This was a wonderful experience. Fatima, the guide, is very knowledgeable, gave us a critical historical perspective, has a charming personality and was flexible with our preferences. We could not have asked for more.

Itinerary
Caminito is the most famous pedestrian street in Buenos Aires. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city due to its colorful houses and its deep historical and cultural significance. Caminito is located in the popular La Boca neighborhood, on the coast of the Riachuelo River and just 400 meters from La Bombonera, the Boca Juniors stadium. It is a 150 meter long curved pedestrian walkway where important artistic works can be seen.
The Mafalda Monument is a sculpture dedicated to the most famous character of the cartoonist Quino: 'Mafalda' in which it could be seen materialized on a bench resting. The Mafalda Monument is located a few meters from where the artist lived, in the San Telmo neighborhood where a plaque that says 'Mafalda lived here' remembers him.
Recognized by various international media as one of the most emblematic soccer stadiums in the world, and declared of "sports, tourist and cultural interest in the city of Buenos Aires", it was inaugurated on May 25, 1940. Diego Armando Maradona defined this stadium like "The temple of the Mouth". Likewise, various sports glories such as Pelé, Zico, Andrés Iniesta and Thierry Henry, among others, have declared that at the Boca Juniors stadium there is a good experience. The stadium has a capacity for 40,000 seated spectators and 57,000 seated and standing spectators.
It is a large indoor market that is located in the San Telmo neighborhood. Although it preserves old shops selling vegetables and meat, today it is a tourist place and antique dealers abound. The old stalls "in the neighborhood" that have been preserved for several decades coexist with antique dealers, more recent and related as the tourist boom in San Telmo. The building also includes some premises that have their own entrance from the street, including greengrocers, liquor stores, a restaurant and two notable bars: "San Pedro Telmo", and "La Coruña"
Inspired by Madrid's Gran Vía, Avenida de Mayo is one of the largest and most important arteries in Buenos Aires. Tour the city from Plaza de Mayo with the Casa Rosada on one end, to the National Congress building on the other. Officially opened in 1894, it is worth going through, as it is like taking a trip through the entire history of the city.
It is a palace located in front of the Plaza de Mayo that functions as the seat of the National Government. This imposing pink building occupies the site where the Fort of Buenos Aires was erected in 1580. It was the residence of Spanish viceroys and then housed, with some reforms, the authorities of the successive national governments. The current building is the product of the merger of two previous constructions: the presidential headquarters and the Palacio de Correos (on the corner of Hipólito Yrigoyen and Balcarce).
It is the main seat of the Catholic Church of Argentina. In addition to being located at a key area of the City of Buenos Aires, it has a long history of disappointments in its construction. The current building is the sixth construction that has been carried out in this place since the second foundation of the City of Buenos Aires. Its final structure is neoclassical and has a profile rarely used in cathedrals, giving it a closer resemblance to a Greek temple than to the classic Catholic building.
Puente de la Mujer, one of the emblems of the Puerto Madero neighborhood, is the first work in Latin America by the renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and represents another example of the City permanently seeking to position itself at the forefront of art and architecture in the entire region. It is a revolving pedestrian bridge with one of the largest turning mechanisms in the world, designed to allow the passage of sailing vessels that navigate the docks of Puerto Madero. The work, made in Spain and donated to the City by a private individual, represents the image of a couple dancing tango, where the white pole symbolizes the man and the curved silhouette of the bridge is the woman.
Within the Parque 3 de Febrero, in Palermo, is the Rosedal, with a collection of more than 18,000 roses and a lake that surrounds it. It occupies a space that belonged to the fifth of Juan Manuel de Rosas, until it was defeated on February 3, 1852 in the Battle of Caseros. The work began with the landscaper Carlos Thays, the same one who built the Botanical Garden, Avellaneda Park and Lezama Park, among others. Then his disciple Benito Carrasco finished it in 1914.
