We tour both sides of the falls. Amazing experience we had. Our tour guide Sandra did a fantastic job for the planning and logistics until the end.

Absolutely do NOT miss a trip to these amazing Falls—it is a once in a lifetime experience. I am 75 (but everything still works fortunately) and I had no trouble walking all the trails. Getting down to (and up from) the boat ride to get soaked from the spray under the Falls gave a completely different experience, but note that there are quite a few stairs (they do supply dry bags but consider bringing a change of clothes)
This 2 day tour was excellent. I was lucky to have Daniela F as my guide for both days, incredibly professional with interesting stories and insights at each location. I recommend this tour if you are coming to see Iguazu Falls. The hotel was very nice too, with an easy walk to the Triple Frontiers.
Our two-day Iguazu Falls Viator trip was great. We chose to see the Brazilian side of the falls and spend a night in Brazil before seeing the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Day one was magnificent! Seeing the massive falls from 'ground level' was overwhelming. The hotel accommodations provided by Viator were excellent, truly a 5-star hotel. On day 2 we saw the falls on the Argentinian side. Seeing them from above was a perfect ending to our Viator trip.
We loved the falls, Lucia is an amazing guide
The worst tour ever!! Let me start by saying that we love tours and have used tours for 40 years, we have been on long multi-country tours and short lunch tours. We are well aware that not all tour guides are stand up comedians. The Viator “2-Day Iguazu Falls with airfare from Buenos Aires” @ $2,000.00 was expensive and we were very excited to go on it. We were picked up at our hotel and loaded into a van, no one said “Hi” or introduced themselves (Never did learn the tour guide’s name…) There was none of the usual - “Hello, I am so & so and today we are going to explore blah blah”. Zero, crickets… So, we are being driven by 3 glum souls deeper and deeper into a rainforest with zero conversation. There should have been plenty to talk about, the rainforest was beautiful and we were passing what looked to be indigenous settlements, but no, not a word. By this time we were starting to feel like we were headed off to an organ harvesting site. We asked what was going on and received grunted responses about picking up others (Ok, thank God!) We picked up others and assumed that we would now get a run down of what to expect, but no, that never happened… We were finally told that we were going to Brazil first, our printed itinerary had us going to the Argentinian side first but that’s fine. This was supposed to have an English speaking guide, he would utter a few things in english but the little that he said was mostly in spanish. Fine, we are off to see a UNESCO Heritage Site, we will get through this! We arrived at the falls and followed the guide to the bus, still no talk of what to expect (How long is the trail, what we are looking at, where to meet, NOTHING). We get to the falls and are pointed to a trail.` The guide is grumply sitting under a tree. By this time, we are grumpy too. We have no idea how long the trail is or what the conditions are, but we soldier on. It is 4 in the afternoon and 100 degrees. I am not feeling 100%, so we get through what looks to be about 75% of the walk and decide to wait for our group to head back. After a bit we realize that it appears to be a one way trail, no one was coming back.. We asked an unrelated guide what was going on and he happily explained that it was indeed a one way trail and most groups met at the shopping area at the end of the trail. We went to the shopping area and waited for our tour group to emerge. Horrible!!! But wait, the ride back to the hotel just gets better! The traffic is bumper to bumper (obviously, not the guide's fault) After about an hour of this, they send the youngest guide, with our passports in hand, to run up ahead to check us out of the park. Again it’s 100 degrees, young guide sent on a 3-4 mile jog. After about another ½ hour our guide and driver become frustrated and start driving erratically on the other side of the road against the incoming traffic. Yes, you heard me correctly, weaving in and out of oncoming traffic, horns blaring, people screaming at us!! Frigging fighting nightmare! We pass the young guide and keep going, I yell “stop”, but they continue. The young guide now flat out running to catch up (With our passports….). We finally escaped the park. We arrived back at our promised “4 star” hotel and are now able to check in. We had left our luggage at the hotel desk in the morning because it was too early to check in. Too early to check in also meant that we had to take all of our valuables with us on the tour and because we had zero faith or trust in our guides, we carried them on our hike from hell. Shocker alert!!! The hotel is a dump, an 80’s Aztec monstrosity complete with cracked avocado green linoleum flooring and unpainted plywood walls. We emailed our contact for advice for the second time that day and asked what to expect the following day. We learned that our exit flight has been pushed back from 4pm to 8 pm. That's 12 hours with the guides from hell, to visit a waterfall?!?!. No thanks. We asked for an itinerary and how we were going to fit our luggage in the already filled tiny van. We received non-helpful information back. Enough! We notified the contact that we will be discontinuing the tour and asked if they could book us on a 10:30am flight that had plenty of seats available. Zero response. We caught a cab back to the airport and swapped our 8pm flight for the 10:30am and enjoyed a beautiful day in Buenos Aires.
