It was a very detailed and entertaining tour. I enjoyed being able to take it at my own pace. The is a software problem that didn’t allow me to go back to the place I was before I looked around at one of the supplementary information sections which meant none of the GPS triggers. Otherwise I would have given it a five.

Itinerary
Cadiz is located on a peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean and is the oldest city in Spain. This city is, because of its shape with the sea on three sides, also called Una Taza de Plata, which means the silver bowl. Another nickname for the city is Little Havana, because of the similarities and ties between the two cities. During this audio tour, you will get to know impressive sights such as the Cathedral of Cadiz, Torre Tavira, Castillo de San Sebastián, Teatro Romano de Cadiz, and Parque Genovés. So enough to be amazed by this beautiful city during this walking tour. Moreover, you walk along beautiful squares and you can enjoy all the greenery around you. Are you ready to discover Cádiz? In the following points, you'll see just a few examples of the many attractions we will pass by.
Constructed over centuries, the cathedral showcases a captivating blend of architectural styles, including Baroque and Neoclassical influences. One of its most striking features is its golden-tiled dome, which has earned it the nickname "Catedral de la Santa Cruz sobre el Mar" or "Cathedral of the Holy Cross upon the Sea." This grand cathedral stands as a testament to Cádiz's maritime heritage and historical significance. Inside, visitors can explore an array of chapels adorned with stunning artwork, intricate sculptures, and beautiful stained glass windows. The crypt houses the remains of several notable figures from Cádiz's history.
The Romano Theatre of Cadiz is on the tour route. The Roman theater is located in the El Populo district, just east of the city's main cathedral. The remains were discovered in 1980. The theater, believed to have been built in the 1st century BC, was excavated by order of King Alfonso X of Castile.
Plaza de San Juan de Dios is on the tour route. The Plaza de San Juan de Dios has been a unique and beloved square for centuries, serving as the Main Square and being very close to one of the city gates (the current Arco del Pópulo).
The Castle of San Sebastian is on the tour route. The Castle of San Sebastián is a fortress in the city of Cádiz, situated at the end of La Caleta Beach on a small island.

I completed this self-guided walking tour while on a weekend trip to Cadiz. It succeeded in getting me out and about while waiting to check-in, but I’m pretty sure it’s narrated by AI. This was fine, but I would’ve preferred a real human and more in-depth descriptions
We felt this was very worthwhile and found it pretty easy to use. It took us MUCH longer to complete than described. I felt there could have been more talking.
The guide kept us on track to see all the cool sites in Cadiz. We would have been lost without it. Very easy to use.
Fantastic tour - enabled us to see far more of Cadiz than we would have found just wandering about on our own. The recorded information offered great insights and the ability to stop and start suited us very well.
The route through the historic center is well chosen and shows many different sides of Cádiz. Especially nice that while traveling you don't just get background stories, but you can also find practical information about sights and opening hours in the app.
We started the tour after lunch and ended up spending almost the whole afternoon on it. Not because the walk is so long, but because we kept wanting to look or sit somewhere along the way. That freedom is exactly what makes this tour very pleasant.
We really enjoyed this walk. No rush, just listen to the stories and discover the city in the meantime. The route is easy to follow and there are plenty of nice places to stop along the way. We especially liked the combination of the audio tour and the local tips!
It's very nice that you are not tied down to anything. We stopped several times for coffee, tapas, and a visit to a sight. Then you just pick up the tour again. Beautiful route and interesting stories.
No large groups or fixed times, just start when it suits you. That was ideal for us. Stopped a few times for coffee and tapas along the way and then continued without problems. The stories are told nicely and are not too long.
We were only in Cádiz for 1 day and wanted to see as much of the city as possible. With this audio tour, we got a good impression of the historic center and also visited places we probably would have skipped ourselves. The practical tips in the app were a nice addition.
Nice route with a good mix of history, beautiful buildings, and seaside locations. You completely determine the pace, allowing us to have a relaxed lunch and visit some sights along the way. Then we just continued with the tour.
We thought we knew Cádiz reasonably well, but this walk showed us new places again. The combination of history, route, and practical information in the app works very well. Nice that you also get tips for food and drink right away.
Did a fun audio tour in Cadiz. Really recommended!
The audio tour of Cádiz was surprisingly fun. You visit well-known places, but also places we wouldn't have easily gotten to ourselves. The tips for local restaurants and bars made the app extra useful for us.
What a nice way to discover Cadiz. The walk leads through atmospheric streets towards the sea. Top tour!
We spread the tour over a large part of the day. Had lunch in between and sat by the sea for a while. It's really nice that you can just continue at your own pace. The route and stories were excellent.
Very nice audio tour through Cádiz. The route takes you through narrow streets, past squares and beautiful spots by the sea. The stories about the old trading city made the walk interesting. The city tips in the app were also useful for opening hours and nice places to have a drink.
The stories were varied, informative, and just the right length. We found it especially practical that the navigation worked reliably and the audio content was played automatically at the right location. This allowed us to walk through the city in a very relaxed manner at our own pace. For anyone who really wants to get to know Cádiz, we can recommend this audio tour without reservation.
All major and well-known points are explained. It is the little unknown points that surprised us and thus excited us. Clear recommendation.
We used the CityAppTour app on iPhone. After some difficulties in getting started and problems with internet reception in the narrow streets, we appreciated the route proposed as well as the comments on points of interest. Thanks to this application we were able to make a visit of Cadiz by being autonomous.
Visite en toute autonomie, très pratique et complète pour un prix raisonnable. J'espère le faire dans d'autres villes
