Easily a 5 star guided experience with Tracy & Renzo. We received, in addition to the guided sites advertised, a nearly complete rendering of Argentine history both political and economic. This was a huge, unexpected bonus and extremely well done. We have never had a more engaging experience in all our years of travel!

The drive from Buenos AIres to Tigre is approximately 1 hour, & includes a short stop at the scenic Costanera Norte. Here, you can enjoy the view of the 'widest river in the world', the Rio de la Plata. This allows for a fabulous perspective of where we are going - to one of its smallest tributaries - the Luján River.
Once in Tigre, we start with a 1 hour boat tour through the Tigre Delta, the 5th largest delta system in the world. Enjoy scenic views of the historic buildings of Tigre, sail alongside kayakers, & soak in the tranquility of this extensive river system.
We enjoy a delicious lunch at Tigre's most highly rated riverside restaurant. With a wide variety of local dishes, including seafood, fresh pasta, beef, chicken, salads, delicious desserts & local wines, this restaruant can accomodate all dietary needs (please note that all food & drink is not included in the tour price).
After lunch, we make our way to the Tigre Art Gallery. This beautiful historic building is a work of art unto itself. In the 19th century it was the social club for the Buenos AIres elite, and now it houses art of some of Argentina's most emblematic artists. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays, so if you book your tour on this day we substitute with a visit to the historic & picturesque town of San Isidro on the way to Tigre.
We take 1 last stroll along the water's edge. The Paseo Victoria is lined with historic buildings, galleries, cafes, & gelato shops (Argentina is famous for its gelato!). We then drive you back to where you are staying in Buenos AIres, where you can enjoy the memories.
The Puerto de Frutos is an extensive waterfront market, full of local artisenal crafts & goods. Whether you want to get a few local souvenirs, or just soak in some of the local Tigre vibe, this market is the place to be.

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Tracy, our incredibly knowledgeable guide, and Renzo, our excellent driver. The tour took us to the beautiful area of Tigre, where we first stopped for some refreshments before boarding a small boat to explore the peaceful canals and waterways. It was a wonderful way to experience this unique part of the region. We also visited a lovely craft market where Tracy pointed out many locally made items, particularly the beautiful leather and wood products the area is known for. Lunch was delicious and perfectly located beside the water, making it a very relaxing stop. Afterwards we visited the stunning art museum, which was just the right length of time to enjoy both the building and the collection without feeling rushed. Our final stop was the botanical gardens in Buenos Aires, which were absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to end the day. Throughout the entire tour, Tracy shared fascinating history and insights about Argentina, which really added to the experience and helped us understand the country much better. We had a wonderful day and would highly recommend booking this tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you are considering taking an excursion with Tracy, stop thinking about it and book it! We had an amazing day exploring the Tigre River delta and other sites in Beunos Aires with Tracy and her driver Renzo. My husband and I took our excursion with Tracy on the debarkation day from a Viking cruise. We had to disembark by 9 am, but our flight home was not until 10 pm. This left us with a full day to spend and the burden of two large suitcases. But Tracy and Renzo took care of everything! We left the suitcases at Tracy’s apartment for the day. Then we headed out to the Tigre delta. A fair amount of time was spent driving through Buenos Aires, and Tracy pointed out highlights and talked about the history of the city. The day was rainy, but Tracy had even thought about bringing umbrellas for us! We started out with a boat ride through the Tigre delta, a very interesting area. After the Tigre Delta boat tour, we visited the Museo de Arte de Tigre. Then Tracy took us to a lovely restaurant on the river for lunch where the four of us had excellent food and a very good time learning more about life in Argentina. After that, Renzo drove us to Tracy’s apartment where we picked up our luggage, and then he drove us to the airport. Given that she is from Alberta, Canada, Tracy’s English is perfect. Renzo is a Buenos Aires native, and his English is excellent. Tracy loves Argentine tango, and this resonated with us as we are dancers too. We had such a good time! Filling in our departure day with this excursion was perfect for us. Of course, the cruise line offered excursions, but I can’t imagine any that would have been as enjoyable as this private excursion with two extremely intelligent, warm, and competent people. In case all you need is a ride to the airport, Renzo can arrange this. But taking in some of the city with both Tracy and Renzo is a wonderful experience.
