We had a great tour of Busan with our guide, Han. The tour was an efficient way to get to many different sites spread out over a large area. We appreciated Han’s enthusiasm, knowledge of the area and especially his sense of humor. Han made a great day even better.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple: A Coastal Sanctuary Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is a renowned Buddhist temple nestled on the southeastern coast of Busan, South Korea. Unlike most temples found deep within mountains, this temple is uniquely situated on a cliff overlooking the East Sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. Built during the Goryeo Dynasty, this temple has a legend that if you make a wish during the day, it will come true by evening.
A cafe designed in the style of a traditional Korean hanok, set against the backdrop of a noble family’s house from the Joseon Dynasty, beautifully blending tradition with modernity. It is highly popular for its refined coffee and desserts
Ahopsan Forest [K-drama film location] Ahopsan Forest is a place where you can experience an untouched natural environment and rich ecology. The forest features a mix of bamboo groves, cypress forests, cedar trees, and ginkgo trees, as well as natural stands of Korean pine trees that are 100 to 300 years old. Covering an impressive 52,000 square meters, this private forest has been preserved for around 400 years. Many Korean dramas and films, including "The King," "Kundo," and "The Great," have been shot here.
Gukje Market [The Market of All Markets: A Living History of Busan’s Resilience] Located in central Busan, Gukje Market is one of Korea’s most iconic traditional hubs. Named "International" for its post-war roots in trading overseas goods, it was established by refugees who transformed war ruins into a bustling commercial center, symbolizing the city’s resilience. Famous for its "Meokja Golmok" [Foodie Alley] and proximity to Busan Port, the market remains a treasure trove for everything from vintage fashion to authentic street food. As a landmark featured in the film Ode to My Father, it is now a vibrant destination where historical nostalgia meets modern energy. Its labyrinthine alleys and the famous "Kkotbunine" shop offer an essential glimpse into the true pulse of Busan’s culture
Gamcheon Village [Culture Village] Gamcheon, often referred to as Korea's Santorini or Lego Village, was originally founded in the 1950s as a communal settlement for followers of Taegeukdo, a new religious movement. The village has since transformed into a vibrant cultural hub. The village's unique charm lies in its terraced houses, painted in a rainbow of colors, that cascade down the hillside. This distinctive architecture, reminiscent of Lego blocks, has made Gamcheon a popular filming location for commercials, movies, and dramas. Since 2009, a community art project has transformed the village into an open-air gallery, with colorful murals and sculptures adorning every corner. Today, visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village, stopping at cafes and shops to soak up the atmosphere.
Huinnyeoul Culture Village: The Santorini of Korea Perched on Yeongdo’s cliffs, this village is celebrated as the "Santorini of Korea" for its stunning views and Mediterranean charm. Originally built by Korean War refugees, it stands as a historic symbol of resilience. Due to its unique location, visitors can see Japan (48km away) and Geoje Island on clear days. Now a vibrant cultural hub, the village features colorful houses, murals, and cozy cafés. Its winding alleys and scenic coastal paths offer a photogenic escape, blending deep history with an artistic, peaceful atmosphere

Intensive and fun experience. Guide could answer all our questions in a really warm and nice way
Beautiful scenery, friendly staff Mr Han, disappointed with the time of the sky capsule ride, it was dark by the time we got to the station, pointless as couldn’t see anything, tickets need to be purchased by staff earlier to ensure daylight hours, apart from that ok.
Han was a nice guide, punctual, organised and friendly.
Fun tour around Busan. Saw the highlights all in one day with a small group making matters simpler. Han was a good host with lots of experience.
Excellent way to see the highlights of Busan. We were only in Busan for a few days and this allowed us to see some of the main sights. Our guide, Han, was friendly and had a lot of information to share. The group wasn't too big. Just make sure you have comfortable shoes and are prepared to walk.
Han our tour guide was great. He was very attentive to our needs. Be prepared to do a lot of walking/hiking. We truly enjoyed all of the itinerary stops and honestly wished we had more time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
Han is a very good and caring guide. Always looks out for his customers. We visited many sites in and around Busan.
The advantage of the tour is that in one day you can see the important sights of Busan that would have taken several days to travel on your own. Josh did a great job as a group leader, we learned a lpt about Busan and Korean life in general.
Mr Han is an absolutely fantastic tour guide! Friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. They made the tour fun, informative, and unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!
Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The guide was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. We visited beautiful locations, learned a lot about Korean culture and history, and never felt rushed at any point during the day. The transportation was comfortable, the itinerary was well planned, and the communication before the tour was excellent. What impressed me most was how much effort the guide put into making sure every guest had a great experience. If you are visiting Korea and want a memorable, stress-free, and enjoyable tour, I highly recommend this company. It exceeded all of my expectations, and I would definitely book with them again on my next visit. Thank you for an amazing day and unforgettable memories
I read the great reviews about this tour, booked it on Klook, and was looking forward to seeing the best of Busan with Eden Tours. In my 30 years of taking tours, I have never ever had a tour operator cancel a tour on me at the last minute just because I wanted to confirm the pick-up time. I used to work in tourism and am trained in customer service, and this was not it. I would never treat a guest so poorly. Perhaps there was another reason at play. During my communication with them, there were a couple of instances where I sensed their reluctance to have me, a solo traveller, on their tour, and they eventually used my question about the pick-up time to cancel my tour. For this review, I have referred to my Whatsapp messages with them and have quoted what was actually said to me. 1) The day before the tour, I received a message from them to ask if I would be able to postpone my tour by a day. (No reason was given). I apologised that I could not as I would be leaving Busan and asked if it was still possible for me to go ahead on the original date. They did not reply to my question directly but instead shared a photo of their vehicle which had been damaged by a rock. They replied “…We’ll just rent another car”, making it seem that a replacement car had not been rented yet. Thinking that this was the reason they’d asked me to postpone my tour, I replied “Ok let me know if you manage to get another vehicle for tomorrow” To which, they replied that they had ALREADY rented a 15-seater passenger van. This exchange left me a little confused. If they had already rented a vehicle, why did they ask me to postpone my tour, and why did they initially say “We’ll just rent another car”? Though I thought it unusual, I decided not to dwell on it. 2) At the time of booking, I was asked to enter a hotel pick up time between 8am-9am (see photo). I randomly entered 8.30am and took note that the operator would reconfirm the pick-up time, and was fully prepared for that. I received a long (>110 words) message, the gist of it was “…Typically, pickups are scheduled between 8:00and 9:00a.m., and we plan to pick you up at 8:00a.m.…. since there can be some morning traffic, please allow for about a 10-15 minutes variation. If you could be ready a bit early, that would help with a smooth pickup …. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns” The way I interpreted this long message is – pickups are between 8am-9am and my pick up is at 8am but I should be ready "a bit early" and since the variation can be 10-15 minutes, should I plan to be ready at 7.45am? As I did indeed have a question/concern and was invited to ask, I asked them “Does that mean I have to be ready at 7.45am?”. They were unresponsive for over 6 hours until I sent a follow up message. Instead of just simply answering “Yes” or “No” to my question, I was lectured over 3 messages about “this is not a private tour” and “If you want to set the pick up time at 8.30, you would need to book a private tour instead… would you like me to change your booking to a private tour” I was a little stunned by this response. Firstly, it was them who asked me to input the time for the small group tour. I never once acted as if I had booked a private tour. Secondly, why the reluctance to answer my question about whether I should ready at 7.45am (a yes/no will suffice). Thirdly, why the hurry to push me off the small group tour to a private tour (this was the 2nd time they indicated they did not want me on their small group tour) I was then informed “We have a total of seven groups tomorrow, and the rest of the groups have all agreed with the message I sent and will meet at the scheduled pickup time as notifie”. By comparing me to other guests, I assume this message was meant to make me feel like I had asked an silly/invalid question? This came across as being mean-spirited. There is never a need to compare guests. Noting that they had STILL not answered my original question, I tried again asking if I should be ready at 8am? That was my scheduled pick up time, but since they had also said to be ready "earlier", I wanted to be sure being ready at 8am would be ok. This time, they asked me to book a tour with another company and they would refund me. I was perplexed at this decision – they would rather cancel my tour than confirm the pick-up time, a relatively simple question. I maintained multiple times that I did nothing wrong to warrant a unilateral cancellation. I did not agree to the cancellation but they were ADAMENT about cancelling on me, 12h before the actual tour, and proceeded with the cancellation. They sent me several messages, pushing the blame onto me to justify why they were cancelling my tour. Here is a sample of what was said to me: “..If there’s a lack of cooperation from the start regarding pickup times or other arrangements, it often leads to a less than satisfactory experience.” --> It is unfair to accuse me of a lack of co-operation. I was agreeable to meeting at whatever time was needed, once they confirmed the time. I asked if I should plan to be ready by 7.45 or 8am. It’s them who refused to answer this question. ” …we provided a clear explanation of why the pickup needs to be at 8 a.m., and we also gave further details afterward. However, since this is a point you are still unable to accept, we are unable to make adjustments regarding this” --> This is also unfair. I never said anything about not accepting it. They said to be ready early. I asked if it meant I should be ready at 7.45am, which they never answered. “The full refund has already been requested on your behalf.” -> This made it seem that I requested the refund when I did not. I did not appreciate being bullied, belittled or gaslighted nor being left in the lurch at the last minute. Thanks to Eden Tours, I went home with a really negative impression of Busan. Truly, this is my worst tour experience in 30 years.
