This was a great day. We had drivers pick us up at our hotel and drop us off at train station. We took the KTX to Busan, about 3 hours where Young (our tour guide) picked us up and showed us many beautiful and historical sights in Busan. She later delivered us safely back to the train and we were again picked up in Seoul and taken back to our hotel. Very nice tour.

It is Korea's largest seafood market. After the Korean War, the market solidified itself as a fish market. This market represents Busan and is famous throughout the country. If you visit you can eat fresh raw fish right at the market.
Gamcheon was a refuge to many people fleeing to Busan during the Korean War. The creative urban regeneration project started in 2010 and the success of the project attracts 1,400,000 Korean and foreign tourists to the village annually. It's earning this village the nickname of "Machu Picchu of Busan."
It is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5km long, over a 30~50m wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making Haeundae Beach perfect for swimming.
It is situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan. This superb attraction offers visitors the rare find of a temple along the shore line; most temples in Korea are located in the mountains.
It is translated into Camellia which is growing in islands of southern provinces and southern coastal area of Korea blossoming around March., of which the leaves are thick and glossy maintaining dark green colour through 4 seasons. There is Nurimaru APEC house, around three-story building exclusively built for the final summit meeting for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference in the island.
This is just a landmark, not really the location. Choi Min-Shik Gallery Choi Min-Sik is the first-generation documentary photographer who photographed ordinary people with tough lives emanating from war and poverty. He aroused sympathy from the world by photographing ordinary people's tough lives and underprivileged people during the modernization of Busan with a theme 'Human'. His black/white photos capture the moments of people in a very vivid way. Every single one of his photographs is portraits that are Koreans in Busan streets.
The stairs and the walls in this village are different from what you normally see. They are all tombstones. That's why the village is called Tombstone culture village. People began living here in tents since 1951. When it became more settled, the tents became too small, so people began building on top of Japanese graves. People think of the ocean what it comes to Busan, but Busan is also a city of mountains. From Ami-dong, the entire city of Busan can be seen.

From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. We were picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to the train station. Our driver explained what to do when we came back this evening to get back to our hotel and the took us to our seats. When we got to Busan, Mira met us as we got off the train. She was so welcoming and friendly and as we began talking, I explained to her that I am a Korean adoptee - born in Busan and this was my first time to Busan since then. She made this special day absolutely unforgettable. She showed us around and gave us time to take it all in. She never made us feel rushed and she took so many pictures for us! One of the coolest parts for us was at the Jalgachi Market - eating lunch and then walking around after - so glad we waited til we were in Busan to buy hotteok! Honestly Mira made us feel so comfortable throughout the day, on our way back to Seoul, my husband and I discussed how we felt like we were spending the day visiting with a friend. 미라, 감사합니다!
Young was, without a doubt, the best tour guide I could have asked for! I booked a private tour from Seoul to Busan by bullet train, and he made the entire experience seamless, enjoyable, and unforgettable for me and my friend. From the moment we met, Young was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took care of every detail, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy the journey. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights into Korea’s history, culture, traditions, and daily life that you simply wouldn’t get from traveling on your own. He was patient, flexible, and happy to adjust the itinerary to match my interests. I never felt rushed, and he always made sure I had plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and fully experience each location. The high-speed train ride itself was an incredible experience, and exploring Busan with Young made it even more memorable. His recommendations, local knowledge, and friendly personality turned what could have been just another sightseeing trip into one of the highlights of my visit to South Korea.
We had such an amazing day with Mira. She was so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. She personalized the tour based on our interests and preferences. We will definitely be back and will absolutely book again with Mira. It was great to learn about Busan from Mira. It was so helpful to have the pick up and drop off guides walk us down and onto the train.
Min was a great tour guide in Busan. She was knowledgeable and kind. She made great recommendations for sites to visit and flexible with our requests for eating, snacks and shopping. Highly recommend her in Busan!
This is a perfect private tour of Busan. At a very comfortable environment, very kind & knowledgeable guide
Very happy this tour and tour guide. She bring us from hotel to train/car/seat. At Busan, he pickup and taking care us from A to Z, always happy and smile, explain very detailed at all spots we went by, and waits into the last minute until show/bring us into the train seats. Thank your for taking care.
The staff really were efficient from hotel pick up to KTx station. Once in Busan, Mr. Choi, Eun yo( not sure of spelling) guided us and showed and talked to us about Busan history. This added more to our knowledge of Korean History which was wonderful. He was polite, friendly, and efficient. He went above and beyond helping us with food choices at the fish market which we truly enjoyed, and buying souvenirs. Food was great. I recommend this experience. It was a private tour.
I wish I was able to spend more time in Busan. A day tour wasn’t enough to see all the sites. Min, our tour guide was amazing. Highly recommend!
