Shilla Stay Seobusan

Highly recommended with mall just 1km away, the room is spacious and bedding was perfect and cosy. Breakfast very tasty and multiple choices

We came for a business trip and were looking forward to the stay based on the chain’s previous reputation however it was a disappointment. Most of the amenities that this location advertises are not available which is false advertising. Air conditioners throughout the building are kept turned off to save them money even when the rooms were 26-27 degrees making it very difficult to sleep or be comfortable. When I first went to the desk and asked them to have someone check the air conditioner they said they would send someone to look at it, after 2 days and it still wasn’t on I went to talk to the front desk and that’s when they told me they keep them off. This is the normal as you can see from other reviews. When I complained the lady rolled her eyes so hard I thought she would lose them. She apologized but it was obviously fake and sarcastic. The pool, hot tub and saunas are also drained and not in service. They claim it’s for maintenance but based on other reviewers and timelines they have been like this for over a year. So they are charging for amenities they are not providing. This is very underhanded business. Asked the hotel to do 1 load of laundry and was charged over 150,000 won. As a comparison that’s over 87 Euros or $100 US dollars. The location is on the opposite side of the city far from the airport and any attractions you may want to see compared to many other hotels. We have let our company know, our corporate travel agents and the large South Korean company we came to do business with. They were very disappointed to hear that a well known business in South Korea would conduct themselves in such a dishonorable manner.

5/5 While we are on trip to Busan, we always stays at Shilla Stay Seobusan. It is closed to Airport. Not like a Motel. Well cleaned. Price is also reasonable!