It is located in the exclusive Recoleta neighborhood, which owes its name to the fact that there was the convent of the Recoletos monks, to which the neighboring Basilica Nuestra Señora del Pilar also belonged (the cemetery was built in the old garden of the monks ). It is the most visited in the city, for its numerous and imposing mausoleums and vaults, belonging to many of the main protagonists of Argentine history, such as that of Eva Perón (Evita), one of the most popular tombs. Likewise, it is worth a visit for its architectural value, since it is a sample of the times when the country was an emerging economic power and the main families of the city competed to build splendid pantheons. Many of the vaults and mausoleums are the work of important architects and are adorned with marbles and sculptures; more than 90 vaults have been declared a National Historic Monument.
The Athenaeum Grand Splendid was chosen by the British newspaper The Guardian as the second largest bookstore in the world. Built on the former Grand Splendid movie theater in the Recoleta neighborhood, it retains its former splendor and elegance, with the frescoed cupola, original railings, and intact decor. On the old stage - with the velvet curtain ajar - there is a bar that invites you to sit book in hand. You can also take advantage of the armchairs that are on both sides of the main room or be located in the exclusive boxes that work as small reading rooms. In the basement there is a sector dedicated to children's books, and the upper floor is dedicated to samples and exhibitions.
This imposing 20-meter-high sculpture that dominates the United Nations square was donated to the City of Buenos Aires by its author, the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano. It is made of stainless steel and aluminum and weighs 18 tons. It is the first sculpture in movement controlled by a hydraulic system and photoelectric cells. The work was inaugurated on April 13, 2002. Its name, "Floralis Generica", is a tribute to all the flowers. It is about the projection of a dream of its creator, that of building a large-scale structure that reflects the dynamism of our time. - At each tourist point they will go down and have between 15 and 20 minutes to take photos. -the guide will be with you at all times and will help you in each photo -I will tell you all the history of Buenos Aires and how it developed over the years. -know the most beautiful bookstore in the world

Fatima is an excellent guide . She and her very nice woman driver gave us a wonderful, very full morning tour learning much history and seeing the beautiful and varied neighbourhoods and architecture of BA . Fatima’s English is excellent and she was helpful above and beyond her professionalism with help with tickets and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended and best value way of seeing this city.
A great tour of Buenos Aires! Our host Massimiliano was fantastic - very knowledgeable with lots of interesting facts. He could not do enough for us and his communication pre-tour was excellent too. Highly recommend this!!
Was a great experience and the guides were great fun. Would highly recommend if you have the time In Buenos Aires
Diego was prompt to pick up my husband and me from our hotel. His car was comfortable and we saw many historical places in the city. We stopped several places, such as the Plaza de Mayo. After explaining about the Cathedral Metropolitans, he gave us time to explore it. Diego did the same at other stops: the Colorful Boca area, the San Telmo Market, the El Ateneo theater/bookstore, the huge flower art piece at the Park of the United nations. We saw many of the universities and neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. Diego has a good sense of humor and kept us engaged during the tour. After he dropped us off at our hotel, he sent some links for restaurants and the biggest leather store. Definitely a great tour.
Fátima, our guide , was very knowledgeable and friendly. Help us even with taking some pics. And Charlie, the driver also super nice guy. Overall a definitely recommend experience.
I had such a wonderful time on this tour of Buenos Aires. It was much more than just visiting beautiful places , it really helped me understand the soul, history, and diversity of the city. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and I really appreciated the way the stories behind the architecture, the people, and the different neighborhoods were explained. I also loved being able to ask questions and go deeper into the history, especially to better understand how the past has shaped Buenos Aires as it is today. The tour was professional, very well organized, but also warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable. I never felt rushed, and the explanations made the city come alive in a very special way. I left the tour feeling that I understood and appreciated Buenos Aires and Argentina. It gave me a new perspective on the city and made me like it even more. It made me appreciate the city and the country even more, especially after understanding more of their history, character, and ongoing transformation. I truly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. Do not hesitate, it is really worth it!
