This experience was incredibly informative and offered absolutely great views throughout the entire trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants to learn more while taking in the beautiful scenery.

A jewel of Silla-era Buddhist architecture, Bulguksa Temple is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of Korea’s most revered temples. Originally built in the 8th century, the temple complex showcases stunning architectural harmony between nature and design. Visitors can admire iconic structures like Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas, and intricate stone staircases that symbolize the path to enlightenment. Set amidst pine forests and lotus ponds, Bulguksa offers spiritual peace and timeless beauty.
[UNESCO Tour ONLY] Step back in time at Yangdong Village, Korea’s largest and most well-preserved traditional village designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nestled among scenic mountains and gentle rivers, this centuries-old village embodies the Confucian ideals and class structure of the Joseon Dynasty. With over 160 hanok-style homes scattered across the hills, some still inhabited today, visitors can stroll past tiled rooftops, ancestral halls, and ancient academies. Surrounded by nature, Yangdong offers a serene, immersive look into Korea’s aristocratic past. (Lunch time at own expense is included)
[UNESCO Tour ONLY] Daereungwon, also known as the Park of Royal Tombs, is a complex containing 23 tombs that were built during the Silla Dynesty. There are a number of tombs with significant historical value, but Chenmachong (Tomb of the Heavenly Horse), where the inside of the tomb is open to public, is one of the most symbolic sites.
[UNESCO Tour ONLY] Next to Daereungwon, there is the famous Hwangridan Street, trending hotspot that blends Gyeongju’s ancient charm with modern style. Indulge in gourmet street food, sip specialty coffee in hanok cafés, or shop for handmade souvenirs in this fashionable yet historic street.
First constructed in year 674, it is an artificial pond in Gyeongju National Park that is filled with lots of historical memories. The Korean government temporarily drained the pond in 1972, revealing thousands of Silla artifacts that had fallen into the lake or were thrown in.
The Woljeong Bridge in boasts a rich history dating back centuries. Constructed with sturdy stone arches, it stands as a testament to ancient engineering techniques. Spanning the Woljeongcheon Stream, this historic bridge has been a vital link in Gyeongju's transportation network for generations, serving as a tangible reminder of the city's past.

This was a very interesting and varied day trip. The guide was really good and enthusiastic. The trip stayed behind to see the last couple of sites floodlit. There was enough time at each site without being rushed round.
Guide was lousy and he really didn’t make any sense with his explanations.
Tour was really well planned and organized and Bobby Kim has been very helpful storytelling every stop and location we've been to. We travelled with a big tour bus but the group was quite small (20ish people). Timing was perfect and we stopped in a cute little restaurant (food reservation was made with a google form prior to arrival, it made it easier to decide what to eat) for lunch. Guided and free time were perfectly balanced. I strongly recommend this tour for people who are travelling and staying in Busan for a couple of days so you don't miss this historical part of the region. Last but not least I think the price for the whole experience is really worth it!
We did the tour on Nov 3 with Bobby Kim. Bobby was amazing and he was an awesome guide and answered all our questions. We didn’t feel rushed and it was a memorable day. There was a little girl on the tour who followed Bobby around all day and he made her feel included and special. I would highly recommend this tour.
Had a great time on this trip thanks to our incredible guide Bobby Kim! Learnt a lot today and would totally recommend this day trip.
Mr. Bobby Kim was an amazing tour guide! We took the tour on Nov. 3rd. He was very kind and very knowledgeable. He made sure that everyone could hear, see, and get great photos! He had great local recommendations and told great folk tales that are very memorable! I highly recommend Mr. Bobby Kim!!!
Great day tour! We went on Nov 3rd with guide Bobby Kim. Bobby was a wonderful guide, setting the pace for all participants ability, providing frequent appropriate communication, and offering timely tidbits of the sites.
Bobby Kim is an amazing tour guide and took us around this tour. He did an amazing job and taught us so much. I would highly recommend him and this tour especially for English speaking individuals!
Bobby Kim, best advisor! A trip to explore Gyeongju 👌
We had an amazing day in Gyeongju with our guide M J. She was super friendly, informative, and professional. The tour was very well organized, and educational, and we visited beautiful sites in Gyeongju. Highly recommended.
