Our tour with Tom and driver, was fantastic! We saw a lot of things, lots of commentary and we felt cared for by the driver and guide. It was just us 4 on the tour, which was great. Great time in Busan :)

Itinerary
It's the land mark of Busan, where you can see the highlight scenery of Busan with Haewundae beach and Marine city! This is the place where you can feel modern Busan ! Gwangan Bridge, also known as Diamond Bridge, is Busan’s most iconic landmark. This double-decker bridge stretches over 7 km across the sea and connects Haeundae with the rest of the city. At night, its LED lights create a beautiful, colorful show over the water.
After your tour guide picks you up at Busan International Cruise Terminal, you will head to Haedong Yonggung Temple. This place offers tourists a chance to know two birds with one stone- head up for second-to-none panoramic views of the ocean against the city, and learn more about traditional Korean religion.
The UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea honors UN soldiers from 16 countries and UN aids from five countries that were killed in battle during the Korean War from 1950-1953. This serene park spreads across a grassy plain area of 135,000 square meters. Some notable sites and memorials include: Memorial Service Hall, Memorabilia Hall, two Turkish Monuments, Greek Monument, Australian Monument, British Common Wealth Monument and two ponds. The Memorial Service Hall and the Memorabilia Hall were constructed in 1964 and 1968 respectively. The citizens of Busan dedicated the Main Gate in 1966. There are many annual events held here such as April’s Tributary Ceremony of the Veterans of the Korean War, May’s American Memorial Day, June’s Korean Memorial Day, and October’s UN Ceremony Day.
Take a relaxing break at P.ARK, a stylish cultural complex on Busan’s Yeongdo Island. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or a fresh-baked pastry from the bakery while looking out over the beautiful Busan coastline. There’s no rush here. Sit back, breathe in the sea air, and enjoy a peaceful moment before continuing your journey. It’s the perfect place to rest, recharge, and take a few memorable photos.
Here is one historically rich mountainside cultural quarter. It was originally settled by refugees during the Korean War. You will see tiny hillside homes and nifty collection of clever decorative pieces installed by art students. After Gamcheon Culture Village, you will have lunch. Your guide will take you to local restaurant.
BIFF Square, Gukje market and Jagalchi fish market are close to each other, Just next to each other! BIFF Square is a lively street in Busan’s Nampo-dong district, named after the Busan International Film Festival. The pavement is decorated with handprints of famous film stars, and the street is full of snack stalls. It’s a fun place to enjoy local street food, such as sweet seed-filled pancakes called “hotteok.” Gukje Market is one of Busan’s oldest and liveliest traditional markets. It began after the Korean War and grew into a maze of shops selling clothes, kitchenware, souvenirs, and street snacks. It’s a great place to feel everyday local life and try Busan’s famous treats. Jagalchi Market is Korea’s largest seafood market, located right by Busan’s harbor. Fresh fish, shellfish, and other seafood from the sea are sold here every day. It’s a lively place to see Busan’s fishing culture up close and, if you like, to enjoy fresh seafood nearby.

If we could give Luke 10 stars we would. Arrived in Busan at beginning of their major Thanksgiving holiday so Luke had to navigate busy traffic and change the itinerary on the fly. We had an amazing day with him showcasing beautiful Busan! Take a tour with Luke!!
We booked the Cruise Layover Small Group Tour of Busan and ended up with just the 4 of us in a very comfortable 6 seater new Hyundai van. Luke was an excellent guide who spoke great English and had wonderful local knowledge. If you're a cruise passenger then forget paying ridiculous inflated prices and book this tour. We saw every main tourist spot and more. Book it. 🤩
Fast paced for my wife. Has knee problems, so hard to keep up. I could keep up, but stayed with wife
The day was perfect, Seowoo was fabulous and his knowledge was outstanding. The day went exactly as planned and we were back on board our cruise ship in plenty of time. The transport was very clean and comfortable, there were four of us and we all had plenty of room. We highly recommend this tour, it was personalised to what we wanted to see
This was a full day of events based on the time we had available from the cruise ship. Our guide, Kassi was wonderful and was very knowledgeable about Busan. We enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this tour to others.
Had a great day with Luke as our guide. He picked us up from the cruise port in time, in a lovely, modern air conditioned van. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained about all the places we visited very well. We are vegetarian and he kindly found a restaurant serving delicious vegan dishes. He kept good time through the day so we felt we had made the most of our few hours in Busan. Thanks again Luke
We had an incredible private excursion, and our tour guide Gina made the experience unforgettable! She was knowledgeable, funny, and kept us entertained while sharing so many interesting facts and stories. Gina was also incredibly flexible, tailoring the day to our interests and making sure we got the most out of every stop. It felt like exploring with a friend who knew all the best places. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, personalized, and memorable experience! Make sure to ask for Gina!
