This temple is considered as the most beautiful buddhist temple in Korea, which is located right next to the sea. So it make great view with sea in Korean Traditional Temple Building!
Gamcheon cultural village has its own special beauty of the town, It is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname "Machu Picchu of Busan." Many alleys that cut through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents.
Busan Tower is a symbol of Busan that stands proudly 69 m above sea level at a height of 120 m. The top of the tower is modeled after the baldaquin of Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju. Loved by Busan citizens and tourists alike, the tower offers a stunning night view and plenty to see, such as the Statue of the Great Admiral Yi Sun-sin, the Bell of the Citizens, a flower clock and a bust of the Busan-based independent activist, Baeksan An Hee-je.
Having been remade into a cultural tourist attraction promoting the advancement of Korea’s film industry, BIFF Square has contributed to Busan’s newfound status as an international cultural tourist city. The 428 meter-long street stretching from the Buyeong Theater in Nampo-dong to the overpass in Chungmu-dong was divided into “Star Street” and “Festival Street,” and on the eve of the festival each year the “BIFF Square Ground Opening” is held on the street. During the ceremony, events such as the hand printing of famous movie celebrities and Nunggot Jeomdeung (snow-flower lighting) take place. A district such as BIFF Square, crowded with first-run theaters in a city is rare not only in Asia but Europe as well, and for this reason it holds great potential. In recent years, the square has grown into a more complex area, featuring not only movie theaters but also shops and leisure facilities, attracting growing numbers of young visitors and tourists.
Jagalchi Market, located on the shoreside road in Busan's Jung-gu, is Korea's largest seafood market, selling both live and dried fish. After the Korean War, the market solidified itself as a fish market. Most of the people who sell fish are women, so the vendors here are called Jagalchi Ajumma, "ajumma" meaning middle-aged or married woman in Korean. This market represents Busan and is famous throughout the country. Visitors can eat fresh raw fish right at the market. Even nowadays visitors can see women selling mackerel, sea squirts (ascidians) and whale meat on wooden boxes along the road outside of the market and along the shore.
Following the Korean War, refugees who fled to Busan set up stalls in order to make a living, and this was the beginning of the Gukje Market (gukje meaning "international" in Korean). The Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest markets; each alleyway is crowded with stalls, and it connects to Bupyeong Market, Kkangtong Market, and other smaller markets. The market stocks such a wide variety of goods, that you can find almost everything you need right here.
Designated as a Busan monument, along with Oryukdo Island, Taejongdae represents Busan, and is especially famous for its rock beach. Featuring its highest peak at 250 meters, there are forests of pine trees and 200 other varieties of trees. Taejongdae was named after the 29th king of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC-AD 935), King Taejong Mu-Yeol (604-661). King Taejong traveled to many places but this was the place he enjoyed shooting arrows the most. Under the lighthouse of this resort is a rock called Sinseon Rock, named after the myth that gods and goddesses came down here to relax. At this rock is a figure called Mangbuseok, named after the story of a woman who waited for her husband who had been taken to Japan. Taejongdae is also famous for the ritual of praying for rain, performed when there are droughts, and rain on the 10th day of the fifth lunar month is called the "Taejong Rain." On days with clear skies you can see Japan’s Tsushima Island from the observatory.
Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5 k m long, over a 30-50 m wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making Haeundae Beach perfect for swimming. People flock to Haeundae Beach every summer. All kinds of accommodations from luxury hotels to private guesthouses have developed in the area around the beach, making this the perfect summer vacation spot. Haeundae Beach is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. Other facilities in the area include Dongbaek Island, Busan Aquarium, a yachting dock, BEXCO, driving courses and more.
The Shinsegae Centum City Department Store is registered in the Guinness World Records as the largest shopping complex in the world. The department store has a countless number of items all under one roof. Visitors can also enjoy numerous entertainment options in the complex. Shinsegae, which opened the first department store in Korea, reflects decades of retail experience in this flagship location. Some of the various entertainment facilities available include a spa and an ice rink. Globally renowned experts such as Italian architect Claudio Silvestrin and an American architecture and design firm Callison completed Centum City under the concept of a “golden sea”. The department store has emerged as a defining landmark in Busan.

