Great day out. Managed to ride horse only short walk so easy for novices. So much food and wine and good authentic music and dancing. A very leisurely day.
Such an unreal experience!!! Great to get out of the city for the day and experience a different way of living and learn about the history and culture behind the Gauchos. Veronica was an amazing guide and taught us so much about Buenos Aires and Argentina as a whole. Can say I now have friends in Argentina from sharing the Mate ❤️
We decided last minute to take a private tour into the countryside rather than walk around a hot Capital city full of concrete and are so glad that our hotel concierge recommended Signature tours. Our driver and guide for the day, Marcelo was superb. He put us at ease right from the moment he collected us from the hotel in a clean air conditioned mini van. Our day was made more special by his knowledge and the fact that he seemed to personally know all the people in the places we stopped. There was no hard sell anywhere and he taught us a lot about Argentina, its history and Gauchos. When we reached the estancia he showed us around and made sure that we had the food we wanted. The food and demonstrations were excellent and made for a thoroughly enjoyable day out. This tour was great value and we would recommend it to others.
Our guide Henry arrived right on time. The vehicle was new and comfortable so our trip out to the courtyside was very comfortable. Henry was very knowledgeable and gave us a commentary all along the trip. The town of San Antonio was beautiful. Not a big tourist spot so we saw a real Argentine small town. The ranch was fun. A beautiful lunch with more food than you could eat. The show was lovely. Highly recommend this day out of the big city.
Wow - what an incredible experience! Our guide Marcelo was a wonderful guide and even more amazing person. He welcomed my wife and my 1.5 year old baby so nicely and we had the best day ever. The ranch was stunning and so accommodating and the Gauchos were so nice, especially Tobias who my daughter took an extra liking to.. We have never seen our baby so excited, highly recommend - thank you!!
Exelkent experience from pick up from hotel until return to hotel. During confortable driving our friendly guide told us about gaucho cultur, pampas. Indroduced us to nice handwerk workshops. And to end we had a good meal, horse back riding and dance show in estancia. Beautifull day.
This was such a great experience and the tour guide and the people at the tour site were fantastic. It was a very peaceful and once in a life time experience.
I recently spent a day on this tour with friends. The overall experience was amazing - unlike anything I had done before - and it was truly special to experience an authentic Gaucho ranch and lifestyle. The meal was fantastic and the food just didn't stop coming! Horse riding was also great fun, and the 'horse whispering' was really impressive. The day was made even better by our fantastic tour guide Sabrina, who took every opportunity to explain everything around us for the whole day. Her attentive nature, great conversation and fun personality was a great reflection of the day as a whole.
This was a gorgeous once-in-a-lifetime experience. We loved it! Our guide, Myriam Sosa, was wonderful. She was friendly and super knowledgeable. She engaged everyone on our tour including from my kids (ages 10 and 14) to my parents (in their 80's). Our group included people from the US, Ireland, Canada and Argentina, and we all loved it. We rode horses, my parents danced a milonga, we ate wonderful food, we enjoyed the surroundings, we learned a lot -- we all agreed it was the perfect end to our vacation in Buenos Aires. Highly recommend this wonderful tour!!
From start to finish this was an amazing experience! Our guide, Sabrina, was so knowledgeable and fun- she did a terrific job! It couldn’t have been easier since they pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. The food at the estancia is amazing as is the wine and service. We had a lot of fun exploring the ranch, the horseback riding was such a fun bonus as well! Would highly recommend this excursion from Buenos Aires. Pro tip: skip breakfast and come hungry! There is a ton of food!
took a day trip with Signature Tours to San Antonio de Areco and Estancia Ombu it was a great day away from BsAs even though the weather was unfortunately
Lucea and the team were perfect hosts for our day on the Estancia! Beautiful property and the right mix of fun and education throughout the day. Lovely food and entertainment, and really enjoyed the horse ride. Would definitely recommend
Fellow turistas!! This tour is the bees knees! Our guide Pablo the dogs blcks! Super informative and funny guy.. The estancia increíble! The lugar preciosa Guitarras, la musica,, we danced, we drank too much Tinto! La comida,.we were Ozzies(it’s Mabo) KiwiS yanks we shared each other’s Mate for a day We sang Eurovision on horseback.irlanda nil point there again... Crazy horse showed me around some of his favourite trots We were proper cowboys in our minds Don’t cry for me Argentina’ sung on the bus trip back to Baires and then we all went on our seperate ways... What more can I say but what a day! Pay the extra peso and you won’t regret it! Fellow paddies the Iglesia en San Antonio de Areco you might see your apellido.
