It was tango show...that said, it lasted about an hour, the performers were talented and the show very enjoyable. The theater is in the basement of a building, but it was a nice theater, albeit it was on the warm side. We did NOT have dinner at the theater, but the beer and wine we purchased was cold and good, respectively. Overall, it was a nice intro to a Tango show and am glad we.went to this performance!

What a great experience! Did not disappoint. The theater was absolutely beautiful, the staff was top notch and the food was excellent.
The "Tango for two with dinner" was excellent! The dancers were amazing! My wife and I enjoyed it very much.
Excellent performance that's under-recommended, perhaps because they don't pay for affiliate links. Included 4 or 5 Piazzolla nuevo tango pieces, plus some film footage of the master playing bandoneon. (There's a subtly-integrated background video/light show.) The rest was traditional tango music, but its rendering felt contemporary, not something playing through a 1920s Victrola. The dancing was jaw-droppingly accomplished, acrobatic, and sensuous, including both tango and modern dance. The performers are 6 couples, with 1 couple serving as impresarios. Great 6-piece band (2 violins, 2 bandoneons, piano, upright bass). Singers front the band with solo songs during costume changes. The elegant theater looks huge in photos, but it's actually quite intimate. Dancers come forward do dance in the front loges, and singers walk right into the audience with cordless mics. This is in the basement of Galería Güemes, a Milan-style 1959 shopping arcade at Florida 165, a few walkable blocks from Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada. We booked the show only, no dinner or hotel transfer. But we arrived early, and were offered an à-la-carte food and drinks menu. Outstanding deals (quoted in U.S. dollars) on well drinks. The space can be cool in Argentine winter (June–August), so dress in layers.
The show was really entertaining. It wasn’t too long and we enjoyed ourselves. It was exactly an hour.
We enjoyed the entertainment the signing and the beautiful art of dancing the Tango. A great experience for young adults.
Show was good and entertaining. While not our favorite food of trip, it was still quite tasty, especially given how many people they were serving and the speed in which they had to do it. Lots of meal and beverage choices. Be prepared to speak Spanish or you may just end up eating and drinking what they think is best. Worth the money and your time if coming to Buenos Aires.
Beautiful dancers and dances. Seating arrangement makes a difference, if youbare seated towards the back, watching show will be difficult. Completely in Spanish.
The show was great with a variety of dancers, songs and musicians. Everyone had a good seat but I was blessed with a party of tall people right in front of me. The direction re-seated us so we had a perfect view of the stage. What they say about Argentine beef is true. The steak was probably the best I ever ate. Just my own opinion, but some of the women's costumes were a bit too skimpy for my taste, but maybe you wouldn't agree with that. I chose this particular show hoping to hear more accordion since it is named after the famous Aster Piazzolla, whose accordion is on display in the entryway. There was a pretty good amount of that totally Argentinian accordion and bandoneon music. While I truly enjoyed this performance, I probably would not go again because they say each venue puts its own spin on the Tango experience and I'd love to see more. My traveler tip is to wait until you get to Buenos Aires, go to the box office to get your tickets and be sure to pay in pesos. With the exchange rate being so favorable right now to the dollar, it made our night out vastly less less expensive than if we had charged it. This goes for Teatro Colon, city tours and other canned experiences too. I was in shock to see how more our simple lunch at one restaurant ended up costing in dollars than most places we eat at in the states because I charged it and the credit card company did not give a favorable rate of exchange.
We booked tickets for this show without dinner option, and were scheduled to start 9.30 pm. We arrived in good time, got our seats in the fine theatre and waited, waited waited when finaly the show started 10.15 pm. The show is variations over the same dance and after two dances you have seen it all. The music continues in the same track. What a waste of time and money. The show last only 50 minutes, you pay for your drinks and thats it. Dont go - it is borring. Find yourself a bar/restaurant in La Boca instead or watch tango in the street in stead and save your pesos.
Great show. My steak was done just the way I like it. Shuttle driver was very nice. Don't miss this show.
We waiting for 1 hour and 30 min for the shuttel car to arrive, in the end we had to take a cab. The food was not very good. You can get much better food for less money some other place in Buenos Aires. Everyone were stressing around and the even took away our drinks before we were finished. The tango show started at 10 30 pm and was ok. Not happy.
Amazing tango show and very good food too! The "bife de chorizo"steak was superb and I have to thank in particular my local tour guide,Patricia Salas (+54 91569356267 ) , who took me there for dinner after showing me around Buenos Aires during the day
This was my second show in two days during a brief visit to BA. I had been to the excellent Cafe de los Angelitos the night previously with the VIP option booked through tangotix but this show was substantially cheaper even with the VIP option. The seating was on a slightly raised and cordoned off part of the seating area with really good views of the show. For me the food was better here than the night before. Sure this isn't Michelin star stuff but wholly adequate. Plenty of great wine as well. The show was stunning. In international terms it is unbelievable value for money for what you pay for the evening. Thoroughly enjoyable. Photographs again were allowed if you are discreet and avoid flash.