Han was a wonderful guide. Friendly, knowledgeable and made this tour super fun. It was a long day and we saw so much. Totally worth it!
This is a great tour if you don’t have much time in Busan. It was a long day, nearly 11 hours but we visited many Busan highlights. Josh was our tour guide and was friendly, knowledgeable and his English was excellent.
We had an amazing experience on our Busan tour, all thanks to Josh! He was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time. His knowledge of the city was impressive, and his enthusiasm made the tour engaging and fun. Josh’s dedication to ensuring a memorable experience really stood out, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly. If you’re planning a tour in Busan, Josh is the guide you want!
Great experience and guide. Top choice if you want to see many interesting places during one day.
Enjoyable day out. Steven was helpful in showing us the best photo spots and allowing us enough time to enjoy each attraction.
The tour was better than I expected, the places were amazing, tour guide Steven was 100%, 6 stars, good english, funny and knowlegable about the places and history. Had privileged to meet great people from around the world.
We had a great time spending a full day in Busan! Truly recommend this trip for those who want to experience the best of Busan! Our tour guy Steven was awesome! We all appreciated your kindness and humor!
I participated in this tour as a solo traveler and experienced several issues related to organization, communication, and payment handling that future customers should be aware of. A few days before the tour, the guide contacted me to ask if I could move my booking to an earlier date to join an existing group. I agreed and adjusted my schedule. On the morning of the tour, my scheduled pickup time was 8:20 a.m. for a tour including an optional Busan beach train add-on. I was ready by 8:00 a.m., but the pickup was delayed by approximately 1.5 hours. During that time, the guide messaged me but did not provide a clear revised pickup time. When the guide arrived, he suggested canceling the booking or offering a 20,000 KRW discount. After I agreed to proceed with the tour, the company canceled and refunded my original Viator booking and requested that I pay in cash instead, which was only communicated after I was already in the vehicle. The amount requested changed during the day (first 30,000 KRW, then 40,000 KRW). I paid 50,000 KRW at the first stop and later settled the remaining difference in cash. It became clear that the tour was primarily organized for a larger Taiwanese group (approximately 13 people), and I had been added to their existing itinerary. The listing stated a maximum of 7 people per group, which did not match the actual group size. The schedule and pacing appeared to be tailored to the larger group, including considerations for small children, which affected timing and stops. According to the tour description, certain entrance fees (such as Ahopsan Forest and Taejongdae) were supposed to be included. At Ahopsan Forest, I was told that another guest had paid for my ticket, despite the tour description indicating it should be covered. In the guide’s messages, he also stated that my cash payment included the 8,000 KRW forest ticket. Taejongdae, which was listed as part of the itinerary with included entry, was not visited by 6:00 p.m., at which point I chose to leave the tour. The lunch stop was at a traditional Chinese restaurant set up for large group dining, which was not clearly communicated in advance and was not particularly suited to an individual traveler. Throughout the day, the guide engaged extensively with the larger group in their language, while responses to my questions were brief and lacked detail. At several stops, there were inconsistencies between the stated meeting times/locations and the actual pickup, requiring clarification or assistance from other group members. Later in the day, the larger group was dropped off at Gukje Market while I was taken separately to Gamcheon Culture Village. I was told I would have about an hour there, but the village’s posted closing time was 6:00 p.m., and I was dropped off at approximately 5:45 p.m. Due to these timing issues and ongoing confusion about the schedule, I decided to leave the tour and arranged my own transportation back to the city. Following the tour, I posted an honest review of my experience. Afterward, the guide contacted me multiple times from different phone numbers, initially offering a full refund if I removed my review, and later referencing potential legal action for defamation and for using profanity once in a text message. I had already paid in cash and did not wish to meet again, nor was I in the area. I reported the incident and the handling of the tour to Viator support through a formal complaint. I also submitted a complaint via the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) with the assistance of another guide I met on a separate tour. I took multiple other tours in Busan, Gyeongju-si, and Seoul through Viator without any comparable issues. Based on this particular experience, I recommend that solo travelers and small groups carefully review the tour details, confirm group size limits, and avoid agreeing to cancel secure platform bookings in favor of direct cash arrangements.