Had a full day private tour from hotel pick up to Yon-gong Temple , Haeundae Beach, Gancheon Village and Food market. The route our guide Jack selected were time-efficient and with stunning views, especially at the Yon-hong temple and haeundae beach, 10/10 scenery. And the Cultural Village were fun to explore, cute shops along the way Jack took us to. He was very kind and professional, knows the history of every place we went to, also very helpful with our additional tour spot planning, a tour that’s 100% worth it. 💚🩵🙂↕️
Our tour guide Ms. Jay S Song provided us a superb service and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a tour. Thank you so much Ms.Jay Song, you are awesome!!! Truly the best!!
Jay Song was amazing! I learned of this tour through someone at work who only had great things to say. Jay accommodated for everyone in our group of elderly parents and young children. Jay was so helpful in coming up with a personalized itinerary, and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Busan. Her English is excellent, and she is an incredible driver. I would not hesitate to book again. We saw so much in just a day.
Luke was amazing kind knowledgeable and professional took us to all the sights and explained everything we were doing and seeing. It was a wonderful day in Busan the cable car was fun and Luke was a great photographer too. Took us to the train station and helped get us a taxi to the airport. Great day
Our group of 7 had a wonderful Busan tour experience! Kassy, our guide, provided us with great narration of the various highlights of Busan. She helped me to book the capsule ride for our group pre-arrival in order to ensure it did not sell out and I simply paid her back when we connected in Busan which made it so convenient. Kassy was very patient as we had several in our group with dietary restrictions and she selected the best lunch spot for us so everyone could enjoy our meal. The restaurant was award winning with a master chef. We were very satisfied! In addition, one of our group members, my father, was elderly. She was so patient and accommodating with him. Kassy’s fun personality added to making our tour a memorable one! We would definitely recommend this tour and Kassy!!
What a fabulous day we had in Busan South Korea . Mimi meet us at the diamond princess ship and suggested some stops . Her suggestions where spot on for what wifey and I wanted to do see and tour. Mimi car is very comfortable her driving is very safe and we felt very comfortable. Started the day as tour guide with visitors. By the middle of the day it was three friends spending the afternoon together. Not only did we get to adventure and see the sights of Busan we also gained a friend. I would suggest contacting her asap if your plans call for a stay in Busan
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Julia. As a Busan native, she brought a genuine local perspective to our trip and shared insights that made our experience much more meaningful and authentic. Julia was incredibly responsive, responsible, and easy-going throughout our time together. She was flexible with our plans, listened carefully to our requests, and tailored the itinerary to suit our interests. Nothing ever felt rushed, and she always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. One of the highlights was her fantastic local food recommendations. Thanks to her local knowledge, we enjoyed some excellent Busan specialties and hidden gems that we would never have discovered on our own. Warm, friendly, and professional, Julia made exploring Busan both enjoyable and effortless. Her passion for her hometown truly shines through, and it made a big difference to our experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Busan and looking for a knowledgeable, accommodating, and personable guide. Thank you, Julia, for making our trip so memorable!
Luke was our guide for our tour of Busan, and we couldn't have been happier. He was informative, prepared and friendly throughout our experience, but perhaps most impressively, he was adaptable to the conditions of our day. It was rainy during the first day of our tour, and instead of just forcing the planned itinerary (or cancelling altogether), he came up with a handful of alternative options that ended up being some of the highlights of our trip. If you have a chance to see Busan with Luke, you won't regret it! (Also, ask him to show you his favorite Korean BBQ spot in Haeundae for dinner!)
