Really great self-guided tour. The map was great, guiding us between locations. The photos were very helpful to make sure we were in the right spot and the info at each stop was just the right amount for us! I would definitely recommend and will consider this for other trips.

You'll discover the charm of François Rude Street, with its medieval and Renaissance architecture, and learn the story behind Bareuzai Square's iconic wine-harvester statue.
Dijon Market Hall: "A building inspired by Gustave Eiffel, who was born right here in Dijon. Inside: snail cake (yes, really), the best organic breads, and cheeses you won’t find anywhere else."
Church of Our Lady: "Twice in history, Dijon faced certain destruction. Twice, the citizens turned to a mysterious wooden statue. Twice, the enemy left. Coincidence?"
The Owl of Dijon: "Nobody knows where it came from. Nobody knows why people touch it. But there’s a ghost story from the 17th century that might explain everything."

Archaeological Museum of Dijon – End your walk in a monks' dormitory turned museum, where Roman burial stones line the underground vaults.

Very good self guide experience. Easy to use and very informative.
Good as you choose when to go and when to stop and start the tour. Very informative. Unfortunately several places were closed on a Monday. The app doesn’t give you directions from one point to the next but it does give you a map
This was a great choice for me. It was reasonably priced, I was assured a tour in the English language, I could go at my own pace (stopping for shopping or eating or a side detour whenever I wanted) and I could back track and see something again if I wanted a refresh. I also liked that I could read the narration when I didn’t have my earbuds. For example, I shared some facts with a friend over dinner using the text feature. The map worked great for me as well. I like it that I can access the same tour over and over again once I purchased it. I will definitely use Tourific again!
Excellent app for taking a tour of the highlights of Dijon at your own pace. The explanations at each stop were very informative and succinct. The map was essential and the photos and text were very helpful. This is a great app! I will use it again for other cities.
The tour took us to the highlights of Dijon and and presented the history and significance of each place in an interesting, succinct way. It was nice to be able to take the tour at our own pace. I will use this product in other cities I visit.
Simple to follow and educational plus great value. We were able to drop in and out as needed and the photos filled in where areas like museums were closed.
Waste of money. It didn’t work. I tried to get it to work on my phone. It was useless. I wish I hadn’t booked it.
The audio your was very understandable, the history laced with interesting stories and I believe it but the highlights of Dijon
It was great. Very informative and we saw parts of Dijon that we probably wouldn’t have seen. It was a great way to view the city. Some elements weren’t open but that’s because we started so early in the day to beat the heat. I would definitely recommend
Very practical. Very informative introduction to Dijon
Tour was good, informative, however the map had a couple inaccuracies to point of reference although it wasn’t too difficult to find the point of interest when we walked a little further. Overall good tour
Informative, entertaining. Easy to follow. Good narration. We did it early in the am and some things were not open but still really enjoyed this tour.
Outstanding and Informative Tour of Dijon! This was the first time we had visited this city. It is also the first time we have tried a self-guided tour. We really loved both the tour and the city! There were four of us, all of us older folk in our 60s and 70s, yet we had little to no trouble figuring out how to make the tour work, The guide utilizes the Tourific Ap which took a couple of minutes to download and set up, but after that it was easy. We drove our rental car to a parking lot on the edge of the city and then took an Uber to the first stop on the tour. From there we walked to all 24 locations. I enjoyed being able to stop and get a snack or something whenever we wanted to, it was great! The guide gave great detail about each of the sites. I highly recommend!
The narration and tour stops are very good. It would. Be improved if the gps triggered the narration as you came upon the particular stop. Instead we frequently had to double back as we had passed the building that should have been tagged to the stop. We have done other self guided tours that worked more seamlessly.
The tour was guided by an app on my phone, each location was shown on an interactive map and me round the city’s streets and attractions, due to the tall buildings in the center location was lost for a period but helped by the pictures given of the location. With stops for food and drink along the way we had a pleasurable experience. There was no pressure to rush the tour we took our time and feasted along the way.
It was hopeless because we were unable to access the tour from the app
The trip was very well planned and informative with just the right amount of information
Easy to use app with excellent information and well presented. The addition of map and pictures greatly enhance this self guided tour. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it turned out to be our perfect tour 'companion'. And you can do it in your own time.