This tour was amazing. Our guide, Ariel, was well organised and approachable to answer any questions. He ensured everyone was comfortable and kept well hydrated as it was very hot and humid during our stay in the region. It is a very busy tour but well worth it for the magnificence of the Iguassu Falls. There were some difficulties with information provided by the tour operator however they always responded to messages and clarified information when contacted. Be sure to do the jet boat ride if you do this tour- absolute fun, even if you get drenched.!!
If you arrive in the morning you cannot book into room until 3pm and our hotel was no where near any shops or restaurants so sat around for 4 hours until our tour started The tour itself was excellent
We stayed one night on the Argentinian side and visited both the Brazil and Argentina sides of the Falls over two days. The trails used on both sides were easily accessible with outstanding views! It was local school holidays, so quite crowded, but this did not spoil the experience. The trip was very well organised from start to finish. However, I would have liked more communication about the details of the trip leading up to the date. We were only informed just before each part of the trip about what to expect next. Also, we were dropped off at our hotel straight from the airport with 3 hours to fill in. We couldn’t access our room and no food was available for us to purchase and the Hotel was not near any cafes or restaurants. Having been on the go since 3.45am, we were quite tired and hungry at this stage. Overall, Buckrt List - ticked off! A definite highlight of our holiday.
This is a once in a lifetime experience which I highly recommend. The Falls, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the 7 wonders of the world is mind blowing. I did the flight to the Falls which was easy and well organized, well organized logistics to get through immigration and to Brazil side of Iguazu, and then Argentina side of Falls the next day. I added on the Bird Sanctuary and the Boat Ride, both of which I highly recommend. Migel the guide was outstanding, knowledgable, well organized, good comms and wonderful. Can't say enough about this extraordinary experience.
A stunningly beautiful experience seeing one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world. Highly recommend seeing both sides of the falls. The all inclusive tour made it transport easy, and the overall experience was enjoyable and incredible. We stayed in central Iguaza on the Argentina side and the town is fun, lively, and touristy.
Trying to arrange our flights to Iguazu Falls was a nightmare. Our flt from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls was changed 3 times, including changing airports. That was followed by canceling the flight the night before - except that it was also the day we were leaving since it is an overnight flight to get to Buenos Aires. All flt to Iguazu Falls were booked and we couldn't get any flights until the next day. Instead of cutting out tour in half, the tour guide allowed us to do the missed portion on the last day (our late flt out to return to Buenos Aires). So, we got to see both sides of the fall. It was very nice of them to be that flexible. The tour was great! Except for one thunderstorm that lasted about 30 min, the weather worked out for us. Our guide was great in handling all the paperwork transitioning the Brazil-Argentina border. I wouldn't want to do that on my own. I wish the Brazil side tour was another 30min longer since we felt rushed and left the park around noon time - giving us about 90 min at the park. The crowd was quite big and it took almost that amount of time to get to the end point. However, the views from the Brazil side was the best.