Pick up service worked excellent even from a private address! Friendly staff at the restaurant. I was on my own and had a table with an excellent view to the stage. Unfortunately the food was not especially good. The empanada was nice. But the meat was too well done and could have been presented with more care. All in all the food came as if it was a mass-produced article. I liked the show. Musicians, singer and dancer were real professionals. Very entertaining.
if it was my only Tango show maybe i could say excellent, but I had more better experience 2 nights before in Senor tango and that was excellent with 10 dollars difference, you don't need to dress up at all for this place , and food is not excelent , space is not excellent , BTW coffee is not covered , definitely I recommend you to go to Senor Tango instead for your money , but over all the dance was good
This tango show was absolutely fantastic and I would 100% recommend it! Everything was so well organised, with the pickup and taxi back to our accommodation, and also the three course dinner was pretty good and timely, despite the venue being absolutely packed on the Friday evening that we went along. The show itself was I thought aimed at locals, there seemed to be very few tourists in attendance, and the audience was very engaged, there were four couples dancing, though sometimes only one or two would be on stage, and from what I could tell, they told the story of tango over the decades, via the style of routines and costume changes. They were accompanied by a small live band and two singers. With the transport and dinner included, I thought this was a great value and very entertaining option to see traditional tango, a must when in Buenos Aires!! When considering the dinner plus tango or just the tango show options, it is probably best to book the dinner, as the pickup time is the same for both and the actual show doesn’t start until 10.30pm, which could be quite a boring wait if you aren’t dining out as well.
Trip Advisor reviews were very helpful in choosing a tango show out of the many offered. Esquina Homero Manzi lived up to its reviews in terms of both food and show quality. The show itself was spectacular--nearly two hours of non-stop performance, with 4 dancing couples and two soloist singers as well as a live orchestra that didn't take a break the entire time (whereas the dancers and singers rotated, so they all got some rest). The meal was actually quite good. As a vegetarian I had been worried I wouldn't have anything to eat, but it turned out that there are multiple menus (the standard menu allows choices between two meat-based dishes in each course, and then there is a separate listing for vegetarian dishes) and no need to call ahead. My only complaint is that as a solo traveler, I was seated at my own little table separate from all the groups and couples, so I had no one to talk with during dinner, which was served before the show began. The transportation was prompt with the hotel pickup and the return trip left soon after the show ended.
Great Tour, the food, the show, the personal of the theater!!!! Great job I definitely recommend this place love it
Excellent tango show, good wine but mediocre pork. Veg food was better. Maybe chicken or beef options are better.
We booked this through our hotel as part of a package for $45 us. We went on the city tour that lasted three and a half hours that took us to the high lights of the city with an excellent guide, then on a shopping trip to markets, but turned out to be 2 private leather shops and 2 clothing stores all behind l8cked steel doors? which is not worth the time but I'm a guy. Then we went to the show at night. Looking on TripAdvisor at Tango shows I was not expecting much for $30 with dinner as the dinner shows run $65. The food was very good bottles of wine flow freely, the dancing was actually surprisingly good the orchestra in the background was very good at all. 15 different people up on stage all of them well-versed in their craft. Have to recommend you go haven't seen the other Tango shows but this one's excellent
We had the dinner included. The service was excellent, we had a choice of meals for each course, food was quite good. Happy that we took up the dinner option. The tango show was excellent, dancers were superb and the musicians well skilled. Highly recommend.
I went with a group of friends. We expected the meal to be mediocre (since it was part of a dance show) but it turned out to be fantastic. We all ordered the Bife de Chorizo and it did not disappoint. The show was amazing! There is no translation from Spanish during the show - so, brush up a bit before you go (although, not speaking Spanish does not in anyway diminish the experience)
Excellent meal with good options from the set menu (steak was good), good wine and fabulous tango dancing, really enjoyed it.
Our friend who lives in Buenos Aires suggested this place. Atmosphere was lovely and the dinner was very good. Then the show...simply marvelous. Beautiful live music and singers. The dancers were amazing!!! The show was so interesting, as it portrayed the many aspects of the Tango. You won't be disappointed.
We booked this evening through our hotel so no hassle The taxi picked us up and dropped us off after the show. We arrived at the venue which was very atmospheric. First we had a three course meal which was very tasty. Wine and beer was flowing and included in the price. Then the main event the tango show. Live music with a female singer and an older male singer who seemed authentic to us. The tango dancers were exceptional they showed all aspects of the Argentinian tango. A wonderful evening.

