Just finished a stay at La Maison de Maurice and it was great. Adriana was very helpful and welcoming and the room was well appointed and stocked. The location is terrific for wandering around Beaune and has easy access from the feeder roads into the town. The parking at Republique is very handy and close by and having used it on this stay and in the past there has always been spaces available. As mentioned in some other reviews the stairs are a bit steep so if you are unfit or have a large number of heavy suitcases it might be a challenge but it was not a real issue for us and I am almost 70. We would stay at Maurice in a minute for our next visit in Beaune.
Beautiful setup, amazing duplex room. Loved the setup so much. The sun windows having closing shutters is a great idea. It’s definitely a little cramped around the shower but that’s because it’s designed around the loft space. Loved the coffee pods provided. Only downside would be the stairs; slippery and would be a nightmare to take large suitcase up!
This is an absolutely beautiful guest house in the heart of Beaune. It is very large, with plenty of space, two separate bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. We stayed in the Penthouse, which has a rather narrow spiral staircase leading to it, but with which we had no issues.
There's a full kitchen here, with a large refrigerator, a stove top, and a microwave. Small touches such as wine glasses and an opener are available, along with some kitchen items, such as mixing bowls. There is also a very comfortable living area and a lovely balcony.
The air conditioning was absolutely wonderful, and Adriana (the hostess) provides bathroom amenities, areas to hang clothing, an iron and ironing board, and a large bottle of water to start.
La Maison de Maurice is located in a lovely part of Beaune, within walking distance to restaurants, wine shops, brasseries and patisseries, and all kinds of shopping.
Adriana's communication with us before our arrival could not have been more responsive and concise, and she was incredibly helpful in assisting us with accessing the guest house and knowledge of the surrounding area, and locating (free!) parking.
We would not hesitate to stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Amazing place to stay in the heart of Beaune! Our room was beautiful and clean with exposed timber beams and everything we needed for our stay. We parked for free a few blocks away. We were also able to walk everywhere in Beaune from our hotel.
We can't possibly say enough good things about this place - one of our absolute favorites on our trip to France with our girls. The location in Beaune was perfect, the room itself was large and nicely updated and extremely clean. And the staff was just outstanding! The sister/daughter of the family that owns the hotel was filling in and she helped us with two terrific dinner reservations and also hosted a phenomenal wine tasting for us (there is also a tasting room on premises). And she couldn't have possibly been more charming or more accommodating as well. We loved our visit and will surely stay here when we return!
