We will tour the first floor of this museum, where the most important works of classical Argentine art are located. We will learn about the culture of the country through the selection of 8 different works, belonging to different periods. In addition, the guide will teach you a way to interpret a classic painting. All in a pleasant and entertaining way.
We will walk along one of the most beautiful avenues in the city. Full of parks and trees.
We will explore El Decorativo. An old mansion that used to belong to an aristocratic Buenos Aires family. In it we will tour the different rooms, while the guide tells you the history of the family that used to live there and you will also appreciate some of their most important works.
We will walk through one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of the city. Full of tree-lined streets and majestic streets.
After talking about classic Argentinean art, we will stop at one of the most important museums in South America. Here we will analyze pieces of contemporary Latin American art, both its cultural environment and its difference with traditional art.

Tony gave us a great overview of art in Argentina, leading us from the European influences at the time of independence to contemporary Latin American artists. The tour was just enough to get a taste, without being overwhelming. That said, we felt rushed. We needed more time in each museum with our guide. He showed us a few highlights and then gave us 15 minutes to roam around on our own. It would have been much better if we had had another 20 minutes or so in each location with him explaining the significance of more art. All in all, it was a lovely introduction, but a more in-depth experience would have been ideal.

The best way to experience the museums in Buenos Aires. Our guide Anthony helped us skip through the lines and presented an incredible overview of Argentina's art history. Never boring we were treated to insider knowledge while exploring some of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Highly recommended!
Tony was a fantastic guide and the tour had a good balance of modern and older art, we learnt a lot about Argentinian history and culture. Definitely recommended!
Tony was amazing. He had great energy, spoke good English and had great knowledge of Argentinian history and the art we saw on his tour. He was also a great source for restaurant, bar and museum recommendations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS TOUR!!!
The museums were great and the historical context and tips for the rest of our trip provided by our guide made the day complete. Highly recommend.
Tour guide Tony was very knowledgeable about cultural highlights of Buenos Aires and in particular about works in the three museums we visited. He pinpointed several works in each museum to give us a flavor of the type of art in each location (Fine Arts, Decorative Arts, and contemporary Latin American Art). Tony was very personable and open to questions. The walk itself was at a reasonable pace and easily done within a couple of hours. I highly recommend for a sample of BA art culture!
Tony was very knowledgeable about the city, history and art. Tour was seamlessly put together. Pacing was excellent. In the museums you received a curated tour of highlights focused on a portion of the collection —- typically linked in some way to the history of Argentina (either an event in Argentina or the people of Argentina). In 3 or so hours we had a very enjoyable experience and learned a lot.
Tony did a great job creating this tour of both neighborhoods and art museums. He selected a few key items in each museum to orient us and give us a good idea if we’d like to go back for more. Very friendly, good knowledge about the art and neighborhood and history, and good pace. Highly recommend!
If you are an art lover but sometimes are overwhelmed when visiting museums, this is the tour for you. From classical to modern art, our tour guide took us through the various periods, pointing out and discussing the relevant art within the museums. Tony was a terrific guide with a command of the subject matter. A must do when in Buenos Aires!
Marvalous art tour, Tony is a terrific guide and he showed us a really interesting side of Buenos Aires, its museums and their sourrounding history. I 100% recommend it if you enjoy art, architecture, urbanism and want to explore a deeper sight of the city.
Tony was a great tour guide. We enjoyed our city/museum visit in Buenos Aires! I highly recommend this tour as he was well versed in the local history and fluent in English.
Tony was a great tour guide! He was so friendly and knowledgeable! Perfect speed for tour, covered modern art well. Did not feel rushed.
We really enjoyed this tour, especially the museum of fine arts was a highlight. We learned a lot about culture and history of Argentina from the guide.
If you're in Buenos Aires and crave an art and culture fix, Anthony's your guy. With a knack for storytelling and a lot of knowledge, he'll lead you through the city's most beautiful streets and into three must-see museums. His passion for art is contagious, and he's full of interesting facts and anecdotes that bring each exhibit to life. But what sets Anthony apart is his warmth and fun energy. He'll make you love Buenos Aires in a whole new way.
Tony is an excellent guide!!! One of the best I’ve ever had. He brings his passion (personal and professional) for art and knowledge of Argentinian history together in a beautiful afternoon where you walk away not only marveling about what you see but feeling a deeper connection with where you are. 5 stars. Must do.
Our tour guide Tony was the best. He is really knowledgeable and very kind and also gave me great recommendations for my trip in Buenos Aires. The tour itself was very well designed and the small size of the group allowed it to be a personal experience. I highly recommend!!
