The tour was interesting, and long enough. However, the boat we were on was more like a commercial ferry than the boat they show in the promotional email. It was difficult to hear the commentary, because of all the people, and it was difficult to get a good spot outside to take photos. Again, because of all the people.

Itinerary
Kick off your day with a 9 AM pickup, then head straight to the city’s port where a sleek, first-class motor launch awaits. Hop aboard and set sail on a 1.5-hour adventure across the Río de la Plata! Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of Buenos Aires’ skyline, its lush northern neighborhoods, and the winding waterways of the Tigre Delta—all while sipping on refreshing drinks and enjoying the ride.
Enjoy an optional snack at a local restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.
Next stop: the charming Puerto de Frutos! This lively little pier sits along the banks of the Luján River in the heart of Tigre. Back in the mid-20th century, it was the go-to spot for unloading fresh fruit from the Paraná Delta, which was then whisked off to Buenos Aires. Today, it's a vibrant marketplace where history meets local flavor—perfect for a stroll, some shopping, and soaking up the riverside vibes.
Take a leisurely stroll down Victorica Avenue, a scenic riverside promenade that hugs the banks of the Luján River. Along the way, enjoy the views, feel the breeze, and make your way toward the elegant gardens that frame two local gems: the Tigre Deliberative Council and the stunning Tigre Art Museum. It’s beauty, culture, and charm—all in one picturesque walk!
Back in 1909, a group of locals got together with a grand idea: to create a club where the community could come together to play sports, relax, and have a good time. But they didn’t stop there—they added a touch of European flair by including a stylish casino, making it the ultimate hotspot for fun and leisure in Tigre!

The best part of the tour was our guide Sabrina. She was attentive to all the guests, extremely knowledgeable and informative about the tour sites and the city of Buenos Aires in general. We did not particularly love the two stops after the boat tour to Tigre. We would have preferred to stay in Tigre and explore there. Recommend the snack option which was really good! Finally the boat did not resemble the boat on the advertisement - very little outdoor space, and no seating on deck. Very disappointing
Hernan our guide and Guillermo our driver were the best. Hernan is so passionate about Argentina and listening to him was so enjoyable as his passion came through. Kind, funny, and overall really know what someone wants in a tour. I appreciated the safe driving from Guillermo and his good choice in music for the bus, which was very comfy. My pickup and drop off ride was separate and my driver was kind and a safe driver as well. All around an excellent experience!
Prompt pick up from nominated Hotel. Water offered on the bus. Excellent tour guide who was very informative and kept the group well informed.
Really great experience! Our tour guide Oriana was so knowledgeable and lovely! We had a delightful time!
A fantastic short day trip from Buenos Aires covering something a little different to the city's central areas. Our guide Enrique was excellent and clearly very passionate about his city. Would recommend to anyone!
This tour was a fun way to see Le Tigre and the surrounding island communities. Marina was highly knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting information about the history of Le Tigre. The boat ride was fun and a nice way to see the waterways and river homes. The only downside was that shops in the Puerto de Frutos area were closed due to the Argentina World Cup game that day. Highly recommend this tour as a way to see areas outside of Buenos Aires.
It's a nice tour on a day with good weather. Our tour guide (Eileen) and drive (Alejandro) were excellent.
Our flight back to the US did not leave until later in the evening and we were looking for a longer tour to consume most of the day. This tour fit the bill very nicely. Our tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. The boat ride was very calm and scenic. The "snack" provided at the restaurant was filling and tasty.
We were picked up with the van right at our Air BnB. Our guide Veronica spoke perfect English for us. She was knowledgeable and energetic. The van took us to El Tigre where we enjoyed the boat trip around the islands. There was an audio of information in a few languages. We went to a lovely restaurant in El Tigre for a lunch - called a “snack”. It was empanadas and drinks. We then walked a short way to a tourist shopping area with nice furniture, gifts and household accessories. We appreciated being there mid week once there were no hoards of people as on the weekends. Highly recommend Veronica and this day trip.