They picked us up at the hotel on time, took us to the train station and accompanied us to the seats inside the train 🙂 (we are seniors). Min was waiting for us with a sign when we arrived at the Busan station. She took us to all the places listed on the itinerary. She also took us to a Korean restaurant which had amazing food. At the end of day took us to train station and accompanied us to train. Overall she made us feel like family.
We had a wonderful day spent on our tour to Busan by bullet train! Our guide Mira was the best and very thankful for making this trip very memorable for our family! She gave us very detailed information of all the places we visited from Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Haeundae Beach, Gamcheon Culture Villgage, Jagalchi Fish Market, etc. and it was truly a great experience! Wanted to thank Mira for making sure we were always safe and made sure we were always on schedule to the next destination and also helped snap many wonderful pictures along the way! We really appreciated having an awesome tour guide (Mira) for our family and this made our S. Korea trip very memorable in tour Busan for the day! We would definitely come back again!
Hi, We have safely returned from our South Korea trip, and I just wanted to sincerely thank you for organizing such a wonderful experience for us. Everything was perfectly planned and managed—from travel arrangements to sightseeing. We truly enjoyed every moment, and your team’s support made our journey smooth and memorable. It was a great experience, and we really appreciate all your efforts. Looking forward to traveling with you again in the future! Thanks once again 😊 Best regards Dr tanmay khandelwal
Our family truly enjoyed the trip from Seoul to Busan and back. The itinerary covers many famous city sites, including Haedong Yonggungsa (the most beautiful temple in Korea, according to the sign we saw there), trendy Haeundae Beach, and colorful Gamcheon Culture Village. Accompanied by our kind and knowledgeable guide Mr. Brian, we were able to get a deeper understanding of Korea and its history and have some interesting and deep conversations about the country and its people. The trip was well worth it and we hope to come to Busan once again in future.
A perfect way to visit Busan seamlessly! A guide meets you at your hotel and takes you direct to the train station and right into your seat! We upgraded to 1st class and it was well worth it for the 2.5 hour journey. Our guide Jake in Busan texted us before we arrived and was right at the platform to greet us upon arrival. We hit every spot I requested and had a lot of fun! Highly recommend!
Mira made my day in Busan so special. She is warm, friendly, and really listens to what you want. I asked for a mix of food, history, and culture, and she created the perfect day—visiting Jagalchi Fish Market, Haedong Yonggungsa, Haeundae Beach, and Gamcheon Cultural Village. Highly recommend
Well organized. The driver who did the pick-up actually went into the train station with us and made sure that we were seated appropriately. Our guide Amy in Busan was excellent. She made us feel very safe and was very tolerant of our kids. She also managed time well and was able to drop somethings that our kids won't enjoy for things they would. Would highly recommend her. Btw lots of uphill walking especially the temple
Excellent tour! Beautiful areas and good historical views. Brian was an amazing tour guide. He was well prepared and helpful. Probably the best part of visiting Seoul. Strongly recommend.
Mira was a lovely guide. We enjoyed our full day tour of the highlights of Busan. I would recommend this city tour to get a great introduction to Busan. We only had time for a day tour, but we loved every minute of the day. Mira was so kind and she adapted the day according to our desires. Stacie and Eva
Beautiful place with a lot of culture and history. Sandy beaches with sky walks and lovely culture villages for a quick visit. Wonderful tour guide, Mira who was helpful and kind. Having spent a day with her made me feel so relaxed and happy. Will come again for her service. Best wishes.
Our private Tour Guide Kim was very efficient, nice, and knowledgeable. The signature blowfish soup for lunch was delicious! We especially like the beautiful seaside temple with views of the different Buddha statues, traditions, and gorgeous beach. A must see is the United Nations memorial cemetery of Korea, commemorating all the foreign soldiers who fought in the Korean War. I believe that this is a very important, beautiful, and peaceful site for visitors to Busan. Thank you so much, Kim, for an extremely enjoyable day in Busan:)
We spent the whole day in Busan with Min, and it was truly a wonderful experience. She was so kind, friendly, and attentive throughout the day, and she made everything smooth and enjoyable for us. Thanks to her, we were able to discover Busan in a relaxed and memorable way. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic guide.
CJ was an excellent guide. Considerate, knowledgeable about Busan (and lots of other subjects), and very personable. He put together a very interesting combination of sites, and took us to a great restaurant for lunch. All-in-all, a great experience
Thank you Fin, you are very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the tour very much. Busan is a beautiful city
Convenient day trip to S. Korea's 2nd largest city, Busan by bullet train from Seoul with hotel pickup. Both hotel pickup & train were on time. We appreciate that our driver wrote us cab driver instructions for our hotel return. Min, our enthusiastic & knowledgeable tour guide met us at the Busan train station, which was spanky clean. Had it not for stormy weather with rain, cold & gusty wind, the day exposure to the different parts of Busan & their historical & cultural importance would have been perfect. We had our first flavorful taste of Korean street food -- pancakes, fish cakes, etc. thanks to Min who just knew where to get it.
