Leeza was a great tour guide and Michael was a fantastic driver. I highly recommend the tour and this guide and driver.

Our second stop is the Giants Causeway, commonly called ‘the 8th wonder of the world', it is the only world heritage site in Ireland. During our stop here you can spend time climbing over the ancient stones, snapping photos and reflecting on the myths and legends of this very unique area.

The Antrim Coast Road is widely agreed to be one of the finest stretches of road anywhere in the world. The road hugs the coastline giving incredible seaside views, passing unspoiled beaches and sheltering under rugged cliffs. You may even see Scotland on a good day!
Located in Cushendall in the warm heart of the Glens of Antrim and Causeway Coast. Harry's Licensed Restaurant Cushendall sources all food from local outlets we pride ourselves in the freshness of our seafood dishes.(Time allowing)
Our last stop is at Carrickfergus Castle, situated on the northern shore of Belfast Lough. This Norman Castle, which dates back to 1177, was besieged in turn by the Scots, Irish, English and French for centuries. It remains one of the best-preserved medieval structures in Ireland and presents a great opportunity for photographs.

We had an excellent hike at giant Causeway, managed both the red (across the ridge) and blue trail (along the waterfront ) back to the visitor center. Our driver was very knowledgable and managed to show us many of the sites. We got back to the ship an hour before all on board so we were happy with that. Overall a very good tour
Stuart our tour guide met us at the port even though we didn’t get off the ship tell 9:15. He was our driver and guide and was full of historical facts and stories. Very witty and funny. The perfect amount. He planned our lunch and ordered a head of time. The perfect day because of him. Well rounded sights to see too. Highly recommend 🙌
The sites were terrific. The driver, Jim, was a careful driver, no speeding, safe. The bus was very hot. I ask for the a/c to be turned up, it was for a few minutes then turned down. We sat towards the rear and burned up the entire day. Many people were nodding off to nap. Lisa, the guide: the microphone was very loud, she didn’t inquire about our comfort, she ran the group like a drill Sargent— a Was ready - unapologeticly, to leave a passenger because she hadn’t returned to the bus at the time stated… all the people around us were very concerned about her lack of empathy. It ended up that her group didn’t meet her. She spoke nonstop the entire day. Appreciated her knowledge, but rest gaps would have been welcome. It also seemed she was bragging about her experience in guiding tours. At Giants Causeway she didn’t tell us there was a shuttle down nor back. She told us the blue & red route options… if we’d taken the red, we wouldn’t have made it back to the bus. This wasn’t her issue, but the area to buy trinkets was hardly as big as a closet!
It’s a great way to see the Giant’s Causeway and some beautiful landscapes. The tour itself deserves 5 stars. However, our guide (who was also the driver) spent a lot of time telling us personal stories about himself and his family, while providing relatively little historical information. He talked almost continuously for several hours, and the speakers were very loud. We asked if he could lower the volume, but he said he couldn’t because it was fixed. I understand that some tourists may enjoy hearing personal stories from their guides, but for me, there was too much talking and not enough historical information about the places we were visiting.
Tour left right from the cruise port, very mindful of our timetable for the cruise. Troy was the best guide we’ve had this trip! He’s very professional, informative, and gave us a great tour of Giants Causeway and the coast! A tour from our cruise ship was ridiculously priced and we ran into the other passengers at every stop, so it’s almost identical for a portion of the price. Back in plenty of time for our cruise departure, could have even gone into Belfast for an hour or two before departure had we wanted. Highly recommend!
We had a blast having Troy as our guide for the day. We arrived by cruise ship and the bus was waiting for us to disembark. Troy was very informative and entertaining. The Giant's Causeway does involve a bit of walking. Due to bad knees, I only walked about halfway down, while my husband went all the way. His photos along the coast are stunning. As we drove by the Peace Wall area of Belfast, Troy gave us a history lesson about the "Troubles". I would recommend this tour, especially for cruise ship passengers as it is a lot more affordable than the ship's tours.
