We had an amazing time. The tour was intimate, full of small town knowledge which defines Burgundy. Our guide Virginie was not only extremely knowledgeable and local, but also very thoughtful about sharing her knowledge of the region and the wines without being overbearing or pretentious. We felt that we learned a lot, and will certainly return to this lovely region and its villages.

Our tour guide Virginie was awesome and she really knows an unbelievable amount of information about Bourgogne and the wines. Seeing the beautiful vineyards was wonderful. 14 wines was a lot to taste in one day but almost everyone in our group of 7 enjoyed them all. The lunch in a brasserie she took us to (not included in the cost) was surprisingly excellent and good value.

You know the Oscar wild quote about knowing the price of everything in the value of Nothing? Take it from me simply ship the stuff back to the states.

The tour guide was a joy to be with for the day. Knowledgeable, personable, fun! We tasted and learned a lot about a wide variety of Burgundy wines (28 in all!). The countryside and vineyards were beautiful.

Our tour guide was amazing. Emmanuel was relax, gave great recommendations and even took us to two extra stops. We tasted 25 different wines with many premiers and a couple of gran. We couldn’t have gotten a taste of the many varieties of wines in Burgundy without Emmanuel knowledge and experience. He even found us a place for dinner on a Saturday night. Highly recommend!

I highly suggest that you book this tasting. The format is perfect: winery tasting, lunch, and then two more winery tastings. Lunch was separate, but was an amazing value for 3 course meal for €20! Virginie was our guide I highly recommend that you request her. She is so nice and knowledgeable.

Our wine tour from Beaune was an unforgettable experience, entirely thanks to our incredible guide, Virginia. She was absolutely fantastic and perfectly explained the winemaking process to us - from the composition of the soil, the levels of the vineyards, ownership of the vines, and much more. The itinerary was a dream come true and filled with some unexpected wonderful surprises. Getting to visit the Chambolle-Musigny area and stand in front of the world-famous Romanée-Conti vineyard was incredible. Every single wine we tasted along the way was excellent. Virginia's passion, deep knowledge, and warm storytelling made the region truly come alive. If you are looking for an exceptional, educational, and top-tier wine experience in Burgundy, ask for Virginia!

This is an in-depth tasting of Burgundy wines. I really enjoyed the day as the guide made it a fun and enjoyable trip with jokes, stories, and wine knowledge. No regrets. Two things a first-time visitor using this tour should know: (1) this is not like a wine tour in the USA where you go to multiple wineries. They are just too small to accommodate crowds. So the tasting is consolidated at a locale where you can taste the various makers. (2) You taste a lot of wine, but the providers do not offer any crackers, etc between tastes. So bring a baguette with you; it will make all the difference, as the wine will taste different with some food than just by itself.

Very informative, friendly and the guide Manu was awesome and passionate and so much fun! Highly recommend this tour as you get a complete overview of the great wines of Burgundy and many tastings of 1st Cru and Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs. Small group of 7-8 attendees so intimate and the people at the wineries were so very welcoming and excited to share their wine history and vintages. Truly amazing and you pay a bit more to get to taste the higher end wines. The whole group stopped for lunch and ate together enhancing the experience; 2 from Taiwan, 2 from Sweden/Turkeye, 1 from South Korea and 2 from Texas! Great mix, great personalities, lots of wine and lots of information and laughter. Manuel was top- notch and expert. Beautiful country.

Emmanuel was a FANTASTIC guide, educating us so much about Burgundy wine processes, the history, and how to taste. He is also just a fun person to be around, making the tour so enjoyable. All the wines we tasted were fantastic and Pinot is officially our favorite.

Virginie was a wonderful guide - full of knowledge and took us to many interesting parts of Bourgogne covering a lot of ground. She also too us for a very delicious lunch.