Diego was an awesome guide, very enthusiastic and full of information! We throughly enjoyed our tour and his banter. It was a great way to get an overview of the city. Thanks Diego!
Amazing tour. Was incredible efficient with time while still giving me the opportunity to see everything I wanted, and tailored to what I wanted to experience.
Ezequiel was a very enjoyable guide for our visit to Buenos Aires highlights. He has excellent English, and is a store of knowledge, stories and anecdotes. He picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the main sights in each sector of the town, and explained each as we walked around, including a side trip to the Recoleta cemetery. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to the city to get a sense of the important places and where you might want to go back to at a later time.
Massi was amazing. He made it so effortless and so knowledgeable about beautiful Buenos Aires. I had such an amazing time!
We loved Fatima, our guide, and Charlie, our driver!! They were absolutely fantastic! They were both incredibly friendly and pleasant - always smiling and happy. Our tour was even more enjoyable than we expected! Fatima was able to answer all our questions and had pictures ready on her phone to match the history and cultural insights she was sharing with us. Charlie always magically appeared at exactly the right place and time when we were ready for the next location on our itinerary. We saw, learned and enjoyed so much of Buenos Aires during our 4 hour tour! We highly recommend Fatima and this tour!!
Really appreciate being able to be picked up at the airport followed by our tour. The tour was just right in terms of what to see to get an idea of the major attractions of the city. Our guide was great, knowledgeable and very personable. Definitely recommend.
Diego was an amazing guide: we learned so many interesting things about Buenos Aires while having fun! The complete experience was seamless from pick-up at our hotel to drop-off at one of the best steak restaurants we have ever been to (we explicitly asked where to go). Diego was super knowledgeable and showed us around the best places in Buenos Aires. We enjoyed seeing iconic and not very well known areas at the same time, sipped some Mate and had a blast. 100% recommended!
Ezequiel was an excellent guide! He knows so much about the city and Argentinian/Buenos Aires history. I did this tour with my friend, and it could not have been a better fit. Ezequiel was communicative and on time for our pick up. He knew exactly which locations to go to in which order to maximize our tour experience, give us as much time as we wanted at each stop, and was able to answer our many questions about the locations we visited and Buenos Aires history. Furthermore, he was incredibly friendly and fun. I would recommend this tour and Ezequiel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires looking for an informative, convenient, and fun tour of the city.
Went with Diego on a tour. It was so much fun and insightful at the same time. Highly recommend this tour
Fantastic service! I managed to see everything so wanted in this 4 hours! The car was very comfy an Ezequiel very knowledgable! 1000% recommended
Diego, our guide was great. His knowledge of the city and many little known facts kept us interested and amused. For a first timer in BA, take this tour!
This was an excellent introduction to Buenos Aires.
When I arrived, my husband had been touring Buenos Aires for one week. He raved that the 4-hour tour was perfect to visit the different areas of the city and to begin to understand how each section developed and what made it unique. Diego was our driver and guide. He was excited to share the history and culture of Burnos Aires and Argentina. He was funny, knowledgeable, hospitable, and continues to respond to our messages for recommendations for dining and activities, even for our trip to Bariloche. Diego accommodated our request to be picked up at our hotel, and our tour ended at a former theater turned bookstore that we wanted to see. Our tour passed quickly and we enjoyed our time with Diego.
We had the BEST time on our tour with Diego. He was so professional, insightful, and funny with us. Diego balanced sharing both local history and sharing about his own experiences living in Argentina and Buenos Aires. It made our experience much more authentic and charming. He took us to several great locations and was patient while I moved around taking pictures. We highly recommend Diego and will book with him again the next time we’re in Buenos Aires. Thank you so much, Diego!
This was one of the best walking tours i have done! Ezequiel felt like a friend, had lots of knowledge and made this experience really enjoyable. He also recommended us things to do and restaurants to eat which were also our highlights on our stay. Definitely book this walking tour you get to see everything and work out where you want to spend your days here !
