Amazing day trip to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and Ahopsan Forest thanks to Jesse. He is a fantastic photographer who makes you feel at ease even if you don’t know how to pose. The photos are so beautiful! He is also very knowledgeable about the places and tells you the story behind the sites so you can truly appreciate what you are visiting. He also accommodated our needs before, during and after the visits. On top of all this, he is a great guy! It was really nice to chat with him and have some laughs. Thanks for everything Jesse :) You have made our trip to Busan memorable. We will definitely book another tour with you when we come back to Busan!

Itinerary
Unlike typical temples in Korea located in the mountains, this one faces the sea, showcasing the unique charm of Busan. Capturing photos with the wide-open East Sea and the beautiful Buddhist art of Haedong Yonggungsa in the background will surely make for a memorable experience on your Busan trip.
A 400-year-old private forest with towering bamboo groves, ancient pines, and a traditional hanok. It’s a peaceful nature spot and popular K-drama filming location, perfect for scenic walks and photos.
At BIFF Street, you will have personal free time, including lunch time.
Gamcheon Culture Village is formed by houses built in staircase fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain. This lovely village is famous for its artistic and unique charm. Many alleys that cut through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents.
A glass bridge stretching over the ocean, offering breathtaking coastal views and the feeling of walking right above the waves in Busan.
This village has a sorrowful past as it started as a hub of refugees from the Korean war. Despite its sad origins, the village has been reinvented as a very famous cultural village full of art and murals painted on the houses built on the steep mountainside along the seashore. There are 14 alleys in the village and at each of them, you can discover a variety of charming cafes, workshops while always being able to see the amazing ocean view.

Booked for 4 friends. Pretty seamless and convenient. The guide , Jesse, really cares for our experience and offered options catered to the groups need. We decided to switched one of the destinations for a cherry blossom park. Highly recommend.
The East Busan Small Group Photo Tour wit Jesse was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Jesse was not only highly knowledgeable but also an excellent communicator, making every stop along the way both engaging and insightful. The carefully curated locations were ideal for capturing stunning shots, offering a perfect mix of iconic and hidden gems. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, the tour was incredibly fun and accommodating, ensuring everyone, regardless of skill level, felt comfortable and inspired. The highlight for me was the enchanting bamboo forest—its serene beauty and perfect lighting made for some of my favorite photos of the trip. This tour was more than just a photography session; it was an immersive journey through the beauty of Busan, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to capture the area's magic and culture.
David was a nice guide and photographer who took the time and helped everybody to pose. Even if you’re not experienced in posing in front of the camera, he acted out as a model and showed you what to do. David even helped you out when your shirt or hair was weird due to winds or else. He provided us with information about the locations, too. We mainly booked the tour because we wanted to see the bamboo forest and while other people are getting there photos taken you could always stroll around and explore a bit more. Therefore it was a good combination for us and we enjoyed the trip. And don’t be afraid to ask for more pictures, he will take his time (we were quite shy but others did 👍🏻)
It was a very complet trip, Jesse was very professional and he did beatiful photos. Even it was rainning, he took us to all the places and have a lot of patience with us.
This tour was amazing. It was only myself and one other person, and we had a blast. We had two guides during our tour David (김산) and Little David (영찬, I believe). Both were very kind and knowledgeable about the locations we visited. They also helped with how to pose for the photographs and were just delightful over all. Though lunch is not included, they did give us options and we decided to all eat together at a buffet. I had so much fun and it was a great way for me to conclude my time in Busan.
Had an Amazing Toyr with Jesse on the 2nd week of Nov 23. Jess our guide was very friendly and took our group of 2 to amazing location is east Busan fot photo taking. He is knowledgeable and flexible based on our preference. He helped us with poses and really make the tour really comfortable and fun. His photos are great and is fast in uploading us and sharing with us. Will definitely come again next time and recommend this tour to my family and friends! Thank you Jesse for the memorable tour! Really had a great time!
