Very interesting tour , our guide Mr Piscatelli was well informed and shared his knowledge freely. Well worth the trip.
We picked the lunch option. They picked us up and said they would drop us off down the street from our hotel at 2:00 for lunch at a restaurant. I thought lunch would be on the water in the area we were going. We were picked up at 7:00 and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to pick up the other guests before leaving the city. It was almost 2 hours before we got to the boat. I asked to cancel the lunch option. They canceled it without a refund. Not our best day in Buenos Aires.
Good tour, but the leal came at 2pm , extremely poor. No starter for vegetarian, steak with 30% fat. And cold fries.. No options just set menu with icecream which was tasteless. Lest 90% of meal . We spent $80 for meals , but not even worth $20.
Everything went fine and the guide was very personable. We could use a little more time at Fruitport but it was ok. We had a good time.
Guide was great! Wish we had more time to spend at the port of fruit to shop but entire tour was great.
Very informative booked the tor through Viator never used this company before Highley recommend we had Emails where and when pick up would be times and everything we needed to know
We enjoyed the boat tour of the delta. So unusual. The optional meal was delicious. The picture and “ smart casual” dress was misleading. Old boat with lots of people. Guide Jessica was very good. Answered many questions for us.
a very nice day in all. boat ride was fun but a little crouded. if you visit during the summer, make sure to bring plenty of water.
Amazing how the people live on the river. Martina and the driver were very helpful with my friend, who used a cane
It was interesting to see how people live in the Delta on the boat tour. The tour guide provided the context for the visit regarding the history of development in the area.
Bus to boat to bus tour. The area is fascinating and well worth a visit. We had some time for shopping, and then took the boat tour.
Not worth the price and time. We were picked up at 9 am and were done by 2pm, it is very tricky as it says lunch included if you pick this option but no option to unselected it So totally not worth the trip of more than 6hrs to go on a boat ride on a river that has no scenic views or interesting stops. It is overpriced and the guide was not enthusiastic and didn't keep it interesting for our group.
We had a very enjoyable river tour around a unique neighborhood where the rivers are the roads. We learned about this neighborhood and its many islands, and found the area fascinating.
While it ended being a good experience, we had booked an English tour only to find out that it was a Spanish tour. There were 4 of the 14 guests who did not speak or comprehend Spanish. Gabby our Guide was very accommodating to us but it certainly was not fair to either her or the other guests that she was not informed that she had non Spanish speaking guests on board. As a guide she was wonderful and I would highly recommend her. In addition there was a problem with the microphone and audio system There was English audio on the boat ride. I highly recommend this tour . Very informative!
Nice boat but not enough space on a top. The river was interesting and the story also about the name of the Tigre river, you need to ask it's very surprising.
My friend and I wouldn’t book this trip again. Although the guide seemed a nice lady, she spoke very little English, so for us, we hardly learnt anything. The boat trip was pleasant but not loud enough to hear properly (especially where accents were hard to understand).
We were picked up and returned to Buenos Aires port terminal. The company kept us informed about the arrangements. The minivan was clean and comfortable. Our guide spoke good English and was knowledgeable. Tigre was an interesting town with plenty of shops and food outlets. The riverside was very pretty. The catamaran river trip was 1.5 hours long and gave us the opportunity to see the different areas of the delta.
The tour was as advertised. The tour guide made the tour very interesting with her knowledge of the area, We were able to see a great about duirng this excursion and the boat ride was relaxing and very interesting. The entire group enjoyed this excursion.
Experienced and friendly guide. Could have had more time for shopping in Tigre. Nice bus and driver. Nice boat and guiding in 3 languages.
Our tour guide was awesome the driver was excellent A good overview of Buenos Aires Delta Tigre is a beautiful area of the city
The tour in theory is great, the guide was great. They were however 40 minutes late on collection - no apology Also there were 3 collections, however on return, they chose 3 random locations in the city to drop you, not your hotel ? What is the point of that
Boat tour was great as expected but sitt Ng in cafe for 45 minutes at closed fruit market - waste of valuable time when there other attractions- have visited previously and saw other other things.. could have visited sites on the way. Guide’s English could be better and lacked detailed information on the way
This was a nice addition to our 10 day tour of Brazil, Iguazu Falls and Argentina. We had all day to wait for our evening flight home, so we decided to take this tour . It was interesting and we would reccomend this tour, plus the lunch option, our one last delicious steak in Argentina!
Pick up 45 minutes late, shopping area where most stores were closed, no seating with my husband on the Boston, sporadic English translation from tour guide. Disaster at restaurant as we had to order through the tour guide: options for lunch and beverages not cleat, waiter impatient. So angry that he refused to acknowledge our thanks. Miserable.
The boat was not the luxurious catamaran shown in the photo. The guide, lovely as he was, was very difficult to understand by the mostly English speaking tourists. We were dropped at a tourist market place which was mostly closed ( always is on Tuesdays) for 40 minutes with very little to do. The lunch was barely edible, were not allowed to look at a menu, and limited to an empanada for entree, and steak and chips or steak and salad. Not one of the 6 in our group had a tender steak, they were all extremely tough, and the salad was largely inedible. The blew from the boat was interesting, but that was the only good part of the trip
Loved the market and the boat ride. Very interesting to see all the people living on the river. Wish we had more time for the market and leave out walk around art museum.
The description of the tour was very vague and misleading. The 2 stops at the museum and the market were a waste of time. Our guide was new and although she spoke English OK she spoke too fast and the PA system on the bus was average. The boat trip was OK but not on the boat shown on the website. Overall it was overpriced for what was delivered.
