Voco Beaune – Cite Des Vins

Good value for money honestly and a great location off the highway for a stop and really not far from the city center of beaune. It has been renovated 2 years ago so it’s really nice. They have around 8 electric charging spots which is nice too. Unfortunately the chargers were not working well we had 2 that weren’t working which cost us a trip to lidl to get the fast charger there before we went en back en route. The restaurant is very nice too which is great if you travel with kids. Lastly the pool is also quite nice so yes all in all a very nice place we probably will be back..

Highly recommend! Great ambience, decor is amazing, comfortable and charming. Staff were always very polite and helpful. The pool was a great option for the heat wave going on while our stay. Breakfast was good. There’s a river running by just by the side of the outside seating area. Would definitely come again. Also very kind and nice to our 5yo son.

Some places are merely convenient stops along a journey. Others make you wish the journey would slow down. The Voco Beaune is one of those places. Nestled in a peaceful green setting just minutes from the highway, it feels less like a hotel and more like a gentle exhale after a long day on the road. We stayed in Suite 203, a spacious, light-filled trio of spaces with a large sunny balcony overlooking the gardens. It was the kind of space that invites you to linger over a morning coffee, watching the world wake up a little more slowly than usual. Traveling with dogs can sometimes feel like negotiating a compromise between your comfort and theirs. Not here. Our two English Cocker Spaniels, Basil and Sybil (wink to Fawlty Towers) were welcomed as warmly as any human guest. At check-in, the cheery staff presented each of them with a thoughtful amenity bowl containing a ball, healthy treats, and waste bags - a small gesture, perhaps, but one that immediately communicated that they were not merely tolerated; they were expected and appreciated. Throughout our stay, every member of staff greeted us with genuine warmth. Check-in was effortless, service attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel struck that rare balance between elegance and ease. Beaune has long been one of our favorite destinations. We return often to explore its vineyards, discover new wines, and add a few treasured bottles to our cellar. This time, however, we were only passing through on our way farther south. As we sat on the balcony overlooking the gardens, I found myself wishing we had planned differently. Some places leave you rested. Others leave you already thinking about your return. The Voco Beaune did both. Next time, we’ll stay longer, uncork another bottle of Burgundy, and finally make time for the spa.

There are not enough stars to rate this hotel because it is outstanding! The location is fabulous, near enough to walk into Beaune yet tranquil. The rooms are just fabulous! The Spa and Pool area great. The whole atmosphere in the Bar and Reception and restaurant is so relaxed and friendly and the staff are 2nd to none. The food is fabulous . Everybody who works there is happy it’s the ambience created by the owners and the managers. There were many people who were making the journey to and from the UK and using this as a mid stop as well for their journey, dogs are welcome which is a great bonus!
