Recently stayed in a front sea view room, room itself was ok as hotel rooms go, unfortunately there is no facilities for tea and coffee in the room. We was celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to eat the restaurant, at first the manager couldn't do enough for us, my husband ordered the steak, medium, when it came it was more rare and after 3 bites it was nearly all fat, when he complained the manager took the plate and returned a few minutes later with an 'alternative' piece of steak, however it was the same steak just put on another plate with potatoes and vegetables. My husband refused to eat this and the manager took the plate away. She then returned with the bill even though we hadn't asked for it or even finished our wine. We went back to our room and was subject to loud music until 2am from a stage beneath the room. We checked out a day early as didn't want to stay another night, the receptionist was not very helpful as she said it's carnival time, when we explained we should have been made aware she asked if we requested to change our room, bit late by then. We found the staff dismissive and unwelcoming,

Beautiful hotel, amazing location and great staff. They have their own parking underground for about 20 euros. Tight spots but good for a mid to small car. They rent out beach towels that you get your deposit back once returned. Beach is literally walking three minutes distance. Pool looked clean. Rooms were very spacious. Showers were a bit tight. Partial beach view was amazing. I believe there’s a charge for full beach view. Overall an excellent place to stay!
The location is perfect, right on the beach of the same name. Even the rooms with limited sea view offered a wonderful view. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We got a small welcoming gift; some small tasty chocolate sweets. The hotel has its own restaurant, but there are also countless restaurants, cafeterias and supermarkets nearby. The beach itself is beautiful. The design of the building and the rooms is definitely a bit old-fashioned, but everything is well-maintained and still very pleasant. The hotel has its own underground parking garage, and the bus stop is practically right in front of the door. We were very happy with our stay.
This hotel stands out for its architecture, because it is somehow in the middle of the promenade walk. Seems old, but renovated. There is a pool which is small, relative to the size of the building (no need for a pool if you're on the beach). Maintenance can be better, but bear in mind that the ocean will never stop beating all these buildings on the beachfront.
PROS: The staff are very polite and helpful. The location is good, on the beach and near most amenities and selection of bars and restaurants. Although the quality of food generally is not very good. It’s a very touristy place. The breakfast at the hotel is good, but some items like pancakes you could only get if you eat before 9am and the “hot food” is more lukewarm or cold than hot. CONS:. At €330 a night for bed and breakfast you may expect some luxury but unfortunately you will not get any. The rooms are small and very dated and lack very basic facilities such as tea/coffee machines, slippers and robes that usually you get in 4/5 star hotels. Our room had sea views and that part was nice, but there was a smell of damp and sweat as soon as we walked in which would not go away no matter how much we aired the room. We could not even get WiFi in our room. The hotel said they had problems with their provider. The hotel was full so we could not get another room and as we had prepaid, refund was not available either to go somewhere else. The pool is very small and kids and adults are jumping into it all the time so forget about a peaceful swim or sitting by the pool. There are only around 20 or so sunbeds available. Nowhere near enough for the demand. To hire a sunbed on the beach is €22 for 2 beds which is around €10 more than average and can get very expensive if you want to sit on the beach every day. The hotel car park is also expensive at €23 per day and in high season it is almost always full. There are nearby parkings around €17/€18 per day, but they’re also often full and some are so tight that you cannot even get out of the car. Basically, avoid Cádiz in summer months as it’s very crowded and everything is overpriced including the hotels!
