What an amazing evening at The Asado Experience!! As an Argentinian and a huge fan of asado, I was already excited to try this, but I can genuinely say it exceeded all my expectations. I had heard so many great things about it, and now I completely understand why people love it so much! First of all, the setting is beautiful. You're welcomed into a real family home, full of history, warmth, and little details that make everything feel so personal. It's nothing like going to a restaurant. The whole experience feels like being invited over for a special dinner, where the food is incredible but the people around the table are just as important. I love a good asado, so I definitely came with high expectations, and every single course delivered. The quality of the meat was outstanding, everything was cooked perfectly, and you could really appreciate the care that went into each dish. I'm a HUGE fan of mollejas, and these were absolutely incredible!! But honestly, between the matambrito, the lomo, and everything else we tried, I couldn't even pick a favorite. Not a single bite disappointed! What made the night even better was the company. I shared the table with a wonderful family from Colorado who were visiting Argentina after meeting so many Argentinians through skiing in Vail. We ended up talking about absolutely everything: traveling, languages, music, theater, movies, and all the little cultural differences that make meeting people from around the world so interesting. It was so much fun seeing them discover our traditions, especially when they went from being skeptical about morcilla and mollejas to absolutely loving them! And of course, a special mention to Topi, our amazing host!! Her energy is something else. She's funny, welcoming, incredibly passionate about what she does, and has this natural ability to make everyone feel like they've known each other forever. The conversations never stopped, the atmosphere was so relaxed, and the whole evening flew by without us even realizing it. I would recommend this 100%, whether you're visiting Argentina for the first time or you've lived here your entire life. I went expecting delicious food and ended up having one of the most fun and memorable evenings. Thank you Topi and the whole team for such a beautiful experience!!

I absolutely loved The Asado Experience!! First of all, the setting is just beautiful. You're not walking into a typical restaurant, but into an actual family home, which makes the whole evening feel so much more personal and special. There's something really lovely about being welcomed into someone's home, sitting around a table, and sharing a meal with people you've only just met. Every little detail is so thoughtfully taken care of, from the atmosphere and the table setting to the way each course is presented. You can tell how much effort and love goes into everything. And the FOOD!! Coming from a family that's very involved in the cattle industry, I really appreciated the quality of the meat. The cuts were fantastic, perfectly cooked, and honestly up there with some of the best I've had. I also loved that the evening wasn't just about eating, but about understanding the traditions behind Argentine asado and why it's such an important part of our culture. Even as an Argentinian, I found myself learning new things and appreciating familiar traditions from a different perspective. We shared the evening with a super sweet young couple from London, which made everything even more fun. I loved getting to hear about their travels and seeing them discover all these little things about Argentina that I've grown up taking for granted. The conversation was so easy and natural, and there was never an awkward moment. A huge part of that was thanks to Topi, our host, who was AMAZING. She's so warm and genuinely passionate about what she does. She has this way of making everyone feel comfortable from the very beginning, bringing people into the conversation, sharing stories, and keeping the energy of the evening going without ever making it feel forced. You can tell she really enjoys meeting people and sharing her culture, and that enthusiasm is contagious. I think what I loved most was how authentic everything felt. Asados in Argentina are about so much more than meat. They're about gathering around a table, taking your time, telling stories, laughing, and enjoying the people you're with. And that's exactly what this experience captures, but with an extra level of attention to detail and quality that makes it really special. I would 100% recommend this, not only to tourists wanting to experience a proper Argentine asado, but also to Argentinians who think they've already seen it all when it comes to our food. I went in thinking I knew pretty much everything about asados and left with a huge smile, a very full stomach, and such a lovely memory. Thank you Topi, Kat and Dan for such a fun evening!!
This was an amazing start to my trip in Buenos Aires. Firstly Belen (owner) went out of her way to make the time work for me coming off a flight. Then had a fabulous welcome and great engagement with Topi who enthuses about the Asado way of life, all in a family home where we met the fabulous owners. This is really a truly differentiated experience!