Great tour to learn about Burgundy and their amazing wine. You can take a deep dive into the various regions and taste how the terroir comes into play. There is a great deal of passion from the wine merchants and you get to sample many wines including a grand cru. You can’t get this experience on your own so if you are truly into wine take this tour. If you just want to drink wine there are less pricy options but you won’t get the same experience Our guide Virginie was excellent and knowledgeable.

This tour is an incredible experience - an absolute must do + great value for the length + access + expertise of the host/guide Emmanuel. I have visited many wine regions and done many tours all over the world - Emmanuel by far was the most passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely kind professional I've had the absolute joy of being on a tour with. Everywhere we went Emmanuel (and hence our group) were greeted as family/close friends. Next trip I will absolutely book this tour again! Thank you Emmanuel!

The wineries were nice, especially the first two, and Virginia did a nice jobs of showing us sights, helping educate us about the wine history of Burgundy, and proving three quality tastings.

Wow. I was blown away by the quality of the wines and the extensive knowledge of our guide. Excellent on every measure. Come prepared to taste some of the best of Burgundy and to learn more that usual from other wine tours.

We were so happy to have met our guide, Emanuel! He is incredibly knowledgeable, fun to be around, and genuinely passionate about both Burgundy wines and the region’s culture. His enthusiasm made the entire day engaging and memorable. The wine selection was exceptionally generous—there was plenty to taste, and every wine had its own distinct personality. One of the highlights was doing a vertical tasting of different vintages of the same Premier Cru wine. We couldn’t believe how dramatically the same wine had evolved over 20 years. It was a fascinating experience and one we’ll remember for a long time. For lunch, Emanuel took us to a wonderful local restaurant serving traditional Burgundian cuisine. We highly recommend trying the Yin and Yang eggs, a traditional Burgundian dish inspired by ancient recipes. It was unlike anything we’d had before and absolutely delicious. Emanuel also went above and beyond by extending the tour beyond the scheduled time. As a special surprise, he treated us to some excellent local Crémant and additional wines from Beaune, which we weren’t expecting at all. Beyond being an outstanding guide, he’s simply a great person to spend the day with. We had wonderful conversations about music and enjoyed listening to some fantastic French songs as we drove through the beautiful countryside. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip and absolutely worth the price. If you’re looking for an authentic, educational, and genuinely enjoyable wine experience in Burgundy, we couldn’t recommend Emanuel more highly.

Fantastic tour! A tour with Emmanuel as a guide feels like bringing a friend on a wine tour. This tour has great value and you learn about Bourgougne while tasting great wines (much more than 14!). We visited domaines and learned about wine production, and we also had the opportunity to buy bottles from these domaines afterwards. The tour is in a small mini van with only a few people which makes the tour feel very personalized and tailored. The car is nice with good AC, which was important during the heat wave. If you worry about heat during this tour, this is no challenge at all. We also had a great lunch booked by Emmanuel during the tour, and he even booked a table for us at a great restaurant for dinner afterwards. We wish to thank Emmanuel for a fantastic tour and we will for sure do this again when we visit Beaune!

An excellent tour of wineries and vintners in and around Beaune, Burgundy. Our tour guide, Emmanuel, was engaging, knowledgeable and very friendly. We had an excellent time, learned an awful lot about Burgandy wine and really enjoyed the day.

This was our 2nd time in Burgundy. We have been to tours before but this was very different . Virginie is a very experienced and cool guide Program was perfect. It was like we had our best friend in Burgundy and she was taking us to the nicest corners of the town. All tastings were rich and each stop we made for tastings people were very inspiring. We definetely recommend this.