Our guide, SEB is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and gave us the best, local Busan experience. I was travelling with my elderly mum and he paid special attention to her, including getting the driver to pick us up conveniently on side roads to minimise my mum from walking on the steep, Busan slopes. His service was beyond our expectations and I really appreciate the experience he has delivered. 5 stars rating 👍🏼
Our tour guide katie was awesome! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and organized making the entire day stress-free and enjoyable. She made sure to share interesting information about Busan’s history, culture and local attractions while keeping the group on schedule without making us feel rushed. Thank you for a great first time in Busan!
Kassy was an excellent small group host! She was knowledgeable, organized, and kept our tour on track throughout the entire day. We always knew what to expect and never felt rushed or confused. Her planning and attention to detail made the experience completely stress-free. We especially appreciated knowing we would get back to the ship on time without having to worry. Kassy’s professionalism and friendly demeanor made our day even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
We were on a small group tour which was great so that you could really learn from the tour guide. Kassy was great and gave opportunities to explore or make a variation of the plan. We had a great time!
Our guide Brian was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and showed us the great city of Busan. We would love to come back to explore the city more.
Excellent trip. Guide was very good, friendly and enthusiastic.
We had an excellent tour with Kassy in Busan! She was very thorough in her explanations of the areas we visited. We appreciated visiting the UN Cemetery, the APEC sight and the walking path there was lovely!! We do enjoyed our lunch as well. Kassy was very helpful with ensuring I had a vegetarian and gluten free lunch. That was very much appreciated! The village was beautiful and the fish market was fascinating. We had a lovely time. The port in Busan is beautiful!!
This nonstop tour is packed with sightseeing. Busan is a sprawling city and it would not be possible to see all the sights included in this tour during a cruise port day on your own. Our guide, Kassy, was amazing and kept the group on schedule as we did not have a lot of extra time to waste. She was easy to understand and passionate about leading the tour. This tour group was much smaller and significantly less cost than ship excursions.
Great small tour! Luke, our tour guide was excellent, spoke perfect English, took us to all the best spots, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. There were only 4 of us on this tour so it was a real treat! My husband and i and only 2 others. The van was super clean and comfortable. Even stopped for a very tasty lunch. We had a great day!
Seb and Dean (our driver), gave us a wonderful day trip around Busan. Seb contacted us via WhatsApp in advance of us arriving at the port. He met us on time in the port terminal and we (with two other people) got into a very luxurious car. We had a fantastic trip around this beautiful city using their itinerary which covered everything we had hoped to see, and more. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and we were able to get out of the car very close to all the main sites, and we avoided the crowds from the main cruise ship trips. Seb was aware of the time that we had to get back to the port, so we had a really relaxing and stress free day out. He even treated us to some street food which was delicious. There were too many highlights to mention, we had a fantastic trip. We would thoroughly recommend this trip. Really excellent.
Our guide, Arthur, was awesome .. he was one of the best tour guides we ever had. He was very knowledgeable and kind, and took us many places without us ever feeling rushed.
We had an amazing day with our guide Aurther. He is an excellent guide & so enthusiastic about showing us the best of Busan, his English was very good & he explained everything in an interesting way. We saw so much more than we expected, the Buddhist Temple, a park with magnificent views of the city & the beach area in an affluent part of Busan. Then Gamcheon Cultural Village, which was such a delight to visit, especially with Aurther’s commentary as to the history of the village. Then the Fish Markets & International markets, introducing us to Korean street food along the way. Cannot recommend this tour with Aurther enough. Truly one of the best tour & guide we have had.
The tour was wonderful from beginning to end! Jay Song was an excellent tour guide and her fluency in English as well as her knowledge of the places we visited made for a delightful experience.
Busan is lovely and many sites to see. Our guide Jay was very informative and helpful. She gave us enough time to see everything especially as there was time contraint. The driver was good to
Mina was a great guide and kept us ahead of most of the crowds. She was informative and helpful. This tour definitely lets you see the main sights in Busan.
We are very impressed with Busan. Included in that praise is for our fantastic guide Arthur! His tour site selection was wonderful. We visited the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple that sits beautifully perched on the sea. Arthur’s translation of the meaning of the statues and Buddhist customs was impressive. He was so nice to take photos of us or show us where the best location was for us to shoot. We moved on to Dongbaek Park which is a lovely nature island setting and holds the building where the APEC Leaders Meeting was held in 2005 to advance free trade. Breaktime!! What a delicious experience Korean BBQ is! We ended our grand tour at the unique Gamcheon Cultural Village. Because of our cruise time limits we missed (by choice) the Fish Market. Arthur’s English is great. We are envious of his new car. He is a licensed guide and a very personable man. This is an interesting and extremely worthwhile tour that we highly recommend.
We had a delightful tour with Suki who shared her beautiful city of Busan. She shared her culture, the history of Korea and their experience during the Korean War. We explored the fish market, sampled the local cuisine and took in some wonderful scenic sights. Thank you for a wonderful day Suki.