I’m Argentine, so I honestly thought I already knew what a good asado was. I grew up with it, so I never really thought there was much more to discover. But The Asado Experience completely changed the way I look at something that has always been such a normal part of my life. As soon as I arrived, I felt really comfortable. The house is beautiful and has such a warm atmosphere that you immediately feel at ease. It doesn’t feel like you’re going to a restaurant or some organized tourist activity. You actually feel like you’re going to someone’s home. The food was obviously the star of the night. And being Argentine, I have to say I’m pretty picky when it comes to asado. The meat was really, really good, and I loved seeing how everything was prepared and hearing about the different cuts and traditions behind it. It made me realize that there are so many little things about asado that I’ve always taken for granted. But what I liked the most was the people. Jose, our host, made the experience outstanding with all the stories and explanations she shared throughout the evening. It wasn’t just about telling us what we were eating, but about explaining the culture, the traditions and the meaning behind it. Everyone was from a different place, so we ended up talking about everything. Food, travel, our countries, funny stories, and random things that just came up during dinner. And I actually learned a lot from them too. I went there thinking I was going to show other people a little bit of Argentine culture, but I ended up discovering things about their cultures that I knew nothing about. That was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole experience. It felt like everyone was bringing something of their own to the table. At some point during the night, I completely forgot I was at an “experience.” I was just sitting around a table, eating good food, laughing and talking to people I had met only a few hours before. And I think that’s what makes it different. I left with a full stomach, so much knowledge and feeling extremely grateful. And I also left looking at asado a little differently. Something that feels so ordinary when you grow up with it can actually be pretty special when you stop and see it through someone else’s eyes. I’d definitely recommend The Asado Experience to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. And honestly, even if you’re Argentine, I think it’s worth going. You might be surprised by how different something so familiar can feel.
Amazing experience. I felt at home! I would definitively recomend it. Amusing, interactive, great food! Bravo
I had THE best time at The Asado Experience. An invitation to leave your phone behind and stay present, such a luxury these days! Every detail was SO carefully taken care of, every tiny moment made magical and special, it is hosted in the most gorgeous house you could ask for, cozy, elegant, timeless. It truly makes you feel like you're living the true and unfiltered Argentinian asado at the same time you're learning the whole process of how it actually is made, by local Argentinian hosts! Topi and Cata, special mention to them, they make the whole thing super fun and spontaneous, like having an asado with your best friends. I felt like I was an Argentinian in my backyard sharing the secrets and customs of generations before me. If you've never tried asado before, you MUST visit this place; and even if you've had it a hundred times, I promise The Asado Experience feels like the very first time. Their goal is for you to have the best asado of your life. I personally have had asado an infinite amount of times, but this was different: it is not only a meal but a story, an inmersion, an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and learn something new while you make new friends. The guests who attended with me, Jackie, Cami, Maria, Abdullah, all incredible people I wouldn't have met hadn't I come here! Because that's what asado is all about, staying connected and being together!
I had an unforgettable evening at The Asado Experience. What makes it so special isn't just the incredible food: it's the feeling of being welcomed into a real family home. From the moment I walked through the door, it felt less like a tour and more like being invited to a friend's dinner party. Our host, Topi, was absolutely wonderful. She struck the perfect balance between being knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely warm, making conversation flow naturally throughout the evening. There were just three of us in the group: myself, another guest from San Francisco, and Topi—which made for an incredibly intimate experience. We spent hours chatting about life, culture, and Argentina over amazing food and wine, and by the end of the night it felt like we'd known each other for years. Every detail was thoughtfully curated. The house itself is beautiful, full of history and character, and you can immediately tell how much love goes into creating this experience. The quality of the meat was exceptional, easily some of the best beef I've ever had, and every course was paired perfectly. Nothing felt rushed; instead, the evening unfolded naturally, allowing everyone to truly enjoy the meal and each other's company. If you're looking for more than just a meal, this is it. It's an authentic glimpse into Argentine hospitality, centered around incredible food and even better people. Thank you, Topi, for making us feel so welcome: I’ll remember this evening for a very long time.
The Asado Experience was one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had. Rather than dining in a restaurant, you're welcomed into a beautiful family home where every detail reflects generations of hospitality and a genuine passion for sharing Argentine culture. Our host, Topi, was fantastic from start to finish. She was energetic, engaging, and made everyone feel instantly comfortable. We shared the evening with a wonderfully spirited couple from Baltimore, and before long we were all swapping travel stories, laughing, comparing adventures, and enjoying conversation that flowed effortlessly. It felt like old friends gathering around a dinner table instead of strangers meeting for the first time. The food was outstanding. Every cut of meat was cooked to perfection, showcasing the incredible quality of the ingredients, and you could tell that nothing was left to chance. The attention to detail extended far beyond the food: from the presentation to the stories behind the family home and Argentina's asado traditions. Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and authentic. What truly sets this experience apart is the people. Topi has a gift for creating an atmosphere where everyone feels included, relaxed, and genuinely connected. We came expecting a great meal, but left with wonderful memories, meaningful conversations, and a much deeper appreciation for Argentine culture. If you're visiting Buenos Aires, don't miss this experience.
