Good experience and gives a snapshot of Cádiz. Relaxing way to see round and be told the history etc.

Bus was easy to find and not very busy. The route was along the main sites and easy to get off & on. Commentary was informative. We found this an easy way to see the area.
A good way to see the city highlights. Many stops along the way within walking distance to the Cathedral, Genoves Garden spectacular, cantre Market.
Excellent Hop on Hop off. Easy to understand narration. Very good experience. Close to cruise ship pier, very convenient.
Tour time and attractions visited were perfect for our short visit to Cadiz. Mayka from City Sightseeing Cadiz was so helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful way to see the city outside of the old town and to get our bearings. We would highly recommend this tour and hopefully you'll get to meet Mayka too. Many thanks, Anna and Helen
Very good co Easy to find just outside cruise port and good long tour with very good commentary Easy to find
On leaving our ship we directed to walk a kilometer or more when another stop was much nearer. Bus was old and needed replacing. Stop call button was difficult to find. The supplied route map made no sense at all. Most of the tour was padding to make it long enough. Not worth spending money on.
Don’t waste your money!! Long lines / long waits for busses / slow at every stop / my headphone socket wasn’t working either. It’s a half hour walk from the port to town where you can see everything
Long lines to get on at first stop because the ship people overwhelm the stop. Also the ship get in at 7 am and the busses start at 10 loosing 3 hours of touring. also they should offer a 1 day pass from cheaper price instead of only offering 2 day.
We booked the HOHO the evening before our Cádiz port stop. No difficulty getting e-tickets for the tour. The bus picked up and dropped off right outside the cruise terminal for convenience. The buses are like other HOHO buses we have had in the past. Earbuds are included with a map of the stops. We could dial in to the English guide which narrated as we drove thought the city. We just wanted an overview and got off at 2 stops, the cathedral stop which is in the area of the restaurants and shops. We did an inside audio tour of the cathedral then got gelato. We decided to get off again at the beautiful park Genovés on the sea. Great walk there. We got back on the HOHO and went back to the ship. That took us about 4 hours. Buses were not overly crowded and came by about every 20 minutes or earlier. Overall we were happy with our decision.
The HOHO Bus stops right outside the cruise port which is great! However, we did have a small snag but Maria Mar was able to help us get it to get her. Once she did her magic, we were one the bus, ready to learn about the city of Cadiz.
Alex was very helpful with what to do and the timing. Highly recommend
Thanks Alex for the great tour. Bus worked very well.
What a rip off 27 euros did not stop at all stops stopped at one beach half way round would not recommend
We found this very disappointing. Although there were plenty of busses when we arrived at the port in the morning many of them were taken out of service during the day. This resulted in 30- 40 minutes waiting time if you got off and rejoined! The round trip took just over an hour and some stops were missed out. There was no wifi on our bus. Poor value for money at 27 euros each.
To be fair we rode the bus through its route without hopping off. It was nice to hear and see an overview of the city and learn about Cadiz.
Great way to get an overview of Cadiz, easily accessible from the cruise terminal. Good value for the money.
Great tour, welcoming staff, clean bus and professional drivers. The driver was pleasant and patient. He took great care of us passengers. Comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
It was awesome 👏 , informations very clear, the people working are very professional and kind. The bus very clean!
I love this hop on hop off bus. I just wish it was more frequent. I do these everywhere I travel and truly enjoy them. This tour gave you enough time to see different spots, but there were times that it would've been nice if there were more buses.
Would benefit from much more detailed commentary and information about old and new cadiz. The new town section merely referred to the beaches. Two areas shown on the route map were omitted - plaza de espana and out to the causeway to the mainland. (Especially if you are not interested in the vouchers) pay on the bus - less than online - but needed cash as a back up as credit card machine not working. Polite and helpful driver
We purchased our tickets late in the afternoon knowing they were good for 24 hours through the next day. We stayed on for the entire route so we could decide where we wanted to go the next day. The next day, we were disappointed to find that only one bus was running, and it was an hour between each pick up. Not only that at 2:30 PM when we got off the bus for a stop we were told that was the last run for the day. Rain was the reason we were given. Very disappointing to not get what we paid for or expected!
Horrible experience with this scam company. You pay them ahead of time and they don’t accept your tickets. Extremely rude.
Great way to navigate the area. Can get off check out the place and get back on. Went back to the cruise ship and used it again. Right at the cruise ship terminal!
It's okay for a small port city. Some of the busses need to be upgraded with headphone outlets that actually work.
They should make sure that they have a phone that works if they prepaid for the trip because I had to pay twice because I couldn’t get my phone to work. Now I’m gonna have to try to get my money back somehow.
Section of route omitted. Timetable was a useless fiction. Staff unhelpful and evasive. Complaint form only available in Spanish.
Normally we love a hop on, hop off bus. The bus audio and the staff were of the usual very high standard. Our issue is that the route is very short and comes back exactly that same way that it went so you see the same things twice. Cadiz is a very walkable town so we highly recommend saving your money and having a lovely walk, which we did after our bus tour. Definitely not worth the £ 48 it costs for 2 people who it’s an easy walk.
I have used Hop On Hop Off busses all over…London, Barcelona, Athens ++ all very well worth the price. Unfortunately for Cadiz, it just wasn’t worth it, The town is small, the bus route is an out and back; not even a loop around town. Not many attractions to make it worth while. The bus only stays on the main route, can’t travel through the city. You are better off using the city bus; no different in having to find a seat on the bus and significantly less in cost. The town itself, charming and better viewed simply walking around.