Amazing day out with David who helped with poses and produced great photos to remember Busan. Visited some unique locations that some tourist would miss if they didn't know about them. Perfect day as a solo traveler as it is hard to get lovely holiday photos of yourself. Highly recommended for anyone
Amazing tour with David who took our group of 2 people to some amazing locations that could be easily be missed in Busan. He helped with poses and made the experience comfortable and fun. Was nervous at first but as the photo shoot went on for the day l became comfortable with the experience and l now have photos from Busan to treasure.
David was very professional. Small group with a mini van and air-con. The photos are great quality and He made sure we looked our best. The places we visited were interesting and great for photos. We totally recommend it!
Ahopsan bamboo forest was my favorite place. Seeing that was a dream come true. But all the places were great. The temple and its grounds were so beautiful and the fishing village was interesting. Jesse is a great tour guide and photographer. He is patient, kind and knowledgable. We were so lucky to have found him. Plus we made friends from New Zealand on the trip. It was the best day!
This was the final of three tours that we did with Jesse over the last week in April. Ahopsan Forest was the highlight of the East Busan Small tour, a tranquil setting so close to Busan with some light hiking and great photo opportunities. As this was our third such tour, we were much more relaxed about the photos and were able to enjoy more the locations.
Been wanting to see the bamboo forest for awhile and so happy I finally got that chance! Jesse was really nice and informative and can get seen really good photo shots in!! Just a warning it does require some physical activity like steep heels so wear comfy shoes!
This is a great option if you are travelling solo and want to visit some sights whilst also finally being able to prove to your friends and family you actually went on holiday by having Jesse take your photo!! I had a fantastic group of 3 other women on the tour and it was an absolute hoot, I loved it! Jesse is very friendly and kindly laughed at my awkward jokes every time it was my turn for photos, great guy! The sights visited are a good selection, the bamboo Forrest was especially beautiful and serene. What I also loved is that is wasn’t a 13 hour day like some other tours, even if Jesse did very kindly let us run a bit long whilst we had a laugh taking pics!
The guide Jesse took many photos for us and taught us how to pose. After that he uploaded photos and also edited the chosen photos. During the day tour, he also introduced the places to us. Wish we had more time in cheongsapo and he could talk more about the place also. Thank you.
Jesse was our guide. He helped us took loads of photos and taught us how to pose. Thought can spend more time at cheongsapo instead. But overall it was okay.
Tour was awesome! Great photos and Jesse was very accommodating. Awesome couple and solo photos, we went to multiple spots we wouldnt have been able to go to on our own in a day!
A most amazing and memorable experience. Our guide Jesse was very professional, knowledgeable and paced the tour very well. Unforgettable experience. The highlights were the bamboo forest and the temple. Breathtaking scenery. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can highly recommended this tour. The pickup point was easy to find. Took the 6:00am Korail express train from Seoul to Busan, hoped on the metro to get from Busan Station to Seomyeon by 9:30. (Roughly 6 stops from Busan Station.) At the end of the tour Jesse dropped us back at the Seomyeon Exit 12 in good time to take the 15:01 from Busan back to Seoul. So pleased I made this journey. Oh, and Jesse’s photoshoot was great fun and will interest those who like to post their experiences on Instagram or BeReal. Thanks once again Jesse! FABULOUS!
We enjoyed the tour a lot. It was fun and the pics of the tour given by our guide were nice. Our guide, Jesse was the best. I highly recommend this tour.
Very good tour run by Jesse. He was prompt and easy pick up point. Impressed that he still ran the tour even though it was just the two of us. He took us to some lovely local spots to have our photographs taken. Being a bit shy in front of the camera he quickly put me at ease. Had plenty of time to look around after having a photo in prime spots and told us where to go to get a lovely cold drink afterwards. Would highly recommend as his photographs turned out lovely and he lets you pick eight to keep. Great memento of a great day in Busan . Thank you Jesse !
Excellent tour. My favorite was the Ahopsan bamboo forest. Jesse is a great photographer, he made our tour memorable, we went to several locations that had great views. His photography was a real delight. thanks Jesse!
