A really interesting, enjoyable experience. Our guide was excellent. We were in a very small group. The tastings were well done and the wine delicious.

Great experience and kind people. The wines are excellent, along with the love and care of the vineyards and Chateau history is something very special!
While visiting Beaune France we had the opportunity to visit Chateau de Pommard. Beautiful property, lots of history, fantastic wines and our wine educator Petiet was great.
Very informative. Excellent guide. Beautiful place and excellent wine. We recommend this tour very highly
What an impressive chateau! Very nice experience and interesting information from our host/guide. The explanation about the chateau and its different kinds of territories was very interesting.
The quality of the wines was fantastic and Flavian gave us a good overview. It was a shame before and after the wine tasting the vineyards and the chateaux was not used more in the tour, e.g: a wine bar to enjoy the wines more, walking and touring the vineyards with explanations etc
Now owned by an American, takes on some of the Napa style for joining their club and achieving vip status for free shipping to the US and access to bottles not available for sale. Priced on the higher end but overall a good product with a beautiful venue. Renovations under way for more space in 2024.
We had Professional Sommelier lady who explained a lot about wines, vinery and vintages. Forced me to invest some bottles 😉
Brief history of the region, wine making and the process. Nice selection of whites and reds. All in our party enjoyed the tasting and bought some wines to try later. Well done.
Exceptional wines however too pricy (41 euros) for only 6 wines tasting (50 ml each?) and when asked about the other wines with more friendly prices I was invited to leave because “there was clients waiting”. So rude and disappointing! Be prepared to leave right after your last sip (it was not specified in the ticked). I would not recommend the experience.
Hands down the absolute best tasting experience we have had in any country (US, New Zealand, South Africa). There were four of us and this is the only tasting we’ve ever done at which we have enjoyed every single wine. (Two chardonnay, three Pinot noir.) Julie was exceptionally informative, friendly, patient and interesting. And she nailed the wine selections based on our very sketchy — and disparate — information about style and preferences. We also were comfortable with the COVID precautions (and we are quite careful). Our family was the only group in the tasting room, which the receptionist personally verified before booking the tasting. Julie wore her own mask the whole time and we removed ours only while sipping, and then at about a 10-foot distance. That safety allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the experience. We left with two spectacular bottles of wine to enjoy while celebrating our anniversary and time with close family.
Meghan was fantastic. tasting was amazing. such a wonderful vineyard to visit to learn all about Burgundy and their special appellations.
Without making a booking we were welcome to do a tasting at Château de Pommard. We got a tour from the lovely Lea. She spoke with a lot of passion and gave us a great explanation about the different wines. In one word: beautiful. I would highly recommend doing a tasting here!
Interesting story about the history of the Chateau and the different soil types on which the Pinot Noir grapes of this chateau grow. Followed by a tasting where the sausage explains what you are tasting, why, and which way the wine in question will go in the future. Here you can buy the wines (and others) that you have tasted, since this is about wines from the higher segment, you must also take into account that you will pay a corresponding price, but always less than in the store or liquor store.
Very nice castle with a beautiful story! We had Clementine as hostess and she did fantastic. Good explanation in English and had a personalized wine tasting. The wines here are superlative!
The service was good but they did not serve water and did not exchange the glasses to taste the 6 wines. Vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
Very weak performance... Lots of marketing and not much behind... The cellars were not to be visited, as they are currently being rebuilt... New labels... An owner who comes from IT and spent half his life in the United States... without words... There are many smaller wineries with much more valuable wines at reasonable prices... EUR 180.-- for a good bottle of wine not an issue, but not for...
