I had such a great time on this tour! They picked me up right from my hotel and dropped me back off afterward, which made everything so easy, especially as a solo traveler. For lunch, we chose Korean BBQ and it was really good, and we also stopped for hotteok, the sweet pancake filled with brown sugar and nuts, which I had been wanting to try. The whole day felt relaxed and easy, and I got to see a lot of Busan without having to figure everything out on my own. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The sky walk has drawn attention as the first of its kind in Korea, and for its long, curving trail. To date, the first section of the walk has been installed and measures 104 m, stretching around Geobukseom Island. When completed next February, the Songdo Sky Walk will set a new record as the longest ocean walk in Korea at 296 m in length and 2.3 m in width. The sky walk will also have a viewing platform stretching out into the water to give visitors a spectacular view of the coastline. Transparent tempered glass was also used in sections of the flooring for the walk, allowing for clear views of the waters below and giving people the true sensation of walking on water. It is positioned 5.5~8 m above sea level making it far closer to the sea than the Oryukdo Sky Walk, which is positioned 37 m above the shore, along a seashore cliff. Everyone will be able to enjoy the thrilling and exciting experience of watching blue waves under their feet.
Gamcheon Culture Villiage is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname of "Machu Picchu of Busan." The many alleys cutting through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents.
Busan’s modern movie district was originally little more than a pair of cinemas that were built following Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule over half a century ago. However, major renovations took place ahead of the first Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in 1996, and the newly transformed district was named BIFF Square on August 14, 1996
Following the Korean War, refugees who had fled to Busan set up stalls in order to make a living, and this was the beginning of the Gukje Market (gukje meaning "international"). The Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest markets; each alleyway is crowded with stalls, and it connects to the Bupyeong Market, Kkangtong Market, and other smaller markets. The market stocks such a wide variety of goods, that you can find almost everything you need right here.
The Jagalchi Market is Korea's largest seafood market. After the Korean War the market solidified itself as a fish market. Most of the people who sell fish are women, so the women who sell here are called 'Jagalchi Ajumma,' 'ajumma' meaning middle-aged or married women. This market represents Busan and is famous throughout the country. If you visit you can eat fresh raw fish right at the market. Even these days you can see women selling mackerel, sea squirts (ascidians) and whale meat on wooden boxes along the road.
We will drive you guys to the top Hwangnyeongsan Mountain is located in the heart of Busan. With an altitude of 427m, the mountain is the second highest mountain in the Geumnyeon Mountain Range. The mountain is mostly made up of andesite and the summit is relatively flat. Some parts of the mountain are also characterized by exposed bedrocks. ( We will be driving to the top )
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan. This superb attraction offers visitors the rare find of a temple along the shore line as most temples in Korea are located in the mountains. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was first built in 1376 by the great Buddhist teacher known as Naong during the Goryeo dynasty.

Viator tours are the best! Every place visited on the itinerary was amazing. My tour guide Sue and driver Mr. Joe are kind, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Steve was thorough, knowledgeable and very accommodating. A great experience all around. Thank you Steve!
Busan is an awesome city but the experience was made exceptional by my guide, Jina. She was amazing! Being a local, she knows all the cool places to take you to really get a feeling for the city. I highly recommend!
Steve was an awesome tour guide. He explained alot about each stop and gave us history. He is English is very good, which made it easy to understand and communicate. He is also a very safe driver. I appreciated that worked in time for us to ride the gondola at the skywalk. But what I appreciated most of all is that my granddaughter had accidently left her backpack in the van. When I called him he answered right away. Even though he had another to tour start soon, he turned around and brought it right back to us! I highly recommend this tour. It hits all the best highlights of Busan.
Busan is a wonderful place to visit. I wish we could have spent more time. Our guide Steve was knowledgeable and fun. He took us to the recommended sites but also added in some stops not every tourist sees! Had a great experience.
I had a really wonderful experience on this tour. Steve communicated with me prior to the tour, was very friendly, helpful and informative throughout the tour, and really gave me a wonderful tour of Busan! He went above and beyond visiting Haeundae Beach and dropping me off for a ceremony at the UN cemetery. Thank you for an awesome tour!
I recently visited Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan, and it was an unforgettable experience. The village is a colorful blend of art and culture, nestled on a hillside with stunning views of the city. Walking through the narrow alleys, I was captivated by the vibrant murals and unique sculptures that adorned the houses. Each corner of the village tells a story, and I enjoyed discovering the local artists' work. It felt like stepping into an open-air gallery. I also had the chance to try some delicious local food at the charming cafes, which added to the overall experience. The sense of community was palpable, and I appreciated the effort to preserve the village's history and culture. I highly recommend visiting Gamcheon Culture Village for anyone looking to explore the artistic side of Busan. It's a perfect spot for photography, relaxation, and soaking in the local culture! I'm planning to visit Gamcheon Culture Village from October 25 to 27, 2024, when they will be hosting an exhibition on the village's history, a photo exhibition, and various cultural events and booths. I'm really looking forward to experiencing the beautiful Gamcheon Culture Village!
