Such a unique experience to see the Togo tango show! The show was the perfect length - not too long and not too short. Would recommend!

Itinerary
Experience an unforgettable night of elegance and passion in the exclusive Puerto Madero district with the acclaimed Rojo Tango Show at the luxurious Faena Hotel. Upon arrival, you’ll enter through a discreet doorway that leads down a sophisticated corridor lined with shops and restaurants, into the intimate cabaret theater where the show takes place. The setting -crimson lighting, a mahogany piano, and plush red velvet chairs—creates a captivating atmosphere. If you choose the dinner option, enjoy a gourmet three-course meal paired with premium Argentine wines. If you opt for the show-only experience, simply arrive in time to take your seat and enjoy the included drinks. The approximately 90-minute performance traces the history of tango, from its roots in early 20th-century cabarets to the evolution of tango nuevo, popularized by Ástor Piazzolla. The show features a live orchestra, powerful vocalists, and five couples in period costumes performing breathtaking choreography.

I don't expect to see any better tango dancing than this - stunning. The production is beautifully presented, with gorgeous costumes and tasteful eroticism. I appreciated the presence of live music rather than recorded, and it was lovely to hear the Piazzola pieces included. Full marks.
The transportation, food, wines, service and show were wonderful. Unfortunately, seated on the platform next to the band, I probably had the only seat in the small cabaret room which had the view restricted by a column. This only affected those parts of the show which took place on the bar top (spoiler alert). The seat wasn't sold as restricted view and it only became apparent part way through the show. Otherwise brilliant.
The show itself was fantastic, however the food was average and I had to make my own way to and from a pick-up point as apparently staying in a hotel in Palermo was too much. This meant that late at night I had to find a taxi to get back to my hotel. For the price I paid, which was exorbitant, there was not value for money. I felt ripped off
Well oiled show and dinner with very well organized transfers. As long as you realise that this is designed for a tourist and has nothing to do with actual tango dances you will enjoy it. We definitely did enjoy it Dinner was just OK.
Had an absolutely fantastic time from the food the show the setting and especially the company would highly recommend lovely people and very welcoming city
Show was good. Place was very tight and small. Food & service was satisfactory. Hotel pickup was good. We had asked for one hour earlier pickup from our hotel which to our disappointment was not honored. Show price is on the expensive side
A wonderful experience and even had vegetarian options! Show started at 10:15 and went until 11:30 pm. Recommend doing dinner and the show for the full experience.
The experience was not worth the price of the ticket. Our seats were crammed in the back with an obstructed view to the dancers and the band. While the dancers are professionally trained and exceptionally talented, the show was very kitschy. The description of the show on their website and internet didn’t meet expectations.
The performance re dancers, musicians and singers were superb, every step and move were so sexy and yet elegant. Costumes were pretty too. Only drawback was the food was at best mediocre.
We enjoyed the food and performance. In fact these were much better than expected. The downside was that the configuration of the theater made it virtually impossible to see dancers’ legs and feet. If you aren’t sitting in the front row, your view of the stage is obscured by people sitting in front of you.
I went expecting a very touristy tango show but was thrilled to enjoy an excellent touristy tango show... The show is located in a small cabaret theater inside the Faena Hotel in the Puerto Madero section of what I call "new" Buenos Aires. The show is expensive - about $200 @ person and included roundtrip transportation from our hotel. Wine is also included throughout the show. We were picked up a little late but timing was no problem. The show lasts about 75 minutes (it says 90 mins on the website - but I thought 75 was right) and includes dancing, singing, and music. The costumes and dancers were very interesting and lovely to watch. I read where some reviewers had difficulty connecting with their driver after the show but we had no difficulties. But it is late, dark, crowded, and unfamiliar...so I can see where the after-show-pick-up can get tricky! TIP: Eat dinner ahead of time at the trendy El Mercado restaurant which isn't 100 feet from the Rojo Tango show stage.
I was upset with picking up and dropping off at hotel. I was left stranded outside after the show. mind you its midnight and Buenos Aires can be sketchy at night. they never called to take care of this matter and I had to take a taxi back to hotel mind you I paid 195.00 dollars for show and car service. I'm disputing with visa this charge. use caution!!!!
I asked the Concierge at our Hotel which Tango Show they recommended and they said Rojo. He explained it was a “VIP service” with pick-up from the Hotel, dinner and drinks inclusive, so the $230 per person fee was expected. It is a small intimate venue and we had good seats near the stage, although the dancers move around a lot during the show, so I think most places were fine as far as seating was concerned. The meal was fine, the wine definitely wasn’t premium and we ended up buying a Malbec which we had chosen the previous evening at a restaurant (marked up a further 40% on the restaurant price!). The waitress came around each table before the start of the show for payment and asked outright what we wanted to add on for the service charge, so that she didn’t need to return twice, I guess. And so to the show - there is no doubt that the dancing was absolutely wonderful. The “story” and costumes etc. all very well done. Sorry to say that the female singer did not meet expectation and her voice wasn’t great. Unfortunately it was also amplified too much via the PA system. Fortunately the male singer was better! I’m glad we went, purely to experience the amazing dancing, but by the time we added on paying out for a decent wine and the service, I think the show is overpriced.
Okay, you may get caught off guard at the price (as I was), especially considering how inexpensive everything is in Buenos Aires, but trust me when I say it's worth it. They picked us up at our AirBnB (only about 2 miles away), which was an unexpected treat. The dinner was outstanding. The venue is small and intimate (not an auditorium with 1000 people!). And the show was superb. We were worried that it may go too long (since it doesn't start until about 10:15 pm), so we had an escape plan to leave early. But the show kept us enthralled, and next thing we knew it was 11:45 pm (1.5 hrs) and the night had flown by. It was perfect! I SO highly recommend this dinner and show. And with everything else being so cheap in Buenos Aires, you can splurge here!
My husband and I went to the Rojo Tango show while in Buenos Aires! It is thoroughly enjoyable as the dancer perform right in front of you. We will be back for another snow. I highly recommend this show for a great evening out in beautiful Buenos Aires! The room is intimate with outstanding food and drink service.