Great tour to see Busan highlights. Pick up at the hotel and when the train arrived in Busan was prompt. Young Choi, our guide, was excellent and very accommodating to our requests. Seafood lunch at the market was a nice experience.
We were spending a week in Seoul and decided to make a day trip to Busan. We had a wonderful time. Our guide (Mr Choi - sorry I forgot his firstname) was amazing and very accomodating. Loved the cultural village and all the locations we visited. We decided to skip the fish market so we could spend more time at other locations (we drove through it). I think a day trip was perfect for me. We saw everything we set out to see and thoroughly enjoyed the day and the bullet train ride.
Mira our tour guide was excellent. She provided a lot of good history and facts about the various places we went too. It was a long day trip feom Seoul but it was definitely worth it. We would highly recommend this tour with Mira.
Excellent coordination. Fantastic tour guide. The fish market was amazing. Fun and relaxing day. Great way to see Busan in one day from Seoul!!
We spent a day in Busan with our guide, Mira. It was a well paced tour and she drove us around to the key sight-seeing spots ending with a fabulous lunch of fresh seafood at the Jagalchi Fish Market.
Young was informative and very helpful, he also took good care of us. We had an enjoyable time in Busan and loving the vibe there.
This one day trip is doable from Seoul. Solomon was great. Cant believe how much we covered in a day. Busan needs a second visit.
Great day trip well organized and fantastic local guide CK was the best. Pick up from hotel and escorted to our seats on the bullet train in Seoul. Local guide CK met us on the platform and off we went. He tailored the day to us and our pace. Absolutely a must do if you can from Seoul.
We had a great time with our tour guide, Young. We took the train in from Seoul and only had about 8 hours in Busan, but Young made sure to show us as much of it as he could: Gamcheon culture village, Jagalchi fish market, Haeundae beach, APEC building on Camellia island, and the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple all in one day! We also particularly enjoyed the Korean course lunch at a restaurant of his recommendation. He drove us around the city all day, and we left feeling like we got a good (despite it being brief) overview of Busan. Highly recommend this tour if you only have a short time in Busan!
Amazing tour with an amazing tour guide! We did a private tour with CK, he was incredibly knowledgeable about all things Busan and Korea as well as incredibly compassionate and patient. We had voiced some of our interests in the beginning of the tour and he ended up coming up with a unique itinerary based on everything we said wanted to see and try while still giving us the option of adhering to the original plan. Would definitely recommend!
“An unforgettable one-day Busan trip! Mira was an excellent guide with smooth driving skills. She took us to all the must-see spots, including the vibrant fish market, and joined my wife and me for a delicious seafood lunch that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her friendly nature, deep knowledge, and caring attitude made the entire experience feel special and memorable.”
Visiting South Korea should include Busan as one of the itinerary, nice city, good experience. Our private tour guide Jay was very knowledgeable & professional, took us to an authentic Korean restaurant that we loved.
This is a boutique experience. Your tour guide goes out of his way to show you as much of Busan as he can, while doing his best to cater to your specific needs and wants. Our tour guide, Choi Yung, was informative and warm and made this a memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was perfect from beginning to end. After I booked this tour, I requested a seat upgrade to first class and the tour operator were able to accommodate the request because it was requested in advanced. Both Jay (pick up from hotel to Seoul train station) and Mira (Busan tour guide) were excellent in communication. They both contacted me the day before about the specifics. Jay - he was on time and was on the first floor with a sign with our name on it so it was easy to find him. While driving to the train station, he even gave us some history of the buildings around us, which I really appreciated. He helped us get some food, which was also a request communicated ahead of time and helped us find our seats. Mira - She is great. She’s accommodating. My son and husband were not feeling seafood on the day of the tour because of their stomach issues so she was able to change the plan for lunch and re-arranged the sites. She asked me exactly what we were aiming to do on the day of, see as many sites as possible or take time and enjoy the sites. I told her, maybe hit something in the middle. We discussed revising the suggested itinerary / sites and it was perfect. She was also able to guide us to our seats after the tour. Sites - we were able to picked the sites we wanted to see. I think this was successful because I did my own research ahead of time and I was very specific when I talked to Mira. We all enjoyed the sites. The tour was really perfect, can’t find anything to complain about.
