Excellent one day tour. It takes you to the best of Gyeongju, and makes it easy to access the Bulguk-sa and the Seokguram Grotto, which are located far away from the city centre. William's explanations were very informative and we appreciated his local knowledge. He is very friendly and accommodating and we very much enjoyed the tour.
Constant communication before the trip, lovely person, insightful recommendations are how we would describe our guide Sang. There were 7!of us to please, and Sang read all of us very well. Don’t miss the chance to have him guide you to his favorite restaurants and eat with him! He is also fluent in English and truly a great ambassador to his country. You would consider yourself lucky if you get to spend a day with Sang in Such a perfect place as Gyeongju!
We spent a wonderful day with Hyun! He struck the perfect balance between sharing interesting information and giving us plenty of free time to enjoy each stop. He was funny, thoughtful, and happy to answer all our extra questions. He also took us to a great spot for lunch! His English is excellent, making everything easy to understand, and he was a very careful and reliable driver. Everything felt effortless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more enjoyable day. Highly recommended!
Jade is a great guide, who has a passion for history and sharing interesting knowledge with others. He is also happy at answering different questions, so that we all have learnt a lot. The trip was relaxing and enjoyable because it was well planned. The sites are well selected for its natural beauty, cultural and historical significance. This tour is nice for someone who doesn't have a car as the places are quite dispersed and for someone who wants to learn in-depth knowledge of Gyeongju and Korean history and culture. Our tour of Gyeongju and its historical sites with Sang as our driver and tour guide was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend it to you. We got lucky in a few ways. Our group was a small gathering of really nice people that were fun to spend the day with. But where we really won was having such a genuine capable articulate and knowledgeable guide in Sang. He was really well organised (down to knowing what order to do things so you don’t have such big crowds or spend ages waiting to park). Our lunch was also very well chosen in terms of both the food and also the location. If you take this tour please say “GDay Mate” to Sang from me. His English is excellent and the sites are interesting and awe inspiring in equal measure.
The tour and guide were excellent. However, Solomon incorrectly purported that the USA policy was to oppose reunification with the North and that President Trump walked away from an agreement with Kim. Utter falsehood. Solomon needs to read the official USA policy and joint agreement with ROK. Frankly we were offended by the guide's incorrect inference and he should stick to guide talk and not venture into diplomatic matters. By the way my spouse spent 37 years in the US diplomatic corps and knows a bit more about such issues. Otherwise a good tour.
We had a fantastic day. Our guide Sang couldn’t have done more for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and looked after the group very well. He managed to coordinate everything perfectly from pick up to lunch and our visit to the museum coincided with the chiming of the sacred Emilie Bell. The whole trip was organised very professionally and could not be faulted. Even the weather was brilliant!

A great highlight tour of Gyeongju! One of the only tours with pick up in Gyeongju where we were staying. Our guide, Mimi was amazing! Really accommodating and patient with a lot of historical knowledge. She was also really helpful in bringing us to the best spots for photos and giving us recommendations for the rest of our stay on what to see and where to eat. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. We fit in a lot so while we didn't get so spent a ton of time in any one place given the itinerary, it was really great to see the highlights and suited us just fine. If you have more time, I'd recommend doing this tour earlier in your stay so you can know where to go/go back and have the context to really appreciate it with more time. Would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Gyeongju!

A wonderful highlights of Gyeongju in one day. We had Mimi as our tour guide who was so accommodating by picking us up at our hotel and even dropping us off closer to the entrance of the sites while she parked. She was very knowledgeable answering everyone's questions and even helped suggest where we should go to take the best photos. This tour is great to give you the highlights and liked that it goes a Gyeongju pick up where most tours are pick up from Busan. The only downside is you can't see some of the night views given timing so I'd suggest accounting time to do that at another time in the itinerary if you can manage it.
Sunni and Driver Choi, were excellent hosts. Sunni shared her local knowledge and took us to a number of key sites. We were not rushed and were able to get the most out of the day. Driver Choi was great and we were very comfortable in the minivan, navigating the mountain and local roads in wet weather. Lunch was excellent.

Sang was a marvelous guide. He was intelligent, informative, thoughtful, and kind. We could not have asked for a better guide. The tour took about 10 hours from our stay in Haeundae Beach, included all the stops indicated for the tour, and they were mostly very worthwhile to visit and informative on Korean history. The place for the lunch break was fine. I suppose our only suggestion would be to have a bigger vehicle. The three people in the back seat were cramped. Wonderful tour.
Highly recommend this tour and Jade as a tour guide! The tour was extremely informational and I loved how intimate it was with the smaller group. We were able to ask questions freely throughout and explore at our leisure. Jade also took the best pictures and knew all the best photo spots!
This tour was a great way to see different sites all over Gyeongju. We did this tour the day after coming into town from Seoul and it was a nice way to get immersed into the city and its rich history. Our tour guide was Jino and he did an amazing job taking us to places all over Gyeongju and providing interesting information and history. Jino went above and beyond for us by answering all our questions about the different artifacts we encountered. Jino even provided us with some dinner recommendations when we asked if he had any suggestions for places to visit in Gyeongju after the tour. Due to Jino’s helpful advice, we enjoyed a delicious dinner and our final night in Gyeongju. We definitely fell in love with Gyeongju after this tour, and it may have become one of our favorite cities this trip.
This was an amazing experience! Jino was a truly great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of each stop, as well as provided insights on modern Korea culture. He was also very kind and considerate to all on the tour. We were picked up and dropped off right at our hotel, so convenient!! I highly recommend, definitely worth the value!
Our guide Huyn picked us and everyone else on the tour up from their hotel so couldn’t be easier. Huyn gave good explanations about every site and brought some humour and facts about General Korean life into the discussion. Great to be shepherded door to door on these type of tours. We could have done with more than an hour in the National Museum but still saw a lot. Great tour, great was to get an overview of the Silla period where there is so much more history than one day can ever fill you with. I recommend this small tour group

The whole tour was excellent. Being two of just a small group of 5 made the experience all the more enjoyable instead of being like a herd of sheep! Our tour guide, Jenny was great - always friendly and considerate and very knowledgeable in sharing Korean history and culture with us. The historical sights of Gyeongju were all very interesting and gave us a brief insight into the Silla Kingdom that ruled Korea for around 1,000 years.

Overall a great day! Young is very proud of his Korean heritage and he shared his passion and knowledge with us on our small group of 6 tour. Unfortunately our tour fell on a public holiday weekend which meant bad traffic delays. Young explained our options and his reasoning for tour itinerary changes which was helpful. Thank you Young!

William our driver and guide did an amazing job explaining the Silla dynasty, while taking us to Gyeongju and the royal tombs. It was a challenging day for him, as it was National Foundation day in Korea on Oct 3, many visitors, parking lots were full, driving was a nightmare and long queues. Despite that I give credit for William for making it pleasant for us. We appreciated the small group tour size. I highly recommend this tour

This was an amazing tour of this important UNESCO Heritage Site. Our guide Sang was exceptional, taking us to the Bulguksa and Seokguram Buddhist temples, the Korean burial "pyramids" and a beautiful museum exhibiting many artifacts discovered during excavation. I can't recommend it enough!

This was one of the best guided tours we had, and we had quite a lot along the years. It was indeed a small group, four of us, just enough to fit into the van which took us along the way. A well organized tour from the pickup to the drop off. Our guide CK did a great job: without being too academic, he made a tour full of explanations non only of the scheduled points of interest, but also a journey throughout the Korean history, culture, religion, civilization and language. Picking up this particular tour was a good choice.
