Fabulous show. The band, the dancers and the dances, the costumes, the songs and the singing were all top notch. The show takes you through the development of tango through the decades. It was magical. The waiters service and the food were good too.

Fantastic show. The whole evening was wonderful. The dancing was spectacular, the food was delicious and the staff were lovely. A tango show in Buenos Aires is a must. Cannot recommend enough.
The experience was outstanding and enjoyed every moment of the show and the dinner was high end quality too.
My wife always wanted to watch a tango show in Buenos ASires, and I searched for the most authentic experience. We were lucky to find this grand old Tango house, a cozy environment much unlike the large-salon tourist-trap ones I knew previously from other experiences. El Querandí delivered superbly, from the excellent dinner to the quality of the dancers, musicians and atmosphere. Fully recommend it!
We just had the drinks and starter/desert option, we didn't have dinner but we went really for the music and dance. Feels more intimate than a big show, the dancers and musicians were great. Expected more drinks for the price, just got one each.
We were amazed how great the performance was. The food was very good and we had great seats. We can really recommend to see the show.
We really enjoyed this evening out in Buenos Aries. It was a charming, reasonably intimate, venue that was in keeping with the entertainment to come. The meal beforehand was very nice with a good selection, which was well cooked, presented with attentive service. The show was excellent performing a 'history' of the tango though the last 100 years or so. I know nothing about dancing, let alone the Tango, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting the accompanying instrumentalists or singers, but that added to the show. Highly recommended.
Very confusing communications. Bought the Rojo Tango but kept sending us info on El Queranfi and sent us the wrong tickets and wrong time and location. Rojo called us because we missed dinner due to wrong tickets with wrong time. Recommend go directly to Rojo for their show and not purchase through this vendor. We will be asking for a refund. Very disappointed
The dancing was amazing!! The show demonstrated how the Tango evolved over the years. The singers were great.
This exceeded our expectations. The dancers were amazing they had beautiful Technique and professionalism!
The coordination was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and both the show and performance demonstrated remarkable professionalism. The musicians, in particular, were truly extraordinary. This experience is highly recommended.
Congratulations! A great experience! History of tango without a word! Fantastic live music, professional musicians, smart scenario, and, most of all, great dancers!!!! Costumes, accessories, hairdressing, movements, expression... The singers... Authentic tango from its roots... And also, good food and service!
A fantastic tango experience in Buenos Aires. We booked the package including lessons, dinner, and a show. The prices are reasonable for such a great show. We highly recommend it.
This was a fabulous tango show and dinner recommended by our hotel. More authentic than some of the ‘Hollywood’ style shows. The 3 course dinner was delicious with different choices for entree, main course and dessert. The tango dancing was amazing and followed a story line with the history of tango in BA and the costumes were spectacular. The musicians also played brilliantly. Downside is it is in quite a small restaurant with shared tables and a small stage and it can be difficult to see the performers from all angles. On the expensive side but I guess it’s a once off event.
Small tango show and theater. Great performance, music and four piece orchestra. Dinner is available before although we did not opt for that option.
Great tango performance with a complete cultural immersion of the history and evolution of Tango in Buenos Aires! Dinner was good as well...
The food was very good and the staff was very accommodating and efficient in serving food. Problem we had was viator said the experience was about one and a half hours. The tables are arranged that you have very little room to move and the chairs were not comfortable to me. The show did not start until one hour 45 minutes after the start time. We did not stay for the whole show because it was too long sitting. If the tour description was more accurate, we would have delayed our arrival time. I would recommend to a friend, however, I would be more clear about the timeline.
Let me start with "I am not a dancer or dance fan". We took the no dinner option, so review is only about the show. This was a great evening with very nice and entertaining performance. Show covers the history of tango and presents very different styles of this great dance. Definitely evening well spent, definitely recommend!
Very good music and dancing. A bit more narration on the evolution of the tango would be appreciated. Food was good, not great. Dessert was very good. Certain seats had much better views of the stage than others. We were at the end of a long table and several people (or others holding up cameras recording most of the show) were obstructing the view.
We did the VIP package for better seating and dinner options. The seats were good, dinner lousy. By far the worst meal in BA. We were seated next to patrons on the non-VIP menu and their food looked much more appealing. The wine was so-so and water was never replenished. The dining portion was a complete let down. This was our first tango show and no point of comparison. The music and dancing were enjoyable. Overall, way overpriced ($170 each) and would not do again.
