This is a nice, fairly new, hotel located next door to the stadium where the Boca Juniors play. It's walkable to all the touristy stores and restaurants in La Boca. The area is safe during the day, but we were told to stay inside at night. The rooms were clean and spacious. The housekeeping staff were friendly. The restaurant was wonderful with a nice selection on the breakfast buffet and wonderful menu options at dinner. The restaurant staff were all friendly and welcoming. The rooms are suites with a nice bar, kitchen cabinets, dining table, and separate bedroom, but it's not usable space. There are no dishes in the cabinets and no microwave or hot plate to heat food. All you have in the "kitchen," is a kettle to heat hot water and a mini fridge. Also, there was only a really uncomfortable sofa in the living room. One other issue was the design of the bedroom where the air-conditioner blows directly on you in the bed, so, if you use it, it's very cold. If you dont use it, it gets hot. The biggest issue was that the electronic key to enter the room only worked about half the time, which created a need to make multiple trips to the front desk for key assistance. Front desk never once said they were sorry we were having key problems. The front desk staff, with the exception of the night crew and the tall thin male on the day shift, weren't very friendly. Each time we entered the hotel, we would say hello, but they never looked up or acknowledged that we had entered the building and never said hello. Also, we arrived at 11a and they made us wait until 2pm to check-in, although the hotel was only 20% occupied. Definitely a customer service issue at the front desk. You don't really feel welcomed. I'm not sure I would recommend staying here. There are places in San Telmo that you can stay and walk over for a day walkabout in La Boca.

Serious Safety, Privacy, and Operational Compliance Failures This property is marketed as a 4-star hotel, yet during my stay it demonstrated multiple failures in safety procedures, guest privacy, and basic operational standards that are inconsistent with that classification. Emergency preparedness and fire safety: During my stay, a fire occurred in the hotel restaurant. No fire alarm was activated, and no evacuation or guest notification procedures were executed. Guests were not informed by staff; I became aware of the situation only after smelling smoke and visually confirming the fire from my balcony. When questioned, staff stated that evacuation was unnecessary because “the fire was in the restaurant, not the rooms.” This response reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of fire-safety protocols, as fires can escalate unpredictably and require immediate guest notification and risk assessment. Emergency communication and in-room safety equipment: This is the only property represented as 4-star in which I have stayed that does not provide a phone or a safe in the guest room. The absence of an in-room phone significantly limits emergency communication in the event of fire, medical emergency, or security incident. Guest privacy violations: Hotel staff entered my occupied room on three separate occasions without proper authorization or warning. On one occasion, a “Do Not Disturb” sign was not displayed; however, the absence of such signage does not constitute permission to enter an occupied room. Unauthorized entry represents a clear breach of guest privacy and hospitality standards. Operational and staff communication failures: There were repeated inconsistencies in staff communication regarding breakfast charges. After confirming with staff that breakfast was included upon providing my name and room number, I was later confronted by a supervisor mid-meal and in front of other guests and told I had not paid the previous day. This issue resulted from internal miscommunication and was handled in a public and unprofessional manner, without corrective resolution or guest consideration. Management response: Following the repeated privacy violations, I formally raised these concerns with front desk staff and was told that management would contact me promptly. No follow-up occurred for more than 36 hours, despite the seriousness of the reported issues. While the manager was cordial during a brief interaction on the day of the fire, the lack of timely response demonstrates insufficient escalation and accountability. The issues outlined above represent material failures in safety procedures, privacy protections, emergency preparedness, and operational oversight. These are not minor service inconveniences but compliance-level concerns that are incompatible with the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. For context, I operate a hotel and travel channel with over 500,000 followers and do not publish negative reviews lightly. This review is posted to document systemic failures that require corrective action.
New Modern Hotel in the heart of La Boca, Buenos Aires directly at the main entrance of the CABJ Stadium. It offers everything you need such as modern spacious rooms with terrace, rooftop with pool, little gym, spa and restaurant!
The rooms are amazing with an extremely comfy bed. The rooms are clean and the service is good. The people are nice and willing to help were possible.
We booked this hotel for a second time regarding our first visit, which was great. This time, check in and check out process was like nightmare. We spent there only like 4 hours because of our next flight, so we expected fast process at reception desk. Unfortunatelly 24 h reception is a lie during night, there is only Spanish speaking 'security'. Check in takes more than 20 minutes, a lot of chaos, security guy once run away with another guest only showing us with gestures "time out" (?). We have there laundry to pick up, he dont have any informations about that and let us searching for it in some backoffice. Some pieces of laundry were missing, hotel prosimed proccesing of the claim but communication stopped. Check out was also with this Security man with much bigger chaos, he does not let us pay with card, he kept cash and does not give us any reciep, showed us in translator that it will be send by email, but does not happened. In hotel of this category we were expecting proffesional, fast and smooth service and not almost hour spent with translator with totally unpropper personal.
