Bad things first. 1-buffet breakfast is probably the most average one I have had in the last 3 weeks. 2- bathroom floods everytime you have a shower. 3- toilet jammed on after every flush. 4-a very hard bed 5- noisy hotel. Good things. 1- great location in the city 2- staff very professional

This is a great location in the old part of the city with large street markets at your doorstep. The breakfast is ok. The staff are very helpful and attentive to your needs and helped us out a lot over the some troubles we were having with a tour. However, the rooms are dark and dingy with very low lighting, which impacted our stay somewhat.
Very old hotel, leaky shower , ac is fixed - can’t change settings. No water in room - charging $5 for a litre . Very small kettle - no creamer . No coffee. Overall it is a three star hotel which is price pinching .
Kenton Palace This hotel is centrally located and was convenient for our 3-day city tour with a group of 18 people. The rooms appear recently renovated and have an inviting look. However, we encountered several issues during our stay. First, although our devices connected to the routers, there was no actual internet connection from the modem. This was the case for everyone in our group, from the 2nd floor to the 9th. The only place with a reliable connection was the main lobby near the front desk. Each time I mentioned the issue to the staff, I was told to reset my phone, which did not resolve the problem. The bathrooms also had design and maintenance issues. The swinging half-doors over the tubs were missing a gasket, causing water to splash out leaving the bathroom floor soaked after every shower. Some towels were severely worn and in need of replacement, and there were no USB outlets in the rooms for charging devices. The refrigerator in our room either did not work or turned off whenever the key card was removed from the slot near the door. On our second day, late in the afternoon, I asked the front desk when the room would be cleaned since housekeeping had not yet arrived. I was told that as long as the key card was left in the slot, housekeeping would not enter the room and that the “please clean room” door sign would be ignored. As a result, in order to have our room cleaned, we couldn’t keep food cool or maintain a comfortable room temperature, since everything powered off when the key card was removed from the room key slot. There is also an HVAC return line that runs vertically along the entire length of the hotel. If your room faces this line, expect a constant humming sound from the airflow, as the windows are not fully sealed to the exterior. Due to the selections made by Cosmos, our tour company, we did not have the option to choose our hotel. There are many alternatives within a few blocks, so if you have the flexibility, I would recommend researching your stay ahead of time. On a positive note, our bed was comfortable, the hotel was surprisingly quiet for such a central location, and the staff was very attentive and kind. Overall, we were well rested and enjoyed exploring the city
I stayed here for 2 nights with my children aged 4 and 18 in 2 rooms. While there were many great aspects, unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience during check out. We were accused of "breaking a kettle" in one of the rooms. In fact, on arrival there was a crack and a small piece of the kettle lid missing, presumably caused by a previous guest. It was still working despite this so we had no need to report it to reception. We had to cancel our taxi and I was pressured into paying for a replacement. The man at reception was rude and intimidating (in contrast to the very polite and helpful man who was present at check in). As we were in a rush to rebook another airport taxi I had no option but to pay, rather than miss our flight. He did not provide an itemised receipt and had to be asked 3 times to give me my change from the tourist tax as well. He was sniggering with his colleagues and speaking with them about us in Spanish, as we could understand a few words. My 4 year old was very upset by this. I have been in contact with my credit card company who are kindly arranging a charge-back, so at least I will get a refund for the kettle. On the plus side, the rooms were large and clean and the location was convenient. The pool was nice although the hot tub and sauna were not working. The dreadful experience at check out has unfortunately marred our short trip to Buenos Aires and has put me off from returning again.