Great tour! The fish market was amazing to see!! Our tour guide, Chris, was fantastic!!! Gave great explanations. Courteous!
I got to see all the Highlights (Gamcheon Culture Village, the fish market, the international market, the observatory, the sky walk, and the temple) in one day. Steve was my tour guide; he was knowledgeable and professional and easy to talk to. Great price for a full day with lots of shopping time built in.
Smelly van with AC not working well. Tour guide not enthusiastic and disengaged. I didn't learn anything about the historical sites. This tour is not worth the price. I would skip it.
Chris, our tour guide was funny, engaging, and informative. His English was excellent. We saw many sights in a short amount of time. .
Gamchron culture village. Thank you to Steve for the tour. Was informative of the sites & also gave you the option of exploring at own pace.
Busan is such a large city with so many places to visit , hiking trails, a rich culture and gastronomy. I spent most of my time hiking and had little time left to know the city/region. I booked this small -group tour with a local guide:a great experience, excellent guide. 👍👏👏 If you are into Arts and don’t mind the crowds, the Gamcheon Culture Village is an interesting spot. We visited the Fishmarket, the turtle island with a great view to the Skyline of the coast, there was an observation point to the diamond-bridge, a wow -view of the city with very very few visitors 😁..O guess this is one of the hidden spots only locals know 👌. The tour included lunch, Busan-BBQ. The van-ride through the city showed the infrastructure of the city, which really impressed me. Stephen, many thanks for this great tour!
The entire day was a lot of fun and included a little bit of everything. Mountain top views, a temple, fish market, street food, authentic Korean BBQ for lunch, one of the beaches with skywalk and view of the cable cars, and of course a stop at Gamcheon Cultural Village. Perfect if you don’t have much time to explore and need to get around quickly (some of our group were from one of the cruise ships for a one-day stop in Busan). Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable and fun and fluent in English so everything really worked out perfectly.
What I like about the tour is that it enabled us to see the many of the main sites of Busan. It's impossible to cover everything in just one day because Busan is a big city and attractions are scattered everywhere, but I think we got most of the essentials in this tour. Our tour guide even gave us a chance to see Haedong Yonggungsa close to New Year's Eve even if it was not in our itinerary. Chris is also a good, funny, and interactive tour guide.
I booked a group tour but was lucky that it turned into a private tour instead! The guide Chris was great and provided interesting commentary as we visited each location. He also provided additional recommendations and other things to do or places to visit to better experience Busan like a local. I recommend that you take this tour on your visit to Busan.
Awesome tour of West, East & Central Busan. Our guide, Steve, was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly & courteous. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend this tour.
Steve and Chris were both amazing, knowledgeable, and funny guides. They also went above and beyond when needed.
I had a solo tour with CK, who had flawless English & was willing to answer any question & chat away with me for the whole day. I learned so much & loved Busan. Would definitely recommend.
Even though it was a very rainy day and we couldn’t do everything on the agenda, we still had a great time and we saw a lot The guide was really good and we enjoyed the tour and information
Very efficient tour with a knowledgeable and personable guide (Steve). There were a couple spots that felt a bit rushed but overall good tour!
Such a great visit to Busan. I can’t believe how much I saw. All was well communicated beforehand and during. I really appreciate the knowledge of every spot we went (plus the local perspective on everything). I’d do it all again in a heartbeat.
Thank you very much to Chris ( our guide) and Mr Yu (our driver) We had an amazing day and enjoyed the tour very much, our tour guide speaks great English and is attentive, polite and lovely company. We would thoroughly recommend taking this tour of Busan 😊🙏
Steve and Chris were great!!! There was one couple in addition to myself so it pleasurable to tour Busan in a small group. The tour was very prompt, organized and it NEVER felt rushed!! I’ve had my share of tours in other countries and I always felt rushed. Lunch was great and as a group we picked a place based on their suggestions. Highly recommend!!!
Steve was amazing! It was a very fun and memorable tour of Busan. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.
This was a good tour, we were inly 2 guests in a very comfortable electrical car. Our tour guide, Steve, was very friendly and cool. It was more like a friends outing as he made us feel very comfortable. I ended up being friends with the other guest. Thank you Steve!!
