Well located hotel at walking distance from the most emblematic sites in Argentina. It is close to San Telmo and if you are visiting Buenos Aires it is a good spot from where to coordinate your visits. It is not "walking friendly" on weekdays at night. It is close to the financial center in Buenos Aires so you might find it a little loomy after dark.

What a fantastic stay we've had in this hotel From check in to check out, breakfast in VIP lounge, and the room - all 5* quality & service Special thanks to Juan at check in for giving us a great 1st impression! To the staff at breakfast, particularly Mitcom, Tania & Lara and to housekeeping for tidying up after us Thank you all so much for being friendly, helpful and professional I will definitely recommend this hotel
Staying at NH Collection Centro Histórico in Buenos Aires felt less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at a place that immediately understood what a traveler needs after a long journey. We landed in the city just before dawn, around 5:30 AM, expecting to wait hours before accessing our room. Instead, the front desk staff handled our early arrival with remarkable efficiency and warmth, arranging an early check-in that allowed us to rest almost immediately. That single gesture set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room itself struck a perfect balance between comfort and functionality. It was spacious enough to move around freely without that boxed-in feeling common in city hotels, and impeccably clean from the moment we arrived. Each day, housekeeping—especially Melisa—elevated the experience. Her attention to detail was exceptional: fresh towels always thoughtfully arranged, the room kept spotless, and small personal touches like handwritten notes that added a sense of genuine care rarely found in larger hotel chains. Mornings quickly became a highlight. The breakfast service offered a well-rounded selection that catered to both local flavors and international preferences. Everything we hoped for was available, and the staff managed the space with professionalism and ease, always attentive without being intrusive. It was the kind of breakfast that sets you up properly for a day of exploring. And explore we did, thanks largely to the hotel’s unbeatable location. Situated in the historic center, it allowed us to step outside and within minutes find ourselves surrounded by Buenos Aires’ most iconic landmarks. One particularly memorable moment was witnessing the ceremonial lowering of the Argentine flag in the nearby plaza—an experience that felt both intimate and culturally rich simply because we were so close. Adding to the convenience was Pertutti’s Restaurant right next door, which became our go-to spot for relaxed meals. Whether it was a morning coffee with fresh medialunas or a casual lunch between excursions, it complemented our stay perfectly. Overall, NH Collection Centro Histórico delivered a seamless blend of comfort, service, and location. It is a hotel that not only meets expectations but quietly exceeds them through thoughtful details and genuinely attentive staff—making it an excellent base for experiencing the rhythm and history of Buenos Aires.
Had a fantastic experience here. Our room was great, the gym had multiple types of foam rollers (first time we saw that in Argentina), and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to Ana Laura at the front desk for her excellent hospitality.
We had a very nice evening at the rooftop bar tonight. We had drinks outside on the terrace and went inside for a meal. A party of six all enjoyed their food and wines. We were served by Rachel who was amazing. So friendly and professional and catered to all our needs.