The tour was a great way to see a completely different side of Argentinian life just less than an hour outside the capital city. Very interesting way of life.
A very relaxing time and a chance to see another side of Buenos Aires area with an excellent captain,Clara and a very engaging guide,Nicholas
We really enjoyed our family of three trip to Tigre. Veronica was a great and informative and fun tour guide which made the excursion enjoyable. Together with Alex the driver they were a great team.
Maria gave us a wonderful tour! She was very patient and responsive to our requests! I would very much recommend this tour!
We had Veronica and again, she did a wonderful job. There was lots of information as well as just the right amount of time to explore.
A comprehensive tour taking in a boat trip along the coast northwards and into the fascinating Tigre Delta, a trip to the old casino area, a refreshment stop for some local delicacies and a visit to a genuinely very reasonable market.
Nice half day trip to Tigre. I will not put it as my first choice if you have a short stay in Buenos Aires. The tour guy was great. Nice 1 hour boat tour to show how people live in the islands. It is interesting.
There is a half hour tour bus ride to Tigre where we board a boat that takes us up.and down the Tigre River reviewing homes, other boats and rowers on the river. Our tour guide and driver were great. The tour guide gave us ibteresting historical facts. You also meet people on the tour or we did. 🙂
Everything was perfect from the hotel pick up & return. Thurs 12thy March Amelia, our guide, was a young enthuisastic bubbly personality, with a passion for her job. The tour itself was as described and most interesting. Confirmation emails etc., were spot on.
The weather cooperated for us and we had a super day on the water, up to the delta islands that makes up northern Buenos Aires. The commentary was very interesting and the guide Florencia knew the best tips & tricks for us all.
A nice boat ride to the amazing Tigre River and delta area. Our tour guide was wonderful. We were transported in a very comfortable van.
A perfect way to see sights outside of BA. The boat tour portion was the highlight of the outing. Highly recommend!
The boat ride along the Tigre River was a relaxing way to spend a morning. We learned about the history of the area and walked through a neighborhood. Most of the tour is spent on the boat just looking at the homes and businesses on the island. We did have lunch after the boat ride, then headed back to the city.
Informative bus ride. Relaxing and peaceful boat ride. Friendly driver and tour guide. I recommend the snack option.
I'd say get the ticket from there, it's less than half the price.
Good tour. Highlight was the boatride through the Tigre delta and the stop at the shopping venue. The prices at the shopping venue were fantastic; be prepared to buy. Also, sign up for the snack option. The empenadas (provided to go by a restaurant at which the tour stops) were excellent; among the best we had in Argentina. On the downside, too much time was spent outside a museum we did not for some reason enter.
Great trip it’s like the Henley on Thames of Buenos Aires. Out tour guide Amie was the best tour guide in 50 years of travel. A mate’ ( the drink) historian it was so interesting listening to her stories, so engaging and enthusiastic. Loved the boat trip the empanadas and the shopping but we loved Aimee the most xxx
Very difficult to communicate with tour company! On our first try, there were serious thunderstorms from 8am til 1030am so I canceled. Company refused to reschedule us (2) til next day unless we paid another USD 100. We did .Our guide Leandro was charming and professional The bus ride to the pier was comfortable and our fellow tourists were pleasant company. On the second day weather was splendid. The boat holds about 100 people even though we were a private tour of 6 persons. Kinda crowded and no outdoor seats on boat. It was over 80 F / 25C.The ride was 2 + hours and then we stopped at town. We had modest light bites at a lovely restaurant in the town. The food quality was quite disappointing. Then the same nice bus took us to a nearby market area. which I personally found of no interest. That stop was 40 minutes. During the boat ride we saw the Delta de parana, a muddy river with many holiday homes and boats. We along the way. Rowing seems to be a popular past time there. All quite pleasant but not interesting. This tour company is greedy this was not worth 300, or even 200. A fair value would be 100. '
Ale was an amazing guide! She was incredibly friendly, kind, and informative. She also happily accommodated our bilingual family (my Spanish is weak and my in-laws dont speak much english). Her Spanish and English were both clear and easy to understand but more importantly her friendly nature made the tour a very enjoyable experience.