A very fun tour with Steve! At each destination we got enough free time, a lot of interesting information, kind attitude from the guide (and also very funny). The lunch was the most worthwhile part because it felt very experiential and steve even cooked the meat for us. Recommended tour🌟✌🏻
If you want an energetic tour around the famous sites, ask for Steve, a local with a slight Texan accent. He is informative and even hilarious at times.
Communication was excellent and Steve was a fabulous guide. He provided plenty of information about the locations visited as well as Busan and South Korea in general. The Korean BBQ was delicious. We visited many places however we never felt rushed. We would highly recommend this great tour of Busan.
Guide Steve was wonderful. He kept us on schedule, yet we didn’t feel rushed. We so appreciated the bus experience and particularly enjoyed the lunch in the private dining area.
The most memorable part of the experience was having STEVE as our guide! He told us great stories behind the places we visited all with his unmistakable sense of humour!
Our guide, Steve, was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He also spoke perfect English which made everything easy to understand. The tour was a great overview of Busan, including cultural sites, observatories, and food locations. We highly recommend it.
Tour guode Steve is good and he knows which best spot for photography and best timing to go to certain places. Save lots of waiting time.
I can't recommend this tour enough. All the stops were interesting and I had plenty of time to explore on my own. Steve was a phenomenal guide. He provided very interesting and useful insight into Busan and life in Korea more generally. Thank you Steve!
My wife and I were in Korea for our honeymoon. We visited both Seoul and Busan. We knew we wanted to book a tour for Busan to see as much as possible during our short stay in the city. We are so happy we booked this one! Steve was an amazing guide! We were very lucky that our tour was only the two of us with Steve as our driver. We saw so many spots during the tour. For each Steve provided information and then let us explore on our own. It was so much fun. The Korean BBQ lunch was delicious as well. Steve also tailored the tour to our preference by asking if we wanted to see the cable car versus the temple. Overall, the tour is the best value because it allows you to see all the different areas of Busan and several main attractions. 100% recommend!
Pleasant and informative tour that gave us a new perspective of South Korea. The temple visit was very historical, never miss this place. Grateful to our tourist guide Steve, for allowing us to immerse in Korean culture.
An amazing experience with our guide Helena! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very flexible for the entire day.
Steve provided a great tour as he is an enthusiastic guide as well as being open and generous. Steve is knowledgeable about South Korean culture and society. As sociologists, his insights were much appreciated and allowed for a better understanding of Korea. It was enjoyable to see some of the highlights of Busan in a comfortable van with a small (5) group of convivial explorers.
Steve was amazing and also very knowledgeable. I knew the places I waited to see during my visit, but didn’t know how to see them all. Thanks for an amazing tour and a lot of laughs.
Steve was excellent tour guide and very informative about Busan. Steve’s English is excellent and we would highly recommend Steve. Thanks Steve!!!!
Tour guide Steve was so responsive from day 1 when I booked the tour. I required a special pick up from Busan station and he immediately offered without me asking. We managed to visit 5 places in a breeze. For those who only wants to take a day trip to Busan, my experience shows it’s doable!
Tour guide Steve was very informative about places we visited and gave us good time to wonder and explore byselves. Knew extra information related to areas and very friendly.
This tour was very informative and enjoyable I got a lot of it useful facts and info on the city and all the questions I had where all answered and helped to paint a better image of the city. It was also helpful to put the city into perspective on where things where and the significance of certain parts of the city has to it history. I enjoyed my time with this experience.
We covered a lot in the given time. Steve was super funny which made it more fun. He knew a lot of extra interesting facts. He was great about taking pictures for us. There was one temple closed so he made a nice last minute adjustment so we could see another one.
This was an awesome tour! Our tour guide Steve was very friendly and tailored the tour to our wants and needs. Busan itself is a very fun and colorful city to visit. I would highly recommend this tour!
It is my first time in South Korea and I was welcomed with such a nice day tour. There was never a dull moment in the van and the entire tour because our tour guide, Mr.Steve was such a fun person. Steve is awesome. He speaks English very well. He is knowledgeable of the places and events. He made sure that we'll get to see more places than just what was listed on this tour. This tour office was very responsive and they were able to rearrange my tour to fit on my schedule. I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to all who would love to visit Busan.
We had Steve as our tour guide and he made the experience awesome! Best tour guide we’ve ever had! He was fun, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and answered all our questions! Truly the best tour we’ve been on!
Steve got us up close and personal with everything skipping the walks and lines. It was amazing and he was very knowledgeable about busan as a whole
We had a great time on this tour and our tour guide Steve was a lot of fun! He picked us up at the place we were staying and did a great job of showing us the sights listed and explained a lot of the history and background of each. For lunch he took us to the restaurant of a famous chef here in Korea and it was one of the best meals we’ve had on our entire trip! We would definitely recommend this tour, it was one of our favorites!