This was much more than just a meal—it was a true Argentine experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated, making everyone feel comfortable and part of the gathering. The quality of the food was outstanding. Every cut of meat was perfectly prepared, and the selection of wines was excellent, giving us the opportunity to experience authentic Argentine flavors at their best. A special mention goes to Sofía, who guided the experience beautifully. Her explanations were clear, engaging, and full of passion for Argentine culture and traditions. She created a relaxed and enjoyable environment while making sure every guest felt included and well taken care of. If you’re looking for an authentic Argentine asado experience, this is something I would highly recommend. A wonderful combination of great food, excellent wines, and genuine hospitality.
What an amazing grilling and dining experience in a beautiful historic home in belgrano! The "hands on" experience of preparing a meal on the asado with local experts was definitely memorable, an event we will try to recreate for our own family when we return home. The entire meal was beautifully prepared and served, paired with excellent selections of argentinian wine. The chef was extremely engaging, a knowledgeable teacher and a great storyteller. Thank you so much for the hospitality, and we look forward to joining you again!
Belen, Topi, and the team provided the most authentic, culturally immersive food experience I’ve ever had. The setting—in an actual home, the stories, the social mission—created an unforgettable experience. The experience of meeting other guests from other parts of the world and forging new connections and friendships. I highly recommend it, and wish the team lots of success and impact.
Fantastic experience. Sophie was an awesome chef and leader in our night. We will do it again on our next visit.
Cannot recommend this tour enough. It set in a great home in a great neighborhood leading to a truely homelike asado experience. Sophie our asadora meastra was awesome. Her abilty to tell funny and interesting stories about what asados mean to Argentinians made it a wonderful experience and must try in Buenos Aires.
I recently had the opportunity to try The Asado Experience, and from the very first moment, I knew I was in for something truly special. If you are looking for the most authentic, heartfelt, and memorable way to discover what a real Asado Argentino is all about — this is it. This is not simply a cooking class or a chance to taste exceptional Argentinian meat and wine, though it is certainly both of those things. This is a genuine chance to live an Asado from the inside, exactly as a local would — set in Belén's own family residence, a traditional home carrying over 100 years of history within its walls. Family-owned, female-led, and built around premium ingredients and exceptional Mendoza wines, it is everything a traditional Sunday Asado looks, feels, smells, sounds, and tastes like — and then some. (And as an Argentine myself, trust me — I know exactly what I'm talking about. 😉) After years of travelling — through America, Europe, Africa, and beyond — I have come to believe that one of the best ways to truly get to know a culture is around food and people. Argentina is no exception, and nothing embodies that more than an Asado. The first thing you need to understand is that in Argentina, an Asado is so much more than a meal. It is about connection, laughter, conversation, and engaging all five senses at once. You sit down, you talk, you listen, you eat, you drink exceptional wine, and somewhere along the way, strangers become friends. That is the soul of an Asado, and that is exactly what The Asado Experience captures so beautifully. From the very first moment, that feeling starts immediately. I was warmly welcomed by Topi, the Host and Grill Master, into the family home — a greeting that felt genuine and personal. She took the time to introduce every guest and member of the TAE team, and members of Belén's family, who add yet another layer of authenticity to the experience. Expectations were thoughtfully set, and drinks and premium wines were introduced early so everyone felt completely at ease. Award-winning wines — such as the renowned Catena Zapata — were poured and savored while Topi walked us through the art of Argentine grilling: the techniques, the traditions, and the carefully selected cuts. From the beloved Choripán and controversial Morcilla to the Matambrito and Mollejas, each cut with its own story. We also got hands-on, preparing a fresh chimichurri sauce. After some more talking and fun with the guests, a perfectly slow-roasted, medium-rare Tenderloin stole the show, accompanied by fresh-grilled vegetables — simple, extraordinary. And because no Asado is complete without a sweet ending, Dulce de leche makes its well-deserved appearance. From the first glass of wine to the last spoonful of Dulce de leche, the entire experience has something truly rare about it — the kind that makes anyone, no matter where they come from, feel like they are coming home. None of this would feel the way it does without Topi — Host, Grill Master, entertainer, and the warm beating heart of the entire experience. Her gift for making every guest feel like family is what elevates The Asado Experience from great to truly unforgettable. And behind every seamless detail, Gloria's quiet care and dedication ensure that everything — seen and unseen — is taken care of. There is something deeply moving about witnessing foreigners laugh genuinely and speak with true admiration about our country, our traditions, and our culture. It feels like a tender gift for the heart. Belén and the entire TAE team should feel incredibly proud of what they have built — a passionate and beautifully authentic tribute to Argentina, its people, and its women. To Bridget, Alex, Jim and Johnny — it was a genuine pleasure meeting you and sharing such a memorable experience. I truly appreciate your openness and kindness. I hope our paths cross again on your next visits to Argentina!