This excursion truly was the highlight of our trip that included a 22 day cruise from Santiago to Buenos Aires via Antarctica. It was the biggest diamond in a trip full of diamonds. Pre-Excursion, Dayron with Signature DMC A DMC Network Company, did a great job of answering our questions and making our arrangements. The transfers from hotels to airports through out the tour were handled very professionally, friendly and were of not stress to us.. Our first day was a private tour of the Argentina side of the Falls with Martin (guide) and Christian (driver). Both were fantastic host. Martin was one of the best guides I have had the pleasure of being involved with. His English was fantastic and he took the time to converse with us, to find our interest. As the day developed and he learned more about us he adjusted our pace and what he told and showed us. After Martin left and Christian took us to Brazil for the night, he too did a fantastic job of talking with us and telling us about the area. Our hotel accommodations in Brazil were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had a great view of the city. The staff was very patient with us as we navigated their establishment with only English. The only, and very minor issue, with the trip occurred here at the hotel and I'm not sure where the fault lies. We thought we were going to have a place to shower and change at the hotel after the second day. We did not. Fortunately the day was relatively cool and we did not need a shower. We were able to change in the lobby restrooms. This could be a big problem if the weather was hotter and we had perspired a lot. The second day was a visit to the Brazilian side of the Falls. Again our guide and drivers were professional, kind, and took the time to answer any questions we had. Because this was not a private tour, we missed some of the personal touches Martin and Christian had given us, but overall the drivers and guide again did a fantastic job. If you are in the area this tour is a must. The two sides of the Falls are very different but awe inspiring. I will admit that the Brazilian side is a must for its overall views of the falls. The Argentinian side is a must see for really getting to know the falls and wildlife. You must see both sides to really appreciate the majesty of Iguazu Falls. I would not hesitate to do this tour again.
The trip was handled quite well. From the early morning pick up from our hotel, flight and the hotel on the Argentine. The flight is short from Buenos Aires and our driver was waiting for us outside of the airport. Getting in to the Brazil side of the Falls took about an hour in line to go through customs. We lucked out on day 1 of the trip as we were the only ones in the group. It was awesome but not as awesome as our guide. Miguel knows the Falls inside and out. The views were worth the wait! Pictures do not do them justice. The hotel was i02 Hotel Iguazu, It was nice and the desk attendants were very nice. There is a rooftop pool and bar. You are close enough to walk in to town for your choice of many restaurants and bars. The next morning there was a group of 15 of us. The Argentine side of the Falls are just as stunning. We had lunch at a sit down restaurant in the park and the bbq was actually very good. It's not cheap but it was very good and there was air con. After our day most of the group were going back to their hotels and we were flying back to Buenos Aires. Miguel had a taxi set up for us and we were promptly dropped off at the airport. It was a fabulous time. Be prepared to walk a lot. To me more stairs on the Brazil side and more walking on the Argentine side. I would certainly recommend this trip!!!
An awesome experience. One you should not miss. Going to both the Brazil and Argentina side is a mist do. The guide was very informative and helpful. I only wish that since we opted for the boat trip that we had more time for lunch but the boat trip is something not to be missed. It was an amazing time. Yes you get wet but it was so hot that it cooled us off.
We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the Airport, our flight to Iguazu was 1:50. We were met at the Airport and taken to meet with Horatio our guide who took us to the Brazilian side of the falls first. We then went to our hotel for the night. We were picked up in the morning and taken to the Argentinian side of the falls where we spent the day. I must say that everything went smoothly and we had a great experience.
The experience at the falls was awesome. Certainly a once in a lifetime experience and a must-do if ever the opportunity arises. The logistics of the tour ran smoothly but there is a bit of down time. Our tour guide was Ariel who did a great job. The accommodation we were assigned changed at short notice, and it was dated and in need of some TLC. Apart from that, transfers ran smoothly. We would recommend doing the boat trip. A real experience but bring a change of clothes as you will get drenched. Be aware that the airline used by our tour operator (Jetsmart), randomly allocates seats and then charges extra if you want to sit together with your partner. This is not good PR. Otherwise the experience in Iguazu was exceptional, In hindsight an extra day would have been great to see some of the attractions we missed out on.
