Did this tour in a cool and sunny day which makes it a lot more attractive . You get picked up at the hotel and then driven to the ranch. Thereafter at 1100-1630hrs you are invited to partake in horse rides, horse carriage ride, talk in gaucho culture, lunch with a good and entertaining show highlighting the fences in the region as well as a quick overview of tango. This is followed by gaucho tricks on horses and a tea with mate . It ticks all you want to see in outside BA and was okay for me . I left happy and satisfied . Will recommend in future . Just be aware that this outdoor, so bring sunblock and insect repellent and your shoes will get muddy at some parts

Terrific tour guide. English skills excellent. Guacho ranch beautiful, horse riding about 20 minutes and well organized. Lunch on veranda lovely. Show very interesting . Mosiquitoes are a problem. Treat clothes and skin before going. Very hot so dress accordingly. Highly recommend.
The morning was very slow. Alot of free time. Would suggest taking your bathing suit. Lunch and entertainment was great it was a long hot day
Susanna was a very attentive caring guide. Amazed at the amomt of meat they served. Food was very good. Service great! Thoroughly enjoyed the gaucho show Very skilled individuals. The entertainers at lunch were wonderful !Had a great day!
A great day out, horse riding, watching the Gauchos, great food with a fabulous show. Tour guide & staff at the ranch were lovely.
Staff was nice, spoke good English and was helpful. However, the whole event was way to long and the horse show way to short. 30 minutes out of 5 hours! For me a bit of waste of time in hindsight. I also didn’t like that the gauchos were not really dressed up. Would have made a difference in the photos.
We had a wonderful time. The folkloric music and dancing were excellent and the demonstration of gaucho riding was impressive. Of note were the birds, including barn owls, which we saw on the carriage and tractor rides—a good place for birding.
A day full of entertainment! For city folk like we are, going to a farm is always fun. Horse-riding, carriage riding, zip lining, activities galore. But the lunch with grilled meat and plenty of Malbec plus great live entertainment (music, tango, folklore dances, etc) was the highlight of the tour.
The lunch show was nice but other than that there really wasn't anything to do during the 6 hours we were there. They had a nose to tail horseback ride that was 15 minutes long that you had to wait in line 2 hours to go on. There were a lot of people just standing around looking for something to do. And the mosquitos were everywhere. The little suckers were going through my jeans!
Great Day! Good Food and entertainment. As much as you like of meats and wine and beer. Talented and spirited staff at teh Ranch. Eduardo was Wonderful Guide. Comfortable transportation. Great value
LOTS of pick ups. This doubled our journey there and back!! Ridiculously short ride on a horse like 20 mins max. No health and safety or instruction. I had an unruly horses :-( Our servers were not attentive we had nothing on our table for a very long time (not even cutlery) whilst the rest of our travel group had starters and drinks. We advised we didnt eat meat (which looked very good if you eat meat) but the veggie food was pretty poor and we felt like second rate citizens for the whole meal. Entertainment saved the day. We gave what we thought was a tip for the dancers and singer only to find we were asked to layer contribute again. We 100% would not have tipped the service / food We’re told the there would be an English guide but had minimal / no translation Utter waste of a day and money etc. Do not bother with this trip
Long pick up cycle we were unfortunately the first and last to be dropped off which doubled our travel times. Vegetarian options were pretty poor. Not served with the rest of our group (drinks or food). A lot of hanging around with little to do. The horse riding was super short I have had longer pony rides on the beach as a child. The horse kept head butting my shin and was totally unhappy. Having said that the singer was very good and the dancers were pretty good too. Our English guide spoke a lot to all of the Spanish speaking customers and the day had minimal translation. I am sad to say that It was overall a very disappointing day. I would not recommend this as an authentic day out Overpriced and poor service.
Had a good time. There were plenty of well-organized events. I thought it was a little pricey for no pick up. I had to take a taxi to another hotel for the pick-up. Food and staff were superb.
One of the big attractions around Bueno Aires allows you to spend a day at an estancia or ranch. I went to Don Silvano about an hour or so outside of the city. The day starts with an empanada and a drink before you have the option of a horseback ride or carriage ride. The day really gets going from around noon with a lesson on the Argentine asado and the traditions surrounding the renowned cooking techniques. This is followed by a tour of the facilities including a history of the family and a stop at a traditional gaucho homestead. What follows is a huge feast of a variety of meats, fries, and salads and a raucous show of Argentinian music and interaction between the singer and dancers and the guest. The day is wrapped with a series of demonstrations by the in-house gauchos. This is a very well-organised day out and gets you away from the hustle and bustle of Bueno Aires.
Very nice day! Good show, signer, dancers, staff is very nice. Food is so so, meat is not alway tender, but generous portions along with wine and other drinks.
This estancia experience included a full day of varied experiences: Gaucho performance, singers/tango performers, tour of the grounds, lunch. All performers were outstanding.