This was overrated. The food was okay not great. There were 4 couples dancing and a live musical group. The hotel was lovely and the venue was small around 100 people. The transportation to and from our hotel was great.

We had gotten over doing a tango show during our trips to Buenos Aires. Over the years we'd been to four of them with a diminishing level of enjoyment. Rojo Tango is new on the scene, relatively speaking, so we decided to give it a try. We had a great time. This is the first tango show we've been to that puts out a decent dinner. It's also in one of the smaller rooms, a room put to great use by the director, which adds to the effect. The dancers had a high level of engagement. And, yes, you really do get your own car and driver to take you over to the Faena, which is itself interesting to have a look at.

What a treat this event was from start to finish! The hotel where this was held was beautiful. One enters into a long and dramatic hallway, lined with many treasures! Well-appointed bars, restaurants, and lounges can be found on either side of this luxurious entryway, and it is a visual feast! At the very end of the hallway was our destination, all decked out in red! The cocktails, the food, and the service were on point! And that tango show was to die for! Those dancers were top-of-the-line and very very talented! They put on an unbelievable show! As we departed this intriguing venue, we found the system of getting a cab was impressive and well-organized! The director of transportation got all guests into waiting cabs with great efficiency! I cannot recommend this tour more highly!

I had much higher expectations for the event. The food is reasonable — good, but not less than a score of 6 or 7. The Mood is beautiful, as is the arrival at the hotel, but the extreme heat inside the space has totally damaged the experience. The air conditioning was in trouble, which made it difficult to enjoy both the dinner and the presentation. The tango performance, on the other hand, is indeed beautiful and exciting. However, unfortunately, we were unable to take full advantage of the inconvenience. For the value of the ticket, I believe the event leaves much to be desired. Won't come back.
A very good tango show with classical tango, about 80% of the tango danced between the first and second world wars. Very nice costumes, great! It mainly offers the classical tango with a pair of Modern notes, but not much rhythm. If you want to experience modern rhythmic tango, then you have to go to La Ventana (the regular show).
we were picked up at 9:30pm (on time) for the show at the hotel by a very friendly driver. Arriving at the Fuena Hotel at Madura port we were presented with the first drink the bill for the show, which is also fine. We booked the show without dinner. However, according to our subjective impressions, the guests who booked the dinner were satisfied. The offered (including) drinks were quite reasonable and very tidy. To the show: This was really great, very professionally raised and there was nothing wrong with the costumes, the very professionally acting actors or the music. On the contrary, the show was entertaining and great staged. Better than I thought. Chapeau! The only downer: We didn't understand a word of what the saga duo was saying. But this is too painful. Little tip: After the show we spent no h some time in the great bar of the Fuena Hotel with great live DJ along with 2 musicians and good atmosphere. Not quite cheap, but definitely worth the money.
After hearing such diverse opinions about the various tango shows in Buenos Aires, we went there without much expectation. What we were offered then exceeded everything! The reception at the Hotel Faena, the small intimate theatre, menu and drinks of the very best quality, the Service - the start was successful. When the show began, the good-looking dancers and singers offered us a firework of colors, music, singing, feeling and tango at its finest, which is certainly unparalleled. Whenever we should be back in Buenos Aires, a visit to the Rojo Tango Show would be at the top. Thanks to the whole ensemble, Bravo!