We had such an incredible experience here! The home is absolutely beautiful, and it felt so special to be welcomed in for a true asado experience. Tipo was phenomenal—she walked us through the different cuts of meat, how each is prepared, and how it all comes together for the meal. What really stood out was how she shared the deeper cultural meaning of asado—bringing people together, enjoying the sobremesa, and creating a sense of connection. You can tell how much care and knowledge she brings, and it made the experience even more memorable. We also loved meeting Soledad and hearing about her journey. Thank you for opening your home and sharing such a meaningful and authentic cultural experience with us. Highly recommend!
I was born in Argentina but have lived in the U.S. for over 20 years, and I booked this experience to brush up on my asador skills and reconnect with our traditions. It was outstanding. Belén, Sofi, and Bachi are wonderful hosts — incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and fun. They teach not just the recipes, but the technique, the fire management, and the culture behind a true Argentine asado. I left with new tricks, great recipes, and a genuinely authentic experience. Highly recommended! 🇦🇷🔥🥩
As a confirmed carnivore, I was in heaven. The ladies who run the experience give a full background on the culture and importance of Asado within Argentine life. This is not just a BBQ. The meat was all delicious with the opportunity to try cuts we had not had before but a full explanation on how to cook it according to the cut and the different heat areas on the grill. Taking time with friends and the good wine that was also provided was truly a memorable experience and a wonderful way to enjoy Argentina. I am very jealous that they get to do this all of the time.
First of all I don’t do reviews. But bro I just had to do this like this is so great that I had no choice but to spread the Lv I was given n experienced at this spot. We went to experience a part of Argentinian life and we did. Women grill masters which are few in Argentina but our first was with them (we got lucky hit that jackpot). Grill masters are mostly men dominated in Argentina but the title of Grill master is earned from trust and skills. And we got skilled ladies who worked hard n earned that title from family n fren approval spreading more Asado experiences. Food was so fresh and explained in detail of what and which part it comes from. The taste of what you will look forward to and some more surprises yassssssss. Service was “Perfecto” that’s the word my fren was obsessed w/h there lol. We had such an experience words can’t describe. Grill master explained the history behind Asado and Argentina. While the grill master was preparing and grilling. She was with us heart to heart and anytime I felt not so sure. Well she was there to explain things to give the push I needed (I’m super picky n got a kids palate I’m told by ppl around me). Still tried every single piece n lvd it. The ambiance was so chill. The home was so cozy n beautiful you felt so relaxed. I think my fren was drinking wine like a thirsty man who ran a marathon. The way grill master (Asadora: female grill master in Argentina) made us feel n visualize like we were chatting with family n sharing the food together totally felt home. Also the “Asadora” doesn’t sit with us until the last piece of food on the grill gets taken out. Then we talk ukno like family what’s happening in life n what’s gonna happen. See totally family get together. With all that I wrote ukno the admission fee is worth ittttt. The time was spot on. “Perfecto” timing of food getting grilled till it’s ur belly yasssssss.
From the very first moment, The Asado Experience felt like much more than just a meal. The warm and cozy space, hosted in Belén’s own home, makes the experience feel personal and intimate. At times, I genuinely felt like I was sharing an asado with my own family, even though we had only met a few hours earlier. The food was exceptional. The quality of the meat and the variety of cuts were outstanding, each one perfectly cooked and delicious. What made it even more special was the respect for the traditional steps of an Argentinian asado, beginning with choripán and achuras and only then moving on to the different cuts of meat. Sofi, “the grill master”, made the experience even more special. She was incredibly warm, considerate and open to conversation, creating a space where meaningful and sensitive conversations flowed naturally. Her presence alone made everyone feel comfortable. Another highlight was how clearly everything related to the asado was explained. From the different cuts to the cooking process. Every detail was shared with patience and care, making it both easy to understand and truly enriching. By the end of the meal, I almost felt ready to make my very first asado. One of the most beautiful parts of this experience is the people you meet. Guests from different cultures arrive as strangers and leave connected. As Sofi jokingly said by the end of the lunch, we had reached “friends level 1”. Lastly, something that deserves to be mentioned is that this is a women-led experience. In Argentina, it’s not very common for the asadora to be a woman, and seeing Sofi owning that role with such confidence and passion is truly inspiring. It speaks of empowerment in the most natural and genuine way, and it made me feel proud to be part of this experience. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to enjoy a truly Argentinian asado, with everything that this implies: sharing meaningful conversations, and exceptional meat.
