Walking on water? Yes, please! Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory features a stunning 72.5-meter-long skywalk extending out over the ocean, shaped like a mythical blue dragon protecting the village. As you step onto the transparent glass floor, you'll feel the thrill of the crashing waves directly beneath your feet while taking in panoramic views of Busan’s pristine coastline. It’s the ultimate spot to catch the coastal breeze and snap your next viral vacation photo!
Haedong Yonggungsa is a breathtaking temple located on the coast of Busan, making it one of the most unique temples in South Korea. Founded in 1376, this temple stands out from others that are typically nestled in the mountains, as it is situated right by the sea, offering a completely different atmosphere. The temple's name, which translates to "East Sea Dragon Palace Temple," is rooted in a legend that a dragon ascended from the sea to bring divine energy to the area. One of the temple's most captivating features is the harmonious blend of the temple's architecture with the stunning coastal scenery. To reach the temple, visitors must descend 108 steps, and as they do, they are greeted by a breathtaking view of the sea. Haedong Yonggungsa is especially famous as a prime spot to watch the sunrise, with many visitors arriving early in the morning to witness the spectacular scene of the sun rising over the East Sea, casting its golden light over the temple.
This place, known as 'Hanok', is the epitome of traditional Korean architecture's beauty in Busan. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of Korean traditional houses and experience a moment where time seems to stand still, away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. In this serene setting, you can enjoy the soothing melodies of the traditional Korean instrument, the Gayageum, harmonizing with nature, providing a tranquil retreat from everyday stress. Additionally, don't miss out on the most popular drinks here – the Black Sesame Latte and the Icheon Rice Latte, each offering a unique and delightful taste experience.
The Samik Beach Apartments in Busan are a breathtaking sight during cherry blossom season, typically from mid-March to early April. Imagine vibrant, rainbow-colored apartment buildings beautifully contrasted with vivid pink cherry blossoms. The cherry trees bloom so profusely that they create a canopy of flowers, almost completely obscuring the sky. As you stroll through the area, you’ll be immersed in a sea of delicate pink petals, with the bright, colorful buildings providing a stunning backdrop. This picturesque scene is a must-visit for tourists, offering an unforgettable experience and countless photo opportunities. Whether you're a nature lover, photography enthusiast, or simply seeking a serene escape, the Samik Beach Apartments during cherry blossom season are sure to captivate your heart and leave you with lasting memories. (Cherry Blossom Season Visit Only / Gwangandaegyo Bridge Alternative During Non-Blooming Season)
This amazing suspension bridge is a true gem of Busan, South Korea, stretching an impressive 7.4 kilometers. Although the bridge itself is only accessible by vehicle, it offers breathtaking views as you drive across it, allowing you to enjoy and photograph both Gwangan Bridge and the beautiful surrounding coastal scenery. Every Saturday evening at 8 PM and 10 PM, a spectacular drone show takes place above Gwangalli Beach, which can be seen together with the illuminated Gwangan Bridge in the background, creating a magical nighttime atmosphere. Additionally, in October, Gwangan Bridge becomes the centerpiece of Busan’s largest fireworks festival, with breathtaking displays reflecting over the water.
This market originated from the fact that women who fled after the Korean War started selling fish here. Now, thanks to its size, type of sea food, and cleanliness, it has become a representative fish market in Korea. There is a famous slogan in this market. It is Oiso(come), Boiso(see), and Saiso(buy) in Busan dialect.
BIFF Square in Busan is not just a movie enthusiast's paradise, it's a vibrant hub where the allure of cinema and the excitement of urban exploration blend seamlessly. Imagine wandering through lively streets, where every step brings you closer to the illustrious footprints of renowned movie stars and directors — a South Korean homage to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But that's just the beginning. BIFF Square is also a gastronomic delight, offering an array of mouthwatering street foods that capture the essence of Korean flavors. As you indulge in these culinary treats, the buzzing atmosphere of the square, illuminated by neon lights, provides an unforgettable sensory experience. It's a place where the charm of movies meets the joy of street food, creating an experience that's truly unique to Busan.