The visit did not include a visit to the cellars under construction. And the annoying thing is that nowhere were we warned of this fact and we paid full price for this tour
We had the pleasure of tasting some wines with our guide MARJORIE She knew by her knowledge , explanations her advice during the tasting, make us this meeting of the most exquisite. An enchanting setting and exceptional wines, a moment that my spouse and I will remember for a long time
We had a very nice oenolic experience in this beautiful place, the Welcoming is warm and impeccable, our hostess was exciting and passionate, the wine tasted is really exceptional
La personne qui nous a accueilli a été super , elle nous a très bien expliqué , très souriante , très marrante et vraiment gentille et passionnée ! Dégustation de 6 très bons vins
tasting of 6 wines well or very well classified very interesting guide and having a good knowledge of the local grape varieties as other regions visit to do (tasting at 18 euros) We were unable to visit the castle due to its renovation
It was great! Stephanie explained and advised us the wines Very nice tasting 😀 This allowed us to discover the world of apple....
I advise against this activity which is a scam. For three reasons: Firstly, we were told about a visit to the cellars, the vineyard and a tasting, and we were only treated to the tasting. Secondly, the person who was assigned to us was unable to talk about wine and the reasons that differentiate two bottles. Thirdly, Price quality ratio. We can frankly find better quality Pinot Noir for a more affordable price. Even the price of the tour is not worth it
The tasting was well organized and went perfectly. The presentation by the hostess in English was extremely informative and interesting. The tasting even for us 4 people was also top. Our wishes regarding wines were even partially addressed and the program was not stubbornly handled. We also placed a small order for shipping to Austria. The delivery arrived perfectly as agreed.
. My wife and I, for our 60 years of engagement, were delighted with this tasting that we hoped would be rich in products, flavors and olfactory surprises. The explanations and comments of our guide , who was also very kind, confirmed our hopes and suggested a high-end service. We were entitled to 5 tastings for 18 euros. In a cold or even austere room, the wine was poured by the wire, barely covering the bottom of the glass (1.5 cl at most) , barely enough to soak the mucous membranes , and without accompaniment. 1.5 cl x 5 tastings, i.e. 7.5 cl for 18 euros , making the bottle from 75 cl to 180 euros. I don't know why, or rather if, I know, I feel like we've been fooled... Actually, there's no age for it, but at Château de Pommard never again. If you like...
On site this January 7, although being on the reserve in view of some comments here, I must admit that the experience was very good, already the high level of professionalism of our guide is to be noted. Then I asked to be able to take a beautiful white to start instead of a red, we did not regret, a magnificent Meursault that really made us vibrate, then we went on the series of Marey-Monge. High-flying wines, combining everything you expect from the great climates in Burgundy with its king grape varieties. Certainly the budget is relatively high, but to have done enough tastings of high standing, it is in the norm, I must admit that Château Pommard is back in the courtyard of the great! For the sorrowful spirits who find that there is not enough in the glass, I remind you that we are not in a wine bar, there is in any case enough to taste, while keeping a maximum of lucidity to realize that we are not in the ordinary or the current... A very pleasant tasting preceded by a beautiful presentation of the estate, the terroir and the wine lexicon. Very attentive, the host put us at ease to discover the wines, all complex and different depending on the subclimates of the closed Marey-Monge. We didn’t feel that we had been pushed towards buying after the tasting. We were lucky enough to be just two, having chosen a weekday schedule, which certainly changed the game in terms of experience.
Tasting bling bling at 26eur. Kind of the American show and 100% marketing that pays in the bottles. Tasting served in interesting homeopathic dose on 2 whites (albeit overpriced) and totally uninteresting on 4 reds; quality absolutely not on the appointment and completely irrelevant price between 65 and 150eur per bottle. Impossible to taste the rest of the range, how can you only consider buying a wine without tasting it...... We tasted much better wines for 1/4 of the price. A clue that is not misleading: there is still unsold stock from quite old years, this is generally a sign of quite poor quality otherwise all production (more limited for this area) would have been sold a long time ago. For tourists perhaps, for wine lovers not! Small producers to favor rather than this kind of field!
A big thank you to Léa for the very informative tasting and full of good humor. We had a great time and left with extra knowledge. Hygiene measures are perfectly respected during the visit and the Welcoming was professional and warm. To do!