Topi and Sophie are great hosts in a private house and their format is waaaay too heavy on the cultural significance where they lecture on about it for over an hour while you stand out on the patio and they cook the food, we also tried the Argentine Experience, which is the original which Asado has tried to copy but alas there is no comparison, Arg Exp is much more fun and more complete No comparison actually, one exp are real pros, the other wannabes
Our 2 female chefs (asadoras) were wonderful! We were a total of 7 people, we got to know each other pretty well and had a very good time with a lot of laughs! The food on the grill was a sight to see! And, of course, everything was delicious!
Belen and Sofi created an extraordinary ambiance. It really was a great experience where I got to try all the must eat cuts in Argentina, drink high-quality wine, learn a thing or two about grilling, and meet some amazing people. Definitely 100% recommended for anyone coming to Buenos Aires.
We had an amazing Asado Experience. Sofi and Topi did an awesome job. The atmosphere was perfection. Food and wine were amazing. We grill every week but we learned so much that will help us go to the next level.
I had been looking forward to joining The Asado Experience in Buenos Aires for several years. This women‑run business offers a refreshing and inspiring contrast to the traditionally male‑dominated world of Argentine asados, and I suspected they would raise the bar. I just didn’t realize by how much. Although I’m no asado expert—my Santa Maria grill at home is still waiting to reach its full potential—I signed up to learn the true techniques behind an authentic Argentine asado. The four hours I spent with chefs Topi and Sofía exceeded every expectation. Alongside a small group of guests, I learned the essentials: how to properly start the fire 🔥, how to maintain the perfect heat, and how to cook exceptional cuts of meat sourced from their lifelong family butcher—a secret they guard with admirable loyalty. I now understand why. The experience was invaluable. Topi and Sofía created a warm, welcoming atmosphere as we enjoyed an unforgettable meal paired with outstanding Argentine 🇦🇷 Malbec. The advertised three‑hour experience effortlessly stretched into four, thanks to the wonderful conversation, the camaraderie among guests, and the steady flow of wine. If you’re visiting Buenos Aires, this experience deserves a top spot on your itinerary. Just be prepared to linger—you won’t want it to end.
Wonderful, memorable experience for our family of 4. Two adults, 2 teens. Topi was a great host - warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Food and wine was delicious - some of the best grilled meat we had on our trip. We loved the experience of being in someone’s home - a really nice change from being in restaurants! Would highly recommend
Felt like we were visiting family. What a great experience to see what a true Argentina Asado is all about. Food was great
The hosts were terrific, the experience extremely memorable and educational, and the food was phenomenal. No regrets
It was a true Asado experience in a lively family home with wonderful hosts. A great experience! Food was top quality and included instructions.
Josephine and Delphina were great hosts. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They were great at explaining everything from the importance of asado in the Argentine culture as well as every cut of meat and how to properly cook it. The home was very welcoming and I they paired good wines with the foods.
We had heard a lot of fantastic things about "The Asado Experience" from some of our friends who live in Argentina, so as someone who loves eating steak I thought that we have to give it a go. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed to Belen's home (which is historic and beautiful) and were given a brief overview of her family heritage which was incredibly interesting! Then we were offered a glass of Argentine Wine, Beer, or Softdrink and got into the class (from here the drinks were flowing, I never had an empty glass). We went through all the premium cuts of beef that we were going to cook & eat today and learnt extensively about how the team at Asado Exp choose the cuts and why and also we learnt about the the asado process (from how to start the fire and maintain the embers then how to prepare the meats and how much coal/ wood to use etc). It was so informative but it was also relaxed, if you want to sit back and enjoy - no problem and if you wanted to work on the grill then great!, any questions that we had were answered with expertise by Belen and her team. I could go on and on about how great the experience was, but just go and see for yourself! Thanks so much to the team for accomodating us, we were a group of 3 and the exp is designed for a few more people as the chosen cuts of meat for cooking are designed to share with 3++ people but that also was no issue for the team. I will be back in December <3
Lovely and awesome experience: from the beginning learning all the world that surrounds the Asado, and then tasting incredible meat. The girls that runs these lunch are wonderful, professionals and very easy going people. Recommend the asado experience to every single person!