We had an excellent day with Tracy. We visited the Tigre Delta, had a wonderful lunch and made several additional stops including to the Japanese gardens. Tracy also recommended an excellent local restaurant for our dinner. We would not hesitate to book with Tracy again.
Tracy was a joy to spend the day with! She showed us parts of Buenos Aires that we would never had thought to go to on our own. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful day with Tracy who provided information and history about both Buenos Aires and Argentina. It was fun and interesting doing the boat tour on the Delta. She also made suggestions about other places of interest! We would highly recommend Tracy for any tour.
Tracy is without a doubt one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She is charming and personable. Not only was she knowledgeable about all we were seeing on the tour, she was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Argentina. We learned so much from her. She is also an accomplished Tango dancer and taught us much about the history and intricacies of the dance. The tour was a nice way to explore an area outside of Buenos Aires, and learn about life along the river tributaries. Tracy also gave us recommendations on restaurants and other things to do during our time in Buenos Aires. We would be delighted to take a tour with her again.
We booked our 7-hour private tour of Tigre from our hotel in Buenos Aires through Viator and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. A few days before the tour, Tracy introduced herself via WhatsApp and immediately made us feel welcome and encouraged us to share any special interests so the tour could be personalized. She followed up the day before and again the morning of the tour to reconfirm everything, which was very appreciated. Tracy and our driver Renzo arrived right on time and instantly made us feel relaxed and in good hands. As we drove out of the city, Tracy was a wealth of knowledge, asking thoughtful questions to really understand our interests. She tailored her commentary perfectly, striking just the right balance of history, culture, and current-day significance. On the way to Tigre we learned about Argentine political history right up through today’s current events. She presents everything in a respectful and thoughtful way that encourages easy conversation—informative, never judgmental. How refreshing. In Tigre we took a boat tour through the canals and small rivers, which showed how this unique area is used today for an alternate lifestyle focused on relaxation and recreation. It was such a contrast to the big city energy and hustle of Buenos Aires. After the boat tour we enjoyed a relaxing stroll through the markets, which gave us time to pick up a thoughtful souvenir. We then had a beautiful lunch right on the river at a restaurant that allowed us to slow down, relax, and connect on an even deeper level. From there we visited a wonderful art museum, where Tracy surprised us yet again with stories about the artists and exhibits that were personal, relatable, and engaging. It truly felt like there wasn’t a subject or topic she couldn’t give us insight into. One of the huge benefits of a private tour is being able to connect on a more personal level, and Tracy truly shines here. She has a fascinating background and shares a very unique personal connection to Argentina. I’ll give just one hint: ask her about Tango — you will be delighted. And if you are considering a Tango Tour - You must have Tracy take you. This was an exceptional day and one we will always remember. Highly recommended.
This was a fun day trip out of the city. Tracee was our guide, and she was very knowledgeable about the town, and the history and interesting facts about the delta area. If you have kids, there is a lot to do in terms of water slides, etc. For adults, there is a HUGE outdoor market with a little bit of everything offered.
Tracy was prompt, professional, and so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her and seeing Tigre. Do not hesitate to take this tour. It was the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires.
We wanted a tour to fill in the day between disembarking a cruise ship and an 11pm flight home and this was a perfect choice for us. Tracy and driver Renzo were a delight! They accomodated our luggage and took us around Tigre and various BA sites. The boat tour of the delta was pleasant and relaxing. The lunch restaurant was excellent. We learned a lot and had a great time!