This market is one of the largest in Asia. This is a place where so many different things coexist. Fashionable women's clothes, men's clothes, food, souvenirs, electrical appliances, cosmetics, etc. There may be nothing you can't find here.^^
It is one of the most representative places to show the hard lives of refugees after the Korean War. Currently, it has become a representative tourist destination in Busan with colorful and beautiful houses, murals, and artworks. At this place, you can delight in the flavors of "moolbangul tteok" (raindrop rice cake), "kkul aiseukurim" (honey ice cream), and "mashimello aiseukurim" (marshmallow ice cream). Indulge your taste buds with these delectable treats and experience a unique blend of textures and flavors that will transport you to a realm of sweet culinary bliss.

Great day out, exceeded expectations. JB was a terrific guide—flexible, knowledgeable, professional and personable. Great command of English and great driver too! He accommodated the ship immigration procedures and got us back to ship with plenty of time to spare. The tour was flexible enough to accommodate the poor weather while also being flexible to adjust the amount of time at each location based on our preferences. We explored Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Gamcheon Village, BIFF Square, the fish market and the Songdo Skywalk. Songdo was substituted because the planned glass walkway was closed due to poor weather). I really appreciated that he was chatty and interactive with us, providing a lot of commentary about things like evolution of the city, details about different locations we were driving by, and cultural insights. Felt like I got some sense of the real Busan. Highly recommended.
Our tour of Busan with "Thousand",a.k.a. Mr.Chun, was excellent. He is a true professional, and was able to explain the many sites and significance of each one quite clearly. He is also a very pleasant man, and was responsible for making Busan one of the unexpected highlights of our Japan cruise.

Super fun day in Busan. Weather didn’t fully coooerste as it was rainy, but still a great day. Mimi was terrific and extremely friendly. She took us to a local restaurant and food was delicious! We highly recommend!
This is a small group tour for six people which allowed us to see four different sites. The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. However, the other four members did not seem very interested in her explanations which hindered her discourse. The guide gave us free time to look at things that interested us as well as guiding us through different areas. When the four members of our group became lost, the guide was very quick to take action, to keep us with her until we found the driver and then until we found the other passengers. She ensured that we got back to our ship on time which we appreciated so much.
Finn is a great tour guide. Informative and a great driver. Took us all over Busan with a smile on his face!
Tour was well run and covered all the major highlights of Busan. Our tour guide was exceptional and was well versed in the history of the sites and the city. A fun and informative tour. Highly recommended.
The tour was as described and only having 6 people made it more pleasant than a huge tour bus. We were able to access areas that bigger busses could not access such as at Gamcheon Village. Our guide Finn was there on time to greet us. The vehicle was extremely clean and comfortable, water provided. Finn was a good driver and took us to as many spots as he could within the available timeframe. We were back to the ship in plenty of time before departure time.
Our guide, Allen was really good to show us all the great parts of Busan and then also give us time on our own. He rearranged our itinerary to beat the crowds and took pictures for us. What an amazing day!
JB was the perfect guide for this trip, from pickup at the dock to taking us around Busan in his very clean van. He gave us information on where we are going, walked with us and helped us order lunch. What more do you need in a guide, nothing, he did it all!
What a great day this turned out to be. Thanks to the other 2 couples who joined us making it a great day. Shame it rained
Our guide, Green, was absolutely amazing. The rain never stopped, all day, and at times was torrential. We were all soaked to the skin but our guide never falted and was enthusiastic, energetic, full of joy, helpful, kind, funny and just utterly brilliant from beginning to end. We all agreed that she had made our trip a fantastic experience.
We were a party of six and we collectively agreed this day was one of, if not the best, experience on a tour. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Jenny, whose knowledge and presentation was exemplary. We made a new friend today and will cherish the memories.
We had a 6 1/2 hr private tour of Busan for 6 with pickup at Luminera that far exceeded our expectations. Alan was a great knowledgeable guide that kept us engaged the whole day and worked with us on picking sites to see and recommended a Korean restaurant that we all enjoyed.
Relax and enjoy . Weather can be very changeable so be prepared. Destinations can change due to weather restrictions.
Our guide Brian was quite good and got us around everywhere that the tour promised. Honestly, we thought Busan was a pretty dull city, but Brian had lots of information and perspective, as he has traveled in Europe and in the US. His English vocabulary is fabulous and he was generally understandable, though there were a few rough moments. It was our first day on our first visit to Korea, and he shared a lot of general information that will certainly be helpful to us over the next week while we are in the country. Thank you Brian.
