It is one of the island's most popular tourist attractions and is renowned for its stunning natural beauty. Its rock formations are composed of large and small rocks protruding out of the crystal clear waters of the sea. Geunpo Village Tunnels Built during the Japanese occupation in the early 1940s, the Geunpo Village Tunnels were originally intended as military facilities. Today, these seaside tunnels have become a popular photo spot, especially at sunset, where visitors can capture stunning silhouette shots against the ocean backdrop. Located in Geoje, the site offers both a glimpse into history and a unique coastal view, making it a must-visit for history lovers and photographers alike.
'Hill of Wind' in Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do is called the Hill of Wind because it is said to be a hill where wind blows as it faces the sea. As a landmark of this hill, a Dutch-style windmill was completed in 2009, and it is selected as one of the best tourist attractions in Geoje, full of romantic and exotic atmosphere. The unique topography of this place is also one of the main attractions. It looks like you are on a hill in Europe. Looking out at the beautiful South Sea in the distance, you will feel open and refreshed before you know it. It is a must-see course in Geoje Island and one of the hot places.

Large coach tour with 30 odd people. The tour guide Joseph was great. Very welcoming good English speaker. Kept us all organised and on time. He also very kindly organised a vegan lunch for me at the seafood restaurant. The tour itself. OEDO is beautiful and boat trip over was fun. After lunch we stopped off at 3 places. Windy Hill, and the Quiet Beach didn't have a lot to do or see. The fortress was a bit more interesting and had great views back towards Busan. I suspect the cable car version of this tour might have been the better option.
Great day tour. Recommend strongly Weather was nice and drive was smooth. Was able to see all the attractions.
We spend a great day with Joseph. He is a great professional guide and showed us so many different corners of this stunning beautiful country. Thanks a lot!
I had a great day trip to Geoje island with our guide Kimmy. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Kimmy created friendly and comfortable atmosphere throughout the day and made sure that everyone was having good time. The Geoje and Oedo islands are hidden gems of South Korea. With breathtaking views and beautiful botanical garden it’s a must when you are in Busan. It was one of the best trips I have ever been to and can highly recommend it.
We had an enjoyable day with our guide Kimmy who took us to some beautiful and interesting places. Kimmy was helpful and informative.
This is one of the best ways to explore the countryside of Busan . The weather was not perfect but our young guide made sure we are safe .
We absolutely loved the tour! Our guide Sherry was so amazing: very caring, positive and with a lovely smile! She was really involved in what she was doing and made our trip more fun and interesting! And it was so sweet of her to give us all a souvenir in the end ❤️
This was one of the best, if not the best tour, I have ever been on. I loved everything about it, but what really made it special was the tour guide. Teo was absolutely incredible and a great guide. He was so easy to talk and made the experience extra special. If you can take the tour with Teo I absolutely recommend it!!!
This was an amazing experience I’m so happy I experienced it. Sherry did a great job being attentive and communicative with both Mandarin and English speakers. Super friendly and funny. Hands down would take this tour again. All of the locations were breathtaking. Geoje is such a beautiful island. Adequate time was given at each place. Some were a small challenge to get through as there were a few hills you had to go up and down but even walking at your own pace you’d still have enough time to enjoy each spot.
We had a great day trip to Geoje Island with our guide, Zoe. She brought so much energy and passion to our day trip. She is very attentive, and her warm personality made everyone comfortable. Plus, she is an incredibly talented photographer—she took the most beautiful photos of us during our tour. Thank you!
We had an amazing day trip to Geoje. Everything was perfectly organized, and our tour guide Sherry made the experience even more special. She welcomed everyone with a warm smile and created such a friendly and comfortable atmosphere throughout the day. Sherry gave us many helpful tips, showed us the best photo spots, and kindly helped everyone take beautiful pictures. Even the small conversations during the tour and the lunch organization were thoughtful and well managed. I highly recommend visiting Geoje and choosing this tour — it was a wonderful experience from start to finish!
We arrived as schedule and Zoe, our exellent tour guide, welcomed us cheerfully. She always paid attention to our needs, and was helpfull with taking our pictures and recommending other places to visit during our tour in Korea.
We have been in Busan before but this is our first time in Geoje Oedo Botania Island. This Geoje Oedo Botania Island Tour by Lecirt is a must try when in Busan. Allan was our English tour guide and drive for the day and he was super awesome. There was only 1 more guest beside us in the van so it felt like a private tour so best value for the money. Our guide was well informed of the history of the places we visited, assisted in taking pictures, set proper expectations and provided clear instructions. He was very friendly and a highly recommended tour guide.
The wonderful, all day excursion began (after pick up in Busan) at Maemi castle, but was highlighted by a boat trip to, and remarkable walk about Oedo Botania Island, and its beautiful gardens, sculptures, artwork and a museum detailing its founding. A day of interesting sites, walks boat ride and a stop mid-way for tasty seafood lunch. The tour was led by Shelly, with good cheer, care and local knowledge and guided our small, international group of folks from the four corners of the Globe, in English and Mandarin. Transportation was very comfortable, including pick up and drop off at one of two locations in Busan.