The tour was actually perfect. This all started with the driver pickup at my hotel, right on time. All pickup times were exact, no worries at all. The falls tour was great with our guide Carlos a perfect host of the tour.
It was an awesome experience. We went with a small group and thoroughly enjoyed both Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the falls. It was raining heavily one of the days, so our rain jackets and ponchos came in handy. In spite of that, be prepared to be soaked. The hotel that we were put up at had minimal amenities and the staff was not very friendly, though it was centrally located. All other arrangements including pickup, drop off, flights and guide were excellent!
Fabulous to see the falls from both the Brazilian and Argentina side. Tour was super well organized and our tour guide Pajaro was excellent, superb and fun.
Iguazu Falls should not be missed. The today experience of both sides of the falls was a trip of a lifetime time. It’s not just the water falls but the entire environment. Plants, birds, butterfly’s, exotic animals are all part of the trip
Iguazu Falls is an amazing place, and I could not have been more pleased with this tour. It was so well-organized, and Viator's local operator made sure that it was a seamless experiences. They kept me updated on transfers via What's App, and when my flight was delayed so long that I would miss the tour of the Brazil side, they arranged a private tour for a very reasonable price. To make sure I arrived by the last entry at 4 pm, they used two drivers - one in Argentina, and the other in Brazil - to expedite the border crossings. The driver's personal connections in Brazil made sure that we didn't even have to stop! When I joined the group portion of the tour the next day, the local guide was outstanding and made it very easy to add on the Great Adventure. I know that there are a lot of negative reviews of the hotel online. Yes, it is a little worn. But it is clean, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly, too.
Loved seeing the falls and experience the adventure. Fabulous tour guide.made thiis a wonderful experience.
Trip was well organised and the team were very friendly. The falls were stunning and I'm glad to have seen them from both sides. I'd recommend staying on the Brazilian side if you prefer a bigger town (more restaurants and shops close to the hotel). I'd also recommend packing something dry to change into plus a hairbrush if you are doing the Gran Adventure Boat Ride (optional extra) and flying back to Buenos Aires on the same day. You will get soaked - some people on the Gran Adventure changed into swim wear, which, if you have the body confidence to do, is a good option too.
Good tour guide Rodolfo in Iguazu. Accommodation good on the Argentinian side. Flights with Areolinius Argentina are unreliable with our return flight delayed for over four hours and your rushed to get to the airport early to see if there was an earlier option. The pickup at airport back to hotel did not happen. Driver said he was at the terminal but after two slow checks of all holding signs clear they were not there.
Great tour. Great guide. Pajaro. Very entertaining. Soaked by the rain on first day. Soaked by the waterfalls 2nd day. All par for the course. Luckily our hotel in Brazil was a good class and we got the chance to dry our clothes. We then had a change of clothes for the flight home. We even got upgraded to business which was a bonus.
We HAVE NOT actually gone yet. We booked and paid for a trip Feb/Mar 2026 and have been reaching out to the company to get confirmations and flight info etc so we can book the rest of our trip. Absolute silence! After more than 6 weeks of no response to our queries, I'm only writing here to see if the tripadvisor community has any information on this tour company. The reviews seem good, but now we are wondering if it's a scam. I'm about to contact Amex to refute the charge. Before I do that, I'm hoping the company might read this and respond. We totally want to do the excursions (ours includes the eco lodge)
Seeing Iguazu Falls was the main reason I traveled to Argentina. Sol Iguazu and our tour guide made it all worth it. Our guide for the tour and all the other Sol Iguazu staff were polite, helpful and responsive. Our guide went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything and were comfortable and prepared everything. He was also knowledgeable and answered questions in detail and good English. I would definitely recommend Sol Iguazu to other travelers. Viator, on the other hand, I will never use again and will not recommend them. Their web site is NOT user friendly and impossible to navigate. The people you talk to on the phone are nice enough but either don't understand what you are saying or don't know what they doing. I clearly stated that I did not have a visa for Brazil and, therefore, could not go on a tour that included the Brazil side of the Falls. The rep sold me a two-day tour that he said would not include Brazil. When we got there we realized the tour did include Brazil and so we spent the day in the hotel. That might not have been so bad, except the hotel was out in the middle of nowhere so there was no town to explore or any where to walk to sites. Also, the hotel was very low quality. Their idea of a restaurant was a buffet serving very poor quality food. We could have done a one-day tour and saved money and time. On the bright side, the driver they sent to take us to the airport and back to our hotel after the tour was excellent. Friendly, helpful, on time and courteous. It was so nice to see a recognizable face coming out of the airport after a long day!