An enjoyable evening, obviously aimed at tourists. The venue was absolutely packed, with everyone sharing tables, the food was good, with a reasonable choice, and the service efficient as they needed to feed everyone before the show. The show itself was very good, with dancing and music demonstrating the history of Tango over the years. Would recommend it.
We came to see tango and got so much more than expected. The show was an historical journey of tango and it's evolution. There was singing and various forms of tango. Some of the Modern Tango was quite acrobatic. It was truly a feast of the senses.
EL QUERANDI a wonderful TANGO-Evening in Buenos Aires December 27th 2025 #784-0010205 Starting from the excellent transfer service to the warm welcome in the place (full but not overpacked), ALL WAS PERFECT, The very good food an wine quality, the very efficient service and ofcourse THE WONDERFUL TANGOSHOW. EVERYTHING PROMISED WAS DELIVERED, would say more than. Go and see it. Herbert
We only went for the show, not dinner, but it was the most incredible evening of authentic tango excellent music to accompany. It is a venue where lots of people are seated, but this doesn’t detract from the artistry at all. Just one tip, get there early for the chance of a good seat.
The show was fantastic. Mixture of music, singing and dance outlining the history of the Argentinian tango. Loads of good quality food with plenty of options and nice wine. We only gave it 4/5 as there was no info on timing (3Hrs) and we struggled to get a taxi home late at night. Otherwise a brilliant experience.
The meal, the show, the atmosphere and the service were all excellent. The reason I took away a star is that there is a pole in the center of the stage that obstructed my view which I found very irritating. I was seated at a table in the second row, so I expected a good view.
Classic Argentine Tango Show. Informative and entertaining. A great evening. Our view was a little restrictive to the side of the stage.
We attended the show only, opting to eat elsewhere. The venue was lovely and gave quite an authentic feel. The quality of dancing was amazing and the 4 piece band were brilliant. The show was continuous for 1.5 hours without a break and well worth the money paid. It certainly topped off our visit to this wonderful city.
Athletic, intense energy and yet elegant. Very professional. Musicians were excellent. Highly recommend.
We booked the VIP dinner-and-show package at El Querandí for a Saturday night, and wow, what a spot! The venue's got this classic Buenos Aires charm, tucked away in San Telmo. Our table was right by the stage, so we had the best view-perfect for snapping photos and videos of the dancers, who were absolutely incredible. The tango performance was electric: live orchestra, passionate singers, and those couples moving like magic. We left a bit early to beat the Uber rush, but caught most of the show, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was solid too-three courses, all tasty Argentine flavors-but it felt super rushed, like we had to inhale it in under ninety minutes without any heads-up on timing. That was frustrating. Staff were friendly and welcoming, though the language barrier was real; we barely understood a word since everything's in Spanish, and no English explanations came through. Biggest gripe? They put a fancy bottle of red wine on our VIP and the waiter chatted away in Spanish, and hit us with a fifty-dollar upcharge on the bill. I did not understand that we had to pay extra for it. We thought it was included, but nope-felt sneaky, especially when others got cheaper bottles for free. Would've been happier with the standard option and clear costs upfront. Still, for the show alone, it's worth it-just go with a friend who speaks Spanish or ask for an English menu rundown!
We booked the no dinner option. It was nice we got a dessert but we showed up at the start time indicated and the show didnt start til one hour plus later! Clearly a tourist trap, regretting booking this
The musicians and performers blew me away. The show was well constructed as in it unfolded the history of the tango not by telling but by showing. There were a wide variety of dancers and singers who kept the spectacle rolling all night long. The only thing I personally had issues with was that I don’t know Spanish and couldn’t appreciate the singers after awhile. However the listening fatigue didn’t kick in until later in the show. The food (I ordered the sirloin) was awesome. Grilled to perfection. And the wine was very tasty.
Food was mediocre, the performance was mediocre. Me and my husband left early, the show was supposed to be 75 minutes, we probably left after 30. It seemed as though lots of The audience was bused in from a cruise ship. We way overspent!!
I think if you have limited time in Buenos Aires this would be a good introduction to Tango. The dancing was very nicely done. The food was excellent and the service good. It lacked the intimacy I was seeking but overall it was good.