Jesse is an exceptional photographer and amazing tour guide! Photos turned out great! If you want to see his works, check his instagrams too: @jessepark.kr and @triends.kr
Jesse was extremely accommodating and professional. He is also very patient with those who feel less comfortable in front of a camera like my friend pictured. He gives pose ideas that are easy to do and makes the process less intimidating. Also the spots on the tour are gorgeous. For those traveling without a car, this tour is an especially good option
We recommend this tour 100% ! Jesse brought us to lovely places and took wonderful photos , it was an awesome way to discover Busan 😃 the small amount of people in the group (5) allows you to discuss, get to know each other and spend a great time ! I would love to do the night photo shoot tour as well 😊next time 😄! Thank you again Jesse 🤩
He went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. We would recommend This to anyone wanting to visit some nice areas and get great photos
The tour was amazing, and the photographer was extremely accommodating of my family (they were either very young or didn’t like taking photos). It is a great way to see places that you would not normally see as a tourist. Would recommend this tour to everyone.
This is the perfect tour to explore busan for half a day. Jesse took us to places I would not be able to go as a solo traveler. This tour showed me the difference of Busan vs Seoul. You'll enjoy the nature and the history of the city 😍
Went with the wifey, and it was a great tour with Jesse. In addition to visiting the sites, the photos were superb. Jesse was also accommodating to our wishes.
This tour was great fun and Jesse has shot some amazing photos! I travelled alone and had already seen one of the sight and Jesse switched to another location which was beautiful. I highly recommend the tour to get some great memories!
Jesse gave me such a great experience on the tour. I traveled solo, so I felt like I was getting an exclusive tour. I had a great time hearing the history of each location and getting to take lots of photos.
We were on Celebrity Millennium cruise ship and only in Busan for the day. Through a variety of circumstances our day was rearranged, but as often with these things, it was all for the better! We were a group of six and went to the temple by the sea and I had expected it to be jam packed after everything I had read. It was busy, but not terrible. And it was beautiful, well worth seeing and not far from the port. Really enjoyed seeing all the stalls on the way down and tried one of those donuts filled with nuts and honey on the way out. Then we went to Gamcheon Traditional Village - colourful, fun, quirky paintings on the buildings and great views. Had my first Bubble Tea there! Then to the markets to see all kinds of food, clothes, souvenirs, food! Jesse took us for a traditional Korean lunch that was really good to try and made me feel like a local in this little place with formica tables. Then we hit the Skywalk and finally a great place for a wonderful overview of Busan reached via a narrow road where you had NO idea how the cars managed to pass each other. When we were at the temple, one of our group had said he wanted the Buddha wooden prayer beads, but they were 50 won. Just as we were heading back to the ship, Jesse pulled over and ran into this little shop as he thought it carried these beads, so we were able to get them for 10 won! Loved that Jesse had the car that fit all of us and that he was such a lovely tour guide. I do agree it would have been good for Jesse to have a mic in the car as those at the very back couldn’t always hear him. And Jesse’s English is very good due to having spent two years in New Zealand. We teased him if one of us didn’t quite understand something and said it was his Kiwi accent! I didn’t organise any of this, but Pam, who did, said Jesse was very responsive with his emails and gave her great confidence in the whole system. Thanks, Jesse, for a fabulous day!
It was truly an amazing experience! Likely that day the weather was quite good and the group wasn't too big so I could fully enjoy the trip. I got to see beautiful places and landscapes thanks to Jun, our awesome, good looking Korean guide for the day, who kindly accommodated everyone's needs! We had a lot of fun! Highly recommended if you want to get too see beautiful places here in Busan!!!
Quite an experience. A tour, a personalized photo report, it has it all. We had a great time, the most attentive guide could not have been. I highly recommend it. In addition to the fact that the locations, being somewhat remote, many people will be missing it and it is totally worth it.
Really recommended, we enjoyed it a lot, it's not just taking the photo but living a different experience, David is always friendly and knows the history of each place as well as an excellent disposition
Small group activity, which allows to get to know the other participants and why not meet again during the rest of the stay (to do rather at the beginning of the stay if that is the objective). The different places are pretty. On the other hand, it is a kind of photo shoot of you in different places and not a visit to places to take pictures. I didn't understand so I was a little surprised at the progress of the activity but if you go there to have your photo taken it's perfect. Jessi, the photographer, takes a lot of photos and then transmits the whole the next day. The activity is cheap for a shoot.