Perfect way to get to know a place at your own pace. The information provided is excellent - just right and well presented. Wholly recommend.
Brilliant concept and a great experience. No being rushed or held up by others and able to dip in and out at your own pace. Loved it.
Favorite stops, the black Madonna, the owl at Notre Dane, and Les Halles.
Excellent self guided tour. It gave a lot of information yet had time at spots to spend extra time when needed.
This tour helped us to discover all the sights of this beautiful town. We learnt about the history of Dijon and really know the places we want to go back to today for a second look!
This tour was perfect. Nice to pace self and good amount of information at each stop. I’ll try some cities self-guided walking tours.
It had good information but lacked direction prompts. This caused some confusion and a longer timeline.
This is well worth doing. The app is easy to use, you can go at your own pace and the narrator seems knowledgeable
Nobody appers on point defined, they just sent a map in google, nobody showed up to help or explain, nothing, i will never more used this service
The audio tour provides a very good overview of historic Dijon. We found the app easy to use and very comprehensive. We appreciated the ablity to start the tour at a site close to our hotel, rather than at the beginning of the tour. We did the tour in about five hours, including a lunch stop, but I imagine it could be completed in half that time if rushed.
We overdid the walking the day before and had jet lag. My husband was not up for a two hour walking tour. We simple sat at a lovely cafe and listened to the tour complete with pictures. Well worth the money without the energy needed to walk the tour. Thanks! Learned a lot.
Highly recommended. Interesting background stories, facts, history.. very nice way to get to know the city on your own hand.
Loved this. Informative and loved that you could go at your own pace. Some of the listing's were shut over the Easter weekend, but as you can download and keep the guide offline I was able to listen to sections of it on different days. Will definitely look this up for future cities I visit.
Great way to tour the city at our own pace. We really appreciated the history and stories, while also being able to pause and restart whenever and wherever we liked while enjoying different aspects of the city. Terrific experience, well worth the price.
Great way to explore a city at your own pace.
Self guided meant we could take our time and stop for coffee or drinks when we liked. It was informative without overloading. Easy to absorb.
This was an awesome self-guided tour. You can stop & start the tour at any point and proceed in any order, if you prefer. The information provided at each stop was just enough to pique our interest and remember the experience forever. Amazing history of Dijon and the region.
We thoroughly enjoyed the self guided tour through Dijon. It was interesting, informative and good fun. It was nice to go at our own pace and actually we spent the whole afternoon on the tour.
A great walking tour. Told well with lots of information without being too much fact overload. Certainly took longer than 2 hours. We didn’t linger in museums too long either
It was a nice walk in the historic center of Dijon. We visited and discovered the ancient city. The audio files were very interesting.
We enjoyed using the app. My only critics is that it was missing some important details, like didn’t the market is only open on certain days and that many places are closed on Tuesday.
This is a wonderful app! It was easy to download and provided oral and written narration, a map, and photos. Highly informative as well as providing interesting bits of trivia. We spent the whole day pleasantly meandering and stopping for coffee, lunch, and shopping. Well worth it!
We learned so much about Dijon and it's history! I loved that we were able to go at our own pace and pause as needed for lots of photos.
The guide was a great help in getting an orientation of all the wonderful sites to visit. The comments were helpful in getting a good feeling of everything we visited.
This was the best walking tour we've taken. I especially liked the personal touch and perfect English without a French accent. I liked the variety- not just all churches! The route was great since it led us through some nice resting places such as courtyards and little parks. There seemed to be plenty of benches to just sit down and listen while at the stops. An explanation of how the Museum of Fine Arts works to enter, get a ticket, stash your belongings etc. would be beneficial. It was nice to find restrooms along the way without problems. We love Dijon! Thank you!
Great audio self guided tour! Very informative and easy to follow and understand! Learned a lot from the tour!
Once we got the details like the movements on the map towards the next stop etc , it really worked. We had each one earplug to share the info. Missed few of the stops but all in all very good experience.
Very interesting experience
Very complete visit, at your own pace, perfect 👍
MAGNIFICENT city with many museums (free), everything can be done on foot, Grand Place, buildings, architecture, and a gentle way of life, the BEST
I liked it a lot and it was the perfect combo for my desire for autonomy and my budget constraints. The only remark I would make is regarding the map, which is a bit basic. I had to use Google Maps as well to find my way around. Otherwise it was wonderful! PS: this definitely takes more than 2 hours.
