It’s a clean hotel and offers good service for the Buenos Aires area. However, the food isn’t tasty—the omelet, bacon, and whatever else you find at the buffet seem to have been made by a chef who doesn’t know how the food is supposed to turn out. The food trays are transported by the passenger elevator directly onto the floor. On top of that, if you’re a foreigner, they’ll try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible—watch out for VAT, etc.

The front desk staff are super helpful and assisted me with many practical things as I only speak a little Spanish and it is first time I visit Buenos Aires. They facilitated an early checkin with an available room even though I didn’t reach out beforehand. The room is adequate (would be great if tea and coffee are in the room but not great deal) and bed is comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and keep up the good work.
I recently stayed three nights at Huinid Obelisco. The rooms are clean and very comfortable in this modern hotel. The very helpful staff all spoke English. They kept a bag of mine for a week between two stays. And when I arrived early yesterday I got a room hours before the checkin time. I highly recommend this hotel.
I had an exceptional experience and will be staying here again when returning to Buenos Aires. Staying at the Huinid Obelisco was a quiet and modern place near many major sites and was confidently safe. I stayed for a week in a single room with a king size bed. The room was clean, modern, but outfitted with all that was needed for a comfortable stay with its own thermostat and a well outfitted bathroom. Staff were fluent in English and had perfect manners while being extremely accommodating, even at very late hours of the night. Breakfast was fresh every day and for the breakfast hours, no item was left empty. There was never trouble getting a taxi or Uber to or from the hotel due to the vicinity to the Obelisk and the amenities were modern and kept fresh and well maintained. The room service items from the hotel kitchen (a hot ham and cheese and a smoked trout bagel sandwich were tried, both with fries) were prepared fresh even late at night and were just the thing for a tired couple enjoying a lazy after a long day.
The most perfect hotel for a traveler visiting this city. They welcome so warmly and allow you to keep your bags both before and after your stay until your flight in which they also have a shuttle to the airport. The bed was wonderful and it was just an amazing experience a street down from the best road in Buenos Aires.