Very good tour where you get to see really most of what Busan has to offer. Our guide, Steven, was very friendly and informative. He was also offering to take photos of us and was pretty good at it. We had enough time at each stop to enjoy it but also not linger too long. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Busan for the 1st time! Thanks Steven
This was a great tour and we really enjoyed all of the sites. Steven was amazing and very patient. He provided information and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide named Steven was an extraordinary and outstanding professional. Though it rained heavily but he did his best so that we carry good memories of Busan.
I wrote a full review on TripAdvisor. I basically got scammed where they canceled my booking and then asked me to pay in cash for a discount. I was lumped together with a Taiwanese group for their tour. I felt not wanted or included the entire day. The guide was very rude and short with me. Did not appreciate this at all would not recommend. They were more concerned about getting paid and me not writing a bad review. Not actually giving me a good customer experience.
Glad we picked this tour! Pick up and drop off made it easy. Steven our guide was especially helpful. His stories about his experiences as well as his knowledge added an extra personal touch. My wife and I were visiting Busan on our honeymoon. We were only here for 3 days and had to make the most of it. Received a booking confirmation and shortly afterwards got a text from Steven confirming pick up times and further details. It was extremely handy being picked up as I don’t think we would have been able to coordinate early morning traffic. Steven had great communication even before he arrived letting us know an ETA. The tour had a great combination of activities. Despite the packed itinerary and structure, at no point did we feel rushed and were quite often able to explore on our own. The forest was one of our highlights. We walked for about 3kms and various inclines. However, Steven ensured the pace was suitable for all members of our group (at different age and fitness levels) to not only keep up but to enjoy the experience. He was also very helpful with taking photos for us. Highly recommend this tour! My thanks to Steven for making the day so memorable.
This tour was absolutely worth it. Steven was a fantastic guide—punctual pickup, excellent communication throughout the day, and a great sense of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. He shared so much knowledge about Busan and the history behind each stop, which really added depth to the tour. The itinerary was well-rounded, the small-group setting was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Busan in a meaningful, well-organized way.
Would definitely recommend this small group tour capturing the highlights of Busan in one day. Steven our tour guide was excellent and ensured everyone had a great experience. Thank you Steven!
This was a really fantastic tour! Rick was our guide and I genuinely enjoyed the experiences they put together. The tour is a wonderful value and certainly a full day of exploring! You see many of Busan's highlights and a nice variety of places to visit. I especially enjoyed the nature preserve and the cliffside temple. It was a small tour group size, about 7 total including Rick. They were wonderful and it was a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere the whole day. I think this tour is a great option whether you're solo, a couple, or a small group of colleagues. Lots of fun!
I loved Stevens energy. He was a fun guide and was very patient with us on one of the busiest days of the year. He made sure we reached all of our destinations and was very informative, telling us stories from his grandmother and also giving us historic break downs at each location.
This is an excellent trip with a small group & an excellent guide. Our guide, Steven, is extremely helpful and shared some history of the attractions. The bamboo forest was really nice although will need to hike quite a bit. Wear comfy shoes! Thankfully, Steven is thoughtful & accommodating, always flexible in adjusting to our needs. He is a careful driver too. A million thanks to Steven for making our trip a memorable one 😍
We had an excellent experience with Steven, our day trip tour guide! He was very engaging and friendly, and communicated clearly in both English and Chinese. His explanations of the history and background of each attraction were informative and easy to understand, which made the tour much more meaningful. He accompanied us throughout the attractions such as the temple and bamboo forest, and was especially patient in making sure everyone are together. He also acted as translator when we couldn’t understand Korean and he volunteered as photographer for us. He takes really good photos! He constantly checked in to ensure we were comfortable and doing well, and always asked if we needed any help or assistance, which we are very grateful. Overall, his professionalism and care made the trip smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommended!
Steven was an absolutely exceptional tour guide for our trip to Busan's cultural villages and Hwangnyeongsan night view! Our day was fantastic, highlighted by the beautiful sunset view from the cafe at Huinnyeoul Culture Village and the incredible city views from Hwangnyeongsan after dark. Steven's proficiency in English, Chinese, and Japanese was incredibly helpful. What we truly appreciated was his passion and enthusiasm—he was actively involved with the group throughout the entire trip. He went above and beyond by taking great photos for everyone and making a special effort to be inclusive, ensuring solo travelers were never left out. We highly recommend Steven! Thank you for the wonderful memories.