I have travelled a fair bit over the years, but rarely have I encountered a guide quite like Carlos. To call this a city tour would be a terrible injustice. It was closer to spending an afternoon with Jorge Luis Borges, had Borges possessed a better sense of humour, a more cheerful disposition, and an encyclopedic knowledge of Buenos Aires. Carlos is a wonderful character. Warm, funny, immensely knowledgeable, and blessed with that distinctly Argentine ability to turn the most ordinary conversation into a philosophical reflection on history, politics, football, or the peculiarities of the human condition. One moment we were discussing the grand ambitions of San Martín, the next the enduring mythology of Evita Perón, and before long the ghosts of Gardel, Piazzolla, Maradona, and even the formidable Sarmiento had joined us for the afternoon. Buenos Aires is a magnificent city, full of contradictions. European grandeur and Latin American passion, faded aristocracy and revolutionary fervour, melancholy tango and the almost religious devotion to football. Carlos somehow makes sense of it all. He knows the buildings, the streets, the history, and, more importantly, the stories behind them. He speaks of his city with the affection of a man who knows all its flaws and loves it anyway. He is also a devoted husband and proud father of two children, one a musician and the other a high school student. I particularly enjoyed hearing about his family. There is something reassuring about a man who can move effortlessly from the political machinations of Juan Domingo Perón to the everyday joys and tribulations of raising children. At various points I half expected Julio Cortázar to emerge from a café, Mafalda to offer some devastating observation about Argentine politics, or Diego Maradona himself to appear and explain why the hand of God was, in fact, entirely justified. By the end of the tour, I felt I had learned more about Argentina than I could have from a week of reading history books. More importantly, I felt I had made a friend. Borges once wrote that every man should think that his own city is the most beautiful in the world. After an afternoon with Carlos, I am beginning to suspect that Buenos Aires may actually have a legitimate claim. Five stars seem rather miserly. I would happily award this man the entire Southern Cross. ¡Gracias, Carlos! May your mate always be warm, your asados plentiful, your children prosperous, and your beloved Buenos Aires forever as gloriously complicated as the people who inhabit it.
Our tour was fantastic! Ezequiel is so knowledgeable , flexible and friendly; he gives you all sorts of details of the area and he gives you advices and tips of different places to eat and shop, if needed. He is great, excellent person!!
We enjoyed our tour of the city despite it being somewhat difficult to understand our guide. He had only recently learned to speak English. Our guide did spend several hours with us and showed us very cool areas of the city.
Diego, our guide, was a jewel in Buenos Aires. He was in our hotel on time ( little early) and showed us lots of places with valuable information. He was funny, kind and very approachable. He has a special gift who could easily connect with people. I highly recommend this tour with Diego. He also gave us lots of extra information where to go and eat.
Great quick trip in and out of Argentina 🇦🇷 on ferry. Carlos was the best guide, very knowledgeable and fun to be around for our quick visit.
It’s a great way to see the city and key sights when you don’t have much time. Carlos was patient while we took our time at each stop and he is very knowledgeable. My tour was in the late afternoon and I wished I had known that a few places on the list close early, some at 6pm, others at 7pm so keep that in mind when choosing your tour time. Thank you again Carlos for a very fun and insightful tour!
So knowledgeable and accommodating enabling us to enjoy every moment. The itinerary covers everything you need to see in BA to get a great overview of the city. Thank you Carlos.
Had a wonderful time exploring Buenos Aires with Fatima! She is super knowledgeable. The tour was made easy by getting dropped off and picked up at each spot. Totally recommend.
Amazing tour - saw all of the pertinent sights, guise Fatima very knowledgeable as far as history which I greatly appreciated.
