monuments. Compared to many other tours we have taken in the past this one with Rose will always be a memorable one for us. Highly recommend!
Great tour of Jerez with Lu. She was very communicative and informative. Great personality. We had a blast on her tour and learned colt of Spanish history in general. Absolutely recommend this tour.
Our guide, Lucia, was very friendly, knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and enthusiastic about sharing her love of Jerez. Her English was excellent. She answered all our questions clearly. Very good tour.
Wibsey tour with Victoria why m who really brought the history of,cadiz to life. Would highly reconnend.
The guide was excellent . She explained everything in two languages and answered all our questions . However we didn’t receive a confirmation email - I had booked for 6.00 pm and then got a phone call at 11.10 to say the walk was at 11.0 Poor communication on the part of the management.
Lovely tour guide. Great overview of the city and the history of Spain as well! Pretty gem town in Andalucia. Tour helped understand the town.
Lucia was a very good guide- engaging and very interesting on the history and culture of this lovely city. She was happy to answer questions and it was lovely to see her enthusiasm for the place.
A really interesting walk around Jerez. Luisa was a fabulous guide. Her passion for Jerez shines through and the information about the different architecture she pointed out to us was interesting and easily understood. She was also full of little anecdotes about day to day life in the city which really added to the experience. She has a masterful grasp of English which meant we didn't miss a thing. Our tour started at 11.00am and we were told to meet in Plaza del Arenal. This is a big square and despite being there at 10.30am we only found the guide at 11.00am! A more precise meeting point is required.
The tour was absolutely amazing. Angel was so enthusiastic and so knowledgeable about the history of the city. He was such good fun too! The pace was good and we learned such a lot. I would highly recommend anyone interested in history and the art associated with the buildings to join this tour. Thank you Angel you were great!
Enjoyable tour and not too much walking for older folk like us. Really friendly and informative guide, thanks Angel made the trip a pleasure.
This was a really good tour of Jerez. We learned a lot about the city and it’s history.Although there was also information about where best to eat and the Tabasco bars.We we’re not staying in Jerez but after the tour we wished we had been.
Very good tour with Almu, answered all of our questions and gave us tips on where to go for lunch as well as other ideas for visits in the area.
I didn’t get to go as the trip was cancelled. I’m waiting to receive an email to say I have benn sent a refund in full.
Unfortunately, our experience with two back-to-back tours (Walking History Tour of Jerez and the Tapas Tour of Jerez) was not good. The guide for both tours was pleasant and enthusiastic, but the information she provided, her delivery, her situational awareness, and her English skills were much less than what we expected. We booked the tours based on recent reviews, all of which mentioned a different guide, Marta. If the tour operator was not able to provide the same guide or one with similar talents, they should have cancelled our tours. Had we known the tours were going to be this disappointing, we would not have booked them and toured Jerez on our own. The only clients on our tours were my wife and me. We wondered if the tour operator provided a substitute guide because there were only two of us. If the tour operator would like more specific feedback about our experience, they can contact me directly. Our time and the cost were not worth the price of the tours.
I definitely had a good time! We had a very enthusiastic guide, who showed as around the lovely city centre. It was so much easier picking the sights to have a closer look later on. Definitely recommend it as an appetizer to the city!
Really enjoyed our tour. Martha was a well informed, interesting and very engaging guide. A highlight of our trip to Jerez
. This tour was the best way to learn about Jerez from an insider’s perspective and an enjoyable way to enjoy a morning walking around Jerez. Our tour guide Marta Sordo was perfect for the job. She is not only knowledgeable and highly competent but she is also friendly and offered an interesting and refreshing perspective that could only come from a “local.” Her knowledge of the history of Jerez and Andalucía, her ability to answer all our questions and her recommendations about what else to do in Jerez were invaluable. And well worth the reasonable price.
We had our tour with Marta and it was an excellent and enjoyable tour. She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she enjoys what she does. She pointed out details of both history and art that other guides would probably miss. Her English was very good and she is very engaging. We would highly recommended her.