We took a group full day Busan highlight tour with Here Korea and tour guide Jay Song. Here Korea is an extremely accommodating travel agency and promptly returned my requests for private and group tours using WhatsApp. My travel plans changed and they allowed me to pivot to different plans and different days. That meant i could fully experience the trip despite unexpected changes. I do appreciated their flexibility. They did this with professionalism and good humor. The tours were so organized, well planned , kept on schedule and an educational experience in so many ways: cultural, historical, and entertaining too. Jay Song was our female guide in Busan. She was like an “energizer bunny” keeping us going to our Busan highlight stops. But she knew when to give us potty breaks, or snack breaks and dropped us off at sights while she parked to save our energy levels. She took us to hidden gems when she could fit them into the day. She also worked well past the 8 hour day. She was pleasant, interesting person with great educational background and spoke great english. She provided additional insights into the places we visited made the tour more meaningful and memorable. I recommend asking for Jay who us a Nusan native.
We had a great day touring Busan! Our guide, Kay, was very helpful and professional. There is no way we would have seen as many neat parts of Busan without her help.
We really enjoyed Busan and had an excellent afternoon
We had a lot of fun und so much to see. Mimi was our guide and she did a fantastic job. Too bad we had limited time because the cruise ship left quiet early. Busan is such a fantastic city that I have to come back to see more. Thanks for the fantastic time.
It was the pefect day in Busan and we recommend it to 100 percent. Mimi was the best guide. We had a typical Korean lunch and loved it so much.
Mina was an excellent guide. She shared her beautiful country and food with us. She efficiently brought us to all sites we requested. She took lots of photos. 5 star!!!!!
We had a fabulous day in Busan thanks to our guide Johnny. Johnny was very frienfly, thoughtful and great company to be with. He shared many anecdotes about life in Busan, which made our day very lively and interesting. I highly recommend Johnny as a guide!
Our recent tour in Busan was absolutely wonderful, thanks to our amazing guide, Kay. From start to finish, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly flexible in accommodating our needs throughout the day. Creating a great tour experience takes preparation and collaboration, and Kay truly excelled at both. Leading up to the day, she worked closely with us to understand our interests and helped design an itinerary that perfectly balanced sightseeing, local culture, and a few hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. On the day of the tour, Kay’s easygoing personality and thoughtful approach made everything flow seamlessly. She adjusted plans on the spot when needed and made sure we were comfortable and engaged. We left Busan with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for the city, and gratitude for such a well-organized and personalized experience. Highly recommend booking a tour with Kay — she made our time in Busan unforgettable! Hopefully will see her again on our next trip to Busan.
Excellent tour, very knowledgeable and friendly guide. She was a great representative of her city and provided a great experience as we traveled around the city for over 7 hours.
My family and I had such a wonderful time in the tour for one full day. Our tour guide Arthur was really kind, friendly and really knowledgable. My boys and I truly had the most memorable time. Thank you!
The tour was great. It was certainly a jam packed itinerary. Our guide, Mimi, was very nice and spoke English well. She was very attentive and accommodating at each stop. I would use their services again and highly recommend them.
Our tour operator, Mimi, was a breath of fresh air! She filled our day with joy and curiosity. She was a very good communicator with intimate knowledge of the inner workings of Korean society and details about the points of interest we visited. She was sensitive towards adjusting to our needs and focused the tour towards our interests. We encourage anyone to use her service if you want to walk away with a smile and the feeling that you've learned things about Korea that you never knew about. Thank you, Mimi!
Amazing !! Very great day with our guide André/kevin. He was so kind and fun. Thanks a lot for this Lovely day !! We recommand !!
Our guide, Kay Seo, was amazing! She pre-ordered Sky Capsule tickets for us to ensure we had a private car, went out of her way to accommodate our vegetarian preferences & found a tremendous lunch spot. She offered a wonderful overview of Busan throughout the day. From the striking hillside temple to a wonderful trip through the fish market, we had an incredible day.
Our guide Mini was just outstanding. It was the best full day experience we have had in any country. The city was brought to life and its beauty by the passion of our tour guild Mini. I only wish I could book her for every tour we take around the world.
Definitely the best tour so far in Korea and I'm glad I did this tour! Mimi was superb and took me to the places I wanted to go. She also took a LOT of amazing pictures for me ❤️ Highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Korea.
