We would like to thank our guide Arthur. A big thank you for his attentiveness and attention to my family and myself. An absolutely understandable level of English and an impeccable professional attitude. A very nice program. Arthur is a very nice person. I also take this opportunity to thank our driver. A big thank you for our visit to South Korea.
Jade was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about so many aspects of Korea from cultural, political, history and even today’s society and politics in South Korea. Jade is very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful tour of South Korea.
Larry was. An excellent tour guide imparting information as we toured. Traffic was extremely bad and he did a great job of navigating the mess.
Enjoyed our tour with Sunshine through the Gyeongju World Heritage sites and surrounding areas. We were shown all the sites on our list Korean style and even fit in some extra stops and a local shopping street. She topped it off by getting a local Korean BBQ restaurant to open especially for us to enjoy a wonderful and delicious dining experience. Mr. Kim also provided a pleasant ride fromand back to Busan. Thank you Sunshine and Mr. Kim!
I’m really impressed to my travel in Gyeongju, it’s real historical place in Korea. I got a good information of Buddhism with history of Silla dynasty. I appreciate that can have the best memories in Korea.
This is a must try your if you have the time. It takes approximately an hour and half to reach the place but if your history buff, you cannot miss this at all! Jade, our guide for this tour, was just amazing at explaining and answering all of our questions! If u have the time, I would highly recommend booking with Jade and enjoying the rich history of South Korea!
Lovely and memorable experience of Gyeongju with our tour guide, Mrs. Jay Song and driver, Alan. A worthwhile tour to go for!
Amazing day with a wonderful guide. We really enjoyed the temple visits and all the history from silla dinasty. Jade was an amazing guide really knowing lot of aspects about gyeongju
This tour is definitely a “must do” while visiting Busan! Our tour guide - Jade Kim was very knowledgeable, accommodating and added extras like stopping at a highway rest stop for us to customize our Korean experience. The sights and history of Korea along with Jade’s fluency in English enhanced our tour. The tour was as advertised and more - we would highly recommend this tour and endorse Mr Kim as an excellent Korean tour guide that made our visit most memorable!!
The sites seen are beautiful, definitely worth a day from Busan. Our driver and guide was Jade Kim. He was fun, kind and informative. His English is fine, I would recommend him highly.
After all, Gyeongju was the capital of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC – AD 935), the longest dynastic period in the history of Korea. I can’t say enough about our fabulous tour guide and local expert Jade Kim. He orchestrated an enjoyable, informative and first rate walking tour of everything in Gyeongju that we wanted to see. Jade picked up our gang of 3 adults at hotel Hwangnamguan Hanok Village at 9:30 am, shuttled us to each historical site in the comfort of a spacious SUV, and then transported us to the Paradise Hotel in Busan by 6:00 pm. The tour was a full day of activity, including Cheomseongdae Royal Observatory, Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Cheonmachong), Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond in Gyeongju (Anapji), Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto and Gyeongju National Museum. Although I cannot detail each of these fantastic sites in this review, we experienced it all, and at a leisurely, fun pace, including a great authentic Korean lunch. This was all possible because our tour guide Jade Kim was well organized, thorough, and has the ability to distill Korean history and culture into a great program! Highly recommended as part of any serious tour of Korea!

The tour guide Mr. Jade Kim was punctual, accommodating, knowledgeable and a good conversationalist in English. He took a lot of good photos for us. The car was comfortable and WiFi was provided. The trip was well planned and paced out. Well worth the value, Gyeongju is beautiful and not crowded.

What a great tour this was! Our guide, Jade, answered all our questions and shared a lot of the ancient history of Korea. He was able to give us a guided tour through the museum and explain what we were seeing. Very knowledgeable on history. He pointed out the highlights not to miss! Good English. Safe driver. Bring a jacket for visiting the grotto. It was windy and cold up there. Jade took us to a traditional Korean restaurant. It was wonderful! Not the same stuff we've been eating in other restaurants. We really enjoyed it! When we returned to the city he took us to a place that overlooked the city from all directions! It was so beautiful to see the bridges lit up and all the city lights!!! Such a treat!

This was an amazing experience and provided a terrific overview of the Shilla kingdom. Definitely want to return to Gyeongju again. Mr. Hong our guide was knowledgeable and professional.

We were only in Korea for 3 days/2 nights so this was an excellent day trip from Busan to discover the culturally significant Gyeongju area and learn about Korea. Our guide Cooper was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The sites visited were interesting and well explained by the guide. Lunch was a highlight.

Two friends of mine and I took this tour the second week of March and really enjoyed it. Our tour guide was Mina and she did a fantastic job.
I think the highlights were Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple. There were minimal crowds everywhere we went which made for a very pleasant experience. It was about two weeks before most of the blossoms start, but you could tell there was a tremendous, natural beauty to everything.
We ate lunch at a small restaurant near the Cheonmachong Tombs with Mina handling all the ordering. She even prepared the dish for us! The fried octopus with shrimp and ox innards was fantastic.
The entire tour itself was a little lighter on historical facts than I was expecting, but we did learn a lot about Korean culture, both ancient and modern. I would also not recommend booking on a Monday as the museum we would have visited is closed on Mondays. This shortened our trip considerably I think as the billed time is about 10hrs and we were back in about 7. Also, try to hang out at Anapji Pond until sunset when they light it up.

Great tour! We visited many interesting sites in Gyenogju and learn a lot about Silla dynasty and buddhism in South Korea. Our tour guide, Min Suk, was really accommodating, which made our tour even more enjoyable. We had a great time!