Very informative and a wonderful way to experience the town of Busan. We toured the area with all of the personal details shared by our wonderful tour guide
AJ was very thoughtful of our limitations while giving us the best experience in one day. I recommend him.
We had a wonderful day with our guide JB. Everything was good, from pre-cruise communication to ensuring we got back to the ship in good time. The tour itself was very informative, and we saw lots of sights. JB is the best!
Our guide Suki was outstanding. We loved this tour and would highly recommend it to everyone!
We absolutely loved our day in Busan. We saw all that was promised, learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed the company of our driver and guide, Jade. He was informative, an excellent driver and really wanted us to have a good day !
J.B. was wonderful. He made the tour very interesting and fun. He was patient and accommodating, very knowledgable!
So nice having a true local show you around and give his perspectives around his own country and city. Our guide was exceptional.
Great guide. Very informative and was always there. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to understand busan
Perfect balance of activity, guidance, and alone-time. Super driving and extra-good lunch selection.
Ask for Seb! It is a wonderful way to spend the day. Nice to go in a small group so you can see and hear everything
Seth, our tour guide, had a wonderful day planned for us from pickup to drop off at the cruise terminal. He was very easy to understand.
Our tour guide, Baek, was phenomenal, he has excellent communication skills, is very knowledgeable about all the beautiful sights we visited. A very safe driver and just made our tour so memorable! Thank you Baek!
We had a wonderful day in Busan with our amazing tour guide Greene and driver Kevin. She could not have been kinder, sweeter and more knowledgeable with excellent English. It was a perfect port day from our cruise and we were perfectly on time. We saw the highlights and the old parts and new parts of town. Thank you for a very special day and beautiful South Korea!
An excellent experience. Very individualized small (5) group. Informative. Professional. Endearing. Mimi was absolute gem. Thank you !
Thousand (our guide) was amazing Korean cafe and restaurant for lunch were awesome food and drink Korean style perfect
Great tour, Green was very knowledgeable and had a great attitude. She had many picture spots and great recommendations.
Our guide, Brian, was excellent. We were a party of 4, and paid for the 6 person tour. Brian met us at the port terminal and was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We highly recommend him with his new 2 month old vehicle. Everything was extremely clean and he escorted us to an authentic South Korean restaurant where he helped order and joined us! Thank you, Brian!
This was the best shore excursion I think we've ever done. AJ was a brilliant guide, packed so much into the day we saw everything and more. The whole family enjoyed the trip. Thanks AJ we loved your town.
Excellent experience. Explored many of the highlights of Busan. Our guide CK was excellent. He took us off the beaten track and was really attentive all day. I would recommend to anyone coming to Busan with limited time.
Had great tour with Mr Chun. We covered all the top sites in Busan
Alan was a great tour guide, he planned out our day really well to see all the highlights of Busan. He gave us the perfect amount of free time look around and shop as well!
We had a wonderful small-group English tour with just five people, led by our guide, Brian Choi, a licensed South Korean guide. I would give this tour 100 stars if I could—Brian was absolutely amazing! He was extremely punctual and greeted us right at the cruise port in a brand-new van, with bottles of water ready for us. Throughout the day, he was incredibly informative, and we learned so much about the history and culture of the places we visited, including Cheongsapo Daritol Observatory, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Café Hanok, Gamcheon Culture Village, and the Jagalchi Market/BIFF Square/Gukje Market areas. Brian also took the time to understand what we were interested in eating and brought us to some interesting and delicious local spots that matched exactly what we were looking for. It is hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our day with Brian. His knowledge, professionalism, kindness, and genuine love for Busan made the experience truly special. Thank you, Brian, for giving us such an unforgettable day and for showing us the love you have for your city!
Great tour wirh all major spots, enough time, not stressful, great support from guide. Jenny was extremely kind, even bought us some Korean Pancakes because we would have had to change money as no card payment at this market. And she spent pretty much half an hour of our freetime with me in a cosmetics shop to translate for me and explain everything. Fully recommend this company!