This was an exceptional show of the history of tango. The meal was delicious and the service of the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this show if you are coming to Buenos Aires.
Food and service perfect Performance was incredible- but be prepared for a late night. Highlight of our few days in Buenos Aires
I researched dozens of different Tango shows, looking for one that would be exciting, excellent, informative, intimate, polished, and memorable. We believe we chose the very best one!! The menu couldn't accommodate my dietary restrictions, so we purchased the "show only" tickets. Bit we still were offered a bottle of wine for the 3 of us - and it was excellent as well! I highly recommend this show to anyone wanting to enjoy and learn more about the history of the Tango!
Outstanding performance accompanied by a very nice dinner. If you’re looking for a more “homy” show, perhaps this is a better option.
Amazing tango experience. Food was good quality, house alcohol is unlimited, and the tango show was fantastic. Really skilled dancers and musicians and show went on for just the right amount of time. Would definitely recommend and we’re tempted to go back before we leave!
The first part was too long and there was too much singing. I really just want to see the dancing. Good experience
There are so many tango performance options making it quite difficult to select one. We booked the El Querandi and enjoyed every aspect of the performance. The theatre is quite small but is a perfectly adequate venue. The dinner was excellent, in fact the food exceeded our expectations. Each course was delicious. Serving staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The performance involved a band and five dancing couples and included a number of excellent singers. The dancers was just amazing. It was a high energy performance by obviously very skilled dancers. It was riveting. We highly recommend the El Querandi.
We bought the entry-level dinner+show option and were seated very close to the action! The food was pretty decent, the table service was excellent, and the show itself seemed very authentic. The eating and drinking part took 1h45m and the dancing/singing part took 1h15m. We made our own way there and back (just catch an Uber).
This was my 70th birthday "party". The food was fantastic but the dancing and music surpassed all of expectations It was a truly memorable evening. Thank you so much to everyone at El Quarandi for such a spectacularly emotional evening
We had the show and dinner deal for two and we had a blast! The nice and clean van picked us up at our hotel, took us to the place where a nice dinner was served followed by a fantastic show! Then a safe ride back to Hotel. Yes we opted to have an upgraded bottle of wine which costed us a little more but it was well worth it! The 💃 dancers and players are fantastic and we will not hesitate to go back! We loved the show! Please get the steak and flan! They are superb!
Great Show, great actor! I didn‘t ordered the Food, but I think this was also smarter, which I would give young people and students as an advice to get you something somewhere else before/after and just enjoy the show with the drinking flat of wine and Beer :)
Three course Argentinian dinner menu was really delicious! You can see why Argentinians eat a lot of meat, they really can prepare it medium as I asked for. You had opportunity to drink ”vino del pueblo” red wine called San Telmo. The service was brilliant, worth for tipping. The tango show started right after the dinner. I was stunned how skilled dancers they were! The show itself gave me better picture how difficult but elegant tango is! I really suggest it for the people who is interested in about Argentinian culture or dance itself. Great experience!
This Tango Show takes you through the History of The Tango in Buenos Aires. Excellent dancers and singers. We had the dinner as well. You are allowed to choose the items you want: We took the pumpkin cream soup, steak (bife de Chorizo) and lemon ice cream. They had lamb, pork, chicken, risotto, pasta and vegetarian options as well. The meal came with free beverages as well: wine, mineral water, soft drinks, beer, coffee or tea. Very efficient serving! I recommend you go to a different show each time you visit Buenos Aires as they are all different and fun. We also had Tango lessons and Wine tasting a few hours before the show started. Very fun day.
The music, singing and dancing were absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend this dinner & show combo. The food was delicious as well. The food is served first so if you are not getting food you can arrive a little later as the show doesn’t start until after 9:30. Such a great night, well worth it!
The atmosphere was intimate, and we had good views of the show. We did not feel crowded at our table. The service was very pleasant and the food was very good. The photographer took a nice photo us of us as a memento, that we purchased. The dancers were very skilled, as was the band. It was a pleasant evening, soaking up the culture of Buenos Aires.
Great show- we only did the show and had a dessert or starter included. Dessert was quite tasty, and the show was fantastic. A good introduction for a foreigner. We didn’t feel crammed in and thankfully there was no pillar in the way. For those seats, a bit of shuffling of your chair would still make the experience work, but perhaps they should discount those seats to some degree. I’d recommend it!