Our day at the San Antonio de Areco Estancia was wonderful! The company confirmed our reservation the day before, and promptly picked us at the designated time. As we were on our way to the Estancia, our tour guide, Pedro, gave us a tour and history of Buenos Aires. He was very informative, funny and engaging with all the tourists that were on the tour. The horse back riding, parrillada and the guacho show were phenomenal! My husband and I had a great day, met some very nice people, and probably ate more than we should have! Highly recommend!
Yesterday, my husband and I spent a great time at la estancia. We had a typical Gaucho day! First, we had a stop at San Antonio de Areco, where our guide showed us the town. Then, we went to la Estancia where they were waiting for us with a tasty and typical asado! It was delicious! we also enjoyed the local dances! we spent an excellent time from the beginning!
We were picked up on time by Marcelo who spoke very good English. Driving out to the Estancia he told us all about the area we were passing and it seemed like we were there in only 10 minutes, excellent commentary. We visited the village where Marcelo knew everyone and took us to silver and leather shops as well s gaucho museum. No pressure at all to buy anything. Very beautiful village. The estancia was next and we met Diago, the son of the owner who welcomed us with beer, wine and empanadas. The horse ride was very good, the assado and ice cream was very good. The traditional folk dancing was very entertaining and then the Gaucho demonstration was very memorable. Overall an excellent experience not to be missed on a trip to Buneos Aires.
Thank you Pablo for a perfect day! You were a fabulous facilitator...the food and wine was great. So delighted we chose this tour!
First class experience from start to finish. Tour guide Pablo was informative and quite witty. We enjoyed the chance to see the pampas and visit the village of San Antonia de Areco. The visit to Estancia Ombu was great. The horse training demonstration was far more interesting than I anticipated. The Estancia staff greeted us with warmth and hospitality. The tour van was near new and comfortable with an expert driver.

This all-day tour is certainly worth the price. The horseback walk was fun, as was the music and dancing after lunch. The lunch itself was just OK, a little disappointing. But we didn't go for the food. As an aside, the rest stop on the way has a lovely gift shop, not junk souvenirs. I bought a little bracelet however, my AmEx card was hacked there, so beware. Unfortunately, it was only the 4th day of my trip and AmEx had to de-activate my card. Good thing I had a 2nd card.

Pablo, our tour guide, was great. He was informative, funny, and made sure we were happy during the tour. The Estancia was great. The people there were friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and taking the horses around to see the area was really neat. The food they made was nice and plentiful, as was the wine. They definitely don't want you to go home hungry! The show they put on showing how the handle the horses was really unique. You can tell they have a love of horses. The only bad part was the driver, who I thought was relatively careless. However, I have been told by the owner of the tour group that this is being dealt with. Therefore, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest using them if you want to have a small group Estancia experience.
A small group of fifteen in a comfortable 20 seater mini bus. Our guide Pablo, educated, lived and worked abroad and comfortable with people from different nationalities. He speaks fluent English and is very helpful. Due to the rain, we were not able to spend much time in Areca town but the visit is definitely worthwhile and fun. A visit to the estancia and gaucho lifestyle is a great way to appreciate the essence of Argentinian spirit.
Excellent and highly recommended tour. We had a great and unforgettable day. Both Sabrina, our guide, and Dina, the driver, were very friendly and very professional. Honestly a tenner.
This day couldn't be better... We had the pleasure of being guided by Nicolas Bronzini, with Gaston as driver. Nicolas is very attentive and has a historical knowledge of Buenos Aires like no other. As soon as we drove he explained the history of the gauchos and customs of the lifestyle different from that of the city of Buenos Aires. The stay was amazing, we still arrived, we were given some very rich ground beef patties, made in house, accompanied by a glass of beer. Then we rode horses that are very good quidos and know the route of the tour. It was pretty easy (like a non-horse riding person). Then we ate a roast complete with varieties of salad and vegetables with red wine that was also delicious. When we finished eating, the gauchos and the china invited us to see a typical dance of them and also an exhibition of one of the gauchos stroking one of the horses - how beautiful! Then they invited the group to dance and we had a great time. I recommend this experience to everyone- couples, solo travelers, and families. It's something I'll never forget. Thanks, Nicolas! You're tops! See you next time. -Ramos family from NY/NJ, USA