Worth every penny to see the world’s biggest waterfall from both the Brazil side and Argentina side. we even walked across friendship bridge into Paraguay.
A great experience from beginning to end. Drivers were on time and flights were smooth both ways, plus the hotel Exe Catarataes was a great place to rest in between visiting both sides of Iguazu Falls. Tour guide was wonderful and it was an adventure all should do if in the region.
the weather messed everything up, flight delays to the point that we missed our entire first day. Driver who m et us spoke not one word of English so we had no idea what to do when to be anyplace etc etc. He literally "dropped" us at the hotel 9very nice hotel Argentina side, The American Hotel). We had no direction or any idea what the new sequence of our tour would be. It was an entire day of delay and frustration from lack of communication albeit they had my cell and text.
A rain jacket is highly recommended. It rained all afternoon during our visit to the Brazilian side of the falls. Some of the shops do sell panchos if you rather not bring a rain jacket. Still worth it if you get wet!

I signed up for the two day tour from Buenos Aires- flew out in the morning, spent the afternoon on the Brazilian side to see the falls and the 2nd day was spent on the Argentinian side. I chose to spend the night at a hotel (rather than a resort) on the Brazilian side (Foz), for which I have no regrets and quite enjoyed (but it did make for an earlier departure on the 2nd day to cross the border). Victoria from Signature Tours was very helpful and responsive and spoke excellent English (I had an initial chat with her about options and we then communicated electronically). Moreover, and more importantly, they lined up the drivers and the tour company in Iguazú. A particular shout out to Sandra from Sol Iguazu Tourismo, who was our guide for both days at the Iguazu Falls- outstanding! She was knowledgeable, kind and firm (the latter which was important to ensure that we stayed on schedule and see what needed to be seen). Highly recommend Signature Tours- they are very professional and did all the organizing for which was an enjoyable visit.
An active, full 2 days marveling at the beauty of this Must See site! Our guide, Ariel was amazing. Very attentive to our needs and informative. Made our visit extremely smooth. All arrangements very professionally handled from our pickup at our Buenos Aires hotel to our drop off back in Buenos Aires. Only complaint is the overnight offsite hotel in Iguazú Falls was below expectations. Air conditioning very “iffy” , hallways dark. We requested an upgrade or the “newer side “ of the hotel and that was much better. Would recommend Viator offer hotel options when booking. We would have chosen staying in park if that option had been offered.
It is a gorgeous place to visit and having Viator take care of all the travel arrangements and transfers makes it a trouble free trip.
The tour and guide were both good; however, the logistics were difficult. We had to go to a different tour pretour and Signature Tours would not let us change our drop off location. 5 am the morning of our tour, the driver was a no show and we had to take a cab to the airport. We had to ask twice for reimbursement. The hotel room at Iguazu Falls was subpar. It was small, outdated, and in need of some repairs. The restaurant however was good.