We loved the explanation of the tour guide at the bus (and the matta). The show during the lunch was nice and interactive. The show with the horses was incredible
My wife really wanted to go horseback riding in Argentina and her we encountered so much more. First provided transportation was in a 18 passenger. There was good communication telling us what time to expect them. Ride from downtown Buenos Aires to the ranch is about an hour and 15 – hour and 30 minutes depending on the on traffic. Once there you were met with a meat filled local snack, which was very good, and your choice of soft drinks or wine. The rest of the morning was spent roaming around the ranch, going horseback riding, horse drawn carriage riding, there was a bit of a wait, 30 minutes to enjoy those experiences. They also had a suspended bridge climb and zip line to try. Finally, there was many animals and birds to visit and explore. Lunch started at 1 PM and consisted of salad, french fries, and five different types of meat plus dessert. Bring a big appetite. Beer, wine and soft drinks were also served with the meal and unlimited quantities. The food was good and I felt they did an excellent job serving almost 300 people in attendance. Our seats were right in front of the stage, and the entertainment was lively with various types of tango, dances and music from different parts of Argentina plus around the world. The musicians and dancers were very energetic. Certainly helps if you understand Spanish as most of the speech by the singers and dancers is in Spanish. After dessert, we filed out of the dining hall and worked our way over to the gaucho experience. They were they had horse races, gaucho roping demonstrations, and finally a horse whisperer performing some amazing acts with his horse. The afternoon concluded with one more dessert and local tea type drink. Then we were back on the bus and headed back into the city. Drop off was conveniently located near our hotel. Overall, the experience was excellent and gives you a realistic taste of what ranch life is like in Argentina. Definitely a good value of both your time and money. Locals as well as people from all over the world were in attendance. On our bus, we had a woman from Kakistain, couples and families from Columbia, England, the United States and Perú.
It would have been nicer to either have more free time or simply more time to enjoy all the various activities. As it was, we had a horseback ride, ropes course (with zipline), a marvelous Argentine dinner, and a gaucho horsemanship skills demonstration. That's a lot to cram in. A special note goes out to our guide, Erica. She had to sub in for another guide at the last minutes and was not as fluent in English as she wished, but she was a dear. She even transcribed some information (through Google Translate) on paper in flawless penmanship. Thank you Erica!
Be prepared to eat! I was travelling with three teens, one who can’t have gluten and one who is vegetarian. So I packed lunches expecting food would be an issue. Not at all! Despite us not knowing to communicate dietary needs early, the staff prepared vegetable empanadas for the morning, and for lunch grilled a heaping plate of vegetables. They provided gluten-free snacks and bread for my other child. We were fed three times in less than five hours! Lunch was a nonstop parade of barbecued meats. The entertainment was wonderful! The singer sang songs from the country of each guest, and as we are Canadian asked if we spoke French or English and was prepared to sing either. The dancers were as entertaining as you would see in BA. We had two guides who spoke in English. One from the tour company and one from the ranch, which was helpful. The gift shop had many interesting things for reasonable prices. The skills demos were fascinating. It was not entirely what we expected for a gaucho experience, but it entertaining and we went home many pounds heavier. It was the most accommodating experience we had in our two weeks in Argentina.
Horseriding tour around the estate Swimming pool facility Singer guitarist Nature Good food and variety
We visited Estancia Don Silvano to see the gauchos and learn more about their culture. Our guide met us at our hotel and after picking up another couple, we started our way to the ranch. We arrived around noon and had some spare time to ride horses and eat some empanadas. Next, we had lunch while que attended an entertaining gaucho show. We also saw some gaucho horse racing after lunch. We had a lovely day and enjoyed it very much. Thanks.
Great day trip from Buenos Aires. The Estancia is quite large and very well maintained. The lunch we had was enormous and the food was excellent! There is a music show with dancers while having lunch and they were also really great! For me the highlight was watching horse race and performance of gauchos. It was really hot day, but there is plenty of shade everywhere. It's typically touristic thing, but it's nice to see how people used to live.
Very enjoyable. Different activities for you to get involved with, including zip-line. The food was very good and everyone involved in the show, dancers, singers and musicians, were top notch. I definitely recommend it.
Great day out of the city. See and learn about Gaucho way of life. Enjoy music and dance plus equestrian expertise. Good food and wine
Best value of all our tours. Would definite recommend it to anyone traveling in Buenos Aires. Thanks again to all involved. Jim
We had a great day at Don Silva, the experience was exactly as described. We loved the empanadas.. best we have had! We then had a horse ride before lunch. The lunch & entertainment were really enjoyable & we had a thoroughly good time, we thought there was plenty of good food & drinks. The gaucho horse display was a good end to the afternoon. Transfers were good & our driver & guide were excellent. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Enjoyed our trip to the gaucho ranch. The lunch was abundant and delicious and the accompanying show was great. Took the carriage ride - quite a bit bumpy but fun. Learned about the horses and saw a demonstration of the gauchos with the horses. Would highly recommend this trip.
Pretty good: a busy day with 1 hour in a minibus (30 minutes in the suburbs and 30 minutes in the countryside on the motorway), a short 20-minute horse ride accessible to all (more than 1.3m I think) or horse-drawn carriages, presentation of history Gaucho, 2-hour meal with local musical and dance entertainment, horseback acrobatics show and snack to finish. Overall a good tourist-oriented experience, the missing star because I would have liked more authentic, but for that you have to go very far into the countryside of Argentina (allow 1 day of travel there + 1 day on site to see herds of cows ;)
It is a different type of tour than the standard one in Buenos Aires, not to mention the city is always beautiful, but this tour is more about getting to know the culture, the countryside, the food, Totally recommendable...I suggest you contact the Estancia directly and hire the transportation separately, it is cheaper and you avoid the markup of the intermediaries
Buen trato, empanadillas espectaculares, carne muy normal para ser Argentina y espectáculo gaucho lo mejor
The food was very bad, the cold fries, the chori and morel too, the chicken dry and cold, and the worst was the meat, it was reheated was not that morning, the only thing that zafo was the flan, but with little flavor. The show when they said malambo I was happy, I'm still waiting for the shoehorning. the rest good. very good the guitar guys. (more than 10 years of rocks). The horses few but fine, and the skills impeccable. Lazy cooked mate, small glasses and medium cold. I'M NOT COMING BACK!!!
Excellent Service and planning, food, route, horses everything was in place. I recommend you go without hesitation
Un ambiente maravilloso con gente sincera. Conocí gente de muchas partes del mundo. Gracias a los organizadores