Our tour guide was very informative and upbeat. We had a small group and she took care of everyone, also a fun time on the bus. Locations were very nice.
We had Sophie as our guide. She was great. The driver Leo was extremely helpful as I use a walker. This tour was fascinating. I loved it. The river was very interesting and I would do the tour again. The marketplace had great handmade items. I wish we had more time there. Other than that I highly recommend this tour.
great tour with boat tour and leisure visit to Tigre. The pidk up from your hotel is convenient and lots to see and do.
It was interesting to learn about the life around Tigre, Delta. Unfortunately, we got there on Monday and most of the businesses were close. The museum at Tigre was beautiful.
Bait n switch. Not the boat in the photos, you just get on a bus (it's clean though) with other people who are paying half of what you did to wait in line for a one hour public boat where you are the last ones to board for less than an hour circle. Total skip. The "guide" was nice but totally unnecessary. The lunch isn't at Tigre or part of the tour, and not needed for transport. Everyone else came back with no lunch, we felt tricked and got dropped in BA obelisk for a lunch voucher (which was good and staff there were nice). Just do it yourself, this is a shame.
Our guide was very informative and the trip enjoyable. I had to sit outside as there was a strong fume smell inside the boat
The tour guide (Agustina) was very knowledgeable and friendly. The bus was on time and we had a great day, both in land and on the boat.
Cancelled my tour because operators did not respond to message about return time and site us ambiguous but my schedule is not. Very unfortunate!
The bus and guide were terrific. But a lot of downtown traffic to see very little. There is so much to see here. Pick this tour company but visit another attraction.
Very nice and relaxing tour. You take a bus from BA to Tigre (about 40 minutes). We stopped in Tigre and had 45 minutes to shop around the small kiosks, then took a boat for a 1-hour ride in the river/delta then back to the bus and back to BA. Overall relaxing and experience, the guide Lionel was EXCELLENT. I was the only non-Spanish speaking person in the trip and he made sure to translate everything to me and make sure I’m included in everything.
I have been in Argentina for almost 5 weeks, from the south to the north and this was one of, if not, the best days of it call. It was a trilingual tour and Sophia, the tour guide was excellent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She was incredibly clear, concise and detail-oriented. She is very talented Of course the places we visited were spectacular including the city of Tigre but especially the catamaran, weaving through the river deltas. The caballeros on the boat were also fantastic. If you are in BA, this is a "Must Do"
It was a very relaxing, organized and informative tour. Everything went as planned and the guides were very friendly. I would highly recommend it!
This tour packs a lot in a short time. Great opportunities for photos, shopping, and seeing a different side of Argentina. The shorter duration means you can be dropped off in Recoleta to wander the cemetery and still catch a Tango show at night, if you have energy left from the tour. Much more than we expected. And the service was fantastic. We accidentally went to the wrong meeting place and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss the tour. Our guide was great and we all loved the tour! We look forward to returning to Tigre. This was hand down our favourite tour.
Great trip and had a horseback ride with it as well. Tour guide was hilarious and incredibly helpful. Name was Marcello. Food and wine could not be beat either.
The tour with a small group was excellent. We enjoyed the guide, the environment of Tigre, the boat ride, just everything. The guide also helped with a telephone call and gave other recommendations.
We had a wonderful day with our tour guide, Daniela. She took us around the north area of Buenos Aires and visited Tigre. It is a nice city with local arquitecture and an interesting market. We took a boat around the different delta islands and took many pictures of nature and houses. It was very relaxing indeed and the transportation was comfortable. Thanks.
We had a wonderful morning with our tour guide Daniela. We visited the north of Buenos Aires and learned a lot about history and culture. We took a boat around Tigre Island and enjoyed it very much. The landscape was very beautiful and locals very nice. We visited a local market where we could buy some souvenirs for our family. çand toured around Tigre City, too. We returned to our hotel in a comfortable van. . It It was an excellent experience and enjoyed it very much.
That morning could not have been better, sunny day, not so hot, no so cold. Our tour guide showed up on time and we headed to the van to start our tour to Tigre Delta. The ride on the boat was very relaxing. We enjoyed the landscape and nature and the peculiar houses on the different islands. Also, the local market there. We had a wonderful time with friends. I really recommend it.
We took Tigre Delta Tour from Buenos Aires and we had a wonderful day. Our guide, showed us around a beautiful area. We enjoyed the boat trip, very relaxing and Mercado de Frutos. We took a lot of pics. Our return to our hotel was comfortable. Thank you for this lovely day I had with my friends!
We were very excited about this tour. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and we shared this tour with some other pax on a van. We passed by Palermo Woods and we learned a lot from Daniela, our guide. Once we arrive in Tigre Delta, we took a boat and had approximately one hour trip around the area. Tigre is very beautiful and it was very relaxing and we enjoyed nature and the breeze aboard the boat. We also visited the city and a local market, Mercado de Frutos and bougth some local things there. I can't explain how grateful I am for the attention and kindness we received from both, the guide and the driver. It was a wonderful tour!. Thanks.
Delightful trip. Unexpected beauty and enjoyable trip down river & delta. Great stop at Frutillar Port, would have liked more time there to explore great varied marketplace
Good guide. Very nice cruise. The actualactua started at 10, one hour took to pick up the pax, that was expected. The tour last 4.5 hours net, as planned.