Good tour. Friendly tour guide. Pajaro is very knowledgeable. We enjoy every minute of the tour. High recommend
We had a fantastic time viewing both sides of the falls in Brazil & Argentina. We took the helicopter over the falls in Brazil and then the “great adventure “ up to the falls on the Argentina side. The boat ride was our favourite, it was exciting and made us laugh . The whole tour was excellently organised and the guides on both the Brazilia & Argentina side were great. I would highly recommend this tour with this company , it took and all the stress away of having to organise things in foreign countries where English is not necessarily spoken .
Carlos our guide for the two days was patient but clear in how to maneuver as we moved through the crowds and this helped to make the tours, helicopter and boat rides amazing. The service from the staff was excellent. Only one issue was with a change in flight to another airline which threw our time out.
Our tour guide, Manuel, was amazing. The 2 day Iguazú Falls trip was well worth it. Our hotel room on the Brazilian side was sub-par but flights and tours were amazing.
A brilliant experience and well worth going. I was by myself with the tour guide and driver on the first day and with a group on the second day. It was valuable to read other reviews first as then they made more sense on the day - you are only driven to the airport and you go through by yourself to be collected at the airport in Iguazu but you've already flown to Argentina right so you are no stranger to airports. The jungle in Iguazu is amazing and you land right in the middle. If you like butterflies it is extra special. The view from both sides of the falls is amazing. I also added the helicopter flight and The Great Adventure - perfect for a hot day but yes, you do get soaked however your valuables are safe in the waterproof bag supplied. I didn't need to have taken wet shoes as you take your shoes off when in the boat and put them in the waterproof bag, Taking a small towel was useful. Had an absolute ball.
We had a wonderful time and met some great people. Our two days were filled with activity. Ricardo, our guide, was incredible. I can’t praise him enough. The falls were amazing.
Seeing the Iguazu Falls! The driver’s were prompt. The only problem was the driver took us to the wrong hotel (JL) in Brazil. Evidently , Viator changed the hotel without telling the driver. The driver left and then I discovered the rooms had been canceled. I calked the company and we had to wait 45 minutes for driver to come back. We had planned to go out to lunch but we had no time as the tour started at 2 pm. We had to eat in the hotel and the food was horrible. Otherwise, things went smoothly.
Too many great memories !!!! We visited both sides. Each side has their own unique experience ! The boat ride was incredible !!!!!
We booked a two days trip with airfare from Buenos Aires, directly from the company site. I entered immediately in communication with an agent, on whatsapp. That was really convenient for me as I booked it while I was still at home, in a 6hrs apart time zone. Communication happened in English. Operators were always prompt and helpful. We booked an all inclusive shared tour with pick up and dropp off to our hotel in Buenos Aires. Everything went very smooth whith local guide and drivers. We enjoulyed every minute of this trip and we recommend this company!
Guide was great. Hotel sucked. Paper thin walls. Could see light from the unit next door. Late night screaming children. Next to an elevator and a tennis court. Not a 4 star hotel
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip, and found that it provided everything as promised in the description and was well-organized by the tour company. The falls are majestic and should not be missed! Since I was on vacation in Buenos Aires, I was so happy to find this tour in which the tour company handled the logistics for me, after I had planned so many other details of my vacation. I was able to have free time in the city where my hotel was, in Foz do Iguaçu, which I wasn't expecting, but enjoyed! My guide and drivers were excellent, all of them friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I think travelers should understand that there might be a decent amount of waiting at airports because of the logistical aspects of travel planning - I have a friend in operations at a tour company and she explained that my tour itinerary was on par with the industry standard.
First off- the Falls are amazing, I definitely recommend making a trip to see them. It was this tour that I didn’t enjoy and feel like I was mislead.. Description said 7hrs at the Falls each day. We spent maybe a few hours there each day then were taken to the hotel/airport and were left to fend for ourselves for the entire afternoon. It would have been much cheaper and convenient to organize ourselves
Erika of Signature DMC was very helpful and responsive to our needs before and during our trip to Iguazú falls. I would highly recommend her and her company to anyone planning a trip to Iguazú falls.
