Busan Private Tour With Licensed Local Guide

We only had a very short time window 4.5 hours) in Busan due to the cruise schedule but through great work by Leo our tour guide ee managed to do the Capsule train ride which has great ocean and cityscape views and then took us to the Gamcheon Culture Village which is great.

Felt very rushed. Was picked up in guide’s personal car. Did not have a driver and guide. Spent most of the tour time in the car as sites are spread out over Busan.

Our tour guide CK was truly exceptional! He went above and beyond to make every moment special and our experience unforgettable. His knowledge, thoughtfulness, and genuine passion for what he does made the tour so much more than ordinary sightseeing. We are incredibly grateful for the care he put into making our time in Busan memorable. He was a highlight of our trip to South Korea, and we will remember this experience for years to come. Great tour with Jake our guide. We started with the Ahopsan Bamboo Forest. We got there early and were one of the first ones in. Our guide took some great pictures of us. Note this requires some steep slope walking and may be a little strenuous. We then went to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. This was very impressive. Jake provided much information about the temple and was very helpful in guiding us and taking pictures. He also skillfully navigated the dense traffic near the temple. Then we went to Blueline Park and rode the Sky Capsule. Jake had arranged tickets for us (QR code) in advance and everything went smoothly (we reimbursed him for the Sky Capsule ticket cost). We then had lunch at a restaurant Jake recommended near the Sky Capsule attraction. We booth had a beef hot pot which was good. After lunch we went to the APEC meeting building and saw some nice scenery. Finally, we went to Z-Millennial Cafe ( BTS connection). My wife really enjoyed this last stop as she is a big BTS fan. We really enjoyed our interaction with Jake and it was a memorable day. Highly recommend this tour.

You customize the tour based on your preferences and what you want to see. Mimi gave interesting facts and history of Korea both at the sites we visited but also as we were driving around the city. You should definitely do lunch at the fish market. It was delicious.

Our family of four (two adults, two kids) had the most amazing day with tour guide Misook and driver Hwany! We only had one day to explore Busan and Misook crafted the perfect tour for us, making sure we hit everything that we wanted to do from Gamcheon Cultural Village and Songdo Cable Car to a delicious bibimbap lunch and then Skyline Luge, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, and Sky Capsule. Misook was so knowledgeable and answered our many questions and Hwany was an excellent driver and so sweet with our kids. We highly recommend a tour with them - the day was absolutely a highlight of our whole Korea trip.

We did an 8 hour tour with a driver. Our guide was Misook and she was so knowledgeable of history and this beautiful city and she seamlessly guided us and made sure we were comfortable. All 4 of us agreed that we would recommend this tour to anyone wishing to see the best and most interesting sites in Busan.

This was a good private for our tour. The company was able to change our itinerary as needed and our tour guy was able to accommodate our last minute wishes we went to the seaside temple and the bamboo forest. It took some driving time, but we saw both in four hours. He was a great guide

We loved this tour and the fact that this can be customized to whatever we wanted to do. We wanted our tour to include sight seeing but also visiting the childhood neighborhood of our dad who grew up here in Busan and passed way 10 years ago. Our tour was very accommodating. We also loved our guide, Fiona, who was so attentive, kind, and so engaging with our kids. She made us feel like she was an old friend or family member who was showing us around town. When we went to different sights, she shared interesting history and facts about the places we visited and recommended tons of shops and restaurants. It wasn’t the type of tour where the guide is going off a script, she made it a personalized tour. Fiona was perfect. The price was also reasonably priced. Highly recommend this tour!

We enjoyed exploring Busan and visiting several of the city’s most popular attractions! From the beautiful seaside temple and colorful Gamcheon Culture Village to the scenic Sky Capsule, cable car, and suspension bridge, the excursion offered a great variety of experiences. Despite some rainy weather, it was a nice way to see the highlights of Busan in one day and our guide, Jake, took good care of us.

If you can get Art as a guide, please do. He’s a local but went to school in Texas so he’s very fluent in English AND he has a nice car. Very flexible with plans and was very happy to help with accommodating my mobility issues. We were totally impressed with Busan. It’s a not to miss. Don’t forget to purchase Korean skin care.

It was an amazing experience! Celine our guide is the sweetest girl, she explained us really well about the dishes, the market history, the culture, etc. and we had very delicious tastings! I can't recommend enough this tour, it was worth every penny and we ended up really full and happy. Highly recommend!

Our guide Cooper showed us three of the most popular venues in Busan in only a few hours as our port call was shorter than we wished. He shared with us important historical perspectives and educated us on Korean cultural and Busan history and its role in the 20th century. He was very polite and engaging. Keeping track of all 5 of us as we each travelled at our own pace so it was not an easy task. Cooper made our visit rewarding and fun.

Grace was an excellent guide. We visited the beautiful Haedongyonggungsa seaside temple and rode the Sky Capsule. She spoke English very well and has good knowledge of the area.

Tour of Busan was booked for my family of eight which included 3 kids. Jinu was our guide and he was the most attentive, kind-hearted, patient and compassionate human being. We all enjoyed him including my 83 year old mom down to my 3 year old nephew. He was so awesome! Coming to Busan was a return to the city where my mom was born so Jinu took us around her old neighborhood down memory lane which made the tour especially special and meaningful for all of us. He knows the city so well and we learned so much from him. He arrived on time in a very comfortable and clean van, and was able to get us Sky Capsule tickets the morning of our tour which was a huge plus!!! We hit several spots and Jinu was very informative about the history of Busan. This private tour is perfect because you are able to plan your itinerary and if you don’t know what you want to see or do, they can plan a perfect day for you as well. All in all, this tour was the highlight of our Busan trip and meeting Jinu was the cherry on top.

Our guide for the day, Mimi, was beyond exceptional. She was so knowledgeable about her city and made the day so fun. We only had a short time in port but she maximized our time and kept our party of four on schedule, which at times could be difficult! Her sweet nature and flexibility were so appreciated. Our tour guide, Sumi and our driver were terrific. They were very informative, showed us some wonderful sites and were fun to be with. We enjoyed our short stay in Busan immensely. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

If we could give 6 stars to Jake, we would do it. Jake was an amazing guide. He agreed to start early and organized the tour to maximize the time and minimize crowds. BK and Jake both reached out in advance to help with our day tour, and provided invaluable feedback on our activities, in what order to do them and the time to enjoy each of them. It helped us choose and plan the day. They were courteous and fluent in English. Jake arrived early and even provided a picture of where he would park and wait for us. We started with Huinnyeoul village and beat the crowds to do quiet and serene photography. We had a big day with 3 other temples and the sky capsules. Jake managed the itinerary and traffic while providing a lot of interesting information about Busan, South Korea history and culture (including movies related to the sites we visited) and Buddhism. He knew a lot about lesser known sites and was generous with his comments and also his own personal story, which was fascinating. He made the payment of the entrance fee fees easy, including coordinating the sky capsule in advance, and chose an amazing restaurant for lunch. He stayed smiling and energetic all day, and was in great shape with all the walking we did. Highly recommend Jake if you want an incredibly insightful and thoughtful guide that will make you love Busan the way he loves his hometown.