If you love wine, this tour is for you! First, Emmanuel is an extremely knowledgeable, Burgundy resident whom is deeply connected and brings a very colorful and informative approach. He’s the best! Now for the tour itself - well, buckle up! We tasted far more than 14 wines including a large number of Grand Crus and Premier Crus during the day. What an experience! So much fun and the highlight of the visit!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow, worth every penny! We had a fabulous tour with Emmanuel. So many premier and grands crus, it was like a fireworks show set to the William Tell Overture. I looked back at the places we visited and all were highly reviewed. We really made the most of our day in Beaune. Very well curated visits. Yet another amazing tour, this time of the beautiful Burgundy countryside. Our guide, Virginie, a local from Nuits St. Georges could not have been better. Knowledgeable , kind and very proud of her hometown! We learned so much about the wine process and local distinctions. Burgundy is serious about their wine!! Altogether, could not have been better.

The experience was incredible. Emmanuel was a great tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. He went out of his way to share extra pieces of burgundy with us and was great to learn from. We tried lots of wines, saw more vineyards, and shared a traditional meal together.

We had a great time on this tour! We learned a ton about chardonnay, Pinot noir and the regions within Beaune. Emmanuel was really knowledgeable about the wines and regions, and it was clear he had good connections within the industry and with all the domaines we tasted at. We ended up tasting a lot more than 14 wines - it was probably closer to 40. I never thought this would be something that I’d complain about with wine tasting, but this tour had too many tastings - it felt like our guide was just trying to get us to try as many wines as possible, but it got to a point where we just weren’t able to appreciate the wine. The tour had 3 tastings, but we added a fourth location at the end of the day where we tasted an additional 15 wines, after 9 hours of wine tasting. Toward the end it felt more like a wine guzzling tour, not wine tasting. I also wish that there had been more seating options at some of the domaines so we could have sat and better appreciated the wine. Overall we still had a great time and I would recommend this tour, but be prepared to drink a LOT more than is advertised.

It’s a long day of information and tasting so be prepared and pace yourself. It was thoroughly enjoyable, informative and delicious. Our guide Emanuel was extremely knowledgeable, authentic, engaging and funny. We tasted huge array of wines, lent a lot of history of the region, met colourful characters and made some friends along the way. It was great to be in a small group of 5 as well.

Great guide, just the right amount of education, fun stories, excellent selection of wineries and wine. Clean van, hospitable hosts. This is about time in the wineries and one distributor, saw the vines through the van windows only.

This was a great overview to the Burgundy wine region. We got to see the countryside and taste lots of great wine. A lovely way to spend the day.

We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the Burgundy wine region in a private air-conditioned van. The wineries were charming and intimate, and we tasted exceptional wines from small local producers. Lunch was delicious and perfectly complemented the experience. Our guide, Virginie, was truly outstanding. Her knowledge of the region, wines, and history was exceptional, and her warmth and friendliness made the entire day feel very special. She created such a memorable experience for us, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Burgundy!

We LIKED it but we did not love it. The wine was great but we started drinking very early in the morning. They did not provide bread or snacks to pair with the wine which made my family and I feel a little nauseous especially at 10AM. In fact, there was no bread, cheese or food pairing of any kind entire experience other than the lunch that you pay for. This made us feel queasy from drinking and then getting into a van. One more note, the wine glasses were not rinsed the before the next pour. So if you had some wine left over, it would mix with the new pour. That being said, we loved Virigine our guide. She is super knowledgeable. We were expecting more due the price we paid and what we received from previous wine tours.

This was a good experience but was disappointed that it was just tasting in different wine rooms not actually the vineyards. Too early and too long a lunch. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, witty and friendly. But overall did not meet my expectations and was disappointed.

Emmanuel makes this your hands down. This is our second tour with him and the second was even more amazing than the first. Not only does he generously take you to many wine tasting, he also accommodates budget and preferences. We brought back our family this time because we loved the first time so much. We had a wonderful wine tour experience in Beaune with our guide, Virgine (or a similar French spelling). She was incredibly kind, informative, and spoke excellent English. She taught us so much about the wine region around Beaune and helped us discover wines that perfectly matched our personal tastes. She also took us to a delicious local lunch spot that we never would have found on our own, which made the day feel even more authentic and special.