Our day with Lisa, our tour guide, and Gabriel, our driver was fantastic! They were so easy to locate right away in the morning without difficulty and showed us exactly where to go. Lisa had so much knowledge of the area that she shared with us. Giants Causeway was gorgeous despite the misty weather. We saw a lot of additional sites along the way and our guide took the time to collect preorders to make things easier at the restaurant for lunch. This team went above and beyond to make sure that everyone enjoyed the day. Make sure you take this tour. You won’t regret it!
This tour was amazing!! The price was excellent! The tour guide, Lisa, and bus driver, Gabriel, were wonderful! Lisa was so knowledgeable about the history of Northern Ireland- we learned so much. They picked us up right after we got off our ship. So much was packed into the 9- hour tour! Loved the Giant’s Causeway and glad we got 1 1/2 hours there. Lunch at Harry’s was excellent, also. We all want to come back and it is in part because of Lisa and part the beauty of Northern Ireland! 💕
This is the best trip I’ve had so far! As a solo traveler, I felt completely welcomed and engaged the entire time. Our guide was extraordinarily nice and knowledgeable—I’ve never listened to history being told in such a fascinating way. The tour also offers a great balance, giving you lots of independent time for exploring the city and enjoying some beautiful hiking. Highly recommend!
On the 27th of Mai about 20 people were waiting, but the bus didn’t come, and we didn’t receive a phone call about the delay either. When I called the office, they said there had been some kind of problem, but that the bus would be coming. Our bus arrived more than half an hour late. After that, the driver-tour guide performed his duties in an exemplary manner.
Highly recommended - this was a great day out and perfect itinerary to see Giant’s Causeway for far less than the excursion through the cruise line and with a much smaller group. We had a great time!
I booked this excursion through Viator, but unfortunately I never received any instructions from the tour operator. The only information available in the booking was a general guideline saying that cruise passengers arriving before 8:00 AM would depart at 8:30 AM. When we arrived at the port, there were several companies contracted by Viator, but none of them had my booking on their list. It was confusing and frustrating to be standing there with no clear direction and no representative who recognized our reservation. The only positive part of the experience was that one of the drivers/guides — who was not even assigned to us — was incredibly kind and allowed us to join his group so we wouldn’t be left behind. His kindness saved the day, but this should not have been necessary. Overall, the lack of communication and missing booking information made this a stressful experience. I hope Viator and the local operator improve their coordination and provide clear instructions to avoid this happening to other travelers.
Great fun! Louie was entertaining and knowledgeable. My daughter loved it! Phil from Canada
Our tour guide, Louie, was incredible, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour if you’re on a cruise. We were picked up from the port on time and dropped back off with plenty of time to spare. I can’t say enough good things about this tour!
Excellent trip, one of the best excursions I’ve ever taken. Troy went out of his way to show us everything possible in time allotted. He was very knowledgeable and fun. We had a beautiful tour of the coastline on the way back, far better than what’s offered as part of ship’s tour. Highly recommend.
Great tour of Northern Ireland with knowledgeable, savvy, and informative guide. One of our best experiences this trip!
Great day with pick up right near our cruise ship. Plenty of time at Giant's Causeway and enjoyable ride through the beautiful coast with ample stops for viewing & rest. Lovely lunch at Harry's. Short tour through Belfast. Our guide Lisa and driver Ciarin were very good. Would have liked a little more time to view Belfast but Lisa and Ciarin wanted to make sure we made it back to our ship. That was very reassuring.
Lisa our guide and Cieran our driver did an amazing. The tour was very informative. Our driver was very skilful both were friendly and welcoming.
This excursion went through troubles and natural beauty. The absolute best part was Troy, our driver and guide. If you are ever lucky enough to experience his excursion you will be a very lucky person. He is one of a kind Best of the Best!!!
Troy was exceptional. Full narration, very informational and interesting. Amazing scenery. All around lovely day. Highly recommend.
Very positive experience. Our tour guide Lisa and bus driver Nigel were a fantastic team. They even gave us a good natured prank! We took this tour as a shore excursion and everything went a planned including getting back to the ship with time to spare. Lisa was extremely informative during the Belfast City part and I learned so much about the city's past that I will never forget. Giant's Causeway was amazing and the beauty of Northern Ireland is stunning!!! If you book this tour see if you can request to be on Lisa's bus.