Our guide, Alan was AMAZING! He went above and beyond to ensure each guest had a great time! I’m physically challenged and Alan made sure I was not left out in those activities that required more of physical activity! Anyone traveling to Busan, South Korea— I highly recommend this tour!
My favorite thing about this tour was the ferry ride to Oedo Botanical gardens. It was a short trip there but o t he way back it was longer and we got to sit up top outside. The views were stunning and the breeze felt good. The gardens were gorgeous, hike the entire thing if you can. The top is spectacular! There were a lot of smaller stops as well, so yiu really got to see the island of Geoje. Our guide, Alan, was wonderful. He was so kind and helpful. He helped a lady with a cane and another who didn't speak Korean or English. Lunch was delicious and inexpensive!! This was a nice relaxing day tour away from the city.
This tour was incredible and so much fun! Our tour guide sherry was a ray of sunshine and so much fun to be around. She was so knowledgeable and the best photographer we could have asked for. She took so many photos of us and was an expert when it came to cute poses. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.
We took a full day trip with Lecirt tour company. Our guide is Sherry. She is an awesome guide, very responsive and active. One of the places we visited was Oedo Botania Island by cruise. This is a privately owned island, well manicured with plants and trees. A great place to walk and enjoy the gardens.worth visiting.
This is a full day trip and I particularly enjoyed Oedo Botania Island. It’s a privately owned island. The whole place is well manicured. Lots of walking and enjoying the plants and trees. It’s a great place to just walk and relax.
This tour was absolutely amazing—both because of the breathtaking destinations and because of our incredible guide, Yonas (Joung Hyun). The scenery throughout the day was stunning. From the serene ferry ride to the islands, to the lush, beautifully maintained gardens of Oedo Botania, everything felt like a dream. The dramatic coastal views, scenic tunnels, and peaceful walking paths made it an unforgettable experience. Even lunch was a highlight—delicious and in a perfect local setting that added to the charm of the day. What made the experience even more special was Yonas. He’s an outstanding tour guide—fluent in English, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Korea. He shared so many interesting facts not just about the tour locations, but about Busan and Korea in general. He made the day enjoyable with his great sense of humor and friendly personality, always making sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. He also went out of his way to help other guests with personalized recommendations for food, activities, and places to visit in Busan. His care and attention to detail really stood out. I highly recommend this tour—and if you get Yonas as your guide, consider yourself lucky! This was one of the most beautiful and well-organized day trips I’ve ever taken.
The tour was better than I expected ! Sherry was a lovely and caring tour guide which made the day very bright :) Thank you for your kindness. I went there solo but I met other nice people I could talk with easily ! The nature spots were so beautiful also, I recommend, especially for the 해금강유람선.
The Geoje and Oedeo island trip from Busan is an unmissable experience. These are hidden gems of south korea, small port towns, with breathtaking scenic sea, an unforgettable cruise and one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in asia. Windy hill was an absolutely wonderful and beautiful experience as well! One can catch spectacular and heavenly views of the sea and spend some time in the lap of nature. Jack is an efficient, friendly and fantastic English speaking tour guide who made this tour even more fantastic! I highly recommend this hidden gem tour and Jack and Sherry as the guides!
First time in Busan. Loved this tour. The island was beautiful. Photo opportunities in every direction. We went in February 2025. It was a sunny but chilly day. I recommend warm layered clothes with hat and gloves. The boat ferry ride was exciting. Many photo opportunities near the rock formations from boat. I recommend taking the tour in spring summer or fall to experience the full beauty of the island gardens.
The day was a lot of fun! Each spot was absolutely stunning. The Fortress, the ferry ride and Oedo Garden were really worth seeing! Simply beautiful. I went in the Moodle of November but the weather was fantastic. Sunny and picture perfect. Bada Cho was our tour guide and he did a great job driving and showing us around to each of the spots. A bit of a drive but I didn’t mind it after a great day out!
What a fun day trip with beautiful views~ Bada and Sheri were amazing tour guides, their photo taking skills are top notch :) I really enjoyed all the stops on the trip but the boat ride around the island was my favorite. Definitely book this tour!
A wonderful day. Beautiful gardens on the island and the views from the cable car were marvelous. Thankyou to Jo.
We had an unforgettable day exploring beautiful land and sea just outside Busan. Our guide Minsu was excellent, looking after all the tour members' wellbeing, and sharing his local knowledge. It would have been practically impossible to see and do everything we did without Minsu's assistance, so the tour was worth every penny.
The trip was very fine. Jack was our guide and he did a wonderful job! We visited such interesting and picturesque places!
It was a great trip, thanks to Jack, our guide. We saw a lot of wonderful places, we felt very comfortable in the car, we learned about traditions and customs and all in one, Oedo Botanica is a must, if you are in Busan.
It was a great day trip, well organized and full of amazing places. Totally recommend if you are in Busan and already seen all the major attractions.
With your kind, friendly nature, she (Sherry) had a firm grip on your large group. We were always at the best photo top at the best time. She was well prepared, tour and lunch (pre-order on request) perfectly organized. Thank you dear Sherry for this wonderful day.