This six hour tour covered five major attractions— Haedong Yonggungsa Temple by the sea, APEC 2005 site, UN Cemetery, downtown food street, and the Gamcheon Cultural Village. Guide Misook made this an unforgettable tour.
Brent was awesome! Good communicator. Nice tour from cruise terminal. Bus ride smooth. You will have a good time if you decide to select.
We visited 6 or 7 places in Busan - a very pack schedule. Our tour guide, Katy, was very informative and she managed the time well ensuring us getting back to our cruise ship terminal in time.
We had an amazing day port tour in Busan! Our guide Luke was fantastic! very knowledgeable, we learn a lot and took us to extraordinary places! he pick us up at the port and took us back on time. He is so friendly and his english is great!! We love all the places we visit and the commentaries. I extremely recommend this tour to any who is doing a cruise and wants to grasp a bit of history and culture about Busan. Definitely is a city to visit again along with Seoul and Jeju in our nearest future.
Great tour ! Our tour guide MJ was excellent very knowledgeable and helpful
An intense tour, covering a lot of ground in the allotted time. The Dragon Temple has a lot of steps to negotiate, as does the Gamcheon cultural village. All in all worth the cost. The UN Cemetery was my highlight. Gamcheon was very very crowded
Very good itinerary with visit to interesting places. Our guide Luck was excellent, knowledgeable, attentive, polite, well organized.
We went to lots of different places. Our tour guide was very nice and very friendly. She gave us lots of information where we went.
Our Tour Guide Luke with Korea Travel spoke excellent english. He provide our small group with excellent service and a great insight of Busan history and culture. We enjoyed this one day tour very much with pick up and drop off at the Busan Cruise terminal. He made sure we got through the itinerary and to return back to our cruise ship on time. Korea Travel was excellent at communicating our meeting point and ensured the guide would wait for us until our group went through Busan immigration.
Got picked up right outside the cruise port terminal. Our tour guide, Grace was waiting for us as we exit. Grace is very knowledgeable and very good in communication. Great tour, highly recommend.
Gina gave a beautifully orchestrated tour with flexibility due to a rainy day. She gave options to the group and accommodated everyone's interests.
We had a lovely time in Busan. Even though it rained A LOT, our tour guide managed to give us a good look of the city. They even got us umbrellas. They managed everything so we could arrive on time to the cruise. Helen was really sweet and patient with us. Would recommend.
Gina was a wonderful guide. Sie made us feel at home and showed us her South Korea. Thanks a lot, it was a great day. For following travellers, please don‘t believe the wheater App, take an umbrella with you.
The tour provided by Viator was everything we could have hoped for. Our guide/driver Luke was very well versed in all of our destinations and very patient with me since I have a mobility problem. Kudos to Viator.
Every stop on our tour was fascinating. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary and Gina was professional and knowledgeable. She adapted to the unforecasted rain, kept everyone as dry as possible and got us back to the ship on time.
This is a high activity tour but we'll worth the steps and hills. The sites were busy, as expected at popular tourist spots. Lunch at the market with Korean specialties was excellent. Our guide, Gina, was fun and very helpful, and knowledgeable about Busan's history.
Luke was a fantastic guide in Busan. He showed us the main sites of interest and was very knowledgeable about each.
Our tour guide, Johnny, a young man with many talents. He is an extremely nice, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable & professional. We really enjoyed having him as our tour guide.
Austin was a great guide--knowledgeable and friendly. The tour start time adjusted based on when our ship docked which was much appreciated. We only had a total of five persons including our guide in the car so we were able to adjust our itinerary as necessary and park easily. Austin gave us excellent lunch options and shopping opportunities. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who needs a shore excursion.
This is a great tour of Busan. Our guide Gina was so friendly, informative, and accommodating. Highly recommend!
I reserve a small group tour for our 8 people. But Here Korea Travel send a 17 people middle size bus and ask us to share with other people. We are not satisfied.
This tour is an energetic sampler of old and new Busan. We enjoyed the temple and the visit to the fish market the best. Our guide Kassy was enthusiastic, fun and charming. She was flexible and accommodating and got in touch with us directly about changes to our schedule caused by our cruise ships delay arriving in port. Highly recommended tour for those willing to walk up inclines and steps at the temple, in the park and around town.
With limited time in Busan, this tour covered 4 major sites. Kassy was very helpful in explaining the sites visited and went above and beyond to answer our questions, guide us in our food and beauty shopping . A delight! I will highly recommend this tour.
A concentration of Busan in one day ! Our guide Kassy was wonderful , cheerful and full of energy and we have learned so
Kassey was a wonderful guide who had knowledge of her country. She shared a vast amount of information as toured. The entire tour was my favorite. Everything you would want to see while in port for just a day. Each stop was just enough time to encounter the site. We were back onboard the ship in plenty of time before we set sail.