As we came out of the port of Cadiz the ticket seller was there. She encouraged us to do the trip for 25€ each. My partner's socket for his speakers didn't work, so he had to find another seat. We hopped off at the beach stop 12 by Playa de la Victoria. Had a lovely lunch on the beach when I realised we hadn't seen any buses pass. We walked to the stop and waited. No bus. No timetable. When one did appear, it failed to stop. We incurred unnecessary stress as we were time restricted to get back to the port. Would not recommend as not value for money, or as described.
There was a group of five (adults 50-60 years old) talking loudly to eachother. I asked them kindly to be more considerate as I and surely others wanted to hear the commentary. The my yelled that i was crazy. One guy was also standing in the seats with half his body sticking out (open roof bus). I went down to the driver to let him know about this loud rowdy group and the driver could not care less. Out of frustration i got off. I commented about this to the hostess of city sightseeing. She just shrugged bet shoulders and told me to get the next bus. Clearly this company does not care at all about the customers. My advice would be to avoid this bus and walk around or take a guided WALKING tour.
The tour bus started right outside of the port which was unexpected. We rode the entire route and then made are choice of stops to explore. ON/OFFs were spaced at the right distance allowing for exploring between them.
We would say don't waste your money! We decided on day 1 to buy a ticket at one of their bus stops but after waiting at a number of stops and being waved to by drivers we gave up. Day 2 we bought a ticket at the tourist information. Armed with a ticket we waited at a bus stop in searing heat for 55 minutes. Also it is really not clear where the bus stops are. It was sometimes just a board propped up against a wall or a stop post not exactly next to the stop. Whereas we were supposed to get our money's worth using the bus over 2 full days we managed just 2 short trips. In actual fact there is little of interest in Cadiz except in the centre; places you can easily walk to.
Not great viewing of key sites from the bus. Busses so crowded that you were afraid to get off that you would stand in line for many minutes again to get back on. I wouldn’t say don’t do it but it is truly an average experience. Employees did a nice job handling crowds of people waiting in line.
Cadiz is a beautiful and compact little city. The bus didn’t really enhance what we had learned on an excellent Viator walking tour
A great tour of the city! I have always had a great experience with this tour company and seeing Cadiz in this manner is a must see. So much history and such a beautiful city.
Was great until we waited about 40-45 min for the hop on hop off at stop 13 in order to get back to the ship at 2:30p or so. What happened to every 20 min?
Excellent service all round. Friendly and helpful staff. Cost included entry to the Cathedral which was amazing. Wheelchair accessible and the audio was clear and in very good English. Lots of stops. Was very easy to access the tour from the cruise ship.
Viator tour booking, payment and ticketing wete excellent. Tour was good, but short (a geographical limitation) and headphones did not work, but enjoyed Cafiz
Excellent way to see the city with opportunities to get off and visit desired locations. Everyone was friendly and helpful, audio worked in our language, and was very informative.
It was a good way to get acquainted with the lovely city of Cádiz. Sitting on the upper level was a bit dangerous as I got hit with a tree branch 3 times. The first time I got hit I was grateful for wearing glasses. They need to monitor the tree branches and get them trimmed!
Decided at the last minute to catch the hop-on-hop-off Cadiz bus tour. The lady who sold the tickets was very helpful with all the information and most importantly our dog was allowed to join us! Lovely weather and not too crowded and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour around lovely Cadiz!
My family and I had a shore day from a Cruise in Cadiz with no plans, so I grabbed us some tickets for the Hop-on Hop-off bus just to get around town. The first bus we got on had an audio issue, but the staff were very accommodating and had a new empty bus meet us at the second stop to move everyone over. From there it was easy going. There's only one route and busses come frequently. It hits a nice mix of historical sites, commercial areas, and parks and is easy to navigate. There are different packages you can purchase through the website or app that include different attractions, so I recommend buying a ticket in advance rather than going for the more expensive packages sold be default around town. There were two stops very near the cruise port terminal, so it made for a very convenient way of getting around town during a short visit.
Nice tour that lasts about an hour and 15 minutes. A lot of dead time between narratives that could expand on some of the history that was just touched upon. Biggest issue was headphones not working. Ourselves and others changed seats multiple times looking for working ear plugins. I would recommend this tour.
Nobody told us when we handed over our fifty euros (25each) that only some of the plug in audio points were working. The buses were packed so no option to move seats. The driver made a big show of not being aware when informed, strangely enough it was the same on another bus. The sights are nice, no idea what we were looking at mind. No refund offered, clearly a company more interested in profit over customer satisfaction.
We enjoyed this hop on hop off tour. The route gives a good overview of the city, which itself has many beautiful things to see. The bus was reasonably clean, unlike in Malaga where it was absolutely filthy.
Good way to see this beautiful city. Took route around the city, got off at sites we wanted to see next time around. Easy access, not far from port.
Nice short overview of the city. Lines were long though. The sun was brutal and it was extremely windy. Wear your sunscreen.
Cadiz is small enough that most able bodied people can walk from one side of town to the other. The bus takes a nice tour of the perimeter, which is beautiful, but doesn't take long since the city is small. The streets are too narrow for the bus to travel through the interior. All said, it's not a very long trip and can be accomplished in about 45 minutes.
We had a great guide, super friendly and informative. Giao from Brazil. Was well worth the cost of the trip.
