4 stars is a wild exaggeration. Maybe once upon a time, long, long ago. No mini bar-in any room- with the lame excuse that there was a fire, some time ago. The room has nothing even remotely reminiscing of decoration, the safe needs a key to operate it-no explanation provided. The TV remote doesn't work, and the AC can only operate at max 24 degrees or it will break. When asked if the hotel handles currency exchange, the receptionist pulled out his own wallet. And don't get me started on the breakfast. The bathtub is truly disgusting, with large chunks of paint(!?) peeling off at the bottom. Lamp shades falling apart and the wall paper peeling off the walls. On our way back to the hotel one afternoon, we found a group of guests at the front door, not being able to get in as the door is locked! After a while ghe receptionist comes and unlocks the door and let's us in. He was apparently busy elsewhere and there was noone else to watch the reception while he was gone. Imagine this - a 4-star hotel where the guests can't get in because the receptionist has locked the front door! And to finish off on the last day...a big fat cockroach crawling up the wall right above the breakfast buffet table. They were just lucky me and my wife were the only guests present at the moment, and my wife is nor a screamer...