I traveled with a friend to Argentina for a ten day stay. When we arrived at The Asado Experience, it was so much better than I had imagined. In this life few things are better than expected. The setting, the food and of course our delightful Asadora or grill master Sophie. Not a day went by on our trip that we didn’t refer back to that magical night. And it was more than dinner for us. We both consider ourselves to be good cooks. Yet the slow and precise cooking method took us by surprise. Such a different approach to cooking meats than is standard in my country (USA). The value is very ckear. Do it !
As an Argentinian I can assure you this is the best asado I’ve ever had in my life. First off, I felt 100% welcomed from the moment I stepped in the house, and the set up made it easy to look into the parrilla and learn the techniques that were being taught to us. Topi was a great hostess, making us feel comfortable, showing us every cut of the asado, explaining everything in detail, answering our questions and cracking jokes with us. The food was excellent, with the best cuts of an asado being presented to us and explained in a way it made us all eager to know more everytime. The cuts were cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious Argentinian wines and we got to make our own sauce of chimichurri!! I’ll make sure I try it at home. Later we ate an Argentinian much loved dessert, the perfect way to finish the asado. Now for the most important part of an asado: the people. The hostess, Topi, did a great job introducing herself and breaking the ice between us. I got to meet new people and make new friends from the UK. We got to know each other, we ate and laughed together having time of our life's during the asado!! In conclusion, we finished the experience with great food in our bellys, a lot of cooking learned, and new international friends!! If you’re looking for an experience of a real asado as an argentinian would have it, with all the traditions explained, this is the experience for you.
We had such a brilliant evening. Lots of great chat, amazing food, lovely wine. It's a really fun way to spend an evening and we learned lots about how to perfectly cook various cuts. Topy was an amazing host and made the whole evening a memorable one. Dale boca!
We had a terrific experience. We were delighted to realize that we were actually eating in someone’s beautiful house. We joined one other couple whose company was engaging and delightful. Sophie, an engaging and knowledgeable grill master took the four of us through an evening of learning how to grill various prized cuts of meat and taught us the social aspects of Asado. I think the four of us were enchanted by her! We all enjoyed ourselves so much that we overstayed our allocated time by an hour…. Sipping delicious wine and laughing a lot . We ate outside and I recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket if the temperature is cool.
Excellent experience! The staff are extremely welcoming and the food is excellent. I highly recommend it. Even as a solo attendee, I found the entire experience welcoming and warm. I will do it again when I am back in Buenos Aires.
I've been travelling for over 5 weeks in the Americas. This was definitely one of my top highlights. I spent the evening learning and immersing myself in the Argentinian pastime of Asado. I have watched @the_asado_experience for a while now behind my telephone screen. It was a surreal experience yesterday evening when I was greeted by the lovely Asadoras and the owner, Belen at her 3rd-generation family home. It was inspiring hearing Belen's story and what drove her to start the business. It was great to see a female entrepreneur succeed and thrive. The attention to detail from start to finish was meticulous. Details matter! The quartet of female Asadoras radiated warmth and togetherness, which made us feel so welcome. ❤️ We had a lovely group of people from the US and The Netherlands. Everyone was so well-travelled, culturally educated and great company to be around. I learnt a lot from the Asadoras. The food, wine and experience were "Top Shelf". I'll definitely come back here when I return to Buenos Aires. My cup overflows! Thank you @the_asado_experience! #
The Asado Experience was easily one of the best things I did in Buenos Aires. From the minute I arrived, it felt like being welcomed to an Argentine family gathering. The hosts were friendly, authentically Argentinian, and they knew their craft inside out. We learned how to build the fire, grill the meat perfectly, and make an amazing chimichurri. The food was incredible — Argentine cuts of beef with everything timed perfectly. What really made it special was how the team provided a relaxed and connected environment. It wasn’t a stuffy class, it was a fun night with great people, amazing food, and meeting and quickly getting to know complete strangers. They told us that the three hours would fly right by and that was absolutely true. If you’re looking for something truly local in BA, this is the one to book.
Belen and The Team knows how to convey the true meaning of the Argentine Asado, the culture and all the elements that make up the family experience. Sofi, Delfi and Ja are very good hosts.
