Children and adults alike will be fascinated by the tour of the ageing cellars, workshops, robots and automatons that use "the traditional method". The tour through the heart of the company is enlivened by projections on giant screens. Your visit will end with a personalised and commented sampling of 3 Crémants de Bourgogne in the friendly atmosphere of the Veuve Ambal shop. Very nice tour and great tasting. Definitely worth the price
We booked a tour and tasting to understand the differences between the Champagne making process and the Cremant process. Our self guided tour with headphones in our language was very informative and we accomplished our objective. The tasting was great. They have a huge assortment of different Cremants. We were able to taste the ones we wanted. Our host was quite entertaining and hospitable. We had a great time. At a cost of only $10 per person, this tour is worthwhile. I would strongly recommend.
We visited the vinery yesterday and had a great time. The tour was very informative and really interesting to see the different parts of the wine process. After the tour we went back to the shop where the tasting took place. The tasting was a great experience and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend going there
Very informative audio tour of how this winery and their sparkling wine came to be. Tastings were good but not being a sparkling wine aficionado I found it hard to differentiate them. It is NOT in Beaune central and we had to take an Uber to get there
The tour is self driven with headphones so the tour can be as short or long as you like. usually takes 1hr. Great value for money.
Informative visit and a great experience. The process and history was very well described and the staff was super friendly and spoke excellent English. -Really impressed by their knowledge and it was appreciated that they took the time to talk, explain and share their all they know.
It was very interesting to see how cremant de bourgogne is made. The tour is by audio and reading, and was very good and informative. The man holding the tasting was knowledgeable and charming
Visited with a 6 and 9 year old. The guides kept them interested around the experience even though the machines were not working due to staff holidays. Fascinating to see it all. Great tasting at the end. The gentleman greeting us and doing the tasting (I didn't get his name) was brilliant from start to finish. Impeccable English and he was so lovely with our two boys. They enjoyed their own tasting of Grape and Peach juices in the same glasses, he made them feel included in the whole experience. Definitely one to visit if you're in the area.
Inspiring and inspirational visit in the Burgund-world-of-bubbles. Cremant de Bourgogne is to me a very nice bottle of sparkling wine - and here an excellent and informative presentation of the "story behind the bottle" Great place.
Pierre was so much fun and the wine was good! It was great to learn about the wines and then taste without knowing the winery or the cost.
I really liked the tasting and the wine presentation! It is interesting to see the manufacturing process. Good value for the experience.
Informative tour of the production facility. With a German audio guide. Tastings with 3 Crémants very nice and delicious. Opportunity to purchase... of course.
Very nice tour Honestly, it's a must-do and the tasting at the end is perfect The inspiring journey of this woman is worth highlighting
Very satisfied with our visit; warm welcome; fun visit; very precise explanations during the tastings; we recommend this establishment.
Excellent time, lively presentation, interesting visit. A real moment of sharing. Thank you for your welcome ++ and detailed explanations during the tasting
A nice surprise! An informative tour. A tasting with an invested and passionate person who loves his drink.
Visit under helmet, too bad. Unfortunately, the workshops were under maintenance and therefore stopped. We were not able to actually see how it worked. False communication advertising following the tasting. We found the same products (same packaging, etc.) in supermarkets for less, although this was not what the staff present told us. Tourist scam we fell into.
Personnel super sympa .
Top super visit really good for the explanations not too much or little just what is needed for the processor as well as the history and the tasting at the top
We had booked a tour with tasting of cremants as part of our stay in Beaune via tripadvisor.de at Veuve Ambal. After parking on the large company premises, we presented our booking code to the reception office. The tour began punctually at the booked time at 2.30 pm: An employee of the house led us up a flight of stairs in the building, from where we could follow the entire production process - including the packaging of the cream - via a circular route. On this itinerary, text and images in French, English and German were used to inform about sparkling wine in Burgundy and specifically about the history and fortunes of Veuve Ambal. But what was really great was that you also got this information using an audio-gate device - in our case in German. At the end of our visit we had a tasting of several crèmes. The conversation in the salesroom was conducted in English, there was no special sales pressure. We made a small purchase.
We were a Norwegian couple who ended up in a huge group of French old retirees. The guide therefore spoke French 90% of the time(we do not understand French), and English to us two Norwegian 10% of the time. However, the guide was nice and gentle, and we got to taste a lot.
Interesting and delicious tasting tour at the end accompanied by a smiling and passionate person.
Being on a Saturday the production line was stopped consequently with only audio guide and various panels the visit was not very engaging... Very well instead tasting their cremants which can be purchased at very reasonable prices... Even the little ones get involved in a tasting of non-alcoholic bubbles 😁
Wow, what an interesting visit, what a job to make this beautiful Cremant! thank you for the tasting and see you soon
We had a great time. Very attractive guided tour. Thank you to the staff for their joie de vivre. Tasting at the height.
very interesting visit , being novices , we learned a lot about wine and creaming thanks to an exceptional guide only regret the chain in maintenance
Everything was very interesting...from A to Z highly recommended! beautiful tour with dutch explanations and music very professional And of course DELICIOUS WINES!
Hello. you received us on Sunday, December 8th an extraordinary visit your collaborator is great than happiness a good tasting of your wines Now I find your wines in our stores that I like Thank you again.
From the Welcoming and the end of the visit, everything was perfect. Very interesting tasting without any obligation to purchase. Very good advice from the salesman. Even our teenager was treated to bubbles without alcohol.
Excellent visit. Very professional staff. This address is shared. Very friendly tasting.
Equipped with an audio guide, the tour begins with a series of panels on the history of the Ambal Widow and wine. A little frustration because we don't see much of the factory at the time but it allows us to focus on comments and images. There is one side for adults and another simplified for children (very good idea by the way!). The tour continues with the process of making and packaging the creamer live. We have a good visibility on all the working shifts of the factory (if we visit during the week because on weekends, the factory does not rotate). We are witnessing a magnificent ballet that we never tire of. No time constraints, which is really nice. The tour ends with a tasting at the store. There too, no coercion. We choose what we want to taste. There is even alcohol-free for those who drive.
The visit consisted of a walk over the production line, with automatic audio guides. I suppose there must be few Spanish speakers because Spanish is not among the languages to choose. As we speak French and English, no problem, but.... The 7 euros admission fee includes a tasting of your sparkling: Great Cremant according to his AOC. Since 1975 they can no longer be called Champagne. Like our Sparkling, Cava, etc. The tasting, I don't know. In a few tiny drinks, those offering the tasting seemed to compete with each other to see who served the least amount. And we don't talk about expensive sparkling. About 8 or 10 euros a bottle... Since they put such small glasses, fill them more, although then, after the tasting, what is left over is thrown away. It's more elegant. I guess like us, most visitors end up buying several bottles, which is what it's all about. To sell.
Good trip with fine illustrations from grape to finished cremant. It was educational and not too slow. Subsequent fine wine tasting. You must taste every bubble on the map! Also good alcohol-free cremants for the kids.
It is a very pleasant place to visit because it is rather rare to see a factory in action. The tour is done independently, so everyone can go at their own pace. As for the tastings I usually buy products from the shop for the holidays, to distribute in the family and they are always delighted! The advice is therefore advised by a really qualified and friendly staff! See you soon
