Raymond was both a pleasure to be with on our ride and a fountain of information about Argentinian culture and history. We braved the rain with ponchos that he provided and even learned how to tango during one of our rest stops. It was a great way to see parts of the city that are often missed on the classic tour stops. Highly recommend!

We meet at Casa Castagnino — one of the oldest buildings in San Telmo, built in the late 1700s — and finish right back where we started.
This street is a hidden jewel that was once a grey and dark little street whose name means 'almost dead', that was brought to life again by artist Marino Santa Maria and consequently listed by UNESCO as a site of cultural interest.
Mural "El Regreso de Quinquela", Barracas, Buenos Aires. At one time the longest mural painted by one person (now the longest in Argentina),painted by Alfredo Segatori a.k.a Pelado
Whilst in the neighbourhood you will learn how it came to be one of the most visited and colourful places in the city, and experience the thrill of our 'Stealth Stencil' stop as well as sample the local beverage which became a beloved favourite of the Argentines.
We´ll check-out several murals and street art around the original neighborhood of La Boca, were COLOR BA festival happened.

We had such a great experience on this tour and saw more than the city. We felt its heartbeat. Biking was a great way to get a feel for the neighborhoods we saw and get a bit of exercise too. The bikes are in great condition and even the helmets were painted with pretty art! Raymond was so generous with his knowledge giving us insight not into just the history of the graffiti art and the landmarks but the context of what it meant. We felt like we saw more than just the sites but the soul of the city. It started to rain and Raymond had ponchos for us to wear and at the end of our tour even gave us a little mate (sp?) lesson where he taught us how to make it and the custom of sharing it with others. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend and thank you Raymond!
Great bike tour! Raymond led our 4 hr tour. We rode through many great areas and got a good taste of the people and the culture. He filled our heads with history and capped our tour with matcha tea in the park! A truly great way to see the city!
This was a truly wonderful afternoon with Pablo, who is kind, knowledgeable, an excellent storyteller and skilled bike leader. I chose the murals tour, and recommend it wholeheartedly. If, to you like to me, it seems like a wild extravagance, know that if you can do it, it’s absolutely worth it. Mucho mucho gracias Pablo!
I loved this tour! Buenos Aires has tons of interesting street art and graffiti and I was eager to learn a bit about the artists and context (I didn't just want to drive by normal tourist sights). This bike tour was the perfect solution. Pablo was my fantastic guide. He is professional, knowledgeable and passionate about this tour. I'm so glad I did it. I left with so much more understanding of some of the artists, hidden gems and the meaning behind many of the fascinating pieces.
This was the best experience we had in Buenos Aires. We had Martin as our guide and he took tremendous care to ensure we got to see everything that we wanted and to take the time to get to know us and cater the tour to what he thought would interest us. Can't recommend this tour enough.
Awesome experience! Ray was really terrific. Incredibly informative and fun! Definitely worth doing. Saw many neighborhoods so wasn’t just about art.
This cycle tour was a fabulous fun way to see the city up close with a super knowledgeable guide that brought the city and it’s history to life
Far exceeded our expectations, from the lovely friendly welcome, to the fantastic informative tour filled with historical stops, Martin had amazing knowledge of the art and went into great detail to inform us of the history, the art and their meanings
We really enjoyed our tour! Our guide, Martin, was friendly and knowledgeable, clearly enthusiastic about city, neighborhood, and culture. Bamboo bikes were awesome and comfortable. As an unexpected surprise, Martin began our tour with a thorough demonstration and practice of the yerba mate tea custom. A well rounded adventure, thoroughly recommend organization and guide!
Excellent tour with Ray. Great way to see the city and areas you wouldn’t normally see. Ray had a ton of knowledge about the art and artist. Kept our teens engaged the whole time. Highly recommend.
