This show was amazing!! Don’t miss it! Food was great we had steaks done just right! Dancing was awesome didn’t know you could move as quickly as they did and in complete unison Sexy dancing!!

The dinner was fabulous along with the wine. We really enjoyed the talented dancers in each tango performance they put on. Each dancer was so precise and exceptional. We enjoyed the evening so much and I would highly recommend.

Centrally located and near the city's theater. We opted for the Executive Level dinner option on the recommendation of the ticket booth to get good seats for the show. Solid three course meal with drinks and dessert akin to any of the city's excellent grills. Excellent service. Large dining room/theater. The 1.5 hour show was a mix of tenor solos, group dancing, and live musical interludes, Unfortunately our "good" seats did not offer the best view of the show. We were unfortunate since the other people at our table were a large group. Didn't help that the show allows filming. At least I was able to see part of the show from the cell phone screen of the lady in front me as she consistently thrust her camera in my field of view. I actually enjoyed the concert more than the dancing because I had a better view of the musicians on the second higher tier of the stage.

This was an amazing show, start to finish with awesome food and drinks. Do not miss this one..

Friendly helpful service throughout, good food, professional dancers with amazing live musicians in support. Left with an appreciation of what tango is all about. Unanimous applause with each segment of the show. Would certainly recommend!

This was an all round fantastic experience. The tango show including professional dancers, singers and the orchestra were amazing. We also had dinner which was really good and served at table with plenty of wine and water. The serving staff were engaging and helpful too. So glad we booked this show as it was the perfect ending to our trip to Buenos Aires.

The dinner was excellent. I recommend the empanadas and the steak. The red wine was excellent, and the wait staff was proactive in keeping your glass full! The show started while we were eating with a mime who did magic tricks. It was nice. The tango was awesome. The operatic singing in Spanish I could have done without, but I'm sure the dancers need to catch their breath. Likewise, the band's music solos. We purchased tickets online, and accidentally selected a date 1 month early! Chanella was awesome and got us great seats without charging us extra! I highly recommend, it was one our highlights on our 3 week trip! A great value.

Excellent Show. Very talented entertainers. The food was great as well. This was well worth the money 💰. My seat was however, not very good. I was first table from the stage and off to the far right, which means I could not see all of the performances. I wonder if other Tour Companies were allocated the better seats. 🤔🤔🤔

This tango evening would have been worth it at twice the price. Seamless pickup and drop off (although we didn’t skip the line, we waited with everyone else…but the line moved quickly). Dinner was ok, but the performance was spectacular! Truly a once in a lifetime cultural experience with multiple moods and costume changes. The orchestra was fantastic and I was like, “I can’t understand a word the singer is saying but I’m about to cry anyway.” So beautiful! Go!

If you’re looking for a Tango show and dinner, this is a great choice. They picked us up at our Air BnB in Palermo then dropped us off after the show. The dinner was very good and the show was so entertaining. A really fun and entertaining evening!

Booked the show direct with venue with dinner and collection from hotel with return. Impressive organisation, collected as stated and whisked through theatre to seats. Our driver came to our table to pick us up. Short magic show and the amazing tango performance. Set menu with 3 starter options 3 mains and 2 desserts. As Argentina the steak is a must but make sure you are clear on how you want it done as English is not easily understood. Unless ordered rare it may be too dry as rare seems to be medium rare. Drinks included and free flowing. We heard stories from others of pick up at night not happening or experience cancelled if booked late and from agencies.

Excellent from beginning to end. Great communication from the tour operator, we were picked up at our hotel on time, ticket collection at the venue was straightforward. We were seated immediately and had a good table, fantastic choice of 3 courses - the steak was great! The show was spectacular, we loved the whole evening! Highly recommend.

A brilliant evening which is executed very well, from the transfer of your hotel to the very entertaining evening. The show is amazing with professional dancers and orchestra. Food delicious! and flowing drinks. Just book it!!!

Good dinner. Show was so-so. Wish that there had been maybe more solo tango dancers. Maybe some background on the tango.

We enjoyed our wonderful dinner featuring a huge tender cut of beef for my husband, chicken with very tasty veggies & sauce for me, topped off with a delicious chocolate mousse creation! The servers were friendly & very efficient, and our wine glasses were never empty all evening! The Tango show was amazing- beautiful music provided by talented musicians & singers. The dancers & all performers put on an incredible show! Thank you to Tango Portofino for a delightful first evening in Buenos Aires.

The dinner was very good. Of course in Argentina get the steak! The wine was plentiful. The show was fun to watch. Started out with a funny Tango-magician. Then los of tango dancing, singing and the 6 piece orchestra also played by themselves. I have one comment, we were told we would be picked up at 8 pm. Our driver did not get us until 8:40 pm. Seems like we were the last pickup point, but we were not told that. The show was right across the street from our hotel, so we chose to walk home rather than 40 minutes in the van.

A well organised experience with a pick -up and drop off at our apartment. A very professional show with an enjoyable dinner with wine or any other beverage. We would absolutely recommend this show

What a fantastic experience. The theatre is beautifully laid out so no poor seat for viewing the show. Food is served before the show and is extremely good. 3 courses and plenty of choices for food and drinks. The show was tremendous. The skill of the artists in their performances was outstanding.

I have waited a long time to see tango in Argentina. The tango I saw was great but there was too little of it in this show. I did not need the interlude act. I wanted more dancing.

Picked up from hotel at designated time. We had a 3 course dinner and drinks were included (Wine, Spirits, Beer, Soft drinks etc) with no limits. Show was very good

Tango itself was wonderful, very entertaining, but the food was very disappointing. Theater is lovely . Serving staff were friendly.