The tour was better than expected. Ami our guide was the best. If you are in Buenos Aires I highly recommend this activity.
Ami led an outstanding tour. She was enthusiastic and very informative about so many aspects of living along the Tigre Delta. We had a delicious lunch at a very nice rowing club and a walk about to the market in town. Ami was also a great help in directing people to buy certain Argentinian items. This is a tour not to be missed to see another side of life in Buenos Aires and highly recommend it to all.
What an interesting tour of north Buenos Aries. So many beautiful parks and great architecture. Then a lovely boat ride on the Tigre Delta. Tour guide Sabrina was terrific and knowledgeable and our driver Pablo was good and kind. So happy we did this tour.
Not suitable for those with mobility issues ie wheelchairs. Otherwise, for a small group of say 8 it was perfect. A small coach and good guide Sabrina very knowledgable.
If you want a nice relaxing day with no stress this is perfect. Our trip guide was very good and knowledgeable but spoke a little too fast to understand.
A very relaxing ride up to Tigre. The empanada snack was tasty and I was happy that our group decided to get them to go, so we could spend more time visiting the market. Important to note that the market has very limited shops open on weekdays and if you truly want to see it in action, then book your tour for a weekend.
It was a great experience and we enjoyed lunch at a lovely restaurant. Everything was well coordinated and we were well looked after.
If you have time to do the tour it’s good. Was great to see another area of Buenos Aires. I would suggest that with the option of lunch that it is actually in the delta at one of the local establishments to get vibe to be in the delta. The Fruita market is not what we really expected and really only worthy of a drive by. Also with the lunch if ordering the beer drink - suggestion that it is the local beer and not German beer (need to experience the local when travelling).
A lovely tour that is unique. Seeing something outside the big city was refreshing. Michaela our tour guide was extremely helpful & knowledgable. I would have like more time at the Fruit Port, for shopping & eating.
Great tour if you only want to tour Tigre delta without the BA city part. Our guide Victoria was excellent - enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to show off her beloved city. At least I did not know there was such an interesting place near BA and we were very happy we went.
Aimee and Gustavo were THE BEST! Aimee has so much knowledge of the area and cultures. Gustavo's very professional driving got us through some tight spots and kept us very safe and on time! Both are friendly and funny and so entertaining! This was a great tour! FIVE+ stars! Do the Tigre Delta tour!
It was a good tour of the Tigre River. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to help everyone.
Wonderful boat cruise in Tigre. Did not see any tigers, however. Also saw some of the wealthy places in that area.
Wonderful experience. Tigre was so beautiful and serene. It was my favorite thing to do and see yet and it was a much needed break from the city. Emilia was very cheerful and knowledgeable. Gracias para todo! Thank you for everything!
Not much going on until we got into the river channel. Nice trip up the river and a couple other interesting stops in Tiger. Victoria made the trip special. You can't help but be happy when she is around. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Dilemma is a great guide. She was on every detail to be sure we enjoyed the tour. TIGERE is very pretty and very worth going to visit. Our driver Gustavo also was a very comfortable safe driver.
A wonderful tour thanks to Oriana who ensured that we all had the best time and learnt lots about Tigre . Beautiful scenery, a very good lunch and a super interesting stop at what was the old casino, now an art gallery., Oriana spoke perfect English and was very charming and professional., Thank you.,
Really good trip ...... Tigre is such a great place to visit. The snack was excellent and our guide was superb - very informative.
The tour guide was amazing. We learned a lot of fun facts. The tour is well organized. The boat ride was delightful. Great tour!
Shelly was a great tour guide she left no stone unturned very social able, talkative, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. Despite the rain she made the best of it. Gave us free time (if you didn't choose the snack option) to shop, eat much appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and seeing what was beyond the city of PalmeroSoho. Would recommend
Sofia, our guide, was phenomenal!! We learned a lot about the Delta and its history. The snacks at Vivanco were exceptional!!