Biking street art tour was a great experience, definitely one of the trip's highlights! Biking offers the chance to see multiple different neighborhoods, kind like city bus but in a self paced way. We felt very safe throughout. Our guide, Raymond, created a unique experience. Street art works as a trigger to learn about history, culture, soccer, religion and other. Graffitis were very diverse and beautiful to watch. Changed my perspective of street art in general. The food offered was the best Empanadas we had during our stay in the city. Raymond also offered recommendations that were very helpful for the rest of our stay (and some surprises that I dont want to spoil :). Recommend you do the tour first day of your trip, so you get the feeling and vibes of the city and take advantage of the recommendations offered!
This tour was awesome! Raymond was a great guide and an extraordinary person! We really enjoyed it! totally recomended. Bike, urban art, history and Mate! We loved it! it is a must!
Pablo was terrific! He was very knowledgeable of the history. His English was great. He took his time and never made us feel rushed. An excellent excursion of some city highlights. Top notch!
I loved this bike ride through the hidden little gems of neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Seeing the art off the beaten path was a real treat. Martin was an excellent, knowledgeable, and fun guide. We wish we didn't have to leave because we'd another ride with them!
Raymond was excellent from start to finish. He was very knowledgable about the biking but also about the history and back stories of BA. We traveled throughout the city, stopping for the ceremonial yerba mate, visiting the street art of the city, seeing the tango on the streets, and eating yummy empanadas. Very friendly and easy going. Highly recommend!
This was our favorite activity in Buenos Aires. A family of 4 (college age kids). We spent started by enjoying traditional mate with our tour leader Martin. Then spent several hours exploring beautiful Buenos Aires by bike and learning about interesting and historic murals along the way. We took tons of great photos. Enjoyed empanadas at a local spot that we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend this adventurous activity with Biking Buenos Aires!
Fantastic tour with Pablo. Five stars! He speaks English very well, can answer any question, accommodates all requests and has a great sense of humor. He showed us many areas of Buenos Aires that we wouldn't have found on our own or that we might not have dared to go to. Bikes were in a good shape. It was a very special day that I will remember for a long time.
Great little tour of the mostly back streets. Bikes could do with a little more maintenance. But they do the job just fine.
Fun informative easy ride through off beaten path parts of city I would not have otherwise seen. Decorative; Historical; sports; political; community life so a wide variety of art and scale. Some impressive talent . Guide was relatively new at job but very knowledgable.
Wow - what an incredible day! A fabulous way to see less explored parts of the city and experience the incredible Buenos Aires tradition of urban art and murals. Martin (our guide) provided fascinating insights into the history of the pieces and we got to see some amazing art works while learning about the traditions of the city. Booking and the management of the trip was super smooth. The bamboo bike was incredibly light and nimble - after being used to a heavy commuter bike! The trip is adventurous and an opportunity to see less-explored and more forgotten parts of the city. I really wish I could give it seven stars!!
It was an amazing bike tour! We had so much fun! Martin was so knowledgeable about the city, art and the culture. I am not in the best shape, but it was relaxing and not hard. Martin was very careful and we felt safe biking in the city! I recommend this company very much!
I spent 8 days in Buenos Aires -- and this was my favorite tour of the city. I was very fortunate to be the only one doing the tour, as I got the amazing tour guide, Daniel, to myself for the day. :) This the tour you want to do if you wish to get away from the touristy spots in Buenos Aires. You'll explore the working class neighborhoods on bicycle, highlighted by abundant street art -- much with powerful statements and stories associated. You'll eat lunch at a hole-in-wall restaurant that serves up amazing local food. Most of all, you'll enjoy spending a half-day casually bicycling -- mostly away from heavy traffic -- through a city with an abundance of things to experience. My guide, Daniel, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Buenos Aires -- working class neighborhoods especially. He has connections throughout the ride -- and if you're fortunate, you may even get to meet a local, famous artist at his studio. Daniel is a such a great person, he became my friend. Anyhow, do this tour. It will be one of the most unique activities you can choose to do in BA.