The tour was very intense with near-perfect timing (busy but well-balanced). The driving and the bus were a bit basic, but the experience was unforgettable, and the guide was incredibly attentive to his guests.
Mason truly exceeded all our expectations. He is honestly the best tour guide we have ever had! Since we were only in Busan for 8 hours (cruise stop), he asked us to make a list of places we wanted to see. It was a very ambitious list for the short time we had, yet Mason organized the tour itinerary so perfectly that we not only visited everything on our list, but also had time for other extraordinarily beautiful, new spots, and even enjoyed an exquisite, traditionally prepared Matcha tea. He didn't just drive us around; he shared interesting information about the sites and the city in general. Also, as we were traveling with my 4-year-old daughter, he made an effort to entertain or play with her for a bit so that we could enjoy the views or shop for souvenirs. He took great photos of us and kept us laughing throughout the day. By the end of the tour, we didn't want him to leave because we enjoyed his company so much. He knows he has new friends in Mexico City who appreciate him very much. We highly, highly recommend him. We miss you Mason! :) - De Aguinaga Family -
We had a busy day touring Busan, the hotel pick up and drop off was super handy. Unfortunately Busan traffic was particularly bad/ there had been an accident so it put the timing out for the day (not the tour guides fault) which made the transitions between places a bit rushed however we had a great day and got to see everything we wanted. The Busan area is beautiful and particularly loved the Gamcheon cultural village.
We had a full day adventure exploring Busan with Mason. He was energetic, polite, fluent English and always on top of things taking care of our group of 8 on the tour
We went on a 2 person private day tour from Busan to Suncheon. Jay picked us up bright and early as it was at least a 2h drive over, he was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were well taken care of! we visited the Suncheon Drama Filming Set, Suncheon Wetlands Reserve as well as Yeosu Cable car and Jay offered to take many photos for us and made sure every location was well explained to us. He made the experience very enjoyable and carefree! would definitely book with Eden Tour again in future to visit other cities!
Mum and I had a great day. Rick was our tour guide, who was very patient accomodating my 76yo mum. The tour is a good mix of nature, scenery and culture.
The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. He kept the tour fact-packed and excited. Thank you from America!
Had an amazing one-day Busan tour with Mason from Eden Tour! Super knowledgeable, fun, and full of great stories. He takes great photos too! Highly recommend if you want to explore Busan like a local!
Whistle stop your of Busan with a stop at a wonderful, local cafe thrown in. Rick was funny and patient despite the several obstacles and made sure it was fun for all
Good day with our driver who took the time to pick up and drop each person in front of his hotel. Really appreciate that day
This is a great full day tour of Busan. It is a full itinerary and allowed us to see Busan at night, which was amazing. Mason was so energetic and engaging - he made the day very special for us.
I only had one day to see Busan and I was traveling alone. This tour was just the one I needed. It was a small group, which I prefer as it makes the experience more personal, and it’s great for a solo traveler like me. The pick up and drop off service made things go smoothly for me. Mason was a fantastic guide who made the day fun and interesting for everyone. He not only showed us the tourist attractions but also took us to a cafe frequented by locals and provided great information. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Busan.
Steven was absolutely brilliant! From the moment we met him, he felt more like a friend showing us around than a tour guide. He was warm, funny, and full of great local knowledge — we had such a good laugh throughout the day. Even when the weather turned on us, he stayed upbeat and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. My daughter and I were so impressed with his photography skills — he went above and beyond to get the perfect shots for everyone. We saw so many beautiful places we’d never have found on our own, and finished the day at a stunning Hanok café with wonderful coffee, teas, and cakes. The perfect ending to a perfect day. We’ll definitely be booking another tour with Steven the next time we’re in Busan — can’t recommend him highly enough! Steven, 감사합니다 🙏🏻
Outstanding personality and companionate person. He made sure everyone had their needs met. Very knowledgeable. I just loved him.
A full day of great places to explore. Our guide Eden did a perfect job to explain Korean culture/history and showing us around.
Rick was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable!!! Took time to explain all the sights we saw and was a very patient guide!
My husband and I enjoyed the day. Rick has been a fantastic guide and very accommodating. We'd gone on other tours and Rick ranks among the best guides we had. Highly recommend this tour. Thanks again, Rick.
Our driver Rick or Mr. Song Jin was a 5 star guild! He is patient , full of good humor and good information, was very helpful and we really appreciate all his hard work and the long hours he put into making our trip an excellent experience.thank you so much for all the effort Rick !