Tour guide was very informative. The place we stopped for lunch was very good. More just driving by and seeing things than stopping. But overall we saw lots of beautiful areas
Bad tour guide who talked only about bars that were passing by and sports, very disorganized tour, bad vehicle, In addition, we were driving an hour to a mediocre restaurant in the middle of nowhere, I guess for a swet deal that company has with the restaurant.
Great value however the guide gave very minimal info. The bus was comfortable. We stopped at a good restaurant for lunch (not included).
We booked this tour through Viator for our cruise ship stop in Belfast. This is in my top 5 of favorite excursions ever. Our tour guide Lisa and bus driver Nigel could not have been better. We gained a wealth of information about Northern Ireland along with humor and even a very funny prank on us gullible tourists! Absolutely highly recommend this as a shore excursion. The beauty of North Ireland and Giants Causeway is stunning!
Troy was a great guide! Very personable, humorous, and with great stories. We were blessed with a beautiful, sunny day to explore the North Coast. Giant’s Causeway was amazing to see.
Troy was a great guide - very personable and enthusiastic about what he does. Enjoyed the tour, especially the Causeway!
The Giants Causeway is a must see! We had so much fun climbing around. It was a windy day, but the sun was shining! We did not see the rope bridge. I thought we would at least drive by it for a photo.
We thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to Belfast and surrounding area. The drive to Giants causeway was an opportunity to enjoy Ireland’s beautiful scenery. Our guide, Stuart, was an amazing and resourceful driver, and his commentary was informative and amusing.
Very informative and the guide Louie is very knowledgeable and allows ample time to stop by the sights and take pictures; he’ll even take the pictures for you
Communication with viator was poor. We were told they would pick us up by our ship. The morning of we found out that it was a totally different terminal and we had to taxi there. If I had not reached out to confirm we would have missed it! Troy was the best though and he is the only reason I gave it a good.
This was an absolutely amazing experience and well worth it. Our tour guide Lisa was by far the best we’ve had. She was completely on top of everything and shared a wealth of information throughout the trip. Our driver Stevie was also excellent, ensuring we reached every stop and got back in perfect time for our ship’s departure. Overall, the tour and stops were fantastic, and I would highly recommend it – if you’re considering booking, definitely go for it!
Beautiful scenery with good narration. Good value for the money. More than the Causeways. Lewis kept us informed and entertained.
It was a good tour, maybe a little long. The guide Louie and the driver Tom did a great job and looked after everyone. A little bit to much time on the bus.
If you’re interested in seeing the Irish countryside, as well as the Causeway, this is the tour for you.
Our tour guide Troy is very funny and a lot of information. Belfast tour with trip to Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and the Dark Hedges.
Louis was informative and entertaining at times, but also abrupt and obnoxious at times. He gave us very bad information at Giant's Causeway. We were delayed getting there because they had to go from the pier into Belfast to pick up one group and then did a very brief (and rushed) Belfast city tour before we went out to Giant's Causeway, with no real time to see or photograph the murals and other things he was telling us about. At Giant's Causeway, Louis gave us only 1 and 1/4 hours for the stop there, but we needed almost 15 minutes just to line up for the restrooms at the start. He had wrongly told us that the entire there-and-back using the Red Trail out and Blue Trail back was 35-40 minutes, but the Red Trail alone was over 45 minutes with some stopping to take photos and walking carefully down the 162 steps and the very long trail. So we had almost no time at the Causeway itself because we were worried how long it would take to get back (turned out the Blue Trail path back was relatively short, but we couldn't see that, but the full walk took us over an hour). If Louis had told us that we could simply take the Blue Trail both ways we would have had plenty of time there. Louis had told us earlier there was a restroom on the bus but that we couldn't use it except in emergency. The tour ended quite early. There would have been plenty of time to allow an extra half hour at Giant's Causeway which was supposed to be highight of the day, so that we wouldn't have been rushed. There were a couple of photo stops to take photos of the scenery in other places, not that exciting. There was over an hour for a restaurant lunch (we went elsewhere to a coffee shop). We were disappointed that we couldn't really see Giant's Causeway properly and weren't able to walk out on the basalt due to lack of time. When we told Louis how long it had taken us to walk out and back he said he had never hear that from anyone else, but several other passengers we spoke to had a similar experience that it took that long. Elsewhere throughout the trip Louis would refer to the flags that we couldn't see — we were near the front on the left side, and our view out the front was almost completely blocked by the driver's sunshade even though it was a cloudy day, but they refused to change this.