Very good tour with knowledgeable guide. Lots of interesting information especially about the many churches.
Our tour guide Maria brought Jerez to life for us, with her obvious passion for the history and architecture of the town. The tour was both informative and entertaining - a very enjoyable experience which we would recommend.
This was an excellent and informative tour. Our tour guide Marta was wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much about Jerez and the history of the region! Well worth the price and we highly recommend it.
My husband and I are very fortunate that we get to travel quite a bit around Europe. We both love both history and art and have been on a great many tours - this was one of the very best. Marta showed us so much in Jerez that we are considering it as a place to stay the next time we are in Southern Spain and we learned so much about details of what elements of art represent that we never knew. A+++
Can’t say enough great things about Marta. She’s very knowledgeable and passionate about Jerez. She provided many interesting facts and observations in an informative and entertaining way. Two hours went by quickly. We didn’t want the tour to end!
Marta was a terrific guide. She is knowledgeable, friendly, funny and well informed. We learned a lot about some of the important buildings of Jerez and were introduced to some beautiful buildings that we would never have seen otherwise. Our guide had to cancel just beofre our originally scheduled tour and the manager of Andalucia Tours called me to let me know and arranged another time and date for our tour. Good customer service.
Marta was a terrific guide. she is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and has a good sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour.
Maria has a passion for her town and knows many details unique to Jerez. We really enjoyed her perspective
Marta was an excellent walking tour guide and we learnt much about Jerez's incredible history. This is a lovely city and it is well worth knowing more about its history, customs and development. Highly recommended.
The 3 of us loved the tour with Marta. She was knowledgeable, friendly and funny! We had a great time at this tour!
Marta was an outstanding guide. She truly loves the history of the town and the region. She is also very funny and an enjoyable person to spend time with. You learn a lot in 2 hours!
HAVING time to ask many questions and discuss local issues with Marta. Great weather and views of the city.
We had a fantastic tour with Marta. The city of Jerez is so charming and beautiful, but having Marta as our guide was truly a blessing and added much value to our experience. She has a lot of knowledge about the city's history and culture. Marta speaks English perfectly and brought humor to the tour, making it very enjoyable, like having a friend guide you through the city. Thank you Marta, we highly recommend Andalusia Tours!
Very friendly and knowledgeable guides, a great introduction to the best Jerez has to offer. We will definitively be back
Marta was our guide. A LUXURY. She explained all the monuments in great detail. It was a fantastic visit. Thank you, Marta.
We have come a group of friends to visit this winery and it has been an experience that I recommend if you want to know how this spectacular chamomile is produced! Laura has been an outstanding guide, she has taught us a lot and has conveyed the special and different of this denomination of origin!! You can see that he knows a lot and transmits his knowledge with a lot of passion..Laura we will continue to apostle with your teachings, do not hesitate!!
A very interesting tour of Jerez through this tour of the old quarter and main monuments of Jerez. Rosalda gave us good anecdotes making the visit even more interesting. Thanks to her for giving us time.
I was hoping otherwise. The Pillar guide I admit I knew a lot but I think it got very thick. Something lighter would have been better
A very enjoyable visit, Jerez is very beautiful and our guide was the best, friendly, pleasant, the truth is that I liked it a lot!!
Jerez de la Frontera is worth knowing Especially during Holy Week The passion is formidable with Religious and very Popular Processions with exemplary respect
Thank you very much to Miriam for teaching us Jerez! It was two hours of private walking tour of the city. We were with a little girl and Miriam got her to be entertained the whole tour and that the adults also enjoyed the tour. Miriam is charming, made a lovely tour, has been watching our well-being all the time and is an endless source of knowledge and history. Thanks to it we learned a lot about the history and architecture of the city.
Maria has been an exceptional guide, super friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable on the side of history peppered with chacarrillos and anecdotes, tremendously enjoyable and charming. Two hours of walking that are spent flying and have allowed us to know a little better this beautiful city of Jerez. Highly recommended. Thank you very much for a great afternoon Maria.
The fun and interesting of the information transmitted. Adapted to all ages. The extraordinary guide.