The Asado Experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, our host Topi’s energy and warmth made everyone feel instantly at home. She welcomed us into a beautiful family setting that felt genuine and intimate, the kind of place where stories flow as naturally as the wine. The evening unfolded through five courses, each one telling its own story about Argentine culture and the ritual of the asado. Everything was bursting with flavor, it’s impossible for me to pick a favorite. Each course exceeded the last. It’s really inspiring to see women dominate the grill with such class and care. It really motivated me to try grilling for myself. But what really set this experience apart was the people. Around the table, we met travelers from all over the world: a couple from the US, a solo traveller from Canada, and a couple of friends from Russia and England, and by the end of the night, it felt like we had all known each other for years. Conversations flowed easily, and Topi had a natural way of connecting everyone, making sure each guest felt part of something special. Beyond the food and wine, there was a deep sense of authenticity, a glimpse into the heart of Argentine hospitality. You could feel the care, the pride, and the love poured into every detail. To anyone wondering whether to book this experience: don’t hesitate. It’s everything you imagine and more.
I don’t even know where to start this review, because there are so many beautiful things to share beyond the obvious: how delicious the food was!!! The experience took place in a gorgeous old house in Belgrano (one of the prettiest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires if you ask me). The house at first might seem a bit intimidating, but it quickly turned into a warm family home when the hosts lovingly reminded us to make ourselves comfortable and feel at home. The table was beautifully set to welcome us, the weather was perfect, and Topi’s kindness and patience stood out as she walked us through every cut of meat, every element, every little tip and secret, all of which I took notes on, hoping to try someday when I finally dare to make my first asado (though I can’t promise good results). What I’ll remember most is the human warmth of the group I shared the experience with. You arrive with high expectations but without knowing who will be sitting next to you, and that’s part of the magic: being open to surprises, to good conversations, and to connection. We entered as six strangers about to share an asado, and within few minutes it felt like we’d been friends and knew each other for many years!! That’s what this beautiful experience creates: the chance to enjoy an exceptional, top-quality asado in a stunning house, surrounded by people who may start as strangers but soon feel like old friends sharing a truly special meal together! If you are in Buenos Aires i most definetly recommend visiting the Asado Experiencie, trust me, you wont regret it!
As a NYC born and raised in Bs.As. Capital, I have knowledge of asado life with family/friends. I still keep that tradition in USA where I reside. Topi, our host, gave us by far the most gratifying moment today with attendees whom we did not know, yet, indeed became friends. Gracias, TOPI...sos una capa, flaca. Thank you all for making this experience an unforgettable one....which anyone visiting Argentina must be part of. Abrazos a todos!!! y vamos x mas.
If you want to have a unique and unforgettable experience during your trip to Argentina, this unforgettable country, you can't miss "The Asado Experience." It not only brings together all Argentine tradition in a meal but also shows how argentinians are. The experience begins with a warm welcome from the hosts, all women, who share jokes and personal stories about the "asado", along with interesting facts to make guests feel part of the team. Then, drinks are served, including Coca-Cola, high-quality wine, local brand beer, and of course, water. Next, the barbecue process begins; it's clear that the organizers know exactly what they're doing, with no improvisation. The flavors are introduced naturally over time, and guests can even help with the preparation, such as making "chimichurri". The best part is when everyone sits at the table and the food arrives. Besides enjoying delicious grilled meat and vegetables, we share an incredible moment of vulnerability and empathy. We introduce ourselves and share what we want in front of the group. In my personal experience, this was a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life. I opened up to this group of strangers as if they had been lifelong friends, and they did the same with me. It was very deep and enriching. That’s what I take away from the experience — sharing it with others. I believe that’s what the barbecue is all about.
Today I had the amazing opportunity to be part of The Asado Experience, and it was truly unforgettable. Our host, Jose, was incredibly welcoming and kind, guiding us through every tip and trick to make the perfect asado. Before coming here, I had been to many asados, but I never really understood the background behind them. This experience is the perfect way to learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about this Argentine tradition. Even if you already consider yourself an asado fan, you’ll discover fascinating details happening behind the grill that you probably never noticed. And if it’s your first time, there’s no better place to start! You’ll get to take part in the process, from making the delicious chimichurri, to salting the meat, and even testing its tenderness. You can watch the meat cook up close, ask about the fire, and any curiosity you might have. Jose is always happy to answer questions, making sure you understand each step of the process. When it came time to eat, I was delighted by the amazing quality and flavor of every cut. I even tried some meats I had never tasted before and loved them all. It was clear how much care and attention Jose put into every detail to make the asado truly special. Another thing I absolutely loved about this experience was meeting people from all over the world. It felt like a cultural mix around the same table everyone sharing their stories and comparing similar dishes from their own countries. It was such a fun and enriching exchange. Belen’s home is very charming and cozy. It has that warm, family atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The neighborhood is calm and peaceful, and even though it’s not far from the city center, you completely forget you’re in the middle of busy Buenos Aires. To sum up, everything about this experience, the learning, the people, the cultural exchange, the atmosphere, and of course, the delicious food, was absolutely sensational. Whether it’s your first time in Buenos Aires or your tenth, you’ll definitely learn something new, meet great people, and enjoy incredible food.
