An excellent introduction to Argentine food. Martin, our guide was informative and interesting. We got to try some very tasty food, and the opportunity to make and taste mata was fun and interesting.

We really enjoyed this experience. Juan was super knowledgeable and made it fun but informative at the same time. The meat and cheese plate was first class.
It was very interesting to learn about history and taste some fantastic wines. I had an amazing time, Ezequiel was great!
Great group of people last night! Had visitors/residents from the USA, Peru, Venezuela, and Argentina! Tasted some great wines and had some terrific conversations. I encourage anyone living in or visiting Buenos Aires to participate in one of these events!
Very good experience to learn a little more about Argentinian wines. Good place to meet people from around the world and learn about new cultures.
Had an amazing time on this wine tour in Buenos Aires, all thanks to our guide, Sebastian. He was super cool and knew tons about both the city's history and wine, which made our tour really interesting. We started in plaza de Mayo with stroies about the city itself. Next up was the main event at Che Malbec. It's a cozy place with a chill vibe and a ton of different wines. The tasting was amazing and Sebastian and the Che Maæbec host explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Plus, the wines were all really tasty! And let's not forget about the charcuterie. It was delicious and went so well with the wines. Overall, this tour was a fantastic mix of history, wine, and food. If you're in Buenos Aires, definitely give it a go. It's a great way to learn about Argentina's wines, enjoy some tasty food, and have a lot of fun while you're at it. Big thumbs up to Sebastian and Che Malbec!
I really enjoyed the wine tasting event hosted by Baires, everything was perfect. The wine was delicious and we started with three different wines- white, rosé and red. Everything was explained perfectly and we were taught how to taste the wine and how to identify the different scents and flavours. We were given delicious cheeses and chocolate to go with the wine which matched really well. I feel like a learned a lot about wine in this event. Not only it was really informative, but there was a really pleasant and social vibe. I'm a solo traveller, and it was a great opportunity to talk to new people and make new friends 😊 After the wine tasting, there was tango dancing too! I got to see a private tango dancing show and even got taught by the professional tango teachers some steps! Excellent event, I'll definitely drop by again when I'm back in Buenos Aires in the future!
I did the wine tasting experience in Che Malbec with Experience Bairas in the heart of buenos aires in Avenida de Mayo. The place is super cool and cosy, looks like a wine cave with a lot of options of argentine wines. To the wine tasting we try 4 types of argentine wines and It was amazing! Also we had a cheese, bread and empanadas included which completed the experience. Also Gabriela the guide tour was super friendly and nice explaining all about the history of the area. I definitely recommend do this wine tasting if you're visiting Buenos Aires for a short or long time! I loved this experience.
Not sure how often this happens but I booked as a solo traveler and the booking was confirmed with a ticket only to be informed by the operator that there was no guide that day so I needed to cancel the morning of the tour! Very disappointed!
Had an amazing wine-tasting evening with Laura and the crew from Experience Baires & Tierra Mendocina. We tasted delicious Malbec, Torrontes and Bonarda varieties, which were paired with simple and tasty cheese and jelly. It was also really cool that we could get to know more about the history and cultural background of wine in Argentina, as we were also interested in the origins of wine and not only the technical aspects of wine tasting. 100% recommended!
I had a wonderful time in this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the founding of Buenos Aires and the role that wine played in its founding. I only gave it 3 out of 5 stars because I think the description didn’t match the experience. At least half of the tour was a walking tour about history and when we got to the wine shop, we only tasted 2 wines. When I read the description, I expected to try a whole bunch of different wines to learn about the different regions and varietals. While I appreciated the history lesson, the description needs to be changed.
Priscilla was great! She started with a walk on the Plaza and then we went to the wine tasting. The tasting was well done. I enjoyed the wines and cheese and the store staff was knowledgeable. The empanada for dinner was good and I enjoyed the open air market. I highly recommend this tour! She even called me a cab to get back to the hotel. Thank you!
A fun tour and tasting of Argentine wine. This is my second experience with Juan and he was excellent!
Excellent experience. Juan is a great guide. After a tour around the center of Buenos Aires we headed to San Telmo where we met the owner of Tierra Mendocina Wine Bar. There we were presented with excellent wine pairings and learned about the history of wine in Argentina. Very informative and learned a ton. Great way to start an evening. Highly recommend.
I greatly enjoyed the experience, learned about wines of the region and tried them. it was a fun event with friends, we tasted wine, ate some cheese and salami, laughed a lot and listened to the stories, told by our guides. Guides from this tour company are all very friendly and nice people, and they know so much about the city and about the country, but they tell stories, not just give you historical dates and names.
I came from the Bay Area for work to visit Buenos Aires. I wanted to do an authentic experience to learn more about wine and culture in Buenos Aires. As I have family living here, I thought it would be nice to bring them with me to this tour. And it didn't disappoint. Juan and his team of Experience Baires were great hosts. They were both informative and welcoming by showing us the Buenos Aires' historical area and the wine tasting session. Thanks to them, we discovered the Tierra Mendocina wine shop, where we had the chance to be attended by its owner, Flavio. It would have been difficult to discover all of these on our own. Totally recommended
If you like wine and have a good time you will not regret it. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines.
I absolutely recommend this wine tasting activity with Experience Baires. In particular, Juan was an awesome host who showed us our way into wine culture in Argentina. We tried delicious white and red wine varieties. Also, Tierra mendocina is a cozy winery where you really enjoy an intimate yet enriching experience. Flavio and Martina, owner an employee of the winery, were awesome hosts as well. We also learned a lot of history about Buenos Aires in the historic downtown. A complete must-do!
Cool people, good talk and the experience was the + In addition to that, there was a need for an event in the city that makes visitors feel comfortable and can make new friends and connections 🙌
An excellent tour. Laura, the guide, makes the experience unforgettable, she has all the information about the city, and if she is missing something, she gets it in seconds! The wines that you try in the tasting are exquisite and allow you to get an idea not only of the Argentine wine culture, but also of the quality of its wines, which taste much better in company.
Very nice walk, guide and the person in charge of the tasting very good vibes. I rate three stars because since there were only 2 opened only 2 wines and the teaspoon were only a few pieces of cheese. therefore the experience was not like the one in the photos, it was more intimate and less variety of wines but it was okay. Frani very cool, we had a lot of fun!
The wine tasting was fine, the wines were very tasty and the snacks too. The explanation was limited. Furthermore, the tour guide spoke poor English and seemed a bit unprepared. This added little, we would have preferred to do the wine tasting alone for less money.
Wine tasting, we learned a lot about wines and how to taste and understand them. Juan and his team were very attentive to us. Super recommended.
Very good my experience on this tour and wine tasting, the truth highly recommended. I will definitely go again
I shared a great experience with the Experience Baires guys, what I liked the most was the cultural exchange between the participants and the tour guides, the selected place is located in one of the most historic neighborhoods of the city so I found it an enriching experience. I would definitely do it again!!