This tour has a busy itinerary and takes you to far away places you may not otherwise visit. The guide was good and kept us on schedule. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate - it rained the entire day, which dampened the experience. I'm sure it it much better in dryer weather.
An absolutely fantastic experience! This tour was the perfect way to explore Gyeongju’s incredible UNESCO World Heritage sites. The sights were breathtaking, the history fascinating, and everything was wonderfully organized. Our guide Anthony was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, making the entire day both fun and memorable. Really enjoyed conversations with him giving more context and tips. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Busan. It was truly a highlight of our trip!
Christina was the perfect guide—friendly and very attentive. We had a wonderful day with her. We would love to do it again.
Our guide for the day was Christina. She messaged us a day in advance to confirm the meeting location and also gave us the option to meet at other locations if we preferred. We boarded the bus at Busan Station, and the meeting spot was very easy to find. The bus ride was about 1.5 hours and was comfortable for a group of around 30 people. Christina gave us enough time at each location to walk around, explore, and take pictures without feeling rushed. She was also very attentive and tried her best to help everyone on the tour whenever possible. She provided good historical insights into all the locations we visited, which made the tour more interesting. Christina was also happy to help take pictures if needed. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend Christina if you plan to join this tour.
Daniel is a great tour guide with passionate knowledge and an authentic, endearing personality. Lots of great sites covered today. I did wish we had a bit more time at some places but given how much we saw that was understandable.
This is a well organized tour that covers highlights from the Gyeongju area. Lee made the journey pleasant and easy, and was an excellent tour guide. Schedule was well laid out and the journey was comfortable. Would highly recommend this tour to others.
Great communication from Lee, our guide. Definitely use the group WhatsApp chat to get timely communication and to make your lunch choices. The lunch at the Yangdong Folk Village was very good too. We had the grilled fish for 15000KRW. I would advise against the crab. It's a lot of work for very little payoff, as is most crab. This is a 10-hour full-day tour with many stops but each stop is very interesting and Lee did a great job of explaining every site we were at. Towards the end of the day, it was dark and we couldn't think what we would be seeing in the dark, but it did not disappoint. The Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, and Woljeonggyo Bridge were spectacular! We started the day at 10AM and ended at 8PM. Lee and our driver managed to get us back to Seoul exactly when he said they would too. Highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful tour. Our guide Lee was knowledgeable and friendly, tour ran on time and we had plenty of time to explore on our own. Highly recommended
We were picked up from the designated point on time and looked after for the full day in Busan, South Korea, the driver was safe and our guides were full of information about our destinationsand ensured no one got lost. Truly a great day thanks to all.
Such a great day led by the wonderful Sol. We were a large group and she led us to many sites in a very organized and professional way. The day was packed with sites but we never felt rushed and saw far more than we would have been able to on our own. I highly recommend this tour.
The convenience of being shuttled to each location cannot be understated. Additionally, the day is planned out very well with a good amount of time at each stop, and a good stop order to capture the most beautiful time at each. I think where the tour fell short was in providing the context that connected all the sites together. While a brief history of each site was provided, how everything linked, and the significance of each could've been better explained.
The tour is worth the money I pay for and tour guide SOL did a very good job!
I enjoyed the trip, the food recommendations and the explanation were great, thx Jake
Our guide did an excellent job. We felt lucky to have her as our guide. Always smile and spoke English well. Thank you so much for having her as your employee.
Great experience, it’s an opportunity to see temples and cities that otherwise would be hard to do, mostly if there is time limitations.
Sol went above and beyond to coordinate our big group! She was a fantastic energy all day and very good at managing our time. The tour itself was lovely. A lot of driving but worth it to get a really interesting and beautiful variety of experiences in Gyeongju.
Sol was our tour guide and she was excellent! She was informative at each stop and very clear with time frames of what time to meet. The tour was great! Lots to see and learn of the rich history in Gyeong-ju!
Excellent tour and very well organized! Sol was a great guide!
Sam is an excellent guide, giving helpful land informative background without being overwhelming. The tour covered an excellent array of historical sites and allowed ample time for exploring those sites. Easy way to see beautiful places near Busan.
Certainly lots to see and learn on this long day tour. Well crafted and guided with plenty of steps added. Interesting sights abound.