Mimi the tour guide was a very vibrant and knowledgeable person to escort us around the highlights of Busan. The highlight was the Jagalchi fish market and seafood lunch. Mimi was very kind and helpful with my mother escorting her up and down stairs at different locations.
We had an excellent tour with Min Choi. He contacted us before the tour asking about our specific requests and preferences. He arrived on time and made sure me, my wife, and our 10 year old son were all having a good time. He took us to an excellent pork rice soup restaurant which we all enjoyed. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience.
Our group of 9 enjoyed our tour in Korea more than any other day of our trip sailing around Japan and Busan. We really lucked out with Kassy. She was well prepared and extremely knowledgeable. Her positive attitude and willingness to please made the day interesting and fun. She was the BEST tour guide we experienced booking through Viator. Her English was impeccable making it easy to understand her explanation of different sites and her answering our many questions. She complied with our every request and found a lunch spot that will long be remembered. The Bibimbog and bulgogi were delicious. Treat her well. She is just too valuable to lose.
We had a wonderful day with Kevin Anderson Yun, who showed us the highlights of Busan and even much more! He was friendly, accommodating of our needs and delightful to talk to. Thank you Kevin for making our introduction to Busan as interesting and as in-depth as it was.
I can’t speak highly enough of Mimi. I first toured with her when I visited Busan in September 2022. After such an amazing experience with her last time, i specifically requested for her to be my guide this time. As always, it was an amazing experience. We did a 2 day tour exploring other parts of Busan. We visited Seomyeon shopping district, etc . Her pleasant and friendly personality make you feel welcome and she will thoroughly immerse you in the culture and community of Busan. As an extra touch, she also helped me practice my Korean! I highly recommend Mimi and Here Korea Travel when visiting Busan.
Busan was amazing!! It's such a beautiful city with mountains and spectacular ocean views. Mimi, our highly energetic guide, took us on a 2-day overview of Busan. My favourite spots were Ahopsan Bamboo forest, seafood lunch at Jaglchi Fish Market and the all the coastal highlights (Blue Line park, Taejeongdae Cliffs). It was planned well and our group of nine aged 4 to 70 was able to enjoy the scenery and learn more about Busan. Shout out to Mimi, who catered to our requests and took very good care of us. She kept us on schedule and kindly attended to our needs. With her excellent English, she took time to introduce not only the sites but also life in Busan/Korea in general. She's also an amazing photographer! Thanks for helping our family create beautiful memories in Korea!!
My tour guide Jay was super knowledgeable, allowed for a very memorable day in Busan. Due to the scattered attraction across Busan, Jay selected the perfect order and routing to see all locations and at thr same time avoid the masses. Her in-fepth experience in Busan and super friendly nature made it a welcome and relaxing day to remember. I was very happy to have Jay as NY tour guide and generally recommend Busan to visit as it seems to be a hidden champion. I'll surely take Jay and Here Korea Travel again without hesitation
I'm a solo, female traveler and had a private, customized tour by my wonderful guide Mimi! She promptly picked me up at my hotel, and after a quick conversation about what things I was interested in seeing, we were on our way. Mimi was kind, helped take plenty of photos, and the day was paced perfectly. I really appreciated how she picked certain locations based on what she thought I would enjoy. She was knowledgeable about so much history, and also just showed me little gestures of kindness (like giving me a coin to throw into the water at the temple for good luck). Busan is a fantastic city, but not necessarily as connected with public transportation as Seoul -- having a guide to drive you to certain "hidden gems" is absolutely essential! The beauty of a private tour is that you get exactly the kind of experience for you as an individual person. Mimi was incredible perceptive and really made my experience in Busan a really fulfilling one. She even suggested things I could do the following day on my own! If you book, please ask for Mimi. Don't forget to ask her about her really incredible life and all her adventures!!
Excellent experience. Jay's guidance during the trip was outstanding. The vehicle was very comfortable. Overall it felt welcoming, engaging and time well spent.
