Tango Porteño Show With Optional Dinner In Buenos Aires

The service was excellent. The food was good. The show was excellent. I would highly recommend it if you are in Argentina.

We chose the Empanada and beverage package with the show. Good wine, with a bit if foid to keep you steady, & great view if the stage. Excellant mix of live music, tango, rythmic dance and a bit of singing. We arrived at 9pm and the show started just a little after 10.

good tango show. we chose the option of no dinner . however in hindsight i would recommend taking dinner as the seats are better versus the balcony view

Great show with a mix of dancing and singing. Very talented performers and discrete service during the show as well. It’s a large auditorium so some views are a little obstructed and its not an intimate venue if that is what you are looking for, but it is well organized and entertaining!

The theater is big and impressive. It is right next to Teatro Colon. The show was good overall. Maybe the singing part could have been shorter and the dancing part longer, but we were happy with the experience. We did not have the dinner. The show started around 10 pm and one could order drinks

Tango Porteño is a massive, beautiful venue right by the Obelisk. We bought last-minute, show-only tickets for $40. It’s a decent value, though there are cheaper spots in town if you book earlier. The show itself was wonderful—highly talented dancers, great singers, and a powerful live band. However, buying show-only tickets means you are seated in the balcony (arrival around 9:30 PM). The balcony is cramped, first-come-first-served, and the heavy metal railing drastically blocks the view of the stage. We spent the night either leaning forward or trying to peer through glass panels. If you want a great view, pay extra for the dinner package to get the floor seats. If you just want a last-minute show and don't mind a compromised view, the performance is still worth seeing!

Great food, outstanding performance and really well organized. Service was a well oiled machine from start to the finish. Performance gave a great glimpse into argentinian culture and we were happy to have experienced it. Price for the VIP experience was really worth it.

I spent the evening with my partner and thought it would be a great idea to do the drinks package. It says that the view is “preferential” but we were placed at the very back of the theatre with lots of people seated on our tier ahead of us. It was very difficult to see as someone who is below 6ft tall. The red wine was only a low quality Malbec and a white Chardonnay. I opted for beer, although despite it being unlimited drinks, they capped the amount of beers. The table next to us spoke through the whole performance and the waiters didn’t do much to stop them interrupting the performance. Everyone seated around us were telling them to be quiet and they still continued. As the show finished, we waited for our uber outside the premises. A homeless man approached us demanding money. When we declined multiple times he spat on my partner. The security didn’t pursue him or do much to help us. Very disappointed with this and we would recommend watching another show in Buenos Aires, mainly due to how the venue is run. I still give credit to the performers. They were fantastic!

Tango Porteño is a great show and a fun way to experience Argentine tango. The dancers are incredibly talented, the musicians were just amazing, and the whole atmosphere feels very Buenos Aires. Definitely worth seeing.

I got scammed using this app, selling tickets that don't exist. I bought a ticket they cancelled, and now I can't get my money back.

I purchased a ticket with guaranteed good view seats, and all night drinks. We were first in arriving, we got sat in the back seats, were told seats in the front were reserved for those who bought tickets months ago. In addition the tickets included all drinks, yet staff said they only included beer and house wine, which i cannot have. No options were offered, nothing was done. Staff were nonchalant. We left after being there for 30 minutes. Will not recommend this show to anyone.

Pickup experience was less than stellar. The van we were picked up in was cramped and hot and several seats were broken. I had the VIP package at the theater. The seat was one section up from the stage and allowed for the perfect view. The three-course meal was mediocre at best. The steak could have used any amount of seasoning. Thankfully the drinks were flowing. The show itself was fantastic. Great combination of singing and dancing. I would go again but would skip the dinner portion.

The performance is very good, but there’s a lot you need to know in advance. We had to be ready for pickup at 19:15, we had the vip no dinner option which included entry, drinks, 2 empanadas each. We were seated in the last section in the back (far from the stage) and you are seated at tables that include 8 per side so if you’re not the ones seated closest to the stage you will be moving your head all show to look around the people in front of you. The real important thing you need to know is that despite entry at 20:00 the show does not begin until 22:00. We had 2 hours of just sitting and the room is very loud making conversation hard. I would suggest getting the meal with the ticket so you’re seated closer and you have something to do during the wait.

The show was great! The service was excellent including a flawless pickup and delivery from my hotel. The food was decent.

The show is very much memorable from the start to the end. We really have seen the charming of Tango. And the whole show is programme in a good rethym of one climax after another. We enjoy the show so much!

Absolutely fantastic show. Music, costumes and the variety of tango dance moves were exceptional. Don't miss it.

Excellent stage show in every way we opted show only happy with view professional dancers and the musicians were superb drinks well priced - pictures expensive so didn’t buy but would have if cheaper especially a digital copy

Very nice show! The action was non-stop and entertaining. They would move from one act to the next with no time in between.

Great show. Cheap wine and drinks. Staff is a little pushy always trying to sell. They like to interrupt the show to try and sell you pictures. Worth a ticket if you are on a time crunch.

I had booked the VIP dinner and show option with free private hotel pick-up and drop-off. We had a great table for the two of us. We really enjoyed the dinner and the show. We were given the option of buying photos of us with two of the performers for US$15 each. I bought three photos which didn’t come with digital copies. The only negative was the free private transportation. It turned out to be a taxi and it didn’t arrive until 8:30 pm for the pick-up. The same driver also drove me back to the hotel. The driver didn’t drive up to the entrance of the hotel to let me out. Instead, he stopped prior to the entrance and gestured me to pay the fare on the meter. I told him that it was free and left the taxi. I wasn’t impressed by this attempted scam.

It was a very fun experience with excellent dancers and musicians, the food was very good and was served without delays. A must-see in Buenos Aires.

Había comprado un paquete que me ofrecía espectáculo, cena de tres platos y bebidas ilimitadas. Lo que aparecía en el bono en italiano era verdad a medias. En realidad tuve que pagar para no quedarme sin comida. Habría preferido pagar más antes que arruinar mi velada discutiendo. En la práctica, se ofreció un paquete falso . No creo que compraré nada más de Viator.

In a theater on the mythical Avenida 9 de Julio, meters from the obelisk, this show offers a tango show with optional dinner. The place is very well put and the show is high standard, both in terms of dancers and singers. Although it is designed for tourists, it can also be used by locals, as the prices are not exorbitant. The food (typical Argentine dishes) is standard, but well served. I find it a highly recommended sight, especially for tourists who want to have a quick view of typical Buenos Aires food and music.