The guide Jake is really good. It was raining the whole day and he patiently explain each venue's history slow enough for us to understand. We are lucky to have him guiding us through the day.
Jake was very knowledgeable, great guide! Loved to hear the local stories about the spots we visited.
Jake our guide was amazing, funny, patient and helps you in any way you need. We learned a ton!🫰🏻🤍
Our tour guide, Lee made our Gyeongju UNESCO tour from Busan truly unforgettable! Extremely knowledgeable about the rich history, always helpful, and incredibly attentive to everyone in the group. As a huge bonus, Lee is great at taking photos and took some of our favorite shots of the whole trip. Thanks, Lee, for an awesome tour!
An awesome tour. Traditional Yongdon village, other Unescorted heritage sites. A must do tour Tomey our tour guide was great and helpful
The locations and sites were just as advertised, but the guide, Sam was a waste of space! There were two guides on the tour, one speaking Korean the other English for all other nationalities. At the start of the tour, the English speaking guide just said if you have any questions just write them on the group chat. The Korean speaking guide then took the mic and gave instructions and explanation about the day, talking for over 15 minutes. She then continued giving an overview before we got to every stop, while our guide just sat in silence. At the cultural village, we walked past a concrete path that took you to what he told us was the school. Instead we were taken down a steep earth bank to get to it! At the final stop to see the bridge, our guide took us across the grass in the dark and left us, while the Korean speaking guide took her group along proper paths to the walking stepping stones to get a great view of the bridge. This was in complete contrast to the wonderful guide we had, from the same company, the day before. Jisong had made sure we were all looked after and gave us plenty of information, giving recommendations for spots to get a good photo and even offered to take group shots for us.
This was a very interesting tour. I would say if you’re coming to Busan, this is a must see because you learned so much aboutthe history of Korea. Each and every stop was fabulous. Our guide.,Jisong, did a wonderful job educating us on that history. She took time to tell us about the ancient history and also relevant facts that occurred recently, including the Japanese burning everything down and the need to restore the historical buildings. She definitely did a great job and I enjoyed the tour. The one thing I would recommend, is to have that bus driver turn on the air-conditioning more often. He was quite stingy with the air. By the end, my husband and I were kidding that he must be paying for the fuel himself.
We had a wonderful day. Jisong Kim, our tour guide, has a very outgoing personality and turned out to be a highly professional, knowledgeable and efficient guide. Highly recommended.
Exceptionally well-run tour. Esther was a fantastic guide, I’d highly recommend her. She kept us on a relaxed (not rushed) schedule and gave us the right mix of active guiding and free time at each stop.
Vincent is a good tour guide. We took a lot of nice pictures and see many historical sites.. . . . . . .
I was allways fascinating by Silla History but never expected such an expierience!!! Under the guidance of Miss Park Sohe , begining from Bulguska Temple where she explained the ascension of Budism in Korea ,the discovery of stones used for the first printing in the world trough the ancient village , through Tumuli park where old Silla kings were buried ,the 1000 years of 3 kingdoms history became alive : I was there! An unforgetable expierience! Wow!
We started out @ 9:30am and we're back our to pick up area @8pm. It's a long day but it was good .... You can rest on the way back on the bus.
The sites you will visit are very popular and crowded. Our guide was very thoughtful and kept tack of all of us. The bus was clean had more legroom than I use see on this tour buses. I think this company takes pride in doing a good job.
Esther was a really great guide! I learned a lot of this trip. Overall an great day trip with historical context and beautiful sights.
Fantastic tour with Lee to Gyeongju amazing experience and comes highly recommended with tour guide Lee. Very well curated and amazing views and history. Please do it.
Its a very long day, pick ups and drop off are very long. You will spend 2 plus hours on that. The 5 stops were all interesting and enjoyable. The stop fir lunch was first rate.
A great deal to see in one day. Our guide, MJ, was great. Very informative and kept us on schedule! Highly recommend! John and Linda
It was an excellent experience, there was a lot to cover but it was extremely well organized and went smoothly. The temples at night were a definite highlight. Our guide, Lee, was incredible, one of the best guides I’ve had the pleasure of touring with.
Noah was a wonderful and caring tour guide. He took good care of the group and assisted our elderly grandmother wherever he could. Would definitely book again.