Definitely worth the money. The dinner was good and the setting/ambiance was great. A great crowd and the performers put on an amazing show. Do it!

The food was fantastic, but the show out did anything else. Over an hour of entertainment of some of the best tango we have ever seen. Back to the food - the steak was perfect and the bottle of wine made it all good!

A wonderful evening. Food service was great. Tango show, singers, and musicians were fantastic. Pick up and return to hotel without a hitch. We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent experience with the food, the service and the show. The transport service is not very good, though it was late, overloaded, and most of the group had to resort to tables at the back of the place, due to arriving late.

Truly a professional show, very well done. This is worth the investment, the dinner was great and
a memory that will last.
Sandi

The tango show was very good. But be aware that even though we chose the non-dinner option, we were picked up and dropped off at the venue at the same time as those who were ordering dinner, meaning we had to sit and watch every eat for about an hour before the show even started.

The food was wonderful, I ordered the sirloin. The presentation of the singers, live band, and dancers is incredible. It's a shame it ends quickly.
Excellent dinner and a must-see Tango Show in BA, every time I go to Buenos Aires, this is a place that I do not fail to visit, great dinner and beautiful Tango Show, a place quite frequented by the local public, worth visiting.
Bom show, os bailarinos são maravilhosos, o cantor bom, mas não apreciei de igual forma a cantora. O lugar é simples e agradável. O jantar bom e bem servido, assim como o serviço dos garçons. Um ótimo custo benefício!
The house is small but cozy, the view to the stage is good, the tango show is not a superproduction as in the larger and more famous houses, but it is exciting, as excellent dancers and musicians. Dinner is delicious and complete, the wine is good. It just needs to be a little more organized the time of dinner so everyone has dinner when the show starts. Fair price
A very beautiful show, with a lot of music and dance! Well crafted figure. Please check out the show!!!
Great night!!! Dance, music and quality singing. We were recommended for being one of the most genuine.
I bought the tickets at the tourism agency Porteño, with agent Claudio (Brazilian, with agency on Florida Street in BA): 54 91153180753 (super recommend). We watched a simple, but classic and very beautiful tango show. The differential was the super well served dinner is delicious. The best food I've tasted at BA.
Through the tourist agent Patrícia Salas (+54 91569356267), who in addition to this tour indicated us and guided others excellent, we went to know is house of tango. Good food, attentive waiters and very nice show! Very nice and comfortable place. Possess transfer through the house.
Show very cool, good food and very cool Mood. Different experience. The show itself is completely different from what I've seen before, it's worth it.
The production of the show is very well done, there are not only 4 couples dancing tango, there is a plot to be followed in each scene throughout the show. At some times the couples present themselves individually, at others the whole group dances together. The band playing the live songs was a differential, excellent musicians. The singers were also surprised. The dinner that can be bought together is worthwhile, includes entry, main dish, a bottle of wine, and dessert. At each part of the dinner you can choose one of four options.
Among the numerous options for tango concerts in Buenos Aires, I chose one that was out of the badaladas by websites and agencies. Great choice: I booked and paid in cash at the hotel reception. Vc needs to work the price, I got a value below the take-off. As it was in Recoleta, inside the package they sent a taxi to the hotel and after the show there was already another taxi waiting for me for the return. The Show: Great reception, good service from the waiters, a bottle of wine for every two people, beer at will. The food served in 3 steps was excellent, exceeding any expectations. One of the best meats I've ever eaten in Buenos Aires. The show is very pleasant, great dancers is not exhausting and folklore to occupy the time. The house because it is not very large, has a very nice atmosphere. It's worth checking out!
We invite my Spanish cousins to see a tango show. We received the pleasant surprise that it was a first line authentic tango show from which we like the porteños for export excellent attention cordiality and delivery of the artists super recommended!!!!
We went to this tango show with a very efficient return transfer, the restaurant had a great structure, very beautiful and historic and the dinner, which was included, was very good (entrance and main dish) although the dessert I asked was not the best. The service was good, although sometimes the waiter sumed near our desk and served another part close to where he stayed. The tango show was broadway style (just not so well synchronized) with many dresses and styles, the musicians were great and the singers had a good performance; however the dancers should rehearse more, because they are not sharp and synchronized as some professional tango dancers we see on TV besides sometimes some pairs of dancers tamp each other on stage, it seemed to me a lack of rehearsal on their part. Anyway it was a beautiful experience, the price paid off considering the quality of the dinner, the transfer and the show included.
Faced with so many options of tango houses to be visited and appreciated in Buenos Aires, I can say that the choice was quite right. Actually, the hotel where we were made us the offer, and I guarantee it was very well worth it. The tango house picked us up with their transfer at the hotel and left us after the presentation, in the middle of Tuesday night. The house is beautiful, with nice lighting and very professional service. The dinner also deserves to be mentioned, as it pleased all who were with me. Finally, the show: four pairs of dancers, a singer, a singer and the excellent musicians. These were formidable tango performances, with a lightness that invites us to go to Buenos Aires more often. A man at the table next door, probably Argentinian, commented that the songs sang represented "the real Argentine tango." I leave here my suggestion to book a night, dinner and watch the presentations.

Show maravilhoso, excepcionalmente bom
Comida passavel
Serviço muito atenciososo, especialmente os garçons Homero e Ovidio