Absolutely loved this trip. We were met at the port as we were on a Cruise and only had a limited amount of time on shore. 7:30 - 3:15. We were transported around Busan in an air conditioned bus and both our driver and tour guide Kim were fantastic. Kim was extremely knowledgeable and we managed to see all of the main sites even in the limited time that we had and with a 4 year old in tow. Highly recommend!!
Guide communicated well in advance regarding pick up. Very punctual and excellent trip. Well worth it.
JB was just the best guide!! Very attentive, thoughtful, knowledgeable and really lovely guy. You could not find a better guide. Thank you JB!
We joined another party of 4 for this private van excursion. Baek was an excellent guide and took us safely and smoothly to the main sights of Busan. Just a pity about the sea-fog rolling in at one of the view points, but all part of the experience! We saw much more, in greater comfort and with our own personal guide than an equivalent ships tour, and at a much lower cost, too. Highly recommended.
Just got back from a full day with Green and Kevin our driver. They have a great itinerary but you can customize it to your liking. They picked us up right at the cruise terminal and we had a full day seeing beaches, Temple, fish market and so much more. Saw so much more than we would have on a cruise ship tour and a better price.
We had a fantastic tour with Green ( not sure of spelling) and Kevin as driver. They were so nice and took all over efficiently and easily. We saw so much and they were flexible with our needs too. Busan was a wonderful Place and tour was our favorite on our cruise.
Our guide Bada was excellent he picked us up at the. Cruise port, had water for us. Car was spacious and comfortable. He explained where we were going and in what order. We enjoyed all the spots and we loved Busan !
We had an amazing day exploring Busan. This was our second tour with Jason! The tour was the perfect combination of culture, history, delicious food and beautiful scenery. Some of our most notable stops were Jagalchi Fish Market, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, and Gamcheon Culture Village. It was a fantastic tour and a wonderful way to experience some of Busan's most iconic sites. Highly recommend Jason to anyone visiting Busan!
Today we docked in Busan, South Korea’s vibrant coastal city, and packed plenty into our day ashore. Suki was our guide. For me, it was a particularly special visit. It has been 26 years since she was last in South Korea, having spent a month in Cheongju when she was 15. Returning to Korea brought back many fond memories and offered a chance to reconnect with a language she once learnt. We explored the stunning Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, one of the few Korean temples located on the shoreline, with breathtaking ocean views and a fascinating history dating back to 1376. A particularly moving stop was the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea, the only United Nations cemetery in the world. The beautifully maintained grounds are the final resting place for service members from 11 nations who lost their lives during the Korean War. Walking among the graves and the Wall of Remembrance was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by thousands of men and women in defence of freedom, and a humbling moment during our visit to Busan. We then wandered through the colourful streets of Gamcheon Culture Village, often called the “Machu Picchu of Korea,” with its pastel houses, vibrant street art and winding laneways. While exploring Gamcheon, I had the opportunity to wear a traditional hanbok, a special moment that brought back memories of her previous visit to South Korea all those years ago. It was wonderful to experience such an iconic part of Korean culture again while wandering through one of Busan’s most picturesque locations. We also visited the famous Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge, taking in spectacular views across the coastline, before finishing the day at Jagalchi Fish Market, South Korea’s largest seafood market, where the fresh seafood and bustling atmosphere were unforgettable. Unfortunately, we missed out on visiting Gukje Market and BIFF Square after some of our group wanted to return to the ship earlier than the official all-aboard time. A little disappointing, but just another reason to come back and explore more of this incredible city. Busan impressed us with its mix of history, culture, coastal beauty and amazing food. A fantastic day exploring one of South Korea’s most vibrant cities. 🇰🇷🌊⛩️✨
As part of our cruise itinerary, Busan was a port of call and we decided to reserve a private full-day tour with Korea Go Tours through Tripadvisor. Jino from Colour my own was our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and driver. He shared a great deal of information about Busan and was attentive to our needs. He brought us to a wonderful restaurant for a delicious Korean lunch that really added to the whole experience. At our request, he modified the itinerary and added the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea (UNMCK) in Busan which was very touching and allowed us to reflect on Korea`s history and Canada`s participation in the Korean War. We also visited Jagalchi Market, a huge fish market with an incredible variety of seafood. Overall, a phenomenal day with a friendly and knowledgeable guide! If you reserve this tour, ask for Jino and you will not be disappointed!
