Last minute booking, expensive and the room was stinking of mold from the minute we entered, the bathroom had probably never seen bleach in its life, terrible to say the least. The ceiling was full of black marks, so was the walls and any other white surface. I think room 116 was used at one time then just left empty and we got stuffed as had no other option!
I have been coming to this hotel during the summer for a number of years now, and it genuinely feels like my home away from home. There is a reason I keep returning year after year. One of the hotel’s greatest strengths is its staff. The bar attendants and reception team deserve particular praise for the excellent service they provide. Everyone is consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful, and everything is dealt with efficiently and professionally. They really contribute to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere of the hotel and make returning each summer a pleasure. My only real disappointment is the gym, which unfortunately falls well below the standard of the rest of the hotel. For a hotel of this quality, the fitness facilities really need some attention and investment. There is only one treadmill, and remarkably it has been out of order since 2023. During my stay, around half of the gym equipment was also not working. For guests like myself who enjoy exercising while on holiday, this is a significant let-down and something I sincerely hope the hotel addresses. That aside, I continue to have a great affection for this hotel. The wonderful staff and consistently friendly service are a big part of why I have returned for so many summers, and I look forward to coming back again.
Stayed at Guadacorte AZZ hotel for 3 weeks June 2026 great base to explore the area. Hotel was so relaxing spent lot of time at lovely pool and terrace. Staff were so attentive and friendly, especially Miguel & Javier who made us feel at home.
This place was not a 4 star it should be a 1 star. Pool was close room was molding. Remodeling noise in the morning and kids running around. Definitely won't be coming back.
Evening staff are lovely, dinner was average. Meals are costly but meatballs and fries came out cold. Breakfast was lower end of average continental style, seen much nicer for 4 star. When leaving breakfast to room, we were reminded we needed to pay for breakfast. This was something we already discussed with this waiter, why he felt the need to remind us as we were leaving like dude, you have our card details so you could bill me if you wanted to anyway?! Bit ropey around the edges, damp in lower level walls. Shower pressure good. Feels like a 3 star, costs like a 4.
