Getting out of downtown Buenos Aires on this Tigre tour was really enjoyable. The cruise was very interesting and it was great to see a different side of this big city.

On the way to Tigre, you will drive through this gorgeous avenue and see that Buenos Aires is more than a collection of historical sites but also a very green city with huge spaces and parks of all kinds. You stop by El Rosedal (The Rose Garden), the jewel of Buenos Aires and Floralis Generica, a giant metal flower designed by a local engineer.
Stop by this stunning cathedral in the lovely suburban town of San Isidro, the crown of the northern part of Buenos Aires. You can enjoy a quick coffee in a peaceful atmosphere.
You will discover the life style of the islanders and understand the importance of the Rio de la Plata for the economy and the eco system of Buenos Aires. A 1hr cruise through the Delta in a traditional powerboat and a visit of Puerto de Frutos , a local market very popular with argentinians, are the highlights of the tour. Here, you can witness the locals take advantage of all the natural resources of the Delta.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel, ship or airport for those who opted for a transfer

Let's you experience an unusual culture of living without roads and bridges, using only water transportation to travel and acquire necessary supplies.
We are pushed we had received more context for the trip and more informational while on the boat. The boat tour had a pre recorded information playing. It would have been nice to have a personal Guide share more information. As well, our guide did not seem enthusiastic and shared bare minimum of what we thought we could know about the areas we visited. Was not what we expected and guide was not very good
Patrick was communicative and on time, which was a great start to a great day. He knows a lot about the city that he has made his home. He took us through a few towns on the way to Tigre. He is well known by the tour providers and boat pilots - a good sign. The boat cruise through the delta and tributaries was interesting and reminded us of cottage country in Ontario. There aren’t roads; people access the homes via boat/bus, waiting on their dock for a quick jump on and off. We had a beautiful day - Thank you, Patrick!
This was a wonderful tour! Patrick, our guide, had a fascinating life which he shared with us and also knew all the ins and outs of Buenos Aires and the Tigre. The excursion component on the. Tigre Delta what’s lovely! Patrick told us a great deal of history, for example that when Madonna was filming the portrayal of Eva Perron in the movie Evita, it was too unsafe for her to stay in downtown Buenos Aires as she was a celebrity. Therefore, she was brought in and out of the.Tigre area by helicopter each day so she would not be mopped by fans. We also learned a great deal of history from Patrick. I would highly recommend this tour. One of the things we enjoyed was stopping for lunch with Patrick which we treated him too. The food was outstanding at the TBC Restaurant,Tigre boat club. As I have an injured foot, he was very accommodating, making sure I did not have to walk too far. his car was perfect and he was so great to be with. Thank you for such a wonderful tour!
Patrick was great. Trip was well planned and very enjoyable. I would reco.end this tour company to friends and family.
Carlos was knowledgeable and gave us a good, authenitc sense of Argentinia culture. Have both a driver and Carlos allowed us to see alot and made the tour a great value. The cruise was great too.
Boat ride was very nice. Great to see the suburban areas of BA. Lots of greenery. Guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. Would recommend
Enjoyed the day trip to Tigre with Patrick. Very knowledgeable and has extensive travel experience. Baat ride was good and insightful.
Our driver Pedro was very good and had driven us by many features in hemodialysis Aires before and after the delta tour. Pedro was very good driving. Was personable and very tourist friendly. A credit to Viatour. The delta tour was very interesting, narrated in both Spanish and English. Pedro accompanied us on the delta tour and added toourunderstanding of the area.
Our tour guide was Patrick, who runs the Company. Our trip was for a cruise debarkation day, so we needed to arrange to be picked up at the Port and dropped off at EZE airport. Communication was great -- we sent several messages by Whats App -- to arrange the time. Also, while we arranged a tour for two of us, the company showed flexibility allowing us to increase to 4 (with a modest per-person charge for the other two) -- on a couple of day's notice, we could have made it a larger group. The point was that Patrick was willing to do whatever was necessary to ensure that it met our needs. Also, Patrick knew EVERYONE. He was able to call in advance to make sure we had reservations on the boat, and when the restaurant we wanted to go to was booked solid, he was able to talk to the people there and get us a table. On the day of the trip, we exchanged a couple more texts to confirm when we were leaving the ship. When we exited the terminal at 9:15 am, Patrick was waiting there with a sign with my name on it. The vehicle he used had seats for 4 and adequate space for each of us to have one piece of checked luggage plus a carry-on. The tour itself was perfect -- although we hadn't, we were asked if there was anything we wanted to see in town. I asked for a stop at the Rose Gardens (one of my favorite places in Buenos Aires and not included on all city tours), he took us there. Then after a drive through the city, we headed north towards Tigre. Our first stop was at a local beach, which had a beautiful panoramic view of Buenos Aires. As it was a holiday (Good Friday), there were many families, also quite a number of people fishing off the beach. They were more than willing to pose for pictures with the fish they had caught. Next Stop -- San Isidro -- a local village with its own Cathedral. We stopped for Ice Cream at a local store, and could have taken pictures in the Cathedral, but there was a service going on, and we chose not to interrupt or interfere with the religious observance. After San Isidro, we made our way to Tigre for a River Delta Ride. Our cruise was on a boat that caters to the Argentinians -- I think we were the only Foreigners on board, so we shared our ride with locals and families out for an outing on the Holiday. The only downside to this was that the commentary was in Spanish -- but Patrick filled us in on the highlights so we didn't feel that we missed anything. After the cruise, we were offered a tour of the local market, but since it was approaching 2:00 we opted to go to a local restaurant for a leisurely lunch. This was followed by a drop-off at the airport at about 5:00 in plenty of time for check-in for our flight. One final point -- this was offered as a 6 hour tour. In fact we were with our guide for nearly 8 hours. I don't know whether every guide will give the extra time (and it might depend on what plans they had for later in the day), but in our case, Patrick was more concerned with our good time than keeping an overly tight schedule. Overall, a great experience, and I highly recommend Buenos Aires Touring.