I would highly recommend this experience for any active person (or group) that is looking for a unique way to explore the city of Buenos Aires. I signed up for the Street Art offering and was amazed by the beauty of the city that we experienced. My guide Daniel was extremely knowledgeable about the city, it's art, the artists, and the overall culture of the area. The biking itself is moderate in nature (think occasional cobble-stone or dirt paths) with occasional steepness. Regardless, this was a perfect activity for my first day in Buenos Aires to immerse myself in the city!
We had a fabulous day, cycling through Buenos Aires seeing art and graffiti, including visiting La Boca and even painting some graffiti ourselves. The bikes were very comfortable and easy to ride. Martin was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and spoke English perfectly. He gave us lots of history as well as being knowledgeable about art. He steered us expertly and safely through a safe route through the city. We highly recommend this trip.
Daniel was a great guide, he adapted the trip for us as we changed specification. We loved his knowledge of art, history, politics and general BA information. We had a great morning. Thank you
If you want a tour that brings you excitement, knowledge and friendship look no further! We had an amazing time yesterday with Martin and Dani from biking Buenos Aires. We took the hidden graffiti and urban art tour in the afternoon and let me tell you, it was a real treat :) Beyond the tour being informative, you could tell the guides were themselves very passionate about “porteño” urban art. They took us to all the must-see spots but also to gorgeous places known only by some locals. They always had extra fun facts about art but also about the history of the city and didn’t let us leave without recommendations for what to do next. The bikes we used were made of bamboo which gives extra flexibility to deal with the Buenos Aires cobblestones and makes them extra comfortable and easy to manoeuvre. All in all it felt like spending a day with old friends, next time we’re in Buenos Aires we will definitely take a tour with them up again!
The BEST tour I could have hoped for. Martin was beyond knowledgeable and utterly personable. I learned far more than I expected about graffiti and muralism and would never have been able to see these places on my own. Not only was the art fantastic, but I can't compliment Martin enough. Just brilliant
The Hidden Graffiti tour was incredible. I really enjoyed getting to know the city another way. The murals were incredible and Patricio was an amazing guide. My other highlights include sharing empanadas and mate.
We did this tour on our first day in Buenos Aires and not only was it a great way to see this art but it was also a fantastic introduction to the city. Patricio was an amazing guide both as far as showing and explaining the art as well as safely leading us throughout parts of the city we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. Lunch was delicious and the guides really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our tour.
Thanks for all the great service and showing me BA from another point of view. We explored different corners of the city that are very difficult to get to without this tour and got to see some stunning murals.
Excellent exploration of Barracas and La Boca with truly unusual graffiti. The guide, Raymond, was really knowledgeable and fun to hang out with.
This tour was more about the historical knowledge of the Guide rather than the city itself. Bikes sucked.
This is a great tour! I've done street art tours around the world and this was the most educational. Ray is knowledgeable and very funny. I hadn't ridden a bike in a few years and didn't have a problem at all. If you are Buenos Aires and like street art this is a must do!
Raymond and the other BA Bike tour guides are extremely personable, fun, and knowledgeable about urban street art, its history and context. Raymond is an adept art critic who provides insights into the meaning and symbolism of art pieces, their cultural relevance, and their relationship to place. The pieces of art seen on this trip are not mainstream and represent authentic Buenos Aires that's off the tourist track. The ride itself is flat and not difficult, however, riders should have solid bike riding skills since riding on sidewalks, cobblestone, skinny streets, and in traffic is just part of the experience. Our group had a great time that made for a truly memorable experience!
My wife and I loved the Hidden Graffiti & Urban Art bike tour but especially loved Raymond and Rodrigo, two excellent and caring guides who knew the back streets and street art stories. We felt we learned a lot AND enjoyed our time with them and three Tango ladies that joined us on the tour. We highly recommend this tour and them specifically.
What a great experience!! Raymond was an expert and shared his city's streets and stories to help us understand Buenos Aires on a deeper level while enjoying the best empanadas, Mate, and drinks along the way. The tour went by so quickly and we saw so many wonderful street art examples. We are in our early 60's and didn't have an issue keeping up with the pace and saw so much of the city's outdoor art and architecture. I highly recommend this tour.