Ezequiel was a terrific guide. He was generous with his time, flexible as to what we saw and the time spent at the various stops (we also changed our drop off location without a problem), very knowledgeable about the past and today’s world events and their impact on Argentina, prompt at pick up time, and showed us a combination of the highlights of the city and some hidden gems. He also has an easy way of giving you the history combined with a great sense of humor. We can’t recommend him enough. A really good tour and tour guide
Diego was INCREDIBLE!!! It's hard to even describe all that he did for us. He is like a walking history book!!!! He doesn't just point out the things that we're seeing, he goes into the history of ALL and how Argentina has grown and changed in many different ways and what the future holds in all of the different parts of the city that he took us to. He even took us into a gift shop to tell us about the various traditions of the Argentina. people showing us very interesting and beautiful tea cups with large cut tea leaves that were already inside of the pretty cups. We went to all of the great tourist attractions shown on the details of the listing, and then he added more that he just couldn't stand our missing some of his favorite places LOL. He even took us to an awesome ice cream and candy shop and recommended an amazing place for lunch! HOWEVER..... the greatest part of the trip was his incredible personality. Honestly, he could make a million dollars being comedian!!! He kept us laughing the entire day.!!! it would be impossible to find a better tour guide and all of Argentina..
Diego was a great tour guide. He did a wonderful job sharing the history of Buenos Aires while showing us all of the highlights.
We had a really great day with Diego as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and took us all over Buenos Aires and was able to cover everything from history to culture to architecture to food. I highly recommend this tour and definitely request Diego as your guide because you will not be disappointed.
We only had an 11-hour day time stop once in Buenos Aires. This tour provided us a thorough trip of the highlights and many of the varied neighborhoods and interesting colorful areas of Buenos Aires. Such much variation and personality in this city - beautiful architecture, stunning monuments and amazing street art. The markets in San Telmo were incredible. Our guide, Carlos, was extremely knowledgeable, fun, easy going and friendly. An awesome way to experiences a little bit of BA in a short time.
Diego served as our guide and he was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and really entertaining. We had a great time with him and highly recommend this tour. We travel extensively and he was one the best.
I had an absolute outstanding tour with Massimiliano. As I had already visited the main tourist sights the day before, Massimiliano very kindly tailored the itinerary so I could experience the authentic side of the city. One of the highlights was an extended tour of Caminito, where he took me deeper into the neighbourhood, explained in depth the story of the port. I saw so much during the tour, so many different areas and things I hadn't fully understood when I had seen them earlier. In the historic centre, Massimiliano took me to Librería de Ávila the oldest bookshop in Buenos Aires, which was very special. Massimiliano’s flexibility, knowledge and passion made me feel I experienced the real Buenos Aires. It really was a 5* tour; I cannot recommend Massimiliano enough!
Carlos did a great job - even dodged the rain! We saw the main sights of Buenos Aires and got some great travel tips.
Honestly the best city tour we have taken! Fatima was so well informed and interesting and designed the tour perfectly. Charlie was such a considerate and careful driver. If you’re coming to BA book this!!!
We had an 11-hr stop over in Buenos Aires and wanted to spend the day seeing a bit about the city. The tour was excellent. Our guide, Carlos, was so easy going, personable, friendly and fun. We saw many of the neighborhoods and areas of Buenos Aires and some incredible landmarks. We wouldn't have seen nearly as much without this tour.

My wife and I had a private tour with Diego. It was an action packed and great day exploring the major sights of Buenos Aires. Diego had excellent recommendations and great insight into the local culture/activities for tourists. We had a great time and highly recommend.
We did this tour on our first day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ezequiel was a great guide, he gave us a mix of history, facts and conversation, showing us the city sights and where there were stops we didn’t feel rushed, Ezequiel gave us time to enjoy them. A wonderful introduction to the city.
Ezekiel is an excellent Tour Guide. One of the best we have experienced so far in our South America trip. He is knowledgeable, kind, gracious and funny. We had a nice and amazing time with him.
Ezekiel is one of the best tour guides we have experienced so far in our South America trip. He is kind, gracious and humorous too. Our four hours of tour seemed not enough with all good things he told about Argentina.