Pablo was waiting as soon as we arrived in port. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained what everything we passed was, plus the history behind it. The boat ride in Tigre was relaxing. Pablo explained everything to us in English. He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch before dropping us off at the airport.
This private tour is amazing, beautiful scenery in Delta Tigre! We were a group of 7 people including kids and we all liked it, our tour guide Pablo was excellent! Very safe driver Beltran! Comfortable van for our group! I have been to Argentina twice and definitely this has been one of my favorite tours. Don’t miss visiting Delta Tigre which is one of the biggest in South America!
Our guide and the trip were both excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and took his time to show us the entire area.
Excellent knowledgeable guide, private air conditioner car with a good driver, great experience overall but we found the cost to be too high for what we received.
Angela was a very thorough tour guide - her English was very fluent and she showed us aspects of the city of Buenos Aires and the outlying areas that a non-native would not encounter on their own. She had lots of stories, accompanied by history and humor, and we had a great 5 hours. She chose a delicious spot for lunch and we got to try an appetizer we would not have known about. Do take the trip - the islands from the boat were spectacular!
An incredible experience. Margarita was an excellent guid and her colleague Cristina were both wonderful. On time pick up and enthusiastic sharing of interesting facts. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something cool and novel during a stay in BA
Patrick contacted me very soon after booking the tour to confirm time and location of the pickup at our hotel. He was right on time and very welcoming. On our way out of town we stopped at several sights along the way, with Patrick providing a lot of information and history. He provided a large bottle of cold water for us and his driving was always safe. After leaving the city proper, he showed us some sites in San Isidro, then we made our way to Tigre. He got our reservations for the boat tour then we had time to explore all of the shops and offerings in this busy little port. The boat tour up the river was great, lots to see, and Patrick provided more details than the boat operator. Back at Tigre, we then made our way direct to our hotel. It was a really great day, and Patrick made it that way.
Knowledgeable,, articulate, friendly and experienced. Margarita made our day perfect including unscheduled extra stops that only locals would know about.
We prefer private tours, so this is what we did. Our guide, Flavia, was great fun. She gave us what we wanted and was flexible with our requests. Regarding the operator, Patrick, well that's a different story. There were emails early on about how we were being picked up from the cruise line early morning before check in time, so he was to arrange a van. The driver showed up late in a beat up Chevrolet compact car!! We burned about 90 minutes making adjustments for the debacle. I have a request in for a partial refund, but I haven't heard back.
The two hour cruise down the converging rivers takes you out of time and place. The scenery is beautiful, and when you arrive at the river "neighborhoods"--accessible only be boat, you see a mixture of house sizes and styles, one after the other. On an early summer Sunday, many of the houses were in use with families and friends taking part in all kinds of water sports at the river's edge. Our wonderful guide, Sandra, pointed out that these homes are accessible only by water, and food/goods shopping, medical assistance and all other services were delivered on a regular or as needed basis by floating stores. Once in the port of Tigre, the beachside resort atmosphere was happy. An amusement park, restaurants and huge bustling outdoor markets sold everything you could want. One of the best excursions of our trip. We would love to return and spend time there.
<p>I feel so fortunate that I had Patrick as my guide. He was punctual, professional, pleasant, informative-it’s difficult to say how much more I learned about the Argentine culture, politics and neighborhoods in one day than in my previous 4 with other guides/interactions. Can’t say enough good things!</p>
<p>Wonderful tour of Tigre Delta and surrounding area. Patrick was very knowledgeable and told us interesting facts about the region and the houses on the riverbank. He also took us to an amusement park at the request of our five-year-old. Definitely recommended.</p>
Great day, very nice to be able to enjoy a French guide who knows the country well. The delta ride is really relaxing
Our tour exceeded expectations for the kind attention of our guide Margarita and Driver Rita, made us feel with friends who walked us through their places. We came back very happy