My husband and I did the hidden graffiti urban art tour on recommendation from a friend who had done it previously and raved about it. Raymond, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the history of street art in BA and passionate about showing us many varied examples throughout San Telmo, La Boca and Barracas. It was a great opportunity to get further afield on 2 wheels that we would have got on foot. Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 hour ride that flew by in no time. This tour is manageable for most fitness levels. Even kids would manage it ok. Lots of stops to look at art and take photos. Highly recommend.
Wow! What a fabulous way to explore Buenos Aires! We saw parts of the city we'd never have discovered on our own and saw some fabulous street art along the way. Ray and Ricardo were excellent guides and gave us some great insights into the street art scene in BA. I can't recommend this tour enough. Great value for money and an extremely fun day out!!
Great surprise in discovering the city with a very expert and enjoyable guide. We could get a lot of information about the city and its urban artists. I will do it again next time in Buenos Aires!
We had a great Biking Buenos Aires trip / tour with Ray - covered a lot of ground and very informative about the area, history of graffiti movement and evolution to where it is today. The conclusion was fun as well - a nice Yerba Matte stop with some of our own graffiti thrown into the mix. Would highly recommend as a way to get to know the city better and experience it in a different way than a more traditional tour
The bike location signage should be improved. Our Uber dropped us off at a location that looked like a back-street and we assumed we were in wrong place until a local came out and showed us the nondescript door. We had previously done the Valparaiso graffiti tour in Chile and it was far better - more and better artwork all in a fairly confined space. This artwork was inferior, scattered and not really worth the effort or cost. Would not recommend this tour. In addition our guide was taking pics of us along the way to share afterward so we didn't take hardly any. We were to receive the next day but they never came and a subsequent reminder was also acknowledged but didn't lead to the pics despite their assurance. Guys seem nice but organization of this company seems amateurish.
We had many stops and plenty of time to take photos. Pablo, our guide was professional, passionate about showing the graffiti's and explaining to us, extremely helpful. I highly recommend this one of a kind tour!
5 hours? No way. It seemed like 5 minutes. Ray was our guide, while Martinn was “reorienting” so we scored as to watch them interact was worth the price in and by itself. Their shared enthusiasm for the art was almost as if they were seeing it for the first time as they would discover a nuance not yet appreciated. They gave us ample time for our own interpretations and filled in all the details without stopping at any one piece for too long. And with my ADD, it was absolutely perfectly timed. The ride itself was enjoyable enhanced by the bamboo chopper style bike. Our lunch was in a very local place that also added to the experience. And the finale, learning the art, culture and correct pronunciation of Yerba Mate finished off what was our personal highlight for our time in Buenos Aires. Carve out the time. Turn off your phone. Disconnect and enjoy the afternoon. You will be very happy
I do recommend to this Graffiti Tour. Everything is very enjoyable and, especially, your guide, Mr Raymond. If you are in BA don't miss this opportunity. And there are some other bike tour also very enjoyable.
One of the most unique and enjoyable parts of our trip! Ray and Pablo were excellent guides with many unexpected activities (I won't spoil the surprise) that added to the immersion into the art and graffiti. We learned and experienced so much more than on a "regular" tour with added insights into the art/graffiti and exposure to areas of the city most do not venture. We even met one of the artists! Book this for sure!!
Guides were knowledgeable and told the history so well! Would recommend to any visitors or even locals who are looking to learn about the area and also get some exercise! We did 16km (10miles).
Excellent day of street art and cycling with Ray! We did a really interesting tour of the grittier parts of Buenos Aires in La Boca and Barracas.
Guide was patient and very well informed. Had fascinating discussions ranging from functions of the brain to Argentine politics as they apply to street art in various parts of the city.
Martin, our guide, was a wonderful source of information on everything from the Argentinian alternative music scene to local politics. A nicely paced ride through parts of BA we would never have seen any other way. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who wants to get off the beaten track and see some of the more subtle sights.