Jones was my private tour guide. He is very pleasant and speaks English fluently. We planned the day together. I asked him to take me to Hongbeopsa Temple to see the large Buddha. It turned out to be a fascinating experience, as I could lisren and watch the Buddhist monks chants. Then we went to the famous Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, which is the only Buddhist temple next to the ocean. Then we went to Jagalchi Fish Market, the largest fish market in South Korea. Then we went up to the top of the Busan Tower to see spectacular views of Busan just before sunset. This was a very enjoyable day in Busan.
If you have the opportunity to spend a day in Busan with Sangyoung Bae (Song), don't hesitate! This was our favorite tour of our 16 day trip. Song is young, full of energy, speaks perfect English, is very knowledgable about Busan and Korea, is a great driver and made the full day tour really fun. We highly recommend this experience, especially if you have the opportunity to spend it with Song.
We were a group of 7 adults and 4 kids with a very ambitious itinerary. Our tour guide Jay was very knowledgeable with the history and culture of Busan and she made sure we ticked off every site on our itinerary. Jay also took us to a local restaurant tucked away in an alley way which we all absolutely loved including the kids! Jay was so lovely and patient with all of us and was amazing with the kids!
What an amazing couple Song and Jinee were! We learned so much about Busan and Korean history and enjoyed a wonderful tour in a lovely and spacious car. We now consider them friends. Highly recommend!!
We had so much fun and we highly recommend you take their tour! Our tour guide was named Mina and our driver was nicknamed Mr. Ri. They were awesome we got to see so much and learned so much about Busan. Mina is great with kids so if you have any kids in the group you'll be in good hands. We were able to see all the main highlights and were very happy. Mina really enjoys hosting us and showing us all the wonderful things in Busan. If you're looking for a tour where you can see the highlights and be able to see some sights off the beaten path then you'll want to book this tour, you won't regret it. One tip I have is if you have certain sights you want to see share them with Mina so she can craft the perfect schedule for you. Busan is real big so might be hard to see everything in one day but they'll do there best. Thank you Mina and Mr. Ri. We hope to visit Busan again and take your tour again to see the other awesome sights of Busan that we didn't get a chance to see.
The tour guid was very friendly and knowledgeable. The car was clean and comfortable. We ate local favorite meals, mil-mun, for lunch. It was great.
We had a wonderful tour with Willow! She was very informative and able to answer all of our questions about Busan. We saw so much, much more than if we had attempted to see the city on our own. She was also willing to fully customize our experience. Highly recommend.
Mina is an excellent tour guide! The tour was fun, insightful and very flexible. Great for a chill group
Mina, our tour guide did an outstanding job, considered all our interest and provided best information on this great place. It was an excellent experience. We are so impressed by this great country and amazed by the fantastic sites and locations we were shown.
We had a lovely tour. Beautiful sightseeing. Our tour guide was very understanding and made the perfect itinerary for us. Thank you
Mimi is a perfect guide. She very quickly understood what we wanted to see and the best way to organize the day. She gave us just the right amount of information. She is smart, sweet, and loves her city.
Our guide show us wonderful lighthouses in Busan. We especially enjoyed seeing the oldest lighthouse as well as the baseball lighthouse and soccer lighthouse as well as all of the others. Excellent tour!!!
Jay was our guide and she was amazing. If you want to book this company, please ask for Jay. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She is very knowledgeable in this business. She is also very kind.
We really enjoyed our tour around Busan with Mimi! Our trip was somewhat time constrained, since we only had a day to explore and see some highlights. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, and she managed the limited time very well to maximize what we could see (distances between some sites like the Gamcheon Culture Village and the temple are quite significant, so good time management is important). She was able to add interesting detail in her explanations and adapt things for us. We came away feeling like we got a great overview of the city.
William was an amazing tour guide! He was so patient in answering all of our questions. It was awesome getting an insiders view of Busan. Highly recommend!
I cannot recommend this tour enough (Especially our guide Mimi)! Mimi help give us a wonderful time and showed all the spots in Busan than we wanted to see.