The show was underwhelming compared to others in the area, go to la ventana, madero tango or los angelitos instead. The food was unedible, I could not finish it even tho I was hungry. The venue is badly designed, has poor audio quality and depending on your seat you might not even be able to see anything. Total waste of my money & time.

A more commercialized experience, but with good food and an excellent show - comparable to Moulin Rouge in Paris. The theatre is also right on one of the main streets in one of the best areas in Buenos Aires.

The show was a great representation of Tango on a grand scale. Everything was well organized, the food was great and the dancers and musicians were outstanding. Don't hesitate to book this show!

My husband has a mobility scooter. This theater is fully accessible. He was able to drive the scooter to his seat. Wonderful!

Wonderful tango show and delicious dinner. Must experience while in Buenos Aires. The first bus had to be replaced because of a flat tire but it only took a few minutes to get a replacement bus. Friendly driver, I didn’t get his name. Excellent experience all around. Gracias para todo! Thank you for everything!

Fabulous tango show! Only removed a star for the food- pork shoulder was very dry a served cold. Appetizer and dessert were decent.

Very good evening. We had a decent 3 course meal - as it was a mass serving you couldn’t expect the same quality as local restaurants but it was still good. Flowing drinks all evening. Staff were friendly. Show was good

Good choice of menu, food was good but not fantastic...our steak was over cooked a bit and a rather tough cut, so a little disappointed....but band and dancers are very talented. A nice evening out...and we saw a Tango show in Buenos Aires! Who gets to do that?!

This was a fabulous Tango experience. Much more than anticipated. The meal was very good, the service was tiptop but the show , the singers and dancers were superb. Let's not forget the orchestra who lifted the roof. From the arranged pickup to the drop off after the show the service was excellent. An absolutely tremendous experience. In addition, the husband of the second couple has a serious sight impairment. I notified Viator of this and I requested that this be taken into consideration when seating us. Believe me when I say that on arrival we were lead to a front row table, mid stage. Viator...thank you so much for your consideration.

Best night out for a long time took this trip on advice from hotel reception. Dinner was good drink non stop beer wine and water never ending. The show was incredible never seen anything like strictly professional dancers would look like amateurs. The price was really good less than £80.for 2. Anyone looking to do a tango night look no further you won't be disappointed, forgot to say transport included both ways

Despite arriving late to the venue , we were put on the wrong bus at our hotel. We had an excellent evening. Food was delicious, a good choice of menu. Service was attentive and very drinkable wine was free flowing. The show was outstanding. Excellent dancers, a singer and brilliant band. All in all a great night out

Amazing tango programme with a delicious 3 course meal and unlimited beverage. Do not miss it when you’re in Buenos Aires. Our driver Walter for Bus 19 picked us up on time and waited for us after the show. It was an excellent experience one will never forget.

Every detail exceeded our expectations- from the hotel pick up to the FRONT Row Seats. This Tango performance and dinner was SO Good! The incredible orchestra, tango dancers, singers and other performing acts was 1 1/2 hours of complete entertainment. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!

A perfect evening for a dance lover, music, lover, or to enjoy unique entertainment in Buenos Aires. The singers were great, the musicians were top-notch, and the tango dancers were probably the best in the country. The food was surprisingly good too.

Well worth the experience!! Driver arrived in the allotted time in a clean minibus. The venue is wonderful with art deco features and like stepping back in time. The food was very good and a vegetarian option with plentiful wine and the staff were lovely The show is fantastic and well choreographed I chose to take a taxi home a bit earlier instead of waiting with the masses outside to get back. Highly recommend !

Overall the logistics around the tour worked well. It was an ok show but nothing special even though we were told that this Theater is supposed to be one of the better. Also we did not see very well from our seats so it might be worth booking directly. We were 2 persons and we were seated in the middle of an eight person table with people you dont know. Finally the food was tasteless and some of it cold when it arrived at our table.

Great dinner and show. The Tango was theatrical and entertaining. The communication on shuttle pickup could have been better. We were the only one in bus that spoke English. And this was supposed to be English guide. Qe took Uber back to the hotel.

The show was amazing and kept us entertained. We ate dinner rolls, steak, potatoes, with appetizers, dessert and wine. The shuttle bus picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. Our seats were also amazing with no obstructions.

We booked this dinner and tango show based on a private tour guide’s recommendation. It wasn’t cheap at USD$100 per person. We thought it would be an intimate setting with a delicious steak dinner ( steak was promised). We were told we would be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We again assumed (incorrectly) that it would be a personal service but it was a large bus with several other stops en route collecting about 46 passengers. The dinner/show was a huge disappointment. It was held in a large theater packed with diners at tables with mass produced food. Soup was okay. The steak was tough ( no vegetables as is common in Argentina) and some sort of potato. Alcohol was included so we had a glass of white wine which was palatable. Dessert was the tastiest course. The show commenced promptly at 10 pm. We lasted until 10:45 then caught an uber to our hotel. The tango dances were good but there were a lot of other acts - so it wasn’t just Tango. The music was live but often had no melody- just noise. Fortunately my husband felt the same way as me and when he suggested we leave, I was delighted.

More than dance, an Argentinan ballet. We were blown away by how wonderful the show was. My wife and I started with (perhaps) the best steak we've ever had, and we've been to Charlie Trotter's and Ruth's Chris. Everything was well prepared and well presented. Tripadvisor got us the best up-front floor seats so we had the very best view of the dancers. Would definitely say this is a must-do for your stay in Buenos Aries!