We did a t 10 day Korea trip, but Busan was not in the itinerary. So, we deduced to try out the 1 day KTX trip to Busan. Not knowing what ti expect, we started with the 2.5 hrs train ride, comfortable & fast. Do carry some food, drinks. Met our guide Yong at Busan, he was very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable. Optimized our trip across the 6 locations & gave us enough time at each to enjoy & take photos. Found us a good place to eat, as one member was Vegetarian. Dropped us back at the station in time. Be ready to walk 6 miles, with some step climbing & a 15 hour haul. Overall an Excellent trip & a workout.
Excellent organization. Attention to detail. Guides speak perfect English. Tagy Travel is really easy to work with. Return from the railroad station to our hotel by car late in the evening after Busan excursion was not advertised but was quickly added at our request. Guides are flexible adjusting itinerary to our small group's wishes. We had 2 excursions, Busan by KTX being one of them, with Tagy Travel on 2 consecutive days and really enjoyed both especially compared to less than satisfying experience in Japan.
Wonderful tour! Mr. Jay met us in Busan and was knowledgeable and kind. His van was also new and very clean. We saw so many highlights of Busan and ate a delicious lunch. We were also taken to our train seats both ways. This was one of our favorite experiences in Korea. Our family truly had the best day! Highly recommend this tour and Mr. Jay!
min was very knowledgeable, catered to our interest but gave us plenty of history. Answered ALL our questions and gave us more photos of us together then the entire 12 days before the tour of our honeymoon. She was amazing. Would highly recommend this incredibly personalized tour.
After arriving with the Bullet Train, we immediately went to Gamcheon and learnt interesting facts about the population growth after the Korean War. Our guide Mr. Choi accompanied us throughout the day and even after 8 hours there were still so many things to see. We should have planned at least 2 days in Busan. Such a multi-faceted city should be the secret capital of South Korea.
Amy, our tour guide, was the best thing happened to us. We didn’t have much time so we book a day tour to Busan from Seoul. The entire team was very professional and punctual. We were informed and guided well in advance and every step of the way. We learned so much about Busan thank to Amy. She was knowledgeable, tentative and passionate. We love love it. We appreciate Amy and the team very much.
I was picked up promptly from my hotel and escorted to the train and back again that evening with Jay, after a very busy day in Busan with Solomon. From fish market to walks on the beach, to Gamcheon Tourist Village and more, it was a wonderful day.
Chanwoo was the best tour guide. He tailored our tour to our unique and specific interests such as the cafe owned by a BTS member's father, time to shop at Shinsegae, a gal bi lunch at a spot he and his family really enjoy, and still have time to visit sites such as Haeundae and Guangalli beaches and areas, but also a local street lined with cherry blossin.trees in full bloom. We will definitely book him again.
Min was one of the best tour guides we had ever been with. Very knowledgeable about each spot and very accommodating each point of the tour. Recommended some wonderful places and a very good place to eat. I would highly recommend when you book this tour as for Min.
My daughter and I highly recommend the Busan City Tour by KTX bullet train. Our guide in Seoul was friendly, informative (writing all the finer details of our round trip eg how to catch the subway to our hotel on return on an envelope) making pick up from our hotel in Myeongdong to the Seoul Station seamless. At the station we had ample time to grab a coffee & food for the train ride. The train is a great way to see the countryside and the ride seems to go so fast whilst you are passing through each province. Once we arrived in Busan we made an immediate connection with our guide Min with her greeting us in our native language of New Zealand (Māori). Min is an exceptional guide - humble, knowledgeable, energetic and patient who made the entire journey not only informative but also fun. Her positivity and enthusiasm were contagious, making every moment enjoyable. Busan was just wow, a must visit and exploring the city with Min gave us a much deeper appreciation for its history and culture. She shared fascinating insights that we wouldn’t have learned otherwise, and she tailored the experience to our interests, especially my daughter who is BTS Army taking us to Jimin's Dad’s cafe Z Millennial and the Skywalk, which made the visit even more special! Min’s passion for Busan truly shines through, and her ability to make every stop engaging and memorable is remarkable. We would absolutely do this tour again and highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable Busan experience!
This private tour is the absolute best way to see Busan and well worth the spend. Our tour guide Bonita was especially knowledgeable and so happy to accommodate our needs. Hotel pick up and escort to the bullet train made finding where to go so easy.
Jae and Kate provided an excellent experience and we had a lovely time exploring Busan. They provided service all the way from the hotel pickup to our reserved seats on the train, and Jae was a kind, considerate, and thoughtful guide who entertained us with a great sense of humour and took good care of our family's travel needs and special requests. We visited Haedong Yongusa temple, Busan Crosses the Sky Tower at the beach, had an excellent lunch and visited some historic neighbourhoods. They are overall excellent guides, well organised and professional. I would most heartily recommend him and book again if we come back to Korea or Busan - our tour with him revealed that there still so much more to explore in this wonderful and pleasant city! Busan is not just a good place to visit, but an experience that we will remember and cherish.