An excellent trip of San Isidro and Tigre lots of wonderful historical, social and political information by an enthusiastic guide and great driver
What an amazing day we had with Tracy! She was an absolutely fabulous tour guide. Everything was perfect from pick up to drop off. Tracy provided such great information; we had great conversation with her and had the best experience. Tracy is someone I could see myself hanging out with and having a great time. The hour-long boat trip was so relaxing, lunch was absolutely amazing, the art gallery was beautiful, and we had a great time at the waterside market. My friend was looking for a particular brand of olive oil and Tracy went out of her way to take us to a location that sold that brand on our way back to our hotel. This day was a 10/10. This was my highlight in Buenos Aires.
This was a great activity, and Diego was a great host who went above and beyond! My friend wasn't able to fly in from the United States as originally planned and was coming in two days later, which was the day of this tour. I explained the situation to Diego, and he was able to get another driver from his team to pick my friend up from the airport and she met up with us on the tour route. This was amazing customer service! We did end up having to cut our tour a little short because we had to adjust the start time and we had another activity after the tour, but Diego was so accommodating. We had the best time with him! The tour was amazing, Diego was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend this tour. This was a 10/10 experience!
My daughter and I toured with Tracy and Renzo, her driver. They both were warm and welcoming and gracious and took care of us so well. All our needs were catered to and all our questions were answered with local and historical knowledge. It was so nice to not have to worry about any logistics or tickets or timetables, to just sit back and let Tracy plan our day
A lovely tour to Tigre, Tracy was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and local history. It was very personable, we could customize our day and appreciated it just being the two of us. My husband and I fully recommend this experience!
It was the best day we had on our trip! Tracy was an outstanding guide!! We would highly recommend asking for her. The boat roads, the art museum, the delicious restaurant for lunch and the amazing shopping area made a day filled with memories!
Excellent tour. Our guide was Tracy. Learned about life on the Tigre. All arrangements were made by Tracy. We were able to also shop at a open market. Had excellent lunch plans. All aspects of the tour were very good. Informative and smooth.
We go on a lot of tours most are good, but this was a great one. Tracey and our driver did an outstanding job teaching us about Argentina's history and the nuances of the Tango among many, many other things. The Tigre is a delight not to be missed and definitely is not talked about enough. Her enthusiasm for all things Argentine, especially the Tango, is contagious. We can't praise this tour enough. You'll see tons of great stuff, from great restaurant suggestions, to an incredible art museum, to shopping at the market, and a most enjoyable boat ride. Get ready to enjoy your day immensely. We only wish we'd known that Tracy also did a city tour before we had booked another one.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely private day trip to the quaint riverside town of Tigre from Buenos Aires with Tracy, and the entire experience was a joy! Tracy is a true professional - she arranged everything, including a boat tour along the delta, a relaxing riverside lunch and a tour of the stunning art museum, with stops in San Isidro, the Tigre market and marinaside strolls. All in all it was a great change from the bustle of BA, and with Tracy as our guide all we had to do was sit back and enjoy! Highly recommended!
Tracy took great care of us and we care tell she take great pride of her tour. She introduced us to knowledgeable facts of the region. Since English is her native tongue, we have great conversations.
Because we spent a week in Buenos Aires, and it was a beautiful spring day, we took a second tour with Tracy and her driver Renzo. This tour was quite special not only because we spent another day with Tracy but it was a totally different experience exploring where the residents go when they leave the city. Tracy chose a small boat to take us down the Delta- 9people. The town itself is charming, restaurants, cafes, an extensive market, magnificent small museum all along the water. A peaceful and interesting escape from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires. The culmination was a fabulous lunch at an Italian restaurant that makes homemade pasta - outside dining overlooking the parks and waterway. Another wonderful day experiencing the people and the more countryside part of Buenos Aires, just one hour outside of the city. Again, Tracy geared this tour to meeting our personal wants and needs. It has truly been a gift finding Tracy and her tour company She is the best- warm, knowledgeable and fun. Always being concerned that our needs and wants are met. Basha and Jeff