We exited our Celebrity Cruise at the Belfast dock and turned right after exiting the port shop. All the non-cruise coaches wait in D1 to the right. Our tour guide, Lisa, told us local lore, weaved amazing tales and shared local history too. The driver, Ducky, managed to make it through incredibly narrow passages and both of them adeptly pivoted twice when we hit road closures. We enjoyed her clear voice and instructions and felt her cherry disposition added to the tour. We’ve taken two other tours in other ports, and they didn’t compare to this tour. This is a great price as well. We recommend this tour. Tip: The lunch stop is good, and there are ample bathroom breaks.
Excellent experience with great itinerary and awesome guide Louie. Really enjoyed this excursion . Highly recommended
Absolutely perfect tour! Our guide was an older retired teacher who kept every minute of our tour entertaining and educational! I could not recommend any tour more.
We enjoyed our tour guide and all of the knowledge that he shared with us. We also enjoyed the various stops and activities.
Lots of nice stops. Lisa our tour guide and Tony the driver were the best. Great driving in some difficult spots and lots of good information. The walk at the causeway was beautiful and doable for anyone in decent shape. ( no problem for a 70 year old but sweat some on the step and slopes). A good lunch stop also! (Not included)
What a spectacular day! Giant's Causeway is beautiful and was a highlight of our cruise. The bus tour guide Leeza (probably spelled differently) was the best tour guide I have ever had on any tour in any country. She spoke so clearly and made everything interesting - she used to be on BBC Radio. At Carrick-a-rede bridge, we saw nothing because it became foggy, but the weather cleared, and it didn't affect the quality of our day. I also loved the city tour of Belfast and experiencing a small part of the history or the city. Highly recommend this tour to anyone on a cruise. Well organized . I do have two suggestions though. The first suggestion for the tour company: Please add QR code signs that allow tipping. I don't carry cash and so couldn't tip, which I still regret. I would have loved the opportunity for digital tipping. Also, for customers on the tour: The portion size at Harry's (where the lunch stop is) is ginormous. If you don't have a huge appetite, I suggest sharing lunch with another person. Fabulous stops, scenery, commentary, and tour guide.
Great tour despite the weather. However disappointing end when I left my disability cushion on the coach (my fault) but despite assurances that the coach would be double checked and lost property returned to port security, it was never returned.
Don't signup tour operated by Citysightseeing! The tour guide was not good at all. We wasted hours to wait on line for bus to get down to and come up from giant causeway as recommended by the tour guide as the fastest route! Only had 5 minutes to take picture. We also can't hear the tour guide most of the time due to malfunction of bus microphone! The tour guide just ran off and left us there without showing our way once we reached each destination.
Fabulous day out. We were met at cruise port by Troy who really made the day a great and enjoyable experience. I thought the tour was just the Causeway and a tour of Belfast. However Troy made several stops for breaks and took us on the magical scenic coast. Troy offered incitful and unbiased commentary on the Belfast political situation whilst navigating the bus thru narrow streets of Belfast Protestant and Catholic neighbourhoods. I can only summarize by saying that Troy went out of his way to make this a memorable day
Lisa was a great tour guide. Davy was a fantastic driver. She was very knowledgeable and organized. Easy to find and it was an incredible value. Do not hesitate to use this company for a ship excursion in Belfast. The Causeway was amazing too, a really great day, highly recommend!!
Price good for the well organized trip only too short to stay at the cowsway destination, the rest of the trip great enjoyable
Most of the time spending time on the bus, not much to see except Causeway. It would be better if we can be dropped off in the Belfast city instead of just passing by. There’s so much to explore in the city.
