Itinerary
Our third stop has us visiting one of the most creative local craft brewers in the city. They were one of the first to dive into the haze brews and they do a great job of pushing the envelope locally.
This is our second stop. This is an old converted home where you can see the beer production set up. This is still a small brewery, but they make a very good APA here.
This is where we will start the tour.

I really enjoyed my outing with Jackson to three craft breweries. It’s great to hear a local perspective on the politics and history of Argentina. I was also very interested in talking to the two drivers that AsadoAdventure arranged. It gave me a greater understanding of the diversity and vitality of this part of the world.
This was a really enjoyable experience. Jackson, our guide, was very knowledgeable about beer, the breweries, the city and gave us some insight into life in Argentina, as well as recommendations for the rest of our trip in South America. He was very personable and it was like spending an evening with a new friend. He really geared the options at each brewery to our preferences. The beer was very good and each brewery had its own special vibe. The feedback and communication with the tour company is excellent! Highly recommend the Craft Beer tour.
This is a great tour! I highly recommend it! Frank is great company, and is really knowledgeable about the breweries and beers. One of the best tours that I did on holidays!
This is THE best way to discover craft beer scene of Buenos Aires. Colegiales is full of great breweries and Frank knows them all. I definitely need to return to all those places for a few pints more someday.
My best travel experiences nowadays usually revolve around discovering local craft beer breweries, and this tour was a great way to find some I would never have found otherwise, and Frank's knowledge about the local craft beer scene is second to none. Highly recommended!
Entertaining and informative craft beer tour. Not only the beers were great but also the selected spots we went..thanks a lot frank
A great tour. Lots of fun meeting new people and sampling the craft beer scene in Buenos Aires. Got stuck into some great food too as the tour was run by a really knowledgeable chap called Frank who has lived there for a long time . He really knows his stuff beer and food!
We had a great time and drank some quality craft brews. Frank's knowledge of the local craft culture is deep and the places he took us were a lot of fun---I'm pretty sure I could not have found them on my own. This was the best tour I took on our trip, 100% recommend.
Okay, this tour was really fantastic. My cousin and I took this tour with Frank, and we absolutely LOVED it! We hit four places: one "beer store"/tap room, and four craft breweries. I used to brew beer as a hobby, and I can tell you I didn't have one bad or compromised beer in the lot. They were all true-to-style and delicious! We even had some Argentine bar food at one of them. One was a fried provolone cheese that was absolutely mouth-watering! Don't touch the hot skillet, though. My cousin learned the hard way <insert eye-roll>. Frank is an ex-pat from Chicago, but he's lived there over 20 years, so he knows his stuff. Don't hesitate to take this tour, you won't regret it. AND if you happen to stay at Miravida Soho hotel, he might even come and get you himself! He lives nearby. Thanks, Frank!
This was the best thing I did in Buenos Aires! It was a last minute decision on my last night and it more than exceeded expectations! It is through a cute neighborhood in BA that I can't imagine many tourists stumble upon, the beer was overall excellent and Frank is a knowledgeable and personable host. I quickly felt that I was out drinking with a buddy! Do yourself a favor and book it!
A simple way to ensure you visit the best breweries in the area as efficiently as possible. The tour was casual and informative. A great way to spend an evening in Buenos Aires.
The Craft Beer Adventure is a must-do tour if you're looking to experience great, local craft beer at some authentic, eclectic locals-only places. We hit the ground running, choosing to go on our tour pretty much immediately after we landed in Buenos Aires and we were so glad we did! Our tour guide Frank, was very accommodating to our needs and was an absolute pleasure to spend an evening with checking out the Colegiales neighborhood going over all manner of things - food, beer, art, Buenos Aires, history, travel. He is extremely knowledgeable and very easy and fun to talk to. Frank even sent us recommendations and pictures he took during our tour after! Everything about the tour was wonderful - the beers, the food, the breweries we visited - and after going on 4 different beer tours throughout Buenos Aires throughout our time there, I can easily say this one was our favorite (and probably the best!).
Amazing experience and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting buenos aires. We had a great time drinking local beers and eating some delicious food. We got to see parts of the city we would have not found on our own. Frank was very friendly and shared a great recipe with us. Very personal touch! I wish we would have done his Asado adventure.
Delfina was our guide and she was warm, friendly, and fun. We visited four breweries, tried a dozen beers, and she explained craft beer in the city. The beer was excellent, the tour was interesting, and our guide is a true professional. This tour is definitely worth the investment of several hours of your Buenos Aires time.
Excellent opportunity to meet and learn more about local culture, gastronomy and food trends. All within an authentic environment share by locals. Encourage participation 100%
I compare this experience to the documentary series Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain. Frank takes the role of an ex-Pat friend and conversations about local culture, Argentine economy, history, and art spills out over a few pints. Tour is more in depth than just beer.
All the feeling during the experience was awesome, Frank created a kind of pub crawl with tasting experience that I loved. The histories, the beers, the knowledge, and his own history is unbelievable. You should take this.
I had a great time on the craft beer tour with Frank. He took me to what I consider the best craft breweries and craft beer bars in Buenos Aires. Because of his connections I got to meet some of the owners and brewers. I highly recommend his tour if you want to find the best craft beer in the city!
Frank knows his beer. He knows where to find them. He knows off the "off the beaten path" locations that you had no idea were there. He gives you the history of the beer culture, the neighbourhood, and even the brewpub itself. This is a well paced tour, visiting 4 separate brewpubs/bars with a 5-10 minute walk in between each to break everything nicely. Also worth mentioning, it is the perfect time and length. It is late enough in the day to see the bars and the neighbourhood come alive, but it does not affect the rest of the day and you can schedule a full day morning tour before this. It also ends before the places a) get too busy and starts to bog down the experience and b) early enough in the evening so you can go back to your place and still have evening dinner/drink plans. Also worth mentioning, Frank brings his camera so you don't need to worry about spending half the tour trying to get the best photo. he's got everything covered. all in all, a great experience.
I had a great time with Frank, the owner of Asadoadventure and guide on this tour. He told me the histories of the different brewpubs and about the craft beer scene in Buenos Aires. The beers we tried ranged from classic pale ale and IPA to experimental sour ale and Imperial stout. It was a perfect start to my stay in Argentina!
Very good discovery of small breweries with excellent beers. Very friendly, open and knowledgeable about the subject. We went to places off the beaten track, to do ++ thank you for this discovery
Parcours découverte de brasseries locales très intéressant, des lieux où ne serions jamais allez seuls car il faut connaître. Dégustation de très bonnes bières, Jackson fut de très bonne compagnie et intéressant.