The Asado Experience was immensely enjoyable and an ideal choice for those seeking something beyond the typical tourist activities while immersing themselves in Argentinian culture during their visit to Buenos Aires. From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with genuine warmth, like reuniting with an old friend or joining a family gathering. The experience takes place in a traditional Argentinian home, offering an authentic glimpse into local life and customs. As the host prepares the food you are taught not only about Argentinian cuisine, but also about the country’s history, people, and cultural nuances. This exchange creates a deeper connection and makes the experience intellectually stimulating and endearing. The asado itself is delicious. Perfectly grilled and full of flavor, carefully paired with high quality wine that brings the meal together. However, what truly sets this experience apart is the atmosphere, which owes much to the sincerity and charisma of our host, Topi. Right from the start, it's like you are hanging out with an old friend. Her thoughtful explanations are both easy to follow and engaging, sharing personal experiences with a playful touch. By the end of the evening, you don’t only leave satisfied with the food, but with the genuine feeling that you have a place to return when you travel to Buenos Aires again. A lasting impression that few experiences manage to create. While the activity is lovely to enjoy with a partner or friend, it’s just as entertaining for solo travellers, as the environment naturally encourages connection. In short, The Asado Experience is not just a cooking class, it’s a cultural immersion that lingers in your memory long after it ends.
The Asado Experience was absolutely unforgettable. It’s hard to put into words how special it is, because it’s not just a meal, it’s a cultural experience that you feel deeply from start to finish. The setting feels warm and authentic, as if you were invited into a local family’s home. It’s the kind of atmosphere you simply can’t find in a restaurant. Our host Topi was incredible. She’s not only an amazing asadora, but also someone with deep knowledge and passion for what she does. She explained every step with enthusiasm and made us feel completely part of the process. The food was beyond delicious, every bite had so much flavor and care behind it. The combination of incredible meat, local wine, and great company made it an experience I’ll always remember. Thank you to the whole team for creating something so meaningful and special.
A relaxed evening where the talented youthful host shared and demonstrated the traditional Argentine Asado cooking of meat.
From the moment we arrived, Belen and her team welcomed us with such warmth that we immediately felt like part of their family. The home, full of history and authentic details, was the perfect setting for the evening. As locals, we can confirm that the spirit of a true Argentine asado was present at all times. Every step of the evening was carefully thought out: from the explanations about the culture of the asado, the traditions surrounding it, to the passion with which each cut of meat was prepared. The flavors were outstanding, and the pairing with Argentine wines elevated the experience even more. What impressed us deeply was the meticulous attention to detail: from the selection of the charcoal, the quality of the grill, the excellence of the meat and wine, the chimichurri, the vegetables, all the way to the lemon—everything was chosen with special care. You could feel the dedication in every single element. What made the night even more special was sharing the asado with Arnold and Patricia, a Canadian couple with whom we had an absolutely wonderful time. The conversations, laughs, and exchange of stories added another layer of richness to the evening, making it feel like an international gathering of friends. On top of that, discovering that this is a women-led business with an all-female team was truly inspiring. The dedication, professionalism, and passion that Belen and her staff put into every detail can truly be felt. If you are in Buenos Aires and looking for something authentic, unique, and deeply Argentine, don’t hesitate: The Asado Experience is a must. We left with full hearts, happy stomachs, and the certainty that we had lived something we will never forget.
From the warm welcome from our hosts upon arrival, every moment of The Asado Experience is one we will treasure. The pacing of the day was perfect and we learned a lot about the cultural importance of Asado through both the informative presentation of the cuts and the genuine experiences shared by the hosts and local guests. The food was delicious and paired with an excellent wine, and the conversation flowed as at a genuine Asado, and we were privileged enough to try some special cuts we otherwise wouldn’t have tasted on our trip. We left feeling we had made heartfelt friendships and we will never forget our day spent with Pilu and the team!
The Asado Experience is a must-do when in Buenos Aires! We spent an enjoyable evening learning how to prepare and then eating amazing food with great company. From the minute we walked through the gate, our host Paloma made us feel genuinely welcomed. Thank you for a wonderful night!
